I wasn't playing this game, but, I was seeing my brother playing it at night with really loud volume, and it creeped the heck out of me. The game is Fatal Frame. I don't like scary movies cause I get scared easily, and that game felt like a movie >_<

I can't decide between Resident Evil 4 and every other game that was meant to scare it's player in some way.
I'm such a chicken. I remember trying to play Resident Evil 4 on the Wii, and my hand trembled so badly at the first encounter with a Spaniard(?) I couldn't even aim my pistol thing. v.v |
One scene I found rather scary was in Final Fantasy 7... they're trapped in the ShinRa building, and the doors to their cells unlock... and then they creep outside and there's blood splattered everywhere and everyone's dead, and Jenova's head is missing. And Sephiroth, regardless of my disapproval of his bishy boy icon status, scares the sh*t out of me by the fact that he single handedly impales a Midgar Zolom on a TREE. And at that point in the game I couldn't even beat him with THREE people. lol
There are two scenes, which I basically find to be the same in the Metal Gear Solid series. It starts with blood painted up and down the hallway and multiple corpses of highly trained soldiers or SEALs or whatever... In Metal Gear Solid, it was sort of the introduction of Grey Fox, that cyborg ninja. In MGS2 they take it even further, and show Vamp in mid massacre. And that one at the end got it REAL bad. Talk about overkill. Slice, stab, slash, cut, THROATSLIT, DRINK BLOOD. heh... pwned. |
Reseident Evil is my all time favorite game.
It scared me at 1st but I've played it though soooooo many times I remember where everything is. I think the 1st game that comes to mind that scared the shit out of me was Doom 3. The noises and what not are freaky. |
I think as for games that creeped me out had to have been the Fatal Frame series, I mean the creepiness of the staggering images and the creatures that pop out of nowhere and all you have is this effing camera, not to mention you have to know how to turn really quick. I remember FF:2 Crimson Butterfly, THOSE EFFING TWINS in that two foot room >.< ARGH.
I know the first Silent Hill creeped me out...Actually most of them did SOLEY for the fact of the legs. Those damn things and there odd enticing movements >.< I love Pyramid head. I would so bang him >.> I would die but thats besides all points >.< What else creeped me out. F.E.A.R creeped me out because it has the same movements like Fatal Frame. Hmmm What else did it for me. OH BIOSHOCK. SCREW YOU BIOSHOCK. THOSE EFFING LITTLE SISTERS AND ALL THOSE DAMN CRAZY MUTANT PEOPLE WHO COME AT YOU FROM NO WHERE AND MAGICALLY HAVE ROCKET LAUNCHERS >.< SCREW YOU. That game makes me violent o.- Oh An Onimusha. But only for the one part when your in the house, and there is that creepy little doll, when you walk in the room and then poof its gone and your like WTF Mate. So you leave and next thing you know you hear laughing and this doll APPEARS OUT OF NOWHERE WITH FANGS AND CLAWS AND KILLS YOU. ARGH Yeah, that about does it for me.[/list] |
Silent hill 3 that game was freaky.

I was scared of the Bottom of the Well in the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time when I was like... eight.
I was scared of the Redeads. They still sort of freak me out and it's been nearly ten years. Even the Redeads in the Wind Waker scared me and that game was all cartoony (but still a pretty good game). Of course, I've never really played much else other than Zelda, so I suppose I can't give you a really good opinion of what's been scary. |
