"Yes you are too blushing and why do you have to say you aren't cute?" she asked looking up at him.

"Because I'm not cute. Not as cute as other guys or anything like that."

"You're right because you look better than cute and blushing makes you cute, I guess I go for cute." Sanoko said.

"You just love to embarrass me now don't you Sanoko?" Maoko blushed more, looking away again in hopes that she wouldn't see it.

Sanoko shook her head. "No I don't." she said with a smile. She did notice his blush but didn't say anything. She thought for a little bit, she guessed she liked Maoko she just never payed attention to it because they were friends. She raised up and gave him a small kiss on the cheek.

Maoko smiled a bit until he leaned forward and kissed her cheek as well, hoping that she wasn't disgusted by this in any way. "Um....well....Sanoko, I guess I've never really told you exactly why I like you and all. I mean, not only are you strong, smart, and beautiful, but you're also the only girl in school that wasn't boycrazy and fawning. So I guess that made me attracted to you." |
Sanoko smiled when he kissed her cheek as well. She listened to what he had to say. "Thanks, that does seem like a very good reason to like someone. I can't say what about you attracts me for more than a friend because I never thought about it. Though right now I'd have to say it is because you are nice and sweet."

"You don't seem to back down either." Sanoko said with a smile. "And thanks."

Maoko smiled a cocky smile. "Well I try, can't say I do wonderful at it, but I do try"

Suki was following maoko and sanoko, she didn't think they were aware that she was there. She wanted to know just how close they were, did maoko like her? She hoped all these would be answered and soon to.

Maoko ran his fingers through the girl's hair slowly and smiled. "Wow....you really are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen Sanoko. Do...do you think it would be a little too forward if I asked your permission to kiss you?"

Sanoko smiled as he ran his hand through her hair. "Thanks...and no... it isn't forward to ask for permission for that, you can." She stood waiting on him to kiss her. She was trying to try and like him the way he did her since it was hopeless for her and Kashi. She had no idea that Suki was there and liked Maoko.

she couldn't believe it, how could he betray her like this. But then again, he never did admit to loving her. Why did her life always seem complicated?

Kuro sat in front of the fire after watching Suki follow Sanoko and Maoko. He had gotten full so he was fine for now. He wondered why Suki was following Sanoko and Maoko.

Maoko leaned forward slowly and kissed Sanoko. Then he broke the kiss blushing deeply. "I...um..."

Sanoko didn't kiss him back at that moment. She looked at him, at his blushing face. She gave him a kiss. "You what?" she asked.
