His cell is off and I don't like his step dad or sister. His sister will most likely answer the phone and she lies to me... :/

He's the most amazing thing on earth when I actually have CONTACT with him, but when he's out and about, he acts like I don't exist. (He doesn't cheat on me though.)

Wendy Darling 01-21-2008 07:38 PM

@Meave: Definitely hoard it. Sounds like a great plan to me. XD; N00bs will be your best friends. . . or at least try to be. XD

@Sim: Well, high school is general college preparatory courses. They get more actual college-level when you get up to your junior or senior year, though. Oh, and yeah, I got the hoodie last night! Thansk! ^___^

@Kego: Sounds like the guy I like. >_> Though I could never have him. Guys just aren't that interactive when they're not actually THERE. It's a proven fact. Ask any girl.

xuvrette 01-21-2008 07:38 PM

Anyone, any different opinion?
The chocolate is NOT going to be sell again! O_O

Wendy Darling 01-21-2008 07:41 PM

Hoard away! Just be sure to leave one for me. >w< I'm gonna buy one in the shops, too. XD;

Just one, though. :o

Was Menewsha just slow for anyone just now, or was that just me? o_O

Simplixity 01-21-2008 07:42 PM

@xuv: seems like you pretty much know what you wanna do.

Geez Windy...long post much? xDD
And I suppose, I just don't want to worry about this type of stuff, especially since all my cousins got into really good schools and my parents are all like, "Oh, no pressure or anything, but you need to boost up your 3.75 GPA."

>.<

Wendy Darling 01-21-2008 07:45 PM

@Sim: Whaddya mean, long post? :o And a 3.75 GPA is plenty good enough. >___> I think you'll be able to get into pretty much any normal college around the States with that grade point average. Except maybe Harvard -- did you know one-third of their students make a perfect 2400 on the SAT? >_>

It's ridiculous. Brainiacs.

Dystopia 01-21-2008 07:46 PM

@ Windy - That's why I want to get a perfect 2400 on the bloody SAT. ._.;

Wendy Darling 01-21-2008 07:46 PM

@Anna: You want to get into Harvard, eh? :o

xuvrette 01-21-2008 07:46 PM

I personally don't like the hat. But I LOVE chocolate cake. and if it is handheld, I would love it more. Cake just doesn't look nice putting on top. :/

Which is why I ask people whether or not should I hoard it. :(

Wendy Darling 01-21-2008 07:48 PM

@Meave: If you hoard it, just because it's a limited item, no one else who doesn't get it before Valentine's Day will never be able to get it again. Meaning, the price is going to SKYROCKET. Inflation, big time, ne?

Dystopia 01-21-2008 07:49 PM

@ Windy - Damn straight. I'm determined to get in there and become a good doctor. And if not Harvard, at least a school in the Ivy League. I will NOT surrender. >O!

Simplixity 01-21-2008 07:51 PM

@Windy: I was referring to the post of yours before the one I posted under....

Yea..just forget about it. Lol. xP

Oh wow..talk about smart people..a perfect 2400? Well, good thing I'm not aiming for Harvard then huh? ^^

Oh nice, so you want the item price to skyrocket? Just so you know, it's people like you that's causing inflations...lol (j/k)

Wendy Darling 01-21-2008 07:52 PM

@Anna: Well, I got some stuff from Yale wanting me to come there, and I got a 2000 something on the SAT and have like a 6.5 GPA (because of honours and AP classes, plus I've made all As all my semesters so far). So, yeah, if you're in that boat, I say you're pretty good to get into an Ivy League school. :o Expensive shit though.

xuvrette 01-21-2008 07:53 PM

Havard? What is Dystopia studying?
I like teh name Ivy League. *chuckles*

yeah... but if it is itemt hat is ugly and hard to match, I will not spend a gold on it, and would even think twice if it is free item.

Simplixity 01-21-2008 07:55 PM

@Windy:
OMG...*swoons*
6.5 GPA? yea...I'm doomed...

I really wanna get into Cornell, doubt I will with my current grades, but I'm gonna keep trying. D8<

Wendy Darling 01-21-2008 07:56 PM

@Sim: Nonono, I'm just saying that's EXACTLY what's going to happen. I don't know why they didn't let it stay in stores forever like they're letting the Yumeh hoodie. Jelly and Knerd said specifically that the reason they were leaving the Yumeh hoodie in there forever was because they didn't WANT inflation. Now they bring this cake out, and it's like -- hello, it's limited edition; it'll inflate. >_>

EDIT: The only reason I have that GPA is because I've had SO many honours classes and five AP classes this year. That sets me at a 5.5 just for APs this year, plus all the other honours I've taken up to this point. My GPA is a 4.0 without the points, too, so they still think that's grand.

I've already been accepted to college, so my GPA doesn't really matter anymore. If I made Bs all this semester, it would probably just go down to a low 5 point something. XD;

Dystopia 01-21-2008 07:56 PM

@ Windy - Well... o_o; I usually get straight A's. I take Spanish and I know a pretty good amount of Korean. I plan to skip several math classes to make it into an AP math class from the lower class. And yes, my mission is insane, but there's no possible way I'm gonna let myself fall behind like this. *stubborn*

@ Xuv - I wanna be a Doctor.

kegokec 01-21-2008 07:59 PM

boredom... ._.

TakiNeko 01-21-2008 07:59 PM

*walks on in*

Hello people here. :3 I don't think any of you know me, but I'm looking for a place to hang out and eat cake. >w<

So what exactly are we talking about if someone can keep me informed. Seems like grades and inflation of items? x.x

Simplixity 01-21-2008 08:03 PM

Dys, if you know Korean pretty well then you should take the korean SAT II. It'll probably look good on your college application.

What math are you taking right now? Skipping is not recommended, it's pretty hard to catch up, especially if you go straight to AP.

And it's not that impossible, I mean you're not even in high school yet, and you've got a pretty good start already.

Dystopia 01-21-2008 08:05 PM

@ Taki - Hey!

@ Simp - xD I speak it pretty well. Reading and writing, I have mild issues with.
I'm taking Intro to Algebra. I plan to be taking whatever it is that comes after Geometry. Insane, wouldn't you agree?

xuvrette 01-21-2008 08:06 PM

dystopia~ lol. take every subjects that you can score! That is how I balance out my As and Bs. XD
and Doctor... is a good and bad busness. Good luck~

Dystopia 01-21-2008 08:08 PM

@ Xuv - Writing. I'm pretty sure I can score well there.

Wendy Darling 01-21-2008 08:09 PM

@Anna: See, that's good. Colleges loooove the foreign language aspect. It shows you can be flexible. You'll get in with that stubborn mentality. I'm just as stubborn as you are. >w< And you have a few more years to go, definitely.

@Kego: Did you call and harass Tommy?

@Taki: Yep, you've got it! Grades / inflation. Inflation of cakes, to be specific. XD; How are you today? ^__^

Simplixity 01-21-2008 08:09 PM

Dys: Ahh, well if you improve on it even a little bit, you'll have a huge advantage over a lot of people.

Oh wow..well, usually Algebra II comes after Geometry...and you would be missing out on a lot of basics if you skip geometry. If you really want to get advanced, i suggest you double up on geometry and algebra instead of not taking it at all.
