Viento nodded slightly. In all honesty he didn't want to go back to his house. He ran away when he was 8 for a reason. "Once we drop off Hide, I'd like to get Sapphire and Aires and head back to America."
Jade moved his attention From Hide to Viento. "Okay." He smiled at home. It must be hard for Viento to be back here. The idea crossed Jade's mind that they could take Hide with them. He would have loved to take him. Not only was he a small Viento, but he was just about Topaz's age. He wanted to be with his own brother so badly, Hide was a small way of accomplishing that. |
Once Hidrogeno was done eating, his mouth clean, Jade offered him a little treat. Viento's eyes widened as the prized chocolate was given to his little brother. Noticing the begging expression, Jade provided him with one too.
The two brothers let the sweet chocolate melt in their mouth. Hidrogeno elevated Jade to an angel. Who else would be so generous? |
Viento and Jade took Hide with them as they walked towards Viento's old house.
Jade held Viento's arm and Hide's hand. "He reminds me of Topaz. I'd love to take him home with us. He can visit can't he?" Viento blinked, so that was the reason he treated Hide that way. "We'll see." |
That response was terse but reassuring. It wasn't a no. Viento would think about it. Jade smiled. He released his hold on both boys' hands and took off his sunglasses to place on Hide's face.
"You look cool," Jade chuckled. Hidrogeno blinked from the instant change in light. |
"I DO?" He giggled, he glanced at Viento. "Just like Hermano?"
"You wish." Viento smirked. "Even better!" Jade teased lightly and kisses Hide's cheek. Viento gasped. "What? What?" "I'm kidding!" They stopped walking once they arrived at Viento's house. Viento stared at the building before kneeling right in front of Hide. He looked him in the face and sighed. "I'm glad meet you." "I'm glad to meet you." "I'm glad to meet you." Hide repeated the proper way of saying the sentence. Viento kept staring at him. Maybe he would take him with them after all. |
Jade watched the brothers, deciding it was best not to intervene. Neither had had a chance to spend time with each other before this. He clasped his hands and stayed away, watching to see whether his wish would get answered. A part of him didn't want to let go of Hide just like how he didn't want to let little Viento go years ago.

Viento glanced back at the house he grew up in. No one deserved to stay like that. Since Jade had specifically requested Hide visit, maybe this would be alright. He reached into his pocket and took out his wallet. He pulled out the money he had in it from his allowance from Ricardo. He jotted a note to Brisa that he was taking Hide and would be sending more money to her. Viento folded the amount and offered the wad to Hide. "Take this to Brisa's window, knock on it and give it to her. ONLY to her. Understand? If you don't do it right, I'll tan your backside worse than Mami." He wouldn't, but the threat got HIde running quickly to do what he asked.

Jade watched, somewhat confused by the action. He didn't interject for an explanation and followed the sight of the boy rushing to a bedroom window to knock upon it. Brisa opened the window and stared at the wad shoved into her face.
Aire had been walking around the living room when she stopped dead in her tracks. There was a scent of something sweet in the air... |
Viento waited for his brother to come back. Brisa read the note and kept silent. She didn't want to alert any of the other people in the house about what was going on. She doubted anyone would notice Hide wasn't there for a long while. Brisa kissed Hide's head before letting him go so he could go back to Viento.
Viento shoved Hide towards Jade when he came back. Hide nearly tripped as he was pushed to Jade. "Let's get going home." Viento said with a wink at Jade. "Hide's going to stay with us, if that's alright." Jade smiled and took Hide's hand. "Sounds perfect!" |
Sapphire didn't speak during the taxi ride back to the hotel. His gaze was fixated at the scenery they passed while his mind was homesick. Unable to keep his mind off of the reunion between Aires and his mother, he knew what he wanted to do. He would visit Ioli Li...It had been too long since he had seen her last.

The taxi arrived at the hotel. Once they were inside their room Marisol looked out the window. It had been so long since she set foot outside the walls of the convent. "Aires, I don't want to see Enrique looking the way I do."
