As Kano got closer to Suzu he caught the scent downwind and could tell that Suzu wasn't only with Naio but now he could distinctly smell Cain also. He glared and tried to pick up his pace; Wanting to get to her before something bad happened.
Suzu didn't budge when she heard Cain's voice from behind her, nor did she struggle to move when she felt him hold her hands to her sides. "Don't get my hopes up like that Cain... You know I have no heart" She smirked flexing her fingers. She bent her knees slightly, which lowered her body; She then pushed up off the ground and thrust all of her body weight up and over Cain's head. His wrists would never make the rotation, so he would have to let go or stand breaking a bone. Suzu moved away from him quickly before he could grab her again, she knew Cain could over power her if he really wanted to so she only had to hold out until Kano could get to her. Nisa struggled trying to get in an upright position, the wire rope binding her wrists dug into her skin as she sat up causing blood to seep out covering the rope. She cringed, the wire cut into her and it burned when she started to bleed. She looked around the small cell she was in, it was cold cement below her and three out of the four walls were exactly the same. She opened her mouth and tried to speak again, her voice still had not returned and her throat was really sore. She shook her head not understanding what was going on, all she knew was that she wanted out of this confined prison. She stood up and walked over to the steel bars and tried to look at the rest of the room, it was too dark and she couldn't see anything else. She set her forehead against the bar and felt it's chill against her skin just before getting an idea. She turned and put her back to the metal bars and pressed the wire rope against it as flush as she could and began to move her bound hands up and down creating friction. The wire cut into her skin more, causing yet more blood to fall from the cuts. Her blood now colored the steel bars and then dripped onto the cement. It appeared that her attempts to get free were in vain all she was doing was making the cuts deeper. Her face was now red from trying to fight back the urge to cry from the pain, she didn't want to stop yet. She thought she might be able to break her hands free at least, and if she was lucky maybe she'd spill enough blood that Cain would smell it. |
Cain diped down seeing Naio ready to atack the other..
"Fine if you want to be that way fighting it is..."Naio said and she dived for the older girl her eyes flashing brightly. She wouldn't kill her only for the fact that she still knew where NIsa was and she wanted to know too. Cain watched as the young girl flew over him to her to the blond. He was ready to ste in if any thing happned. He would not let Suzu and Kano get away with this. "Speak of the devil..." He said smelling the male returning |
Suzu jumped back several feet when she saw Naio coming towards her; Her eyes went bright red, her fangs extended and her claws came out. She had managed to avoid Naio this time, she glared at the silver haired girl "Now now, I never said anything about fighting little Naio" She smirked "I merely removed myself from a possibly dangerous situat.... Oh! I'm glad your back already" She smiled seeing her faithful partner now standing off set of Cain.
Kano stood quietly with his hands inside of his pockets, he didn't appear to be ready to attack anyone. At least not yet. Should Naio take any step closer to Suzu with intent to cause her harm he would waste no time at all rescuing Suzu. "I hurried back as fast as I could" He stated in a cold complacent tone. Nisa dropped to the floor of her cell after trying to cut the wire rope for a few more minutes. All she seemed to do was injure herself more, and color the bars and floor in her blood. She sat with her back to the steel bars of her cell and stared at the floor, she was sitting in a small pool of her own blood. She grew dizzy, finally the loss of blood was starting to effect her. She blinked slowly a few times trying to fight back the wave of sleepiness that come over her. She didn't want to pass out, not here of all places. She shook her head waking herself up a bit more; She wasn't sure how much longer she could keep herself awake. By now the scent of her blood was heavy, she'd lost a lot just from struggling with the wire rope that bound her hands. Her blood would slowly start to over power the smell of flowers that came from the small house where she was being held. |
Cain didn't move, he was crouched down still, but it was unmistakable he sent that was carried on the wind. The two older vampires would most likely not smell it. He smirked and tought ot Naio ""I have got her sent you got these two?" He asked She growled "God Cain your no use get out of here..." She said letting him know it was ok to go. She knew if she had told the other to get Nisa Kano would attack him but if he was just leaving he would leave him be. "I know you didn't Suzu... but if you want to leave here alive you wil tell me where she is..." |
Suzu smirked "So what is this? The poor little Prince of Takashi's coven is running away?" She snickered before turning her attention to Kano for a moment. She lifted her hand and motioned him over.
