Raise the dead!!
Now we all know from reading comic books that death is a condition thats easier to get over than a rough head cold... but for some reason some characters when they die actually stay dead. Does anyone else here have a list of characters they want to see come back from the dead? i wont limit it by company, just an in general will suffice.
Personally i was always fond of banshee from the x-men, as i understand it he's still dead... which is a shame, he evolved from a stereotype of irish folk to a deep and complex character with a family. It'd take alot of explaining but i'd love to see him come back. |

For the record though i'm talking about actual comic book characters, not really so much the manga characters. They get enough time on the manga boards but the actual comic boards here just like at the local bookstores seem to be more than alittle neglected.

Surprisingly, I can't think of any characters I want to come back. I much prefer characters who die to stay dead.
I wouldn't mind seeing Banshee return, though. It just seemed like writers had no idea what to do with him, so they killed him for shock value. Though his death has provided Siryn with some great scenes in X-Factor, and if he were to come back, that would prove her assumptions correct and, in my opinion, ruin the poignancy of those scenes. |
Ted Kord, the blue beetle. As amusing as Jamie Reyes is, I just miss Ted. He was...yeah. Ted was great.
Also, I would have preferred that Bart Allen not be killed...but since we already KNOW he's coming back, same with Connor Kent... Jason Todd also should have stayed dead. Spoiler - Stephanie Brown is my biggest issue. For a long time, she was SUPER controversial for DC because of her death. Now they're trotting her out for round two. Not sure exactly what's going on yet since that's in progress...but I dunno if I wanted them to bring her back, as much as I loved her. Doesn't Robin have enough on his plate? |