"You're beautiful." She sighed some. "You say that because you're my son and you have no idea what a beautiful woman is because you've been surrounded by old ladies all your life. Of course I look good compared to them, but he married Esperanza." "But he was in love with you too. The very first thing he noticed was the resemblance to you." "To me?" She laughed. "You mean the resemblance to your uncle." "That...too." "I can't see him looking like a nun, with no make up on." "Would this make you happy?" "VERY." Aires walked over to Sapphire. "I'm going to get a few things for my mother. I'll take her to change, see Enrique, then we can go." |
Sapphire nodded shortly. Without much thought or a word, he took out his wallet and handed it to Aires. He had little use for cash. And he assumed that the faster they were able to purchase things without looking at the price, the sooner they would be out of Mexico.

Aires took the wallet with a promise to himself that he would pay Sapphire back. He headed off to the stores near by with his mother. Marisol smiled and headed out with him. She was all too eager to spend money on clothes and make up for her to look her best. She changed and applied make up in the stores to cut on time.
Once they were finished shipping and she was comfortable with how she looked they headed towards Enrique's house. Marisol held Aires' hand tightly. SHe was so nervous to see him. She was sure time would have been nice to his face. He would be gorgeous for a lifetime. Her eyes carried over the house Aires said was where Enrique lived. She nearly smiled at it's shabby conditions. Enrique had married Esperanza for the money he said. Now look at where they lived. She must not have been as rich as he thought she was. She could have laughed. Fate had been cruel to him. He got what he deserved for using her and then leaving her. "I don't need to see him." She was sure with the meager conditions he was living in that he would look equally as meager. "Are you sure?" Marisol wanted to remember Enrique for the little bit of dignity he showed when they had been together. Not for the thin thing that would have lived here. "I'm fine. I don't want to see him." She smiled and headed back to the taxi. Aires shook his head. His mother was so fickle. It must be a side-effect from being in the convent for so long. He got into the taxi with her and headed back to Sapphire. Aires directed the taxi to wait with his mother in it. He went up the stairs to the hotel room and brought Sapphire back to the taxi. The two moved inside next to Marisol and directed the taxi to drive them back to the airport so they could get back to America. The plane ride was quite. Sapphire still was not in a talking mood. AIres was thinking over the events of Mexico, and Marisol was thinking of Enrique and how great it was that he was living in poverty. Not very nun like of her, but still......it's what he deserved. |
Jet looked over the pictures, quite flushed. This was so unlike him. His pale body, molded into a fit shape, was rarely seen outside of his suits. Yet here it was, exposed. The photographer captured parts of him even he hadn't paid attention himself. He swallowed hard. A little paranoia began surfacing. These photos couldn't get out. If the public saw them and recognized who he was, not only would he not be able to walk around in peace, but Lapis Li would kill him. Such a shameful display. He quickly flipped past the one where the photographer had gotten him to open his legs some. God, what would his mother say if she knew?!
Miguel smiked as he watched him. "Hot, huh?" "It's all you." "No, not at all." A hand grazed over his abdomen, exposed thanks to his unbuttoned shirt. Jet flushed brighter from the sensation. Miguel loved it. If he wasn't a virgin, he was pretty darn close. Such a shame such a jewel had gone unappreciated for so long! "You're really hot." |
"I'm thinking you should come to my place tonight."
Miguel smirked slowly. "I want to get to know you much better." |
Jet was thrilled. "I'll cook you dinner. What would you like?"
You on a platter. "Just you." Miguel felt over his backside, grasping the opportunity. He waited for some dissent and received none. Perfect. |
Hide gasped at the vastness of the building Jade and Kaze brought him to.
"Welcome to your new home." Jade lead Hide inside the apartment. The white carpet and furnishings were nearly an overload. Hide couldn't keep his happy excamations of how clean and white everything was to himself. "Dont' get it dirty." Viento interjected. "It's fine, Hide." Jade lead him towards a room that Hide would be staying in. |
Jade opened the door to one of the guest rooms. "This is all yours."
