"Excellent..." He smiled as he opened a portal to heaven "...they will almost be ready by now, and please... dont judge my son too harshly. I was alot like him in my youth and i turned out alright, i'm just glad i met cassandra and she set me to the right path" He walked into the portal and it snapped shut behind him.

Meanwhile in the church, tyler, solan and a few other young gods were milling around the church talking strategy. besides tyler and solan there was a half snake man, a very wild looking woman dressed in furs and hides and although she looked to be middle aged she still glowed with the most incredible beauty, standing at her side was a massive black and grey wolf who seemed to understand everything that was going on. Also a young man who looked much like tyler but with pale grey skin and blue hair. Tyler was getting nervous waiting for arianna after he heard what happened with her employer.

Tyler was running through a plan of attack with several of his members when he looked up and saw her "Hello angel girl... have you come back to help us then?" He couldnt see her as well as he would've needed to see her new gifts but he knew it was her. something was different about her to be sure, but it was her. Solan looked up at her and quirked an eyebrow, he could sense the energy on her and it was truly puzzling.

Tyler nodded and smiled "Yes always... I've managed to assemble a few more allies to assist us in our assault..." He raised his hand and pointed to the half-snake man, he looked very grim with his human upper body and his lower body which was that of a great grey snake. his face also appeared to be very serpentine in appearance "...this is my cousin mortis, son of death himself..." He pointed to the wild woman and she smiled to amber "This is my aunt francine... and the large wolf next to her is her mate lupis... and hidden away among the rafters is my cousin Mark, the vampire god of halaron" The young man with his pale skin and blue hair dropped silently from the rafters and grinned as he looked to her

Solan stepped up and put his hand up in front of mark and mark stepped back "Forgive him, he's overly curious but my blood drinking friend means no harm... you look amazing, did michael change his mind about helping us after i cut off his hand? or is there another force at work here..." He reached up and touched her cheek as he looked into her eyes and saw the vague echo of his mother in her eyes

"The plan is the same as it was before, theres just more of us now. We'll all be playing distraction while you and solan get into position and when i give the signal you turn that skanky little girl out with all the power you can muster. Hopefully that much positive energy will weaken her enough that the rest of us can wipe her out before she comes to, Luckily we also have mortis so we shouldnt have any trouble putting her away for good" He looked her over and smiled before letting out a sigh "You look great... its too bad my father managed to get a reaction out of you first..." Solan rolled his eyes and swatted tyler in the back of the head.

"Ok... the creature is currently in the park, we have reason to believe its actually waiting for us there... lets not keep it waiting" the young godlings exposed and spread their wings, taking to the roof and then soaring off to the park, leaving solan and arianna alone. "They'll be fine, even if they die they'll just come back... we'll give them some time to really get her wrapped up in battle and then we'll go to them" He kissed her gently and smiled "If we dont actually make it out of this in one piece arianna i want to say its been a pleasure working with you..."

Solan nodded and smiled at her, after a few minutes he went with her to the roof and started flying towards the park "Now when we get there and we find this thing we're supposed to hit it with everything we've got... that should weaken it enough to allow mortis and the others to destroy it... if only tyler wasnt such a damn fool. This never would've happened if he had been more careful" Solan let out a sigh as they began to approach the park. The sky was lighting up with explosions of energy, all focused at a woman with black skin and glowing red eyes. Lightning arched off of her body and burned the ground beneath her as she deftly fought off the assaults from the various gods. the howls of lupis and francines pack filled the space between explosions as an army of wolves rushed out from the shadows, doing battle with lesser demons who swore themselves to the chaos when their masters died. "well arianna... looks like we're up next... are you ready?"

"Alright... lets do this... Follow my lead angel girl..." He flew towards the creature and began to hurl blasts of positive energy into the dark chaos creature. Darting around her quickly as the others hurled energy and whatever they had at the moment. Tyler lept into the air with his sword and began slashing at the creature, the two were battling fiercly as the energy rained down.

Solan dashed in behind the creature at the same time, smashing into the child of chaos and sending them both reeling to the ground where he released his own energy in an explosion of purity and light. The creature screamed and howled as it kicked solan away... the black tint of its skin had completly faded but it would soon be back. She turned her attention to the lesser demons who worked for her and with a wave of her hand she lashed out and ripped the life from them. She darkened again as he ran at her and slashed her across the stomach with his own massive sword. "Strike her again arianna! Shes almost completly drained"

Solan went to her side and knelt beside her, as he was about to speak words of comfort the creatures body rose and its head began to laugh. Tyler darted over and tackled the creature, plunging his own daggers into every organ in its body faster than it could react. Solan raised his sword and cleaved the head in half, saying his own prayers summoning a holy presence to obliterate the head of the weakened chaos beast. As its head sizzled away into ash its body stopped moving and tyler fell off of it backwards. They were all completly exhausted. Solan smiled to arianna "You did very well... your a credit to our race..or at least half of mine and all of yours."

"Yeah angel face... you're a hell of a fighter" tyler said as he slowly got to his feet. the others were beginning to gather "I think its time for a party... Feel up to joining us? I mean its not the kind of heaven you're used to but we've got good music, good food and i dont think your boss will mind if you take the rest of the day off"

Solan smiled as tyler opened a portal for them all, It lead to a massive hall where a feast had been prepared. There was music playing loudly, a band that kept the hall lively with its celtic style music. Servants were pouring drinks and setting plates all around them in this great golden hall, At the head of this room was a long table with many powerful beings, the gods of old halaron who had apparently come to help the young gods celebrate their victory. In the center of this table tylers father waved arianna over to have a word with him as the others got settled, Solan patted her on the shoulder gently "Go on... I'll get us something to drink, you go say hello to the old ones..." He was trying very hard to reassure her that everything was on the up and up, knowing how hard it was for angels to trust other beings of power.

"Dont be so stuffy my dear, this is a party... You've all done very well. You'll also be glad to hear i spoke with your god, he wants you to have a good time here and you can return to heaven whenever you're ready" He leaned down and touched her cheek gently "Perhaps later you could grace me with a dance?" he smiled in that charming and friendly manner he had developed over the centuries.

"He's not mad at you child... there are some of us that realize still that not everything can be done while following the exact letter of the law. You did what you believed right in your heart, which is as pure and beautiful as the angel whos powers you wield. It is within my power to take the power back... but without a proper body to contain it that power would simply fade away. I had hoped you'd be the one to hold it and keep it safe." He smiled as he picked up a glass of grape juice and handed it to her "Calm down child... you've done nothing wrong and you're not in any sort of danger or trouble. Just have something to eat and drink, have fun with the young ones and let yourself enjoy the evening." Solan walked up and bowed to the elder god

"Excuse me uncle... I hate to interupt but i was hoping to have a dance with arianna" David nodded and smiled

"As long as its alright with you arianna then go right ahead" David leaned back in his chair contently as Solan held out his hand to her

Solan smiled as he took her hand and put his other hand on her hip, keeping his own wings folded down as they began to dance. At the moment it was a slow romantic song and it was perfect, he smiled as he looked into her beautiful eyes. They moved around the dance floor perfectly, keeping great rythm and attracting quite a few looks from the rest of the gods.
