My real name is Jordan. I don't even want to count all the other Jordans I know of. =/ My siblings got the good, unique names- Devin and Broderick. More names I think are common are Alex and Kyle, at least in my community.

fuyumi_saito 12-29-2007 05:56 AM

This is easy. Jessica, Sarah, Rachel, Emily, Michael, Jonathan, Joshua.

Astromantic 12-29-2007 06:09 AM

Girls: Jackie, Jessica, Jennifer, Ashley, Stephanie, Erin, Nicole, Melissa, Britney...

Boys: Michael, Aaron, Matt, Jonathan, Jack, Josh, Chris, Ryan

I can't think of anymore. My brain sploded.

maxiekun 12-29-2007 06:16 AM

I think there are alot of Katie's Nicole's and Ashley's.
But maybe that's just my generation of people. O.o;;

Kicheri 12-29-2007 06:48 AM

My name is Josh, and I find that to be a very common name. Some names you'll see as common, then move to another area and find that it's not as common there, but with my name... I move around, a lot, I've been to many places and seen even more, yet no matter where I go, I always bump into at least one or two other people named Josh.

It's like no matter where I turn, there's another Josh around the corner. Makes me feel rather paranoid. I always figured that I'd move somewhere and it wouldn't be so common a name there... but each time I move it seems the number of Joshes just increases =)

Heheh, but I can't say that I don't like my name. I can't think of another name that would fit me so well. Just wish so many other people weren't named Josh, I want some originality to my name xP

I know a lot of Jessicas too. Also Brandons. All the Brandons at my high school were jerks and I told my mom...so everytime I complain about a guy now she asks me if his name was Brandon. There were a lot of Ashleys at my school too, and I know a lot of Michaels.

  • I was just talking to my best friend about this because we both know too many Magens (or Meaghan, or Maghen or however the heck you spell it). I can name like 6 Magens right now, and probably three times that many people if I sat down and thought hard about it.

Katie is a close second.

Thunder 12-29-2007 02:40 PM

I know tons of Jessicas. Most of the guys around here have different names though, so I can't think of a popular male name. Um...Bob maybe?

Solitare 12-29-2007 03:27 PM

My name, Alycia, isn't that common however, my nickname, Allie, is! The spelling of my name isn't that common so I rather like it. :D

Maria-Minamino 12-29-2007 03:48 PM

My name was common over a hundred years ago - but not so much now lol There are still a few with my name but it's getting less and less common as the years go by.

Nissa 12-29-2007 03:56 PM

Nissa is my real name. I doubt there's anywhere where that name is common. I've only ever heard of 3 of us.

EbilKitty 12-29-2007 03:58 PM

I have a cousin named David as well

I think my real name, Linda, is quite common for people around my age (in their 20s) and older, not so common for younger people it seems.

raganaite 12-29-2007 04:32 PM

I think one of the most common would be Ann ^_^

sugarkane 12-29-2007 05:08 PM

Shannon is quite popular from what I've seen. There's 3 Shannons in my year at school. Other popular girls names seem to be: Emily, Chloe, Sophie, Lauren, Rebecca and Ella.

Boys? Sam, Josh, David, Daniel and Jack.

Tilly 12-29-2007 05:28 PM

Sarah, Julia, Ashely and Chantal. D:

For guys, Marc, Josh, Michael.

My name's Jane. A lot of people don't bother naming their kids something so plain these days, so I've never met another Jane.

[L]ove[H]ate 12-29-2007 08:06 PM

Sarah, Sam, Amanda, Ashley, Rebecca, and Nicole. Emily is also a popular name.

I know 10 AMANDA's! 0.0
I know 5 Sam's.
I know 3 Ashley's.
I know 8 or so Rebecca's!
I know 10+ Nicole's INCLUDING myself. Haha!
I know 5 or 6 Emily's also!