"Mine?" Hidrogeno stared at it before looking up at him. The carpeted room was furnished with a bed, dresser, closet, desk, and window. It was undecorated except for a soccer ball in the corner. "Mhmm." Jade stepped away to get some sheets and blankets. The room was unused except for when his little brother sneaked over to "sleep over at a friend's house." Hide barely moved except to breathe. He trailed after Jade when he returned to fix the bed. "All mine?" "Would you like to sleep with Viento?" he teased. Viento overheard this well. NO WAY was Hide going to wedge himself in between Jade and himself! "No!" Jade ignored him. "If it'd make you more comfortable, you can stay with us. I'll bet it's a little scary being away from home." Scary, exciting, it was everything he couldn't have dreamed of. He didn't even know Viento existed until he appeared out of thin air. Smoothing out the bedspreads, the older boy continued. "We need to go shopping for you. New clothes and everything." He pictured the toys and other goodies to humor the child. "Don't spoil him!" Viento chimed in. He had trotted over. "He's dirty too." Jade was well aware that under all those sniping comments, Viento loved his little brother. Why else would he take him all the way to America? |
Hide kept looking over the room. He had never been in a room so big. He was unsure if he would be able to sleep or not. The question at the tip of his tongue was one he was sure Viento would reprimand him for.iend He had to be a strong boy after all, there was no room for a chicken. Still, he needed to know. "Are there ghosts in here?"
Jade smiled and walked over to Hide. He kneeled down in front of him and placed a loving hand on his head. "There aren't. " "Sure?" "Well, how about we be on look out duty. We can all stay in this room together and make sure." Hide smiled. "I'd love that!" |
"Are you hungry?"
Hide nodded. He had snacked on the jet ride here, savoring the sweets he had never tried before the chocolate. Viento had watched, envious of how attentive Jade was with his little brother. But he let him. It made Jade happy. "Let's go shopping now. Get you a few things and buy some food." Jade offered a hand that Hide promptly took. They smiled and headed out, Viento keeping up. The younger Caluroso marveled over the sights of the city. His white eyes traveled briskly from the cars on the street, the people walking on the sidewalks, to the goods in the glass windows. When they passed the candy shop, both his older brother and him had planted themselves against the glass. Jade promised them a bag each on the way back. At the grocery store, the necessities were gathered first. Jade let him pick the color of his toothbrush, the flavor of toothpaste, and other odds and ends. Viento inserted little comments, saying how the purple was gay - which he quickly retracted, knowing how much he adored the hue of Jade's eyes. The food was next and finally, they were at the checkout line. The brunet only let Hide's hand go once to retrieve his credit card. The boy felt overwhelmed by everything and stayed close to the two, never straying further than two steps. |
Mateo moved his pen between his long fingers as Carlos Caluroso made yet another plea for Mateo to come back to Mexico and marry the girl he had picked out for him. Before Carlos was finished talking, Mateo had hung up on him. His red eyes glanced towards the doorway where KT stood.
"Are you going to stand there all day and eavesdrop?" "Making sure you're not talking to girls." KT walked over to Mateo at his desk. In one smooth motion he sat on the corner and crossed his long legs. Mateo glanced towards his backside. KT smirked. Mateo was heavily checking him out, no one could resist themselves around him. Mateo was so hot for him. "Move. You're sitting on papers that are worth more than you." KT's smirk turned into a frown, his calm voice turned loud and high pitched. "JERK!" The sudden outburst recieved a low laugh from Mateo. "Moodswings, that usually meant it was my mother's time of the month." KT's hand moved to contact with Mateo's cheek. Not only had he called him a girl, he called him moody. Mateo's hand caught KT's wrist. "Don't make me leave you for my wife." "Wife?" "My Papi has a woman picked out for me to marry. I've rejected him many times." The strong grasp on KT's wrist turned into gentle carresses of KT's hand. The switch turned KT's cheeks a hue of red. "Is that what he called about?" "Yes, and I've refused him again. Watch yourself." Mateo smirked. "I could easily change my mind." Before KT could retort with a snide comment. Mateo's lips kissed the hand he held. "Would you like to come with me while I handle business? It turns out there's a few roaches from Mexico that slinked into America." "Roaches?" "You're still on my papers." KT tilted to the side