Games There Should Be Sequals To...
I was thinking back lately, of when I got my first console. It was a Nintendo64 and it came with Mario 64. We bought Mariokart 64, and Pokémon Snap. Pokémon Snap never seemed like a great game, no good storyline, and all you did was replaying levels. But there was just something about it, don't you think? Exploring, discovering secrets, finding all those rare pokémon..
Pokémon has been milked out, I know. But Pokémon Snap was something special, and if it were me, there would have been a sequal. A longer one, with more stages, more pokémon, more items maybe, and of course more secrets! I would have loved playing it on the gamecube, but wouldnt it be frikin sweet on the wii?! =D Discuss: - Games there should be sequals to - Games that have way too many sequals |
haha omg, hopefully soul calibur and dmc dunt get so much sequals... hopefully not T^T
but i think the final fantasy series have alotta sequals >3> not that im complaining, it'll kinda be funny to have a game out in the future, FFXXVI xDDD |
hehehe, personally I think The Legend of Zelda has waaay too many sequals, but strangely enough it just doesnt die for me! I love Zelda! :3

Threads of Fate/Dewprism should have gotten a sequel. I mean... the ending of the game practically set one up.
For the most part though, I think games should be left alone. Sequels are usually completely unnecessary and often take away from the original game. I mean, I would have loved a sequel to FFIX, as it's my all time favorite game. But it ended so perfectly that it just doesn't need one. A sequel would only present an opportunity for the developers to screw things up and tarnish an otherwise perfect game. We get so many sequels nowadays and they're almost always worse than the original. And I'm not just talking about games, it's also applies to movies and television shows. Can't we get something original now and then? I don't want another Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest from Square Enix. Please give me something new... :( |
Yeah, I agree storylines should not be milked so much that its not fun anymore, except of course if the story was made to be sequaled(Zelda, in which a hero returns to fight evil), or if a story has been scheduled to continue in a new game from the start.

oh ya! zelda has a bunch of games out! i forgot about that one, but the only one i really loved playing was the windwaker one *w* i LOVED it <3
i wanna play it again too >w< but i need to buy the game again -__- *meh auntie gave it away w/o meh permission* T^T |
Nawww ):
Id hate it if someone gave my games away! D: And its funny, today I had the urge to play that game! :o |
Pokemon Snap on Wii makes too much sense. Hopefully, Nintendo realizes this, and the recent VC release of the N64 version was some kind of clue.
I would love to see a new StarTropics game. When playing Animal Crossing on the GCN, I thought a similar style could be used for a StarTropics game (3/4 over-head view), however, a fully 3D one would be cool, too. |
My god, Pokemon Snap for wii would be AWESOME!!
I mean, how can they NOT do it, especially with the wiimote! I think by adding the online-picture send to the 64 version of snap on the VC is a hint we're gonna get it.. |
I kinda hoped there would be a sequel to the revamped Bard's tale(mine is PS2), I highly doubt it now since the narrator for the first one died.

I think "Legend of Dragoon" should have a sequel..
and I think they need to come out with another "Breath of fire" and "Dark cloud" as well :D oh and "The Battle of olympus" for the nes too |
