Pancake Day! :D
It was Pancake day today! Everyone made pancakes either for breakfast or for super, and my English teacher even brought in a grill and made some for us! He didn't put money in them, though. I did get 4$ this morning from my parents, though!
I told this to my friend in Eastern Asia, and she was like 'WTFPANCAKES!?', because while she's only living there temporarily, she's never heard of Pancake Day! Oh boo, I said. I enjoy holidays like this, because even though it's not something I'll get a day off for, I think it perks up my normally dull day. So, GD, how was your Pancake Day? Full of pancakes, I hope. Did you even notice it? Do you even know what it is? |

I've never heard of pancake day either but it sounds like a great idea. lol I wish I celebrated pancake day. Maybe I'll celebrate it next year. *write date down*

We forgot to make pancakes at lunch, so we made them at 5pm and made so many we decided that that would be our dinner instead of the steak we were going to have.
My Mum had leftover curry gravy on her pancakes =x That just seemed wrong. I thought sugar and lemon sounded like a nicer option. Kind of pointless me celebrating pancake day, as I don't participate in lent, but my Mum tends to give up something for lent, so I may as well keep her company eating the pancakes the day before xD |
Actually, it's the same for me. When I was a kid we used to do Lent, but I haven't done it in a while, considering I'm not that religious anymore.

oh wow. My friend mentioned something about pancakes today, and NOW I get what se was talking about. *cries* I've already finished dinner and did not have panckaes today. I shall make some on saturday to make up for it! ^^ |

I looooooove pancake day. My like, FAVE holiday. >w< I'm a lemon and sugar fan, so last night I went to the grocery store and got some lemons. My mom cooked them this morning~ :] And of course, I put seven teaspoons of sugar on each pancake. x3 This day makes me very happy. :3 <33 Nothing happened at school [I live in Americaaa~] but my mom still remembers. It was exiting. :DDD |

Nummy nummy pancakes... The caf ladies made pancakes in my school, although it was only available to the teachers. All the hallways smelled like pancakes though. I know in my elementary school we would all go bowling and eat pancakes today, tons of fun!! |
Wow! And I actually had pancakes today. I hardly ever have pancakes. I guess that special pancake-part of my brain just knew what today was xD

I completely forgot the fact that it was pancake Tuesday. So that's why there was pancakes on the counter when I came home. It's all making sense now.

I am disappointed though... I didn't eat a single pancake today even though it was Mardi Gras. I really wish that I was still in my elementary school so I could eat some. My mom makes pancakes on weekends anyways so pancakes aren't an extremely special thing to me. |

I feel like your friend I have never even heard of pancake day. It sounds quite fun though (although, I'm not too fond of pancakes...plain pancakes are too plain, maplesyruped pancakes are too sweet) I'm picky! :3 |