Kano nodded his head and then appeared next to Suzu. He still stood quietly though now he had a bored look upon his face. Kano would've rather followed behind Cain since he was leaving, but an order was an order and Suzu wanted him here with her. Jiro jumped up to the roof top Naio was on and stood behind her with a grin on his face. "Hey Naio" He paused smiling slightly. He lived right around the corner from where they were and had smelt Cain and Naio and two unfirmiliar vampires and decided to go investigate. "What's going on? and why wasn't I invited to the party?" Nisa had been resting her head back against the metal bars of her cell trying to find something to focus on, anything that would keep her from falling asleep. She pulled her head away from the bars and leaned forward slightly, hunching over. She wanted so badly to yell out of anger but her throat was still in no shape to talk. She felt another bout of sleepiness over whelm her and she fell forward smacking her face into the cement. Her uniform clothes now blood stained from her fall, she rolled over onto her back and stared up at the ceiling. She couldn't feel the pain in her wrists anymore and the pressure her body was putting on the wire wasn't helping matters. |
Cain said nothing and took off not even caring any more and felw off. He could smell her even stringer as he headed to the house. It was too strong, this wasn;t good
this ent his mind thinking. Had they feed off of her had they tryed to kill her. There was way to much blood. Naio glared and bit her lip "I don't need him for what I am to do here..."She said and smirked and crouched low to the ground as a cat would her fangs extending. Yet she smirked hearing Jiro and sighed "Can't any of you just let me kill these people on my own!"She asaid knowing none of the others knew about her past and wanted to keep it that way. |
Jiro let out a heavy sigh and like a child who wasn't getting their way plopped himself down on the roof; Sitting indian style. "Fine..." He muttered crossing his arms over his chest. "I'll let you play first"
Kano shook his head watching the other male vampires actions. "Pathetic" Was all he said. How could any male vampire act like that and still have their self respect. Suzu glared at Naio, until she was pleasantly surprised by Jiro. She shifted her glance and looked at the other male, he was quite handsome if she did say so herself. She smirked "Well, It's nice to see you still hang around with the cute boys Naio" She stated, of course referring to Jiro who was sitting behind her. She licked her lips softly, she had a thing for male vampires with black hair and his was so long and he was attractive which made him look even more appealing to her. She placed a dainty hand upon her hip. "Naio, if you don't mind I'm going to let Kano play with you" She grinned. "I want him" She stated pointing at Jiro. |
Naio go smiled and stood back up to look at the people before her. Her hands on her hips now glaring at her
as she started looking over Jiro like some kind of meat. "Don't you dare touch him you brat hes mine" She said blocking him with her body. "And No I will kill him in my own time you I will kill off fast.." |
Jiro's eyes went wide hearing what Naio had said. He uncrossed his arms and set them between his legs leaning forward a little "Are you being serious or is this just another joke?" He asked quite curious to know her answer, so much so that he was now ignoring the other two vampires completely.
Suzu smiled "How cute" She laughed softly. "If he's your's Naio, then why doesn't he know it?" She smirked "Or is it that you have yet to tell him how you really feel?" She paused and had a look of surprise on her face. "Oh! wait, or is because you're afraid to trust a man with your heart for the fear history could repeat itself?" Suzu usually tried to go out of her way to push peoples buttons, it was a hobby of hers. Kano had not moved yet, but he would as soon as Naio started to attack. He wasn't going to let Naio get near Suzu, it was his job to protect her at all costs. He looked over at Naio, grinning after he heard what Suzu said about history repeating itself. It was his fault after all that Naio was the way she was. He was almost proud of it all. Nisa had fallen asleep for a few minutes but managed to wake herself back up as she started to feel the pain around her wrists once again. Her eyes shot open wide as she cringed, it hurt and she couldn't see how badly she had been damaged by the wire. She rolled herself over onto her stomach and pressed her face against the cement as she used her knee's and pushed herself up to a seated position. She started breathing heavily, having yet more trouble seeing. She couldn't help but wonder when someone was coming back for her. She needed someone to look at her wrists and give her some medicine for the pain. She sighed heavily wondering if her captors would be nice enough to do either of those things. |
Her cheeks went bright red as they made fun of her.
