Thankfully I havent ran into too many nasty nurses. Even more grateful there hasnt been many nasty with Toni, cause then I get REALLY nasty. Its one thing to be nasty to me but my child is a whole other story

I'm so glad I don't currently have any nurse horror stores to tell. :/
When I was in for surgery the nurse was looking at my arm for the IV and had to call in 2 other nurses to help her, because I apparently do not have good veins and they are hard to see. I'm glad she called in help and didn't just start sticking me! |
Yeah that is a good thing! I think alot of things have changed though, I dont really run into many that like to dig. You would think they wouldnt do that, since Im sure everyone has blood drawn once or twice in their life and knows how it feels

I have been surrounded by nurses all my life, and since they are family making ill comments about them is out. My mother wasa regesterd nurse and head nurse where ever she worked. My older sister was a nurse for a Plastic Surgeon for 40 years and she is now retired. I swear she has implants but she always tells me she is all natural. I will never realy know you know. My middle sister was a nurse and she just retired from nursing so when I have a problem I usually cal her because she is a little more open to questions then the rest of the clan, My sister one year younger then her still works in Emanual Hostpital in Portland along side of my younger brothers wife, and his sons wife. My youngest sister , I realy do not know how she handles life, she is a RN with 11 children and homeschools as well as working in one of the largest hostpitals in the Portland area. My father was an Orthopedic Surgeon but he also had 5 Doctors degrees added to his name. even tho he has passed on some years ago I have been able to find many things written about him on the internet. My brother a year younger then I am, is a Doctor and he will be retiring next year he says. His wife I am sure will quit nursing when he retires. So now you children wil understand when I say I have no say as to who is right or wrong about manners for I have heard more sides about what goes on in a hospitl then most.

Oh yeah. Ive seen rude people to, and there is no call for it. The nurses are only doing their jobs, and there is only so much that they can do. There was a couple in the lab yesterday giving one of the techs a hard time. Not sure why but I think it was because she needed a special kind of lab done, so a certified tech needed to come in and do it, and she didnt register right either. People can make a nurses job much more difficult

Nope, that is one job I could never do lol. I hate needles, and there is no way I could stick some one, whether it was to draw blood or give a shot

Talking about needles, I have a whole passel of them som as long as 6 inches and 20 or so glass suringes to go with them, You know they are antique because they only use throw away ones any more. Some body somewhere will want them just to hang on their wall.

I 100% agree that nurses put up with alot, and because of that, I am always very co operative with them. I rarely deal with medical staff and most of them have been great and I tell them so. They also take alot off the doctors too sometimes. I had a snappy doctor when my youngest was being born, i felt bad for the nurse. Wow, you have a large family.

This I found to be funny, my youngest sister was the wild one, she was destine to end up strut her stuff on the corner in some town I swear. I mean, like she broke ever rule in the book always wore tight fit clothes with no bra and she was no slouch, like she had a figure that wouldn't quit. Many a time I had remind her that I was a man and even though she was my kid sister she was oh so a temptress. She was down right naughty. Anyway to mak a long story shorter, she met Paul and he swept her off her feet. Paul is a Minnenite go figure. As holy as they come, hat bfullbeard and the whole Kaboddle. He told her if she liked children he would make shure she would have all the sex she would ever need. 11 children later she calls me up and says never let your daughter become permisquis. Hah!

That's great Jess! You need to call out your landlord and her her arse in gear--I don't know about down there, but up here it's illegal to allow that kind of stuff to happen, and you can withhold rent for not having issues fixed immediately.

He's already said hes not paying the rent this month. Tab and I are just going to start looking harder for a new place, shes great a finding nice ones and her brother trusts her judgment. I just cant wait till I have more room, because no matter how much I clean it still looks bad because its so cluttered

That and with the new baby on the way, you really need a place that has laundry facilities or hookups. Not that I mind you coming out here but I'm sure it will be nice to have your own.

I think you can't just not pay rent - you need to put the money in escrow - it's like an account that holds the rent while you're waiting for the stuff to be fixed.
Landlord can't have the money- but it is there so you can't be accused of not paying and get evicted - I don't know a lot about it but you may want to look into that - it's the legal protect your butt method of not giving a crappy landlord money until stuff is fixed. >_< |
He says he wont pay but I know he will. He says that all the time lol. Its just getting to the point that we're tired of putting up with this crap. The tub leaks, the toilet leaks, the tile in the kitchen is coming up, and the neighbors are noisy and inconsiderate. We're just at the breaking point.

I think looking into what Sia suggested would be totally worth it. The landlord has to maintain livable standards for tenants. >.<

After running a canceled check, Im actually kind of afraid to see what her reaction would be to something like that to be honest. He will probably just want to move and put it behind us, and so do I to be honest. We've been wanting to move for awhile now, but all this new stuff just makes it that much more urgent

Then of course you have his mother calling us screaming because Tab hasn't found anything. It's not her fault.
