Well we tried to pair him with another females from neighbors and all but he never liked anyone ;__;
and yesh go kitties!!! though you can never judge a kitty like " I want a nice sweet one" because that is impossible to predic how they will be hehe mine was adorable as a kitty and now she is all meanie and bites when you want to pet her ehhehe xD anyway we love her and pet her anyways hahahahah |
^_^ Yeah, mine tolerates a certain ammount of harrassing and in his face-ness before he either stalks of or swipe you. He scratched me yesterday infact, but that was because I let him go in the blanket cupboard and then stupidly put my hand there while he was in kamakaze mode. xD I love cats!

That's so sad, I'm sorry for your loss =[
I've lost many pets over the years, but none to any other animals. I don't really like dogs too much except for my dog, she's sweet and the only thing she attacks is me, but she's really nice to other animals. Our cat is good with the little animals, he likes sleeping with my mouse on his head o.o; |
Thankyou I appreciate it.
That cute ^^ predators and prey getting along. |
I'm sorry about your bunny. :(
I hate when owners just let their pets run wherever they want. I'm terrified of dogs, especially the bigger ones which are what they usually let loose. Having some strange dog run up to you out of nowhere is just . |
That's horrible, I'm sorry about your bunny Cherry.
I'm glad my beagle is afraid of other animals (cats in particular) ^-^ or her prey drive might be higher than it is...but knowing that she's a hunter I never have her off leash. Once she gets a smell in her head she thinks about nothing else. Any dog of the hunting class (which the pit bull is not if anyone was curious...there are a lot of misconceptions about the sweet breed) should be leashed- greyhounds, beagles, harrier hounds, basset hounds (though they couldn't run to fast at anything)etc. We have a really good neighbourhood here, everyone leashes their dog. I have yet to see a stray anywhere. From reports I get of some American communities, both here and in a pet blog its a problem there |
Aww, the little bunny. :[ I'm sorry about that. I'm kind of against dogs in general too, because they're smelly, noisy, and jump all over you. But there are some very well-behaved dogs and those are the kind I like. |
Hate the entire species instead of the owner who was supposed to be controlling one dog. Love your logic. =/ Sorry about your rabbit. That's horrible, really, but that's no reason to hold a grudge against an entire species considering the entire species didn't do it.
I always keep my dogs on a leash. Honestly though, I wish they'd make it a law to keep all pets on leashes. I'm so tired of having some stupid neighborhood cat jump in front of my car so I have to slam on brakes. ;.; Luckily, I haven't hit one yet. |
Aww Cherry, I'm so sorry for your loss. :( *hugs*
|
Oh dear,I'm so sorry about that.
Some people don't think about those kind of things. They should have kept the dog with them. u 3u;; My Dogs have gotten rabbits before though. Wild ones, but none the less. My Oldest used to try to play with them. Like ruff around with it,and roll, and pat it. She tried to hold one like it was one of her babies. Dx Yeah, one day she brought one in the house. Poor thing. As she got older she tried her hand at deer. .____. Her hand was pretty good, lets just say. |
I have to say that this was very irresponsible of the dog owner. You have every right to be upset at the owner of the dog and I can understand why you would hate dogs at the moment. I know I would probably end up at the dog owner's house, screaming and raving out in their yard or something ^^;
I wouldn't blame the dog though. These animals evolved in order to survive and part of that has to do with attacking. Some animals are just easier to domesticate than others. |
Aw. Poor bunny. I can understand why you are so upset. The dog owner must be an very irresponsible person, no one here take walks with their dog without a leash, we have to much squirels XD the dogs would get crazy alone without his leash XD.
