EEK! Critique please!
I was just randomly drawing and I drew this. Please give me your honest opinion of what you think!

woah!!
me likes! *plans to steal her outfit* hm...let's see. The hair is a bit low/small. You could draw her bangs a bit lower, I think. Also, I can't really see her arms. I can see how you're trying to make it look like her arms are behind her back, but it's blending with her body, so you can't tell. haha, te only reason I know this is because I can't do any better. =] other than that, it's very VERY lovely ^^. good job! |
Yeah, the thing about the arms is the one thing that I didn't like. I have another one... I think I'm going to post it too
|
Ooooo. I like the second one's hair. It reminds me of someone I know.
The cap is a bit 2-Dimentional compared to everything else. I wouldn't know how to fix that either. And the legs are a bit think, unless those are pants. Sorry, I can't tell. But it's good. *sigh* trenchcoats are awesome... |
Eek! Yes, those are her legs >.< I draw so oddly
|
Oddly isn't bad! It's good to have your own style(as opposed to copying others..ew, plagerism)
Like, I draw chibi that's not exactly chibi, <.< It's more like a mix of chibi and other stuff. |
I'm still learning... not doing great, I
m shaky with a pencil... |
I'm not that good either.
actually, I'm terrible! I can't draw proportionaly. and coloring is evil. ^^ |
Being porportionate is my probelm... XP

The chins seem to be too rounded, and the necks are a bit too short. As for the hair, they seem to stay straight sticking out, but if you look at other people with long hair, that doesn't happen, the hair, falls instead of sticking out. Another thing is the nose, they look as if they are bended to the side while we are looking at these characters from straight on. One more thing is the coloring, try coloring in the same direction instead of getting impatient and coloring in all these different direction. If you color them in the same way [all going straight up and down, or all horizontal, or any other way] it would make the picture to "flow" more. Also, the legs in your drawings seem to be straight, but in real life, legs curve and are not straight and shapeless. Practice more, and you'll improve! :]
|
I like them the only thing I have to be picky about is her bangs I love the hair but on the first on the bangs could be lower and the legs a littleless straight I love you picture and the colours you choose good luck trust me I'm still practiceing too :)
|
The female's waist needs to be a bit more.. noticable. Neck a bit longer... nose smaller.. eyes a bit more lower on the head.. The shoulders are good. Eyes are good for the style you're probably going for. Feet good..
Might need to work on faces a bit more and hair. Other than that it's looking alright, just need to practice some more and use other pictures as reference so you can get proportions right and such. That's all. ^^ Good luck. |
wow those are good reminds me of my drawings from when I was younger
|
The coloring seems pretty messy on both.
The anatomy is kinda off on them. For example, the bust looks too big on the girl. Her arms look too small compared to her body. And on the boy, his head is too small. Also, legs are not stiff lines. And try to work on the folds of the clothing. Plus, hair isn't a blob of color. They have lines and junk. |
Maybe in the beginning outline it first then colour it in. The hair should be a bit fuller at the top and give her a waist so you can see the chest.
|
I think the eyes are too high up on the face. You could also work on the coloring.
|
I would actually work on anatomy first and foremost. What it looks to me is that you drew and colored along. That isn't a good idea because you don't get the idea of proportions well it becomes off. It's always good to sketch first.