so Mateo could retrieve them from underneath him. Since he was tilting so far to the side Mateo seized this opportunity and shoved KT off his desk. He knew the action would make KT furious, he knew he'd start trying to hit him. That's what he loved, that fire in KT that showed no fear towards him. When KT did move to punch him, Mateo pulled him onto the desk to show him how much he loved that fire. ~~~ As Morgan and Fuego sat silently together. Fernando watched Paraiba each time he moved Fernando's lips curled into a smirk. No one was that gorgeous where he was from, other than himself and his brother. Morgan said he would set something up, he couldn't wait for that chance. Paraiba dissapeared from sight. Dissapointing, thought Fernando. He heard a feminine laugh from accross the room. Ah, that's right. He had nearly forgotten about Mogan's mother. She was beautiful too. The distance she sat from her husband caused Fernando's eyebrow to raise. He wouldn't have allowed her to sit so far from him. He would have pulled that gorgeous woman onto his lap and held her close. Spinel wasn't treating her right, not the way she deserved to be worshipped in every way imaginable. Fernando turned and glanced at his son and Morgan smiling together. He didn't want to upset Morgan or his son, but her beauty convinced him that it would be alright. He started his usual routine. Fernando kept his eyes on her and a smirk on his lips. He was waiting for her to glance over so he could wink to let her know he was appreciating her even if her husband wasn't. |
Topaz paced before Jade's apartment door. He had slammed his palm against the doorbell repeatedly, trying to get his attention. Why wasn't his brother answering? It was hard getting away from home. He had to pretend he had friends. Ruby Yu wanted to know the boy's name, a phone number and where he lived. The general vicinity of this "Cody" would tell her whether he was worthy of having her precious little boy stay over. She was born a Li and didn't want scum talking to him.
Friends? Please. As if anyone was that cool. He would have brought over little Jasper, but the toddler had taken a liking to hiding in closets. He was in too much of a hurry to hunt for him and take him all the way here. Topaz banged his fists on the door. |
Viento and Hide smiled happily, both reaching into their candy bags and pulling out pieces of chocolate. They popped them in their mouths simultaneously. Jade wanted to take a picture. It was so cute how similar they were, and how they moved exaclty the same way as if they were twins separated at birth.
Jade's eyes moved from his companions to Topaz standing at his door. He walked over silently and scooped up his brother into his arms. Topaz was ready to fight back, but the loving embrace was easily identified as Jade's. "Where have you been?" Viento blinked his eyes when Jade picked up the orange haired child. To any untrained eye it was easy to see that Jade and Topaz both had violet eyes that ran in the family, but to Viento he could tell what the difference was. Jade's eyes were calm and serene, there were shades of light and deep violet so dark and calm that it was like midnight blue colors of a sea at night. Topaz's however, were full of life and fire. Viento smirked, that boy's violet eyes had red fire in them. Viento headed over to the pair. "This must be Topaz." |
Topaz looked over, surprised by the mention of his name by a voice with such a thick accent. "Yeah."
Jade gave Topaz's head a quick kiss before he released him reluctantly. "You can stay?" "Yeah, two days." Jade was glad. It had been a couple months since he had seen his younger brother last. He swore he had grown, and he told him. Topaz proudly announced with a smirk he did indeed grow two inches. "Topaz, I'd like you to meet Viento and Hidrogeno. Viento knew you when you were just a baby." "Nuh uh." Viento smirked. He had finished swallowing a melted chocolate in his mouth. "Definitely did. Jade used to change your diapers," he teased. |
Topaz shook his head announcing he NEVER wore diapers because he's always been mature.
Viento laughed and knelt down. "Now that you're old enough..." He reached into his bag and offered Topaz a chocolate piece. Jade was about to interject that sugar might not be the best thing to give Topaz, but it was too late. Topaz had taken and eaten the chocolate before Jade could open his mouth to speak against it. Viento laughed and felt through Topaz's hair. Hide had walked up behind Jade and taken his hand. The loud boisterous boy reminded him so much of the people who teased him for having such weird colored eyes. Not even the poor children wanted to play with him no matter how many times he asked to join in their game of futbol. Topaz noticed Jade's hand holding another's. Possessiveness took over. "Who's that?" |
