My phone was in my mom's name for a bit since I was on their plan and then split to my own plan, but still on her name. And then a couple of years ago she gave me $500 to put down on my own plan and I got it back after 12 months because I was on time with my payments, so she wasn't out any money.
This reminds me that I need to send in my paper work for the tires on my car. I'll put it in the mail today. *nods*

Melody 12-28-2009 06:35 PM

paperwork for your tires? xD

Oh yeah you got the awesome non-cheap tires huh? lol.

Queen_Andais 12-28-2009 06:43 PM

Yeah, I got the nice up there models that came with a $70 rebate and I that's the paper work needing to be mailed. Cause I like money and what's mine I want.

roocee 12-28-2009 06:43 PM

I need to do my rebate for my new cellphone.

Melody 12-28-2009 06:49 PM

I had to do the rebate for my new stove. I hope they hurry up and send that check. I'd like my $75 back now!

I do this

Sometimes if I'm in the basement & Chris is up on the 3rd floor in the office I'll text or IM him instead of running up all those stairs just to ask a question.

We've called each other before too

<--- lazy

Melody 12-28-2009 07:02 PM

I've called scott from the bathroom before because he forgot to refill the toilet paper. >.>

Queen_Andais 12-28-2009 07:03 PM

 Mel, that's too funny.

Sia, I could totally understand not wanting to run up all those flight of stairs for a simple yes or no answer.

roocee 12-28-2009 11:07 PM

My roommate and her mother do that and I've done it too when we don't want her mother to know what our conversation is about.

Queen_Andais 12-28-2009 11:23 PM

Rodd and I mess around and we'll text each other as we are sitting in the living room together, especially if my older sister is around. Sometimes it's just not nice to say I love you in front of someone that doesn't have a significant other in their life.

Melody 12-28-2009 11:55 PM

Andais- that's kinda cute.

Queen_Andais 12-29-2009 12:01 AM

Or in a movie we'll do the same thing.

Do you ever wonder if eventually we will evolve so that we don't need vocal cords because we have all this technology that talks for us?

Melody 12-29-2009 12:02 AM

It's a possibility. But I think it will take a reallllly long time. xD and I kinda hope it never happens. I like listening to Scotts voice. It's really soothing. Listening to him read the kids bedtime stories makes me happy.

roocee 12-29-2009 12:11 AM

I have a thing about listening to someone's voice. I can't explain it.

Melody 12-29-2009 12:16 AM

Books on CD Roo? I got my Grandpa Harry Potter on CD for Christmas. The guy who reads it is FANTASTIC.

roocee 12-29-2009 12:19 AM

Yes I'll agree he's great. My favorite by far with the books I've listened to. It can be on the phone too. I'm just strange lol.

morquarwen 12-29-2009 12:19 AM

*le sigh* Im out of reading material again. Ive been reading *gasp* ROMANCES!! Not the smutty over the top ones - these ones are more real, and the woman arent these perfect models either. One was about a paraplegic, the last one had some sort of brain damage the affected her speech patterns. I love the author, shes amazing.

Melody 12-29-2009 12:29 AM

That sounds more interesting than the smutty over the top ones Jess. xD

roocee 12-29-2009 01:29 AM

They do sound good. Have you looked to see if any of the ones I sent you the link to are at the library Jess?

apricotbaby 12-29-2009 05:30 PM

Has anyone read Stephen King's new book yet?

Queen_Andais 12-29-2009 06:00 PM

I need some new books, just haven't found any worth reading lately. That and I've neglected going to the book store to check new authors.

morquarwen 12-29-2009 06:24 PM

I checked before Rue and no they arent

aprifruity - I have not read that yet, is it any good? The last book of his I tried to read was Lissi's Story, and I just could not find my groove with it. I read 12 chapters and I just could not get into it

Blazestorm 12-29-2009 06:52 PM

I could use some new reading material too... but haven't had the time, inclination or free cash to go to the book store lately.

Stephen King used to be interesting for me several years ago. Haven't read any of his recent things though.

Queen_Andais 12-29-2009 07:17 PM

:headdesk: I hate mene right now.

So yeah, the last book I read was by Joyce Carol Oates called Rape: A love Story. It was kind of interesting, short, but odd.

Blazestorm 12-29-2009 08:04 PM

o_0 oh boy... by the title alone, it sounds ... interesting... and not one I'd be likely to read, that's for sure, Queen!
