Fuego nodded his head. "We grew up together till he was 8. Then he ran away from home. We met up again a few years later until he ran away again just a few months ago. He wanted to come to America."
"Wow, he must be doing really well for himself." Fuego wasn't surprised to hear Viento on the radio in America at all. He was destined for greatness, he knew that. "He's in love with a boy named Jade. A huge void in his heart that even I couldn't fill." |
"Jade?"
Fuego nodded. "They sang together." "No way." "He would talk about him so much. Viento was...obsessed with him." "Jade's my cousin." Morgan began piecing a timeline together. Jade had sang with a little boy his age for a few years. And then there was that period of time when he became mute and wasted away. His cousin Sapphire wouldn't explain why, for even he was enduring some kind of issue. "Let's go see them." |
It was amazing how easy it was to see all of these people. The rich and the famous all hung out together apparently.
"I would love to see them. I want to meet the person Viento was in love with." Morgan pulled out his phone to dial Jade to tell them he wanted to visit. Jade was frequently busy working, they had to make sure he was avaliable to see people. |
The two little boys were enjoying a quieter moment. Watching an action movie. Every now and then Topaz's voice would squeal out with a "COOL!" as buildings or cars exploded. Hidrogeno would chip in his vocal amazements. But otherwise, Jade and Viento had their time to hold hands and occasionally lock lips.
The two felt Jade's cell phone go off. Viento refused to move off first, but relented as the cell was flipped open. "Hello?" "Sugar, it's been awhile." "...who is it?" Viento asked, growing jealous. Jade smiled. "My cousin," he said softly. "Hey Morgan." "Ah, someone's there, huh?" The rose haired youth began teasing him. "Would that person be Viento?" The brunet propped himself up. Viento moved off to lay on his side. "How did you know?" "Can I meet Viento?" "Sure. We're at my place." "Fabulous. I'll see you in a bit." Click. |
Viento stood up and started fixing his clothes when Jade mentioned his cousin was coming. He hoped the visit wouldn't last long.
"Is your cousin as gorgeous as you are?" Jade smiled. "He's very attractive. I'm sure he'll flirt with you. I'll have to be careful." Teasingly Jade nudged up against him. Viento took this opportunity to wrap his arms around Jade to lay a light kiss on his forehead. THey parted away from one another when the doorbell rang. Jade walked the distance to the door and opened it. The first thing Viento noticed was the amount of pink. BLINDING! He walked over to stand next to Jade and Jade was pulled into a hug. Viento's eyes widened when the door opened wider to reveal his cousin Fuego. "Fuego?" "I heard some gay guy singing on the radio, thought I recognized the girly voice." Fuego smirked slowly. Viento's fist met his cousins arm as he gave it a punch. "What are you doing here?" He knew something more important than that question. Excitedly he pulled Jade from his cousin and presented him. "This is my Jade!" |
Jade provided a smile. "It's nice to meet you." He was thrilled to meet more of Viento's family.
"You didn't tell me your cousin was so adorable," Morgan commented, teasing Fuego. "Adorable?" choked Viento. "Isn't he?" Jade laughed. Two little heads had poked out from behind their brothers, watching and listening. Fuego paused at the sight of little Viento and his white eyes. |
Fuego looked over Hidrogeno. "Who's this Viento?"
Viento smirked a little. "He's my little brother." "He has fantastic hair." "He's a small clone." "That's why he's adorable." Fuego reached over to touch Viento's cheek. "I'm so glad you found your Jade. You don't know how much he talked about you, Jade. It was all I heard." |
"Now what are you doing here, little terror?"
Topaz slapped Morgan's approaching hand quickly. It was just inches from touching his ruffled mess of hair. He muttered "queer" and scampered over to hide by Hidrogeno. He enjoyed playing the game of "stealth," especially after watching the action movies. Jade promptly begged Morgan and Fuego to go to dinner with them. A nice restaurant with plenty of secrecy to shield celebrities from the paparazzi. |
Fuego looked at Morgan to see what his answer would be.
Morgan gave a smile. "Fabulous, we'd love to." Viento raised a brow a moment. "So you're both..dating?" Fuego smirked some. "More than that. I love Morgan." |
Morgan blushed, savoring the sound of that phrase. Fuego's accent improved it. So very much.
