Re: bored games?
Well, a couple years ago, Florida was hit by the hurricane season over and over again...
But I do play chess with my friends (at chess club, duh) and with my lil sister. I also play solitaire with myself. We play a form of full house and blackjack21 with my dad, lil sis, and I with nickels and dimes (my mom sometimes joins >.<) My lil sis and I play Spit, Uno, Go Fish, and that Worst case Senario trivia card game. ^o^ We have a monopoly set and mancala set, too. The Pokemon Sorry! set is collecting a whole lot of dust though. |
My family has taken to busting out board games a lot at family events these days.
We tend towards Monopoly, Scrabble and Chess. I don't know if we know any card games, though I'd like to play some. I'm looking forward to going home for Thanksgiving next week and playing some games with my brother and sister. Maybe my step-brother will be around too, which will be fun. ^__^ |
I played chess the other day with my Boyfriend and his dad. It was fun indeed.

When my family goes camping in the summer we usually always buy a new card game/board game especially for the trip. We'll play cards all day long up at the camp site. It's fun. ^.^ |

XD If we have a blackout, I'm on my Nintendo DS, then. >_> The last time I've played a board game was so long ago... maybe 3-4 years ago. But my favorite board game was surely Monopoly. :'D Uhm... cards. LOL THIS IS SAD. I play cards a lot, but guess what. THE COMPUTER. However, I use real cards too... >_> But, normally that's when my friends and I play poker. I normally lose... but. It's fun. Srsly, though. D< Srsly. I have to completely agree with Aisha Woku. Apparently we have very similar tastes. My favorite board game is life. My favorite card games in this order are Egyptian Ratscrew, Uno (also can be called crazy 8s), and BS.

oh i do that kind of thing all the time!
i mean, how can you not when you have a trampoline? well actually, how can you not, period? i personally hate people who would rather play a video game then go swimming (unless they're sickly) I've only been on the computer so much lately because i'm too sick to have real fun. I admit i absolutely love the sims2, ddr, okami, bully and the like, but if i have a friend over, we WILL do an activity, be it; the trampoline, going to an indoor pool, hanging out outside, walking the dogs, even if it's boring, at least it's outside, lawl! |
I actually just bought a new board game for my self ^_^
Back in the eairly 90's some one produced a board games of one of my favorite fantasy series called Xanth by Piers Anthony. It's actually pretty cool. I've only played it in one player mode so far, but it can be played with up to 6 people. You move around the map which is shaped like florida (but it's not florida it's xanth) and each region has all the places from the fantasy world, castles, golbin land, the faun and nymph retreat.. it's a really cool map. you play as a charactor from the books, and go on wuests around the board. i also own scrabble, but i'm not that good since I can't spell well. |
me and my mates play card games all the time! infact we probably do more games that are none electrical than ones that are.

The last time I played a non electronic game was yesterday. I played chess. I've also played Uno and Apples to Apples recently. Apples to Apples is my favorite game ever! It's really fun, but I don't get to play too often because you need a big group.

I play board games all the time. I used to really like Life, but now I really like triva games and such.

Ever since I got to college, I've started to play a lot more board games. I guess it's because there's not much else to do if you don't want to go out and spend money. Monopoly can keep one occupied for hours and hours, and uno games NEVER end. They are rather entertaining, though. ^^
