"I see. Sorry if I'm picking at your hair, there are some yummy bug in there, so I couldn't resist." Izumi said as she finished eating all the bugs.

She shook out her hair "Now I remember why I stopped coming here..." She grumbled to herself.

"I'm sorry." Izumi said. "Why is your friend afraid?" Izumi stared at the rabbit.

"Probably because she is a tiny bunny that has no way to protect herself and you are a full grown hawk sitting a few feet away from her." She said, petting Amore.

"Sorry little bunny I won't eat you so don't worry." Izumi said. "So, how are you Viti?"

She thought a moment "...scared..." She said, staring off into the forest but not moving.

"Scared of what?" Izumi asked.
|
"Well I thought Akagi was the only one who could talk to you, and it's not every day a hawk decided to land on your shoulder and have a conversation with you..." She said looking at Izumi.

"Well, I'm special." Izumi said.

"Oh..." She said quietly "So what's with Akagi? I saw him wandering around earlier and when he saw me he turned and walked the other way..." She said, a little upset.

"He wants to be your friend but he has a feeling that you hate him. I don't know that's my guess." Izumi said.

She rolled her eyes "See, this is exactly why I'm not social, why is it that everyone thinks I hate them? Am I really that mean? Geeze he needs to learn how to take a joke!" She complained.

"You don't look mean, I wonder if you looked at Master in a harsh way, or said something to him, I don't know." Izumi said. "I just want to see what will happen in the end. I'm excited, this is like a drama special on tv." Izumi giggled.

She laughed "Why do I always meet the people that can't take a joke?"

"Most humans are serious about things." Izumi said. "For Master, if he ever joked in front of his teachers he'd be severely punished, I guess his seriousness stuck with him."

She scrunched her nose and stuck out her tongue "Seriousness is boring" She complained like a child.

"I'm hoping you fix that part about him, make him learn if you have to. Try not to torture too badly though, remember he's not too good around girls, you might have to soften him up a bit." Izumi said with a giggle, "Think of it as a fun game to play."

She sighed "I don't think it is such a good idea for us to be on the same island...but I con't tell you why because you'll tell him and then he'll kill me..." Then she started walking again.

"Oh don't worry, I'm a very secretive bird, I never tell secrets except my Master's sometimes when I'm really happy, which I am!!" Izumi said.

She sighed "Oh, I'm pretty sure anyone would tell him this. I have to go now, could you tell him that I've left, please?" She nearly begged Izumi as she turned around, hoping it would give her long enough to leave.

"Ooooh please don't leave the island, Master will go away instead so you can stay, I'll just tell him, that he can't see you anymore and that he should just fight the wizards alone, I just hope Master is strong enough to stop them....bye, we'll leave for good so you can stay here." Izumi said as she left.

She sighed shakily "W-wait...he...he can't ever de-defeat all of them...I-I'm the o-only one that ummm that c-can d-de-def-defeat...th-the last one..." She stuttered. Her hands were shaking with her words as she finished "B-be-because...." She paused, debating if she should trust Izumi, then decided to tell her "I am the last wizard..." She whispered, unsure if she would even hear her.

Izumi was too far to hear Viti's words. Izumi went to the shelter to see if Akagi was there. He wasn't at all. Izumi stayed til Akagi came back.

She ran back to Argento and screamed "GO!" He did as he was told with no questions. She could see Izumi waiting for Akagi to come back but she couldn't spot Akagi. She supposed he was in part of the thicker jungle.

Akagi walked into a cave in the jungle. "Hmm, interesting. I'll explore this cave, maybe there is something worth getting here." Akagi said.