She hated the way they looked at her the way they made fun of the way they tricked and killed her family. She glared at her "Don't you ever talk about that you have no right!"She yelled and ran for the younger girl her speed not great but her kick was low enough that Kano couldn't catch her at first. Cain moved closer and closer to the house before finding it hidden quite well to the untrained eye. He went in to it her blood was flung in to his face. He wasn't sure where to go it was time for a trile and error . |
Jiro sighed seeing Naio ignore him and then run towards the blonde vampire. He shut his eyes and slouched forward fidgeting his hands with his shoes. It was apparent that he was bored, not to mention bummed that he was ignored but it was also so very obvious that the female vampire had said something to anger Naio.
Suzu couldn't avoid Naio's kick, she had reached her too quickly for her to dodge or counter and Kano wouldn't be able to block the attack. The kick hit her mid-section with more force then expected and it sent Suzu flying backwards about eight feet. She fell to the ground and quickly lifted herself from the ground, holding herself up with her hands. She growled, clenching her teeth tightly. She didn't have to say a word to Kano because he was already on the offensive when she looked at him. Kano stepped forward immediately after Naio's kick had landed on Suzu and grabbed Naio's ankle before she could lower her foot. His eyes began to glow red and his grasp on her ankle tightened. He opened his mouth for the first time since he arrived "Naio, I never got the chance to ask you but what did it feel like finding out that your whole family had been slaughtered by the time you returned home that day?" He grinned and with amazing force thrust Naio up into the air and just before letting go of her ankle he pulled her back down and threw her into the roof below his feet. |
Naio smirked but growled low as Kano took her ankle,
she should have known he was still playing body guard for the brat after all of these years. Her heart lenched the thoughts of her sisters and parents laying there dead made her want to cry and yell all at the same time. "How d-d-dare you...you...you monster!" She yelled and went flying in to the the ground her body boucning slightly... |
Suzu by now had stood back up and laughed softly when she saw how hard Kano had thrown Naio into the ground. He was quite forceful and that took her by surprise, he must have still had some pent-up anger left inside him. She smirked, seeing that she had an opening to get to Jiro. While Kano was keeping Naio busy she walked a little closer to him, just before launching her body towards him. She had her hands out in front of her when she leaped towards him, once she reached him her hands latched onto his shoulders and she forced him backwards onto the ground; Then sat on his chest, forcing her spiked heels into his body. She had pierced her heels into the space between his neck and his shoulder on either side of his body. Her heels being so high, came out the other side of his body. She sat there, with a grin on her face as he cried out from the pain.
Jiro had not expected Suzu to come at him, let alone the girl having enough time attack him. He cringed when her heels dug into his body, they sliced through his muscle and came out the other side; Managing to avoid the bones at least. He glared up at the girl now sitting on his chest, he wanted nothing more than to rip her to pieces but now he was unable to move his arms. However should those steel plated stilettos be removed he should regain movement in his arms, it would just hurt every time he moved. He growled as he tried to move his arms, lifting them up so he could grab her would be enough but he couldn't move them. Not even an inch and he wasn't flexible enough to grab her with his legs. He felt so pathetic laying there, unable to defend himself and the only thought going through his mind right now was 'I'm glad Cain isn't here to see me like this' Kano watched Naio's body bounce off the ground and smirked, thrusting his foot to her throat applying enough pressure to make it hard for her to speak. He glanced up seeing Suzu fly past him and onto Jiro. He grinned looking down at Naio under his foot. "Looks like Suzu is giving some attention to that boy you claim is yours" He paused "Oh, and listen to that cry. Sounds like it hurts too" He muttered slowly starting to apply more pressure. |
Naio spit out what little blood she had in her as he
forced his foot on her neck. She glared at him her eyes teary from the thoughts he had put there. She moved up her arms to try and move his foot and could not find the strength to do such. As he spoke of Jiro and started to shake tears rolling off her cheeks.All she could let out was this "You... ass..."Naio hated them and would never give in not this easily. She moved to twist his foot to get it lose from her neck. Once she was free she moved to punch him but knew he could move so she had oher other hand waiting on the other so if he moved he would fly in to her fist. "I am not a a child... any longer no more the weak child you killed...tell me do you feel big knowing you killed a small child?" She said glaring at him. |
Kano didn't bother avoiding her first punch and when it hit him he stumbled back a few steps then stood up straight again. He shrugged "The way I see it, that little girl never died" He grinned "I'm staring at her right now, and she will never grow a day older" He stared at her shaking his head "You can continue to tell yourself you're not a child anymore but that is all you will ever be"
Suzu leaned forward looking down at Jiro's face, it was clear he was in pain still. She smiled and placed her clawed index finger on his cheek, then slid it down slowly causing him to bleed a little as she cut into his skin. "Ya' know you're even cuter when you're in agony" She licked her lip softly as she moved her claw and sliced down on his cheek again, creating an "x" on his face. Jiro cringed when Suzu leaned forward, it applied even more pressure to the stilettos still in his shoulders. He tried to move his face when she reached down to cut him, but she held his face still while she sliced into the skin. He only bled a little, considering he was a vampire he had a very small amount of blood in him. He hated the smell of his own blood and turned up his nose at the scent. He growled trying once more to lift his arms to attack the girl who seemed to just be playing with him. He finally lifted his right arm up, but it only caused the heel of Suzu's shoe to slice through more of his shoulder and he immediately dropped his arm to the ground and clenched his teeth together trying not to cry out from the pain. He was embarrassed at how weak he must look, but he didn't want to do anything to damage his body and that made it very difficult for him to fight back; He'd have to wait until Suzu got her heels out of him before he'd get revenge for the pain she caused. |
"I hate you... I hate you.... I hate you!" She wipred
the first part but as she went she got louder her hands and body shaking. He had done this to her he had made her a child forever. He made it so no one else would ever touch her with out seeing a child. "Why...why didnt you just kill me why make me in to this!"She yelled blind to every thing else around her. If she was clear minded she would have gone to help Jiro. Yet her emotions took her over not letting her move from this spot. She wanted to rip him apart but she could not still seeing the man she had fallen for as a small child. She wanted to much just to go back to that time. Wished he had just killed her with all her heart. "Your eivl through and through!" |
Jiro had been listening in on everything that was being said between Naio and Kano. Slowly learning things about the girl he didn't know before. He shifted his attention back to Suzu, who was still sitting on him. He growled angrily at her as his eyes glowed a different color then usual. They would usually glow bright red when he attacked or was feeding but this time they shined a deep crimson color. He completely ignored any pain he was feeling and lifted his arms up, even though they were being sliced into even worse. The stilettos hit bone and started to cause friction as he wrapped his hands around Suzu's arms. He yanked her arms pushing her to the ground as he sat up, now her heels were out of his shoulders and her legs were pointed up braced against the very shoulders she had damaged. He hissed pushing her harder into the ground as he stood up, once to his feet he grabbed one of Suzu's ankles and with an amazing burst of power threw her twenty feet off the side of the building they were standing on.
Suzu's body flew through the air and smacked into the side of another building. She was thrown so hard that her body left an imprint in the bricks just before she collapsed to the ground. Jiro still ignored the pain in his arms, he shouldn't be moving them at all right now and yet he couldn't feel the pain. It had to be something to do with the color change of his eyes. Was this something special that people who were born vampires eventually had the power to do? His gaze shifted to Kano, his original target from the beginning. He moved quickly, faster than normal and went unnoticed by Kano's eyes. He stood on Kano's right side "Leave her alone" came a deep, angry voice; Much unlike Jiro. He raised his hand and with all his might punched Kano in the face, in hopes of breaking the trance on Naio. He looked at Naio, his crimson eyes slowly fading back to their normal color just as he started to drop to the ground. He was in pain, everything hit him in a burst of excruciating pain and now he was out of energy. Kano was taken by surprise when Jiro appeared next to him, even more so when he punched him and caused him to fly off the edge of the building and straight to the ground. He didn't move right away, but managed to stumble to his feet. "...Where in the hell did that strength come from?" He muttered rubbing the side of his face just before realizing that Jiro had to get through Suzu first, in order to attack him. He had an expression of shock appear on his face as he stealthily moved around the base of the building and over to the ground where Suzu was laying. He knelt down next to her and placed his hand on her shoulder and shook her lightly. |
Naio heard the crash yet still had not moved wanting
the other to say something, any thing hey had not seen each other in five years and all he could say is that she was a child. She wass about to move when she saw Jiro there his shoulders bloody and torn. Her heart would have stoped if it had been beating. She saw the crinsion in his eyes and stood still. She was frightened of him but he through the otther male away with one shot to the face. Her face was stuck in a shoked look her eyes locked on the other. She ran to him side as soon as her feet would move from their spot. She brached a hand on his chest the other on his back to help him lay in her lap. "Jiro...Jiro...speak to me.."She said his words still ringing in her ears. "Leave her alone..." |
Jiro was luckily still conscious he took a minute to sort through the pain he was still feeling before he opened his eyes to see Naio above him. He smiled glad to see her "...A.a..are you.. alright?" He asked then clenched his teeth at the pain. He knew he must have looked really bad, a cross-cut on his cheek and both shoulders were dug into leaving small holes. He wanted to reach up and touch her face to reassure her that he was okay, but he couldn't lift his arms. He blinked slowly and then looked away from her. "I'm sorry..." He paused and sighed. "I didn't mean to interfere, but... I had to... after hearing everything" He mumbled as he started to look back up at her.
