My latest drawings - Updated Nov. 21!
*edits on Nov. 21*
So as not to clutter up the forum, I'll update this post. Here are my latest drawings, going along with my practice at emulating real media. :] http://www.bentkey.net/art/purplewhisp.jpg More pencil. http://www.bentkey.net/art/birrrds.jpg Using the pastel tool. http://www.bentkey.net/art/musica.jpg Pen and watercolor tool. original post: http://www.bentkey.net/art/crossdhat.jpg Like the title says(it used to say "Emulating Pencil Work"), I noticed the other day I like my pencil and paper work a lot better than my digital has been turning out lately, so I worked in painter today to see how I could get the same type of work in digital as on paper. It worked, because it turns out I've simply been putting too much pressure on my pen when working with my tablet. I guess stress has been taking its toll on my art and I hadn't even noticed. Anyway, this is a drawing of a person wearing a hat I did to test out the skill, and I hope to post more things I make digitally that resemble my pencil work from now on. I'm very excited! I guess I'm not just getting worse, just fell into a rut. :D |
