I'll do my best! *determined face*

zigbigadorlube 11-05-2014 02:35 AM

Derp, totally posted that in the wrong place. XD

TaiyoTsuki 11-05-2014 02:39 AM

[XD]
Good job! Here's a cookie! [cookie]

zigbigadorlube 11-05-2014 02:40 AM

I swear that's like the first time I've ever done that... *Noms cookie anyway*

TaiyoTsuki 11-05-2014 02:43 AM

[XD]
We all pull goofies every now and then. I do at least fifty every day. ^^

zigbigadorlube 11-05-2014 02:44 AM

LOL! Hopefully you are able to laugh them off!

TaiyoTsuki 11-05-2014 02:51 AM

Errr, sometimes.... [sweatdrop]

zigbigadorlube 11-05-2014 02:54 AM

Aw... *Pats*

I started a new book today: "The Girl Who Leapt Through time".

TaiyoTsuki 11-05-2014 02:57 AM

Oh? Is it good?

zigbigadorlube 11-05-2014 02:59 AM

It's the book that the anime movie with the same title was based off of. So far it's okay, very short though.

TaiyoTsuki 11-05-2014 03:03 AM

Hm...I've never heard of that one, I'll have to look it up! [mrgreen]

zigbigadorlube 11-05-2014 03:05 AM

It's pretty hard to find from what I've seen. I was super happy when I realized that the library had it.

TaiyoTsuki 11-05-2014 03:10 AM

Well that's nice. [yes]
Mine has a fairly good sci-fi/fantasy section, and what I can't find I loan in.

zigbigadorlube 11-05-2014 03:11 AM

I'm so happy that I finally figured out the library here. >.<

TaiyoTsuki 11-05-2014 03:18 AM

Yay~
Libraries are amazing...if they don't have a piss-poor book selection.

zigbigadorlube 11-05-2014 03:19 AM

That is very true. I didn't think they had many books when I first went but it was because I couldn't figure out how their stuff is organized.

TaiyoTsuki 11-05-2014 03:31 AM

It can take a while DX.
The library in my old town stank though. I asked what they had for science fiction and fantasy and they looked at me like I'd grown two extra heads.

zigbigadorlube 11-05-2014 03:32 AM

Aw, the library in my home town didn't have a lot but the librarian was pretty nice.

TaiyoTsuki 11-05-2014 03:35 AM

The librarians were nice, but apparently in that little town if you're a woman and you read something other than sappy-crap romance you're an alien.

zigbigadorlube 11-05-2014 03:41 AM

Ah yeah, no the librarian who helped me totally got it. She would always show me the new fantasy books. [yes]

Chexala 11-05-2014 03:48 AM

I just picked up a new book that was recommended by a friend: When Nietzsche Wept, by Irvin D. Yalom.
It's a novel about Neitzsche getting psychoanalysis back in the first days of psychoanalysis. I think young Sigmund Freud is in it. [lol]
My friend said it had a big impact on her, so I'm pretty excited to start reading it. [eager]

zigbigadorlube 11-05-2014 09:34 PM

Wow, that sounds like it would be a tough read...

Chexala 11-06-2014 12:54 AM

Yeah, it does sound like it could get dense. So far it's been good though, just normal literary fiction. I'm only a couple chapters in though, so we'll see how deep down the philosophy and psychology rabbit holes it'll go.

zigbigadorlube 11-06-2014 01:33 AM

You'll have to tell me how it is.

Whisper Invictus 11-11-2014 09:20 PM

I'm buying two newer books from Sherrilyn Kenyon this week, that I'm super excited about! I hope they're good, and I won't be able to put them down. I need a book like that, it's been a while.
