An Event Coordinator's duties vary by person...

I, myself, am on the storyline development department side... That means I'm responsible for writing character biographies, writing up the text version of the manga (in both full 'story' format and also the manga script format) - the up-coming May event will be the first one I write for. :3 I also am in charge of some other writing-related activities for the site. :3

I also am responsible for some amount of running after other staffers to make sure they have their sticky-events written up and ready to go for the event, making sure the pixelists are on-time with their graphics, and giving feedback wherever necessary.

I also do other things too, but they don't technically come under my 'job description' as an Event Coordinator. XD;

@'clockwork - XD True enough. I suppose I only regret that I am trying to save up for May or one of the updates before then and any alternate quest sets me back. XDD

I don't draw as much as I used to... the area I'm working on the computer in now is cold and cramped, so it's not conducive to artistic productivity. :B But I'm pretty good at it. XD So I have a chance, at least!

@whitebeast - On the test site avatars can equip whatever they want to - so of course I equipped the Atlantis coat straight away. XD It didn't look right on the female figure, and I will not rest until I get the coat or similar for female avatars. :3 (Either I'll bully a pixelist into doing some repixeling to have an Atlantis Coat (F) or I'll expand on my mediocre pixeling skills to repixel it myself! *determined!*)

I'll probably bother you about the coat anyway. XD I saw your shop on the Exchange the other day. XD My mule would probably enjoy the coat. XD

@Paprika - Thanks. XD I wanted to go for something simple for awhile. And I hadn't worn my Yumeh Hairpin in what felt like forever, so I built an outfit around it. :3

@Jayms_Fallen_Angel - Yeah, I expect locating the Atlantis Mask will cause me to tear my hair out excessively. LOL. But I can always move the Atlantis Quest to a secondary Quest if it proves too difficult to find and purchase or win it. XD

Yeah - in general, I try to buy rares before commons... It's just so hard to find some of the rares I do want anymore. XD;

The only rare I truly want a whole lot is the Chicky on My Head. The others I would like a lot, but am not going to throw away all my hard-earned gold upon to get it when I know there are people who want it more than I do. XD; But no one seems to be selling the Chicky. ;___;

I'm really and seriously not looking forward to when I put pencil to paper (or stylus to electronic tablet, for that matter) again... I'm going to suck so much. ._.

- Limited Edition items (while in stores),
- 1/2 price commons (while in stores),
- Rares that I have the funds for/have the opportunity to purchase,
- Commons in general.

I never bid in auctions. I hates them, precious! :B Even on eBay I just make my bid and if I get over-bid, ohwell!

Yeah - I thought about getting a Nature Cloak, because it's kind of cute in the right hands. But I realized it would be one of those items that sat in my inventory and was worn maybe once a year, and someone who would put it to good use and love it and pet it and call it George would be out one opportunity to purchase their dream item. XD That's why it's not even on my Quest list. XD

I did some drawing in February (sketches that I left with my friend I was visiting).... and I do concept sketches for possible up-coming Menewsha items quite frequently (but that's not 'art'). I just need to get back into regular practice. XD I'm pretty decent overall. It's just been awhile. @[email protected]; I think October was the last time I really drew seriously.

@whitebeast - Absolutely. :3 Actually, come April I'll give you a ring. I just want to make sure I keep enough gold on-hand to finish getting all the limited edition items I want. XD

@Whitebeast - I've finally purchased as many of the eggies as I can. XD (Three sets on my main and three sets on my mule.) The only thing I'm looking to purchase now is the gold St. Patrick's hat. XD

Then I want to try to get more extras of limited edition items before they're out of the stores. XD

@clock - I had about 3,500 gold during the Valentine's Event... I ended up spending about 3,000 of it on half-priced commons... And I didn't even end up getting everything I wanted. XD I just decided the other items weren't so expensive that I couldn't afford to wait until later. XD

I don't like auctions just for the fact that the potential to inflate the item's value on the market is so high. XD Because someone with 10,000 gold can afford to pay 1,000 gold for something that's usually only 650 gold. But the average person has to struggle to even get that 650. @[email protected];

I mean, I know it's not like you can run around and tell people with a lot of gold to spend to not purchase the rares that they want. It's their gold and they're entitled to spend it how they want. But auctioning makes things so easy to inflate. >_>;

Yeah - I like the Royal Cape a lot and I want the Hanukkah Cape as well, but the others are a bit 'too much' for me. :'

That's also a concern with other items... I only have one gown because if you own a gown, there is little wiggle room there. XD; To make the outfit unique from other people wearing a gown, you have to really work at it. @[email protected]; And that can get expensive!

I love those panda slippers. ._. I should go back to wearing my panda pajama outfit from way back when I was much more frequently poor and had only a few items. XD

Yeah - it's been such a cold winter this year. Between arthritis pains and cramped conditions in my usual drawing area (Ie: at the computer), I haven't really had the interest in drawing. XD; Concept sketches, at least, just take me the time to think about what I want to convey and making sure I convey that properly to the pixelists/those who decide that an item gets pixeled.

I am just noting, for my own records, that I purchased three extra pairs of raven and dove wings and one extra set of April Contribution Items for my future art contest. :o

Felt poor. ...So I went through my inventory and sold back several pieces of event commons I'd bought during events at half-price. I never, ever use those items, so I figured I'd prefer the gold. Left several items I don't actually use... I may actually use them in the future and I'd kick myself if I decided later I absolutely had to have them. XD;

With the new update, I went on a mini spending spree!

I purchased:

- the Golden Dragon Dress
- Necklace of Beauty
and
- Golden Dragon Tail Heels

Communicating with a seller of a few items I wanted, so my gold is going to take a sudden and very steep plunge whenever an arrangement is made. XD;

Sold back a fewww more items. I think there's nothing left for me to sell-back, though.

Purchased a few more St. Patrick's Day limited edition items for prizes for my art contest that will go up the moment the software switches. Speaking of... I'd better go save the formatting so I don't lose all that hard work. D:
