I'm not sure if I've ever posted here before, so heres my intro! Err, so I've done a few cosplays before. All terrible. We won't talk about them. xD BTW, 2/3 were jrock. I haven't cosplayed in awhile because I'm lazy. xDD;; Well thats part of the reason, and also that its so darn expensive and I don't have a lot of extra cash. And what I REALLY want to cosplay now I can actually buy the entire outfit off the interwebs, but the website is sold out and I don't know if they'll ever get any more in. That and it will be expensive as hell. On a better note, I went to Anime Expo this year. It was kickass, OMG. LM.C. Eff yes. xDD |

Feel free to call me irken. I think I might've posted here a looong time ago. The last time I was actually active here xD Its not that easy to contact the site. Its called groucho, they sell exact replicas of stuff that the band LM.C wears. The jumpsuit I want is a little over $300 @[email protected]; But correct cosplay comes with a price. Soo yeep. xD You missed another con? Oh noes! Haah, I've only been to one this year. But, it was Anime Expo. So thats okay. xD I'm actually going to Nekocon this year to meet up with my bestbestfriend. Woo~ |

Oooh I love to Cosplay. I've done Miranda from D-gray man, Yami no Malik from YGO, and Kazuki from GetBackers. I also dressed up as sailor moon and princess Serenity when I was younger for halloween

oh dear not another misa. At tekkoshocon i saw so many misa's i am scared that the army will return one day to take over.
My cosplay consists of. Kio and Soubi from loveless, XIShin, Kaname, and tomanori from juvinile orion. |
*pouts* I just haven't had the time or the funding to do anything better. Misa Misa's costume is fairly easy to replicate espically with my wardrobe... >.>; Though I did splurge almost $80 on the shoes. LOL!

Haa, that's my local convention! I might be going this year! xD So, there are a lot of Misas this year? There is a girl at out anime club who did a nice Misa cosplay. :) You should post pics.
One of my friends and her girlfriend did a Soubi and Ritsuka cosplay one year. They were.. quite popular. I'm pretty sure there is a youtube vid somewhere of them kissing in costume. ^^;; |

i'm still getting the knots out of the wig (it was a cheep wig and i don't care). other than that, it won't be to awfully exact. i'm just putting together something he might wear. I i got his earings at claires, but i'm a bit short.

I've never cosplayed before, but I really like the idea, and would like to try it. I've settled on a person, but I'm not so sure about my sewing skills. Any advice? |
Popcorn: Are you using a machine or hand-sewing? And how complicated is the costume you're going for.
If you can get away with buying clothing that looks similar and then modifying that to start, then that's the best. Patterns can be tricky if you're just trying for the first time. |

I'll never find a picture of it, but I think it would be nice to see someone cosplay the outfit she wore in that one episode when she got all her friends to dress similar to her to entertain those business-men. Its probably been done.. but I've never seen pictures. |

I was thinking about attending my local con, Tekkoshocon. Buuut, they seem to not be answering me if I can be on staff or not, so I'm thinking I probably won't go. Not totally sure yet on that one. And I'm trying to decide on either Anime Expo (AX) or Otakon. I dunno, I'm thinking AX, cuz its soooo much better. <3 |

The next convention I normally attend isn't until May. *woe* (Anime Boston). I know that I have options in New York (and maybe Rhode Island) before then.. but I guess I'd rather save up my money for AB. More time to finish my cosplay to my satisfaction I suppose. |