Kano continued to shake Suzu softly. She hadn't woken up yet. He glanced up at the brick wall and saw the dent her body made in the wall and shook his head. "I'm sorry Suzu... I didn't know he did this" He said as he slid his arms under her body and lifted her up. He held her close to him, tightly and sighed heavily. "We shall get him back, I promise" He looked at Suzu once more and then decided to take her back to the house to rest. She needed to heal and there was medicine at their hideout that would help her heal faster. He started running towards the house, but not as fast as he normally would. He had taken a bit of damage himself and couldn't move as fast as usual. Nisa still sat in the basement cell, she was starting to feel colder now. It must have been from the blood loss, her blood wasn't circulating correctly and it was trying to compensate for the loss. She swallowed hard and coughed falling backwards hitting her back into the metal bars. She hit her shoulder blade at just the right spot that she cried out from the sharp pain she felt shoot up her back "Damn! That hurts!" She spat, her voice was raspy and very hard to understand. Her throat was finally starting to heal a little from the punctures Suzu made with her claws. |
Naio smiled down at him lightly and ran a hand over the
others cheek softly. "Yeah I'm fine..." She said and shook her head "Look at you...she must have really liked you to put that on you..."She said running a softer hand over the X wishing she could make it heal."She ruined your good looks, now what will the girls do..."She joked but sighed "Jiro... you.. didn't have to almost kill yourself becouse of silly words..." She said sighing lightly but then remmbred," I... have good news... even if they get to the house they can't get Nisa for at lest as long as us..." she said and held up a kye she had snatched from Kano's neck when he through her in the air. Cain had heard her yell after surching for at lest a half houer. He ran to where he had heard the small sound coming to a bedroom. He looked around nothing was in it. "Damn!"he yelled out loud slamming his fist on the wall hearing something mettle rattle. He looked down and saw the run wad been moved and smirked going to move it once more to show the door."hold on Nisa I am coming..."He said going to open it but found it was to heavy. Something larger must be keeping it held there... |
Jiro smirked up at Naio "They weren't silly words, they were hurting you" He paused looking away for a moment "They took away your humanity, made you into something you didn't want to become..." He forced a smile on his face after such serious conversation "...and the girls, they won't do anything" He looked up at her eyes, with a warmer smile "Because you said I was yours"
Nisa lifted her back from the metal bars, it was throbbing from the sharp pain she had felt. She was slightly more awake now, thanks to the jolt of pain. She had no idea what time it was, she wasn't sure how long she had been locked up; She couldn't hear anything either, it was way to quiet down here for her liking and not being able to see outside of the cell scared her. She had no idea what else could be in the room with her, but at least she was somewhat protected by the bars. She let a sigh escape her lips just before she coughed again. Her throat was really sore. She shifted a bit and cringed again feeling the wire rope dig into her once more. |
Naio smiled "Thats over yet i still can't seem to let
it go..." She said looking at the ground but blushed bright red hearing thoughts words come from his mouth. "I..." She just wanted him safe she didn't mean it but hearing him say the words made her feel wanted loved. She hadn'r felt like this for a long time it scared her a little bit. "..Mine..." She wisspred and moved down to kiss the mark on his cheek his blood on her lips now. She looked like a china doll. She wanted to stay like this forver but moved and held the other to lean on her. "Come I have to get you top a safe place"She said and jumped from the roof top to the next then in to Nisa's window. She moved to her bed and gentlely set Jiro down on it. "Forgive me I have to go help Cain...but I'll be back..." |
Jiro cringed when Naio helped him up, then let him lean on her. His wounds were worse then he thought and there was nothing he could do about them right now. He felt like his arms weren't connected to his body, the muscle felt like it was detached from everything and just flopping around in his body. As Naio moved from roof to roof, he held his breath hoping to fight back the pain. Once inside of Nisa's room he started breathing normally again, and gave a sigh of relief as he was set down on the bed. All this time he had not said words he wanted to when she kissed his cheek, this wasn't a sensual moment in time and Naio needed to help Cain so he kept his words bottled up inside for another day. He looked up at her and smiled faintly "Are you sure you don't need my help?" He asked trying to prop himself up, as if he wanted to get up and go with her.