*** The six entered the restaurant. The two boys were toying around, playing a game of shoving - with Topaz doing the shoving and Hide shielding himself. Viento let the game go, despite Jade's reprimands to his little brother for being so rough. The older Caluroso wanted his little brother to learn how to defend himself. From Jade's perspective, Hide was far too nice to hit Topaz. Not that he should, of course. Once the name dropped, the maitre'd scurried to get the group seated at once. You don't let a movie star suffer the two hour wait! Their inexperience with subtlety drew immediate attention from other patrons. |
Bobby White immediately looked over when the attention from him was taken away and directed towards the group coming in. His eyes widened when a mop of Violet hair was seated down at the table. He rose from his seat and walked over.
"There you are you .........................................." The curse words were there, he wanted to shout them. But at the seat beside Fuego was Morgan Li. His riches were far more vast than his own. He couldn't be seen doing improper things in front of someone like him. His throat was cleared before he started again. "What are you doing here?" |
Before Fuego could speak, Morgan asked, "You know him?" The question was vague and both Bobby White and Fuego were unsure who he had directed it to.
Hats and sunglasses were removed from the two singers now that they were "safe." Topaz promptly swiped his brother's disguise and put them on. He proceeded to crawl under the table to harass people's legs. Namely, Hide's. |
Hide squealed when Topaz's hands grabbed at his legs. He giggled when they were tickled by them too. "Table monster!" He giggled as he shrieked out the words.
Viento watched the scene with Bobby, Fuego, and Morgan. He knew who Bobby White was and how much control he had over his cousin Fuego. Bobby smirked some at Morgan. "Fuego is....a long time personal friend, boyfriend, worker for my parents. I sent him out to get me a paper.....never came back. That means he's a run away too." He gave a snap of his fingers. "Come home now." |
Topaz continued the game before he popped out from under the table, a big grin on his face. "You like chocolates?"
Hide nodded. "They have a lot over there." He pointed randomly, just to suggest that it wasn't there at their table. He had dined here before, and he was well aware of the large crystal fountain containing enough sweets to rot him down to the bone. It was placed there solely to quiet the spoiled rich kids by inspiring them and their parents to shove sweets into their mouths. Topaz held Hide's hand and took off to investigate the bounty. Morgan kept silent. Fuego was a boyfriend. He didn't own him - and if the Whites had employed him, they didn't own him either. Running away? Why, he just terminated his employment with them. As for the boyfriend...he knew Fuego would want no part of being with Bobby from their talks. His violet eyes swung over to hear what Fuego wanted. He wanted him to turn away his ex. |
Bobby reaches his hand over to lay on Fuego's shoulder. "Raf?"
Fuego's eyes avoided him as much as they could, he tried to focus on items on the table to keep his eyes of Bobby. If they had stayed on him he wouldn't have been able to turn him down. As it was the words wouldn't come out of him. His mind turned to the brush of Morgan's leg against his own. He looked up at Morgan's gorgeous face. "I'm with Morgan. I love him. I'm not going back with you, Bobby." Bobby White was agahst. So much so that his pale skin turned nearly transparent. He had NEVER been turned down before, and here before everyone important in America he was being turned down by some gutter trash. His jaw set as he said "you'll be sorry" with infurated spite. |
((I totally know that was you talking...not Rafaga...))
A smirk spread Morgan's lips as he watched Bobby White leave. He placed the glass of water to his lips, sipping. "He's a jerk...I won't let him hurt you again." The smirk washed into a pleasant smile once he turned to Fuego, squeezing his hand with confidence. "Promise you." The two little boys in the meantime had shoved their faces with the candies. They ducked when adults passed, even though the staff were well aware they were there. They giggled, thinking they were so slick to get what they wanted without being yelled at. |
((NOOO that was totally him! hahah))
Carlos had been watching the four from the moment they left Jade's house. He was there because he didn't trust his stupid minions to bring Fuego back to justice. To his prison in Mexico under the care of Mario, a known brothel owner. This little pink haired brat had taken him from Mexico and brought him here. Carlos was going to bring him back, but he didn't expect Viento Caluroso to be here. Viento was another of Mario's runaway prisoners that Carlos had ALLOWED him to have. Viento wasn't just anyone. Viento was the son of Esperanza Caluroso. The woman Carlos had loved since they were teenagers. Sadly, she had married Carlos' older playboy brother Enrique Caluroso. Carlos had still spent the majority of his life trying to prove to Esperanza that he was the better brother and that she had made a mistake. His attention turned from the table when Topaz and Hide ducked behind his own table as they were avoiding adults. The black hair, white eyes............Carlos blinked. It was his Esperanza's features. White eyes were Esperanza's family trait that was passed on just as the Caluroso's Red ones were. It only took a quick motion and flick of his wrist to signal the guards to take Hide and Topaz with barely a sound. They covered both boys' mouths and pulled them away towards the back exit where Carlos had entered. If he couldn't have his darling Esperanza, he would raise the son they could have had together. Hide wouldn't want to be alone, so Carlos didn't see a reason why Topaz couldn't come along. But, the way the orange haired boy hit things maybe he would be useful too. |
At first, Topaz thought the uniformed black men were from his uncle. Li Corp's security donned different attire, depending on who they were. The babysitters - as he made fun of them - were in the usual black suits, dress shoes, ties, and the occassional sunglasses. He saw them often. They would scoop him up and take him to his parents, incurring bruises on the way.
