what are drabbles?

I'm just waiting for my cousin to come over. We are going to go see The House Bunny.

kyoshiana 09-15-2008 07:31 AM

I want to see that movie xD...

drabbles are short stories that are usually 100-200 words long... mine are ending up somewhere between 150-400 xD... and may or may not have to do with (insert number) word theme list... I decided to try it out ... click here if you wants to read it... and I'm doing it on Seito and Psyrien's 100 Themes: Romance Edition ...

when I'm finished I might use all of them in one big story or whatnot... *shrugs*

Hello friends, aquintances and everyone else. I have grave news for you all. I have decided to leave Mene, I do not know if I will be back or not, but most likely not. This place holds to many sad memories and recognizable things that I do not wish to hold onto in the future, I will be coming back today to tie up any last conversations, any pms and so forth. If anyone wishes to add me to a messenger, feel free to do so at your own accord. Thank you all, and I am sorry I must do this.

GeminiKizzy 09-15-2008 08:03 PM

Well, Kukon, I haven't had a chance to get to know you but I wish you the best of luck. I'm sorry Mene has sad memories for you. May you find happy ones from here on out.

Kukon 09-16-2008 12:11 AM

Thanks, I do appreciate it.

roocee 09-16-2008 01:00 AM

Thanks, it did take a bit of time to put together. Now I just need to go put it back on. Maybe, might do something else. Can't decide.

Morning everyone.

Brutal-Beauty 09-17-2008 07:47 PM

Hello and good afternoon! Is anybody around? Anybody read anything interesting or go see a movie lately?

roocee 09-18-2008 02:01 AM

Last movie I was was Swing Vote with Kevin Costner. It was pretty good.

kyoshiana 09-18-2008 08:22 AM

the last movie I saw in theaters was Mirrors... the concept was good and there were a couple parts that made people scream and/or jump but the end sucked -_- ... the last movie I saw at home was What Happens in Vegas... and that movie is great ^.^ ... if you haven't seen it and you don't mind romantic comedies, then you should see it... hehe

Brutal-Beauty 09-18-2008 11:36 AM

My boyfriend and I watched a cheezy low-budget horror movie recently call the Wizard of Gore! It's a remake (of course, aren't they all?!?!) of an old movie by Herschell Gordon Lewis. It was pretty awful except Crispin Glover was in it. He was actually really awesome. The best part of the movie for sure! :) What's everyone doing for Halloween?

roocee 09-18-2008 07:17 PM

I want to see What Happens in Vegas. My BF won't watch stuff like that but I might insist with this one.

Halloween - I usually help pass out candy and then we have a little party after trick or treating is over.

Vickicat 09-18-2008 11:29 PM

Halloween.

I am not sure what I am doing for Halloween. My friend usually has a party that I go to. If she doesn't then I will invite people over here. I love Halloween I will never be too old for it. I do miss getting free candy though LOL. I am just always so indecisive about what to dress up as... I guess I should start thinking about that.

*Pokes her head in*

Been awhile since I posted here.

Howdy everyone!

I know, I'm always trying to come up with a costume. Last year I was the Snow Queen. That was alot of work but it came out beautifully. I have a little one so I take her out in the early evening then have Nana come over so Dad and I can go to a party or a movie. I like doing obscure stuff so I think, this year I'm going as Miss Argentina from Beetlejuice.

EternalHearts 09-19-2008 02:43 PM

I have no idea what I'm doing for Halloween. There is a costume cruise the weekend before I'm thinking about going to, but have no idea what I'm gonna do for a costume.

GeminiKizzy 09-19-2008 11:59 PM

My son (age 5) wants to be Iron Man. He wants me to be Wonder Woman but I'm not so sure how I'd look in that costume.

AkashaHeartilly 09-20-2008 02:25 AM

Tell him you can't be Wonder Woman, cause she's a DC character and not Marvel. Be Ms. Mavel, or Storm, or Jean Grey or something from Marvel.

I'm also clueless on what to dress up as. If I get a job at the Halloween store, then discount on costume.

Brutal-Beauty 09-20-2008 10:39 AM

lol! My 4 year old daughter wants to be Sailor Moon. Not an easy costume to find for a tiny 4 year old. I found a cosplay site that will tailor make it for her, but I'm thinking I don't want to spend $70 on it either...

AkashaHeartilly 09-20-2008 10:20 PM

It's not that hard to make one and that is adorable she wants to be Sailor Moon. Maybe you can take her to a con dressed up.

Brutal-Beauty 09-21-2008 12:56 AM

That's a really good idea! I'll have to get together with my Grandma on that one. I can mend stuff, but a whole costume might be a little more than I could handle alone. I never been to a con sadly, but my sister in law goes all the time. She was ecstatic when I told her about the the Sailor Moon costume! It's hard with little ones though, they change their minds so often. Tomorrow she could wake up and want to be a hobbit...

AkashaHeartilly 09-22-2008 08:58 AM

Well, hopefully she stays with it. If anything ask her again in Oct. and let her know what ever she says, that is what she gets to be. I think when I was that age, I was retty gung ho on what I wanted to be and it had t be that.
