Critique Please?

I was wondering if people could tell me what they think of my newest doodles. The one with the person was mostly done in a car ride, so it is a bit messed.

Wooow.
So pretty~~~
X3
They're both so amazing, I really don't know what to say. ^^;
The first one has amazing detail. <33

For the second one...maybe folds on the skirt?
It looks too smooth to me. ^^;
But that's pretty much the only thing I can point out. ^^;;

Guitar Hero 01-03-2008 03:22 AM

Your detailing definitely hit the nail on the head!

The only problem I see is the lack of Guitar Hero in your drawings.

...

Right, that was a joke. :] I don't see anything out of place at all.

Tenten; What if it's one of those hoop skirts? You know, the dresses with the ring inside to make a round shape? It wouldn't require many folds. P:

Don't question my sexuality. D:

Lysander 01-03-2008 03:23 AM

Ah, yea, heh, I thought it needed folds as well. I couldn't figure out how to properly for some reason, lol.

Thanks a lot. ^_^

@Guitar Hero - Oh, you're right, how could I ever forget that? =P

Wow there really great! I'm really impressed with the detail. and I love the face on the girl!

Wynna 01-03-2008 03:28 AM

I think they're great. There is so much little detail in each of them. I think little minute details make a picture.

Lysander 01-03-2008 03:30 AM

Thank you both. Yea, I've fallen in love with doing small details. They really add a lot.

@chibilady18 - Thanks! I was so nervous with her face for some reason since I kept messing up when I originally drew it in pencil. That, plus the road whas bumpy, heh.

Susheh 01-03-2008 03:33 AM

I would really like to wear that to a party
It is really nice I love the design! Especially the top~

Lysander 01-03-2008 03:42 AM

Thanks. ^_^
I love designing clothing. I so wish I could make that in real life and not just on paper, lol.

  • Love your detail!! It's awesome. n__n

bride 01-03-2008 01:39 PM

Wow, I really love the detail!
I find it hard to criticise, though, because it's mostly dress XD
(not a bad thing)

RyaLee 01-04-2008 12:54 AM

I like it, I love small details, but there are some minor things that are kind of hard to explain...would you mind if I drew over it to explain whatever it is I'm trying to say [I don't even know what I'm trying to say lol]
I really like the top with all the lacey goodness ^_^

Lysander 01-04-2008 03:15 AM

Sure, that'd be great. ^_^

Wendy Darling 01-04-2008 10:02 PM

Good heavens, these are very very detailed. So much so that it almost makes my eyes hurt to take in every single wrinkle and line.

I'm not a big fan of corsets or old-timey clothing such as these, but you draw them well. Seriously, there is no reason why you shouldn't be a fashion designer.

I would love to see these pieces with some color! :]

Lysander 01-05-2008 05:43 PM

Haha, thanks. My eyes always hurt a bit afterI finish drawing these. I have some weird fasination for old kind of clothing right now. I wish I could be a fashion designer. I can sew and such, but I don't know. I love designing clothing.

Colour, oi. I'm trying to learn to colour. I fail at it though, lol. I'm probably going to try colouring some of these with my pencil crayons and markers. I completely fail when it comes to colouring with the computer.