Kano had finally come closer to the house where they hid, Suzu was still out cold in his arms. He sniffed the air and smelt Cain. He glanced down at Suzu knowing well enough that he, nor she were in any shape to fight Cain too. It was bad enough that guy Jiro turned out to be a pure blooded vampire with no control over himself but now... there was Cain. Kano let out a sigh and jumped back a few dozen feet into some brush. He thought he might be far enough away that they would go undetected for now. He knelt down and laid Suzu under a bush, running his hand gently over her cheek. She still wasn't awake yet. She'd probably be asleep for hours, maybe even a day or two. He sat down on the ground next to her surrounded by different bushes and trees. He knew Cain was searching for that girl, and he would probably leave as soon as he found her. He would wait until then to return to the house. |
Naio smiled and sook her head placing a hand on his
shoulder. "No you saty here and rest let your body heal a little" She said and laid a hand on his cheek knowing the cut would not heal fully and sighed. "Th scar... its cute..." She aid and then moved to the window. "Please let yourself heal...I'll bring food back.." She said this then jumped out the window heading to the house... Cain growled banging the door he was fed up with this he knew where she was but he had no way of getting in the steal was to strong to yank open. He sat there thinking things over, he knew that she was in pain he could hear her it was terrable. "Nisa..." "Your pitiful you know that..."Came a small voice from behind him. It was none other then Naio standing there with the key for the door. Cains eyes went wide "Don't thank me thank Jiro I would be dead if he hadn't kicked some butt bacj there..."She said tossing him the key. She knew once the door was open she would lose controle. "I have to leave but take her to your room Jiros in hers and right now bring them in the same room not such a good idea..." she said and tuned seeing Cain understood. Cain nodded saying nothing knowing that Naio knew how thankful he was. He turned as soon as she left and opned the door with the key he had.The door burst open and he flew down the stairs. "Nisa!"He yelled looking around for her. Out of the cornner of his eyes he saw all the blood his heart sinking thinking the worst yet his heart jumped hearing her heart beat. He ran over to the bars and smiled. "I am here Nisa...I'm here.." He said and moved un doing the locks on the bars moving in to get her. He was over whelmed by the sent but picked her up any way. "shhh..." |
Jiro continued to lay on Nisa's bed for a few minutes before rolling himself off the bed. He hit the wooden floor with one of his arms, hard. He cringed and forced his arms behind him so he could sit up. He was only causing himself more pain by moving like this, but he didn't want to stain any of Nisa's furniture. He struggled getting to his feet and wobbling over to the wall behind Nisa's bed. He pressed his back against the wall and braced himself as he slowly lowered himself to the floor, seated as comfortably as possible.
Nisa was shocked when she heard Cain's voice and tired turning around as quickly as possible so she could see him, regardless of how close he was she couldn't see him until he had entered the cell and picked her up. Her body went limp in his arms as soon as she felt safe. She smiled faintly through the pain, her vision slightly blurred; She couldn't clearly make out his face but she knew it was him. Her body by now was nearly frozen, her body and uniform were covered in blood, her throat still had claw marks on it, she was having trouble speaking her face was bruised from being smacked by Suzu and her wrists were still bound by the wire rope that still cut into her skin. |