He had squirmed as he always did when he was caught. Then he figured they were new. The experienced ones knew how to handle him. How to restrain him. These guards were new! They hadn't a clue and were taken by surprise by his sugar laden struggles. But they were troopers. Despite his kicks, jabs, and bites, they held on. Carlos Caluroso was a far more frightening individual. |
Carlos looked at the two boys as they were set in the back of the limo with him. "Hidrogeno, your mother will be worried about you."
Hidrogeno looked over Carlos. He knew who he was. EVERYONE in Mexico knew who he was. He was a person of power that you didn't talk back to. Hide held onto his shirt as if he was too embarassed to speak. "Who's this?" Carlos looked Topaz over. "You gave my guards quite a struggle." |
Topaz grinned. He was very, very well aware of what a lot of the security guards with Li Corp called him.
Little Terror. If he wasn't five years old, they wouldn't have bothered with the "Little." It wasn't a form of endearment. It was just a description. He was a monster. A really small one. The chupacabra of men in black. "I'm Topaz Yu," he announced. He hadn't a clue who Carlos Caluroso was. And he wasn't afraid of him. If his uncle knew how he was talking to the man, he would have received a swat on the backside his parents would never deliver. Lapis respected the man. |
Carlos reached over and lightly stroked over Hide's cheek. "You look like your mother."
Hide raised his eyes some to look at him. Topaz reached over to slap Carlos hand. "Don't touch him!" He had already laid claim to Hide Carlos raised a brow at Topaz. He would definately put Topaz's anger to his use. "Just wait until we get there." |
"Where are we going?" Topaz piped. He flipped around to look out the back window, sitting on his knees and eventually standing up. Not seeing much of anything of interest, he flipped around, sitting on his bottom again.
Hide's hand reached over and held his. He held it back. |
Carlos's limo stopped at the hotel where the wealthy business man was staying at. He got out of the car and then motioned Hide and Topaz to follow.
Topaz got out of the car to see where they were. Hide followed and held onto his Topaz as they walked with carlos. "What do you like to eat?" The immediate answer from Topaz was candy. "You can have candy, and I'll get you something for you to eat that contains substance. Tomorrow you're going to run through some paces." "Paces?" "I'm going to see if you can handle a gun." Topaz's eyes immediately widened. "GUN!? COOL!" Hide definately did not want to mess with a gun. They were dangerous and people got hurt. Carlos' eyes continuously glanced back towards Hide. The resemlance to Esperanza kept showing new contours of his face that were similar. |
As the three walked across the large lobby to the elevator, Topaz constantly pointed his finger at people, and shouted "BANG!" at them. It humored him to watch them jump and bump into one another. Such fine dressed people being thrown off by a midget's high pitched voice...atrocious sight.
Topaz turned and gave Hide's side a BANG! too. Hide couldn't help but giggle from being prodded. The two boys broke into laughter and kept holding each other hands. The fiery haired boy resumed at shooting at unsuspecting people with their noses in the air. |
Fuego watched Viento and Jade's hands constantly feel along the other's as they embraced.
"How's Sergio?" Fuego's eyes moved from their hands to Viento who had asked the question. "He's alright." "You didn't bring him with you?" The violet haired man shook his head no. "I was out with Bobby. Mario was with Sergio at home." Viento shuddered some. "Don't call it home, you have a new one now." "Thankfully." "Morgan rescued me from that life, he even got Papi out of jail." Viento raised a brow. "Seriously? How did you manage that?" Morgan smiled, Fuego answered. "Money?" His comment caused the others to laugh. "I'll have to call Papi and let him know his brother's out." Fuego smirked some. "I'm sure Papi's on the phone with him right now." |
