I have too much stuff that I would absolutely want to keep, but the main thing I care about is my stuffed animal I've had for eighteen years. I can't live without her, or sleep without her. But, if I had more time, I'd grab my writing stuff and books as well as all my highly expensive Nightmare Before Christmas stuff.

I would grab my laptop, and my tablet xD I don't really need anything else, really. My lolita cloths would take too long to get out, and I can just grab the laptop and tablet because there are right there and all @ [email protected]

Hehe...I have my laptop bag packed and ready most of the time for just such an emergency. It has all of my favorite DVDs and whatnot in it, as well as a bunch of random stuff with personal value.
Only thing that's NOT always in it is my laptop. XD But then again, when it's not in there, it's pretty much in my hands anyway. ^^; If I don't ACTUALLY have to spend any time on taking it, does it count? XD |
ugh..what do i grab..hurmm..thats hard...
i think it'd be my computer, and die carrying it XD its heavy >.< |
Honestly, if there's a fire, I'm going to die and there really isn't anything I can do about it unless it starts upstairs. XD
I live in the basement (I hardly ever come up.. XD) and there's only one window. The window looks out to this little... hole in our porch, but it's sealed in with a grate. My survival would depend on being able to jump up and knock over the table that's sitting on top of the grate. Not happening. That's a heavy table! So if there ever IS a fire, I'm just locking myself in the shower and hope the fire department gets there quickly. But I would grab my iPod and my stuffed tiger Jude. I can't choose between those two. I love them too much. I wish I had a laptop to grab... XD |
Scary thought. x.x If I knew that all of my family was safe and I only had time for one thing it would most definitely be my laptop. My life is on here and I'm not sure how I would handle it if I lost everything on it. XD;
lol This topic reminds me of when I was little during tornado season my brother and I would pack a backpack full of some of our most favorite and important things that we would take with us whenever one hit. |
Hm...can I get two things?
My baby blankets >w< I always sleep with them, one time, when I was like 7, I cried because I lost them, but then I found them next to the couch the next day >>;; |
I'd pull out my top-left drawer, place in on a box, and run xD all my precious possessions are in those 2 places. if I could only grab one I'd grab the box, since my (almost 200) poems are in there ^^" plus my birthday presents from my sweetheart ^^
- I r prepared xD - |
I would grab my dvd case with the discs of seasons of buffy, angel, and firefly in them. Those things are way too expensive to lose and I watch them a lot. I'd probably grab the case with my other dvds too since they're right next to each other.
I'd like to keep my art, journals, and photos, but that would take too long to gather and be way too heavy. I love my laptop a lot, but I have a desktop at my dads house that I could use instead if I had to. If I had extra time I'd take my money too. And Adelante, the stuffed crocodile my boyfriend gave me. Hopefully a fire won't come because I would be devastated at the loss of my clothes. |
my laptop!
i wouldn't be able to do my schoolwork without it :D |

wait whats the second item? ;O |
I would grab my Wii on the way out. I can always replace the cables and stuff, but it's nearly impossible to find a Wii in stock - thus I would be sure to assure its safety before getting out.
However, it's a close run with my favorite stuffed animal. My Bunny is really important to me, so it'd kill me if I couldn't save him as well. Logically though, he;s nearly right next to my Wii, so I'd grab him to, if I was given the option. |
Normally when answering this question I say I'd save my cat, but we can't say pets, so I might have to put some thought into this. I think I would grab the first teddy bear my boyfriend ever gave me, for our first Valentine's day together. I remember how I was SO excited to finally get a stuffed animal from him. I named him Harribear. He's white and has a red bowtie, a red nose, and a red heart on the bottom of his foot. : ) I still sleep with Harribear, and usually I take at least one of my bears from my boyfriend on overnighters (I am not obsessive..) so I figure if my house burned down, Harribear would help me cope until my boyfriend could get there. |
My stuffed bear. but he would be with my stuffed zebra so I would get both. HOZAH!
Edit: But now that I'm thinking about it there would be so much more I would want to take. argh. If anything I would need to get a photobook. We have so many it wouldn't be hard to just grab one but they are all upstairs. If I was upstairs it would be me jumping out of a window with sutffed animals and photobooks. x-x |

i would've said my kitten, Ash too, but since she said stuffs..i cant think of anything really that precious XD awww, thats sweeet ^-^ |
I would probably dive for my letter box and my grandfather's old fairytale book -- Actually xD The way my room is set up, I could just start shoveling stuff out the window (my bedroom is on the ground) -- but I imagine I'd get some... interesting looks from the fire fighters xD;
I'd try and save some of my stuffed animals, too :3 I love my stuffies <3 |
Well I'm sure I'd be able to grab more than one thing since my room is pretty small and everything is accessable. But if I had to choose one thing for the sake of the question it would be my laptop. It's the only thing in my room that isn't replacable because I don't have a backup disk for all the memory stored on here so it'd be a must have. All the really important stuff is in our garage because we're only going to be living in this duplex for a year.
As for what else I'd most likely grab is my football signed by the entire Kansas City Chiefs team as of 2001, my Wii, my dog's ashes, etc. |
My robe. I wouldn't wanna' be standing out their nakie.
|
The first thing that came to mind was my pets, but I have no idea what else I’d save since the only thing that matters to me ist hat my pets and family are safe. I honestly am not attached to anything material because anything can be replaced.
|
I don't know, I think I'd have to stand there in the fire for awhile and think about it.
Orr maybe I'd just take my computer. :) But it might take too long to drag out, so there's a good possibility I'd die... |
My laptop! It's APPLE and it's expensive. And it's most precious to me xD
|

and..be burnt thinking o.o; crazzy XD ( u know im just kidding ^-^; ) earth - its always apple XD |
Well if I only had to grab one thing I would grab my giraffe since I have had him since I was only three years old. But if I could grab a second thing I would grab my bag since It generally holds most of the things that I need including my all important i-pod.
|
I'd probably already have my iPod and cellphone on me, which I would desperately need. I'd reach down, snag the cords and stuff em into my pocket, then lean over and snag my Teddybear and Blankie in the same motion, then run screaming from the house xP If I could only grab just one..I'd say my teddie. But, my room is really small, so I could probably grab a couple books and stuff as well before dashing out the door, or my window, cause I'm on the ground floor. |

I mean, if my house was really on fire, I'd just run like Hell the moment I noticed. |