Anyway, I lost 3 cats and alot of fishes... they all were killed, but by humans... because they weren't very well behaving and my mother always made them "go to sleep" or "take a trip to the cat world where they will live more happily." I wish I could have kept the last one... she was such a good cat T__T But I think I'm too much sensitive XD I nearly cryed when I saw a big tree getting cut down. There'S only a big stump there now and I can't look at it without feeling sad. |
|
sorry for your tragic experience =[
i myself have had pets killed my dogs, sure i was upset about it, but i know that its a part of life to loss something. and i don't hate dogs because of the fact that a few killed a cat, or a rabbit i owned. it's a part of their nature, their animal instinct. especially since these were roaming mutts, not owned by anyone. of course you don't have to like them, but loathing them is rather harsh. there are just animals, not knowing right from wrong. |
It's not the dogs fault, it is the people who weren't holding onto its leash. The dog was just doing what comes naturally and the people walking it were being very irresponsible. I know that doesn't make your loss any less but, you shouldn't be mad at the dog, be mad at the people.
|
Oh damn, I'm so sorry. I know exactly how that feels. I used to live far out in the country and we would get hunting dogs around our house. I had a kitten that was the sweetest thing. A little black and gray tiger striped guy named Siam. I was holding him one day and some dogs came and started barking pretty ferociously. I tried keeping a hold on him but he got loose and climbed a tree. I thought he was safe but one of the dogs actually climbed after him. They tore my poor kitty to shreds. It was so hard. I still have a hard time when I think about it. Yes, people do need to be careful with their dogs. Those were hunting dogs and it was illegal for them to even be on our property without permission.

I've had an incident like that (which I'd rather not go into), and I've known many others who have...however, it doesn't make me hate dogs. It DOES, however, make me hate many dog OWNERS with the fire of a thousand Hells. To any negligent and irresponsible dog owners out there - They make leashes for a REASON, assholes. And it's NOT because they look pretty.
*ahem* That aside...I love dogs. They're great companions when they're trained well enough...and sometimes even when they aren't, as long as you make sure you at least have PHYSICAL control over them. Sometimes they can be stupid...but what animal can't? And I don't hold anything against them for attacking smaller animals...because they are carnivores by nature. When they do that, it's the OWNER'S fault for not teaching them better, or keeping control of them. So while I hate it when that happens...it's the owner that I'll hold a grudge against for the rest of their lives. By the way, any chance of identifying the owners? It was illegal for them to let the dog on your property in the first place, let alone do what it did. You could probably sue them for that. I know it won't bring your bunny back...but it might make you feel better to see the PEOPLE get screwed over by the law. They REALLY don't have a leg to stand on. |
Why you do/dont use a leash.
1. She'd probably chase a deer and I wouldn't be able to get her back. 2. She'd just be annoying because she's hard to control 3. She'd run up to every person she saw. 4. Sorry to say this but my dog probably would have tried to eat your bunny [i have other stories like this one.] I was going to talk to my parents one time when they were in the back yard and I saw that my dog was playing with something. When I walked over I heard the squeaking of a baby bunny. I had to run away because I almost started crying. Any animals you hate and why. Small dogs. They bite your ankles. Other than that I love almost every single animal there is on this planet. Pets you have lost (if you want). I lost my last dog to cancer. She was the sweetest dog in the universe and she probably would have just sniffed the bunny and then walked away. Okay let me change that, she would have been scared of the bunny like she was scared of my cats. I miss her a lot since she only lived to age six and normally dogs of her breed live to be 10 or 12. It makes me feel really jipped when I hear people crying because their thirteen or fourteen year old dog died. Then my sister had a pet bird before and her cat got locked in the room with it. The cat ended up catching the bird by getting it out of the bird cage and eating it. I flipped out when I saw the bird feather strewn over the bathroom floor. I think I cried for a good ten minutes. My sister was upset but she knew that it was the cat's instinct to eat the bird. |
Cherry, I'm truly sorry about your bunny.
