@Taki: Yeah, Colt Brennan was the one who got pulled out of the game because he got shaken up after maybe the ninth or tenth sack of the night. Then when you guys put your other quarterback in and he scored the first touchdown of the game, there was a clip that they briefly showed of Brennan and he was pitching a fit with a towel over his head.

I do respect you guys for having such an amazingly heartfelt team, though. They played their hearts out even though they lost. And when your band started to jump around hysterically and play after that first touchdown, I actually smiled -- it was so sweet. It's like, we don't care if we just scored our first touchdown in the fourth quarter; it's a good sign, nonetheless.

TakiNeko 01-23-2008 03:04 AM

@windy - Aww, thanks. It's nice to hear that from someone on the other side. :)

Okay guys, I have to go abruptly now. x.x Idk when I'll be back on, but probably after the event I'm guessing. So, bye for now!

Wendy Darling 01-23-2008 03:08 AM

@Taki: No problem at all! ^__^ See ya later, I might be in bed by the time you get back! ^^;

Simplixity 01-23-2008 03:11 AM

Hello peoples.

Sorry, I kinda wandered off..but in my defense there was this really good show on TV. xD

Wendy Darling 01-23-2008 03:14 AM

@Sim: Heyyyy, dearie. What show was it that you were watching? :o

Simplixity 01-23-2008 03:17 AM

Well, first at 7:30 I watched Monkey King with my little sis. Then I watched a really old Chinese drama that I remember from 3 years ago. And then..I just came back from watching cold case. So..yea. xP

xuvrette 01-23-2008 03:21 AM

3 years ago chinese drama? I wonder what it is.

Simplixity 01-23-2008 03:23 AM

I don't even know the title..it's this huge long name that has like 10 characters. x.x

It's takes place around the time of the Chinese Revolution, give or take a few years. Army life, basically, and then the life of a couple from when they first met all the way to the end.

-runs in circles-
o_O;

xuvrette 01-23-2008 03:26 AM

CHinese Revolution? Any dynasty?

Simplixity 01-23-2008 03:34 AM

Erm..no..no dynasties.
I'm not really sure, but it's some where around the time when mao zedong took over and yea..

xuvrette 01-23-2008 03:43 AM

Oh, ok, then it is after Qing. Anyway, that is the not the dynasty I would like to watch. I prefer tang, song, more. yuan is ok too.

Simplixity 01-23-2008 03:47 AM

Yeeeah...okie..
*pretends to know the differences between Dynasties*

Normally I prefer dynasty series too, I just adore the different dresses, and accessories, and such. And the evil concubines...lol

xuvrette 01-23-2008 03:50 AM

lol, Simplixity! That is the reason too! I love the dresses! Aww! The patterns! The silk! The sash! The boa! The everything1 especially the headress! THOSE are the cute cute dangling stuffs!

Wendy Darling 01-23-2008 03:51 AM

Gah, sorry I ran off. . . I had some issue come up that I got word from my friend.

My teacher's grandmother (practically her mother, because she raised her) died earlier, and she had terminal cancer, and my teacher is taking it VERY harshly.

Such a sad situation.

Simplixity 01-23-2008 04:00 AM

Aww, that's really sad.
I offer my condolences. =]

So how come you heard about it just now? And not in school or something?

Wendy Darling 01-23-2008 04:03 AM

@Sim: Well, my teacher had left Friday early to go see her in the hospice in the next state over because she knew she wasn't doing well at all. She came back this morning, then she died sometime this evening, so it's so ironic and sad that she left just hours before. She wasn't in school today because she was just worn out, and now she won't be around until maybe sometime middle of next week. She's never lost a family member, and she's still young, so coping is going to be hard for her. T_T

Simplixity 01-23-2008 04:10 AM

Yea...I'm never went through the grieving process before and I'm glad for that. But, it shouldn't even matter that she's young really. Loosing a family member is always going to be sad. I remember when my creative writing teacher lost his father he didn't come to school for 2 weeks and when he finally came in, he looked so sick and lost at least 10 pounds. And he's in his 50's..

xuvrette 01-23-2008 04:14 AM

That is just too sad. I hope everything turns out better soon.

My Cup Of Chai 01-23-2008 04:19 AM
