Ooohhhh! Hana Kimi! i'm a huge fan of the manga series, I even have the artbook! it's just lovely! I love Nanba! xDD Too bad I still haven't have the chance to watch the TV series... I've seen some pictures though... DUnno, they doesn't seem that appealing to me (ah! don't kill me!) maybe because I really like the art in the original manga, and lately the drama in Japan specially those aimed for teens or adaptation from manga are played by actors who're not real actors but popular boy band's members and young idols who only look good but bad at acting. Well, I hope Hana Kimi TV series isn't liek that though, since I'm expecting to watch it soon, maybe by borrowing my friend's vcd. :P I'll come back later after I get my hand on that and watch a couple of the episodes. :wink: |
I loved the Japanese version,
the other one kind of through me off o.O If you liked Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, you should check out Hana Yori Dango ^__^ It was awesome and there are 2 seasons and now a movie in the making <3 Oguri Shun is in it too, he is a decent actor imho. |
Loved the manga, absolutely hated the drama. What a lousy job, I disagreed with most of the casting and wtf, why was sano such a mean guy? He isn't like that in the manga.
I liked shun as rui in HYD, but he was so awful as sano. I only saw the first two eps, I couldn't stand watching anymore of the show that ruined the manga like that. |
Actually I'm watching the japanese drama right now xDD;;
I'm on episode 3. I have read the manga and watched the taiwanese drama as well. Personally, over the three of them, the manga is the best. As for the dramas, I kind of like the japanese version better, except I feel like it's kind of rushed. |

What's wrong with the tawainese one? :evil: lol jk jk.. I like BOTH of them..I think BOTH of them are funny..I think the japanese ending one is kind of weird lol..in a good way though! I heard from my cousin that there's going to be a sequel for hana kimi the japanese version.. :roll:

I have only seen the Taiwanese verison. And they had to stop filming in the middle of it because Ella had promo things she had to do with S.H.E. ...or at least that is what I read a year ago. They were going to make another season of it but I have heard nothing about it. Oh well...I really didnt like her as Mizuki Ashiya anyways. (cant remember what they changed her name to in the drama)