I know whats its like to lose a pet you love very much. As for the questions. Yes, I believe every dog should have a leash on when outside around people or even other animals. And no I will never hate a another animal as long as I live. I love them all to much. Even the weird looking ones which I think are kinda funny, but cute in their own way. ^.^ And yes, I have lost many animals. In my whole life I have lost, five animals. One a black cat, one gray cat and the other three are dogs. It pains me to see an animal in pain or even if it has past on. Thats why I hated working for the vet as a kennel person. And in my opinion, some people shouldn't have pets. Why have a pet if your not going to take care of them in the first place, its just stupid to me. Why make the animal suffer when it hasn't done anything to you and it didn't ask to be your pet in the first place? Sorry about that. >.> I guess my point is. I wouldn't hate the animal for being itself. I would however be very angry with the owner for not taking the responsibly for the animal. Since, animals in some ways are like children, they need to be watched, but always respected. |

And thankyou everyone for your kind words. I dont hate all dogs, I can tolerate the nice ones, and I dont mind puppies. I just hate ones that bark, smell jump on you and run free, kill pets, shit on the footpaths. Whiiich is most <.<; But yes, I hate that dog, and it's owners and every other dog on the properties behind and next to me. Might sound silly but alot of the reason I hate dogs is because of their 'instincts'. To Phantom in particular, oh...yes I know the owner and the other girl that was walking with her. Heath Magils girlfriend Karina and Heaths sister Bonnie are responsible. My parents found their number and called them, the dad spoke for them saying how 'sorry' they were (yeah right they didn't even stick around after the dog was chsed away to inspect the damage) and would I like a new rabbit (no), and that he would 'send the girls around to apologise in person'(never happened) I saw heath yesterday, and on the way home he mey up with his sister and Karina, they were walking with Heaths dog, once again not holding the leash. I eventually said "Ahem, perhaps you might like to hold this dogs leash, I still have one rabbit left" before Karina could say anything in her stunned moron silence Heath said, oh no he's harmless. I said "Yea its ok I ws joking" (which I wasn't) and to Nissa- *hugs* =( I'm sorry, thats so terrible. Clockwork- I agree with you *nod* |
i'm so sorry about your bunny<3
i love dogs, and i have a puppy, but i really HATE IT when owners don't use leashes. a lot of dog owners in my neighbourhood don't keep their dogs on leashes when they take them outside their yard. i take my puppy for walks quite often, and these big dogs always run up to her. they're friendly, and they just want to play, but it scares her, because she's TINY. she starts crying and freaking out, and i have to hug her until she stops shaking. so it makes me really angry when people don't keep their dogs on leashes. but i can't even believe these people let their dog go all the way to your yard. i don't even let my dog out of my sight, when we're outside the house/yard. she's always on her leash when we're going for walks. i understand why you hate most dogs though. when i was younger, a coyote got my cat, so i've hated coyotes since then. |
Sorry about your bunny. :'(
My dog killed a lot of animals already. Namely: 4 cats(1 adult, 3 kittens) and a family of birds. But I still love dogs and nothing will ever change to that.. |
Thats so awful.
I know that my niece has experienced her bunnies being taken out of their cages and killed. Its so tragic. Anyways, I highly dislike dogs regardless. I've never been found of them, and I am still scared of the big, rowdy dogs. I have no use for them. I prefer reptiles and amphibians. |
I love dogs, a lot. I am sorry about your bunny though - my neighbor's kittens were killed by a dog and god was I mad! But that didn't change the fact that I love dogs. I'm not completely against not having a leash when you take your dog out, but that totally depends on the dog's type and character. I have a terrier and I take her out without a leash but she doesn't hurt any other animals; she actually gets along with the street cats, they just stare at each other for a while and she sniffs them and leaves. I'm more scared for my dog's safety than the cat's, really! XD It does sadden me when dogs kill, but... Just watch this, maybe this'll make you hate dogs less: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeuy_PBlqz8 |
That's horrible. :\
I lost my cat 7 years ago... In the morning before school. It looked so sad :( I have a yorkie- she weighs 4.5 pounds. We ALWAYS use a leash. |
