I know that they are doing a bit of something so as we get more planned i'm going to talk to them and see if there is going to be a special forum for what they're doing, and we can just do it in there in conjunction, or if they can set up a small forum for us for a few days. We'll see what they decide.
If not we can always just hold it here in the CD |

I've decided to run the art contest. I haven't decided what exactly the prize will be, but rules aren't too hard to do. I won't enter, but I do know good art when I see it. I will work on the info now..

I was thinking and was wondering if you think this is a good idea or not..
Here it goes... So menewsha is a avatar chat site more less. Well why dont you have a contest on who can make the best homemade avatar. You can use anything. you can make it out of paper. You can bake a avatar (that would be cool but hard or it would be for me) You can use anything you want and the more creative the avatar the better chances you would win. Then you would need to either paste your avi that your tring to look alive or use the dream avi thing and that way we can kinda of compare what there making to what it really looks like. You can us anything i mean use some plastic for the wings and get those fake eyes from a hobby store or anything or bake it or just make it from paper but it would have to be like cut out of it not just drawn on the paper but i mean thats for artist but doesnt mean that would be the best creative. If thats a good idea then you can have either the mods choose the winner or the people that are running this thread choose the best and if you like i can come up with a prize or someone else can it doesnt matter to me either way! Not sure if thats a good idea or not i thought of it and it sounded pretty neat to me! |

Anyway, the Drawn Art contest: Rules: 1. Follow the T.O.S 2. No tracing other people's work 3. Art cannot be over pg-13 rating. 4. No stealing other people's artwork. 5. Do your best ^^ What is going to be the subject of the drawing: Yumeh as a human ^^ with cat ears and tail. You can base this off of another person's avatar(Please note that Yumeh has blue eyes, black ears and tail) The drawing can be chibi, realistic, anime, etc. It can be done digitally painted or digitally made as well. I don't know if yumeh is male or female, so you can do either. Prizes: Currently undecided. ~~~ Does this sound good? |

I don't think we need a prize mule. What i was thinking was just everyone post what you want to donate to the prize pool and i will put the item and name up on the front page (check, i updated it a bit ago) and then we will decide which items will be distributed to which contests. Then after the contests are held and we have our winners, we will just send them a trade from whichever person has the item in question. Except for non-staff people or whatever that are wanting to donate. Those people should send their items to one of the staff here or something. What do you guys think? |
Actually, If you give me the assigned prizes to me, trust me, they'll be lost in my inventory, same with my mule xD *has 3-4 pages in main and 3 pages in mule's inventory* :lol:

Last I heard, shared accounts - even mules - aren't allowed, so I don't think a prize mule would be accepted. :D
We can just keep track of what we are willing to donate and... well.. donate it when the time comes. XD |
