I don't mind tests
they are during class, and its not like I have anything better to do.
I actually test better than I do homework
So I will be getting a C then I get an A on my final exam and VIOLA, A!
:]
Yeah, high school sucks
Expecially when you are a freshman
>3>

Corrie 01-22-2008 04:21 AM

I don't like tests because.... there is so much to remember. =^=;;;

Ahh I am a senior and I still have no life. </3

Emo 01-22-2008 04:23 AM

Well, at least you're almost all done!
Do you know which college you are going to?

I hardly have a life
But I did go to the beach all day today
-is sunburnt-

Corrie 01-22-2008 04:33 AM

WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
Where I am it's so cold outside...inside is cold too! =(

Nuhhh I am so lazy that I still have to complete em.
I only applied to two colleges. One I still need to finish the essay and then that's it!
The other one told me they will let me know next month. =o
I won't be surprised if I don't get accepted, but ehh what the heck. 8D;
If all fails I'll just to to community.

I am proud of my rank in school though. :3 For some idiot like me to be 30 out of 997 students in my class.
beeeeast XD

Emo 01-22-2008 04:46 AM

Hiiii, Pearl! :DDD

How are you?

Pearl 01-22-2008 05:58 PM

I'm good, really tired though. Dx

Still have an essay to do tonight... a short one, but an essay nonetheless.

p.s
Do people use the word 'fortnight' in America? It's as common as the word 'week' here, but I mentioned it in a GD discussion once and everyone was confused. xD

I was applauded, in fact- according to some of them they'd only heard it in folklore. o.O

BettyBeat 01-22-2008 05:59 PM

Fortnight isn't used at all in America. Like others said - just in fairy tales and stuff. :]

Oooh Essay. Take a nap then work on it. :D

Really? That's so funny. xD

Nah, I sleep forever... plus if I wake up I'll be all grouchy and feel weird x_x

BettyBeat 01-22-2008 06:05 PM

xD I love subtle language differences like that. xDD

Well, then don't take a nap. :'DD

Pearl 01-22-2008 06:09 PM

But it's not really a language difference... you still have the word, you just regard it as mythical for some reason. xD

Why don't you use it? It's much easier saying "in a fortnight" rather than saying "in two weeks' time".

BettyBeat 01-22-2008 06:12 PM

We usually just say "in two weeks" (three syllables versus four with fortnight. xD)

I dunno, I think it just sounds fancier. xDD
