The one word I would pick would probably be "hi". It is easy to understand and when I talk to people, at least I would be polite and say hi to them.
Or maybe "obnoxious". Since I use it a lot already. I think a lot of what my dad does and some other people are very obnoxious. |
I would just say GAH! people seem to pay more attention wehn you say GAH in there face hundreds of tims over.

Mine would be Meow because i do meow and my fieance can understand me.. my mom some times... and it would get me out of answering the phone at work.

I think that I would rather not say any words at all....because i would feel even more stupid if I said only one word for the rest of my life, so I'll just stick with not talking at all. ^^

I'd say either Kyuu or Nyaa. They're not words, but I say them an awful lot, and in 15 different tones to amplify my mood or degree of agreement. [:

well it's hard to think of only one word to use for the rest of my life, figuring that i have to do exit interviews and entrance interviews in june, i could say, hello but that would be confusing, and ordering food would be hard...

If I could only use one word... That's hard to say really. I consider myself a writer, I study the language and try to find different words for a variety of different situations. Not to mention I'm studying German, Latin, Japanese and intend to study Russian...
So when I'm trying to find words to expand my vocabulary... finding a word to shorten my vocabulary throws my train of thought off. Heh, you'd figure it would make it easier to find such a versatile word... but it doesn't the way my mind works. Then again, why would I need a word to communicate everything? Why not just a word I enjoy? I'd have to agree with a few others I've seen post. If I were to pick only one word, it would have to be Love. I use the word more often than any other word, (not in a literal sense of course) and it's a word I have never and could never get sick of. Love, it's so simple, yet it says so much... and it's soft on the tongue as well, just a slight flick of the tongue and you've said it... Amazing how 8 years ago I used to struggle with the word =) |

I figured it out! I know what I would say! Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! (sp?)
It would be super special awesome because I could shorten it or say random parts of the word and still have an abundant vocabulary. No it's not a real word and doesn't have much meaning besides being used in Marry Poppins but at least it's something. XD |
