I don''t remember well as it was about 2 years ago when the Halloween event comes up, but I think the first thing that came to mind was something like "Thise place is intere- ooh panda slippers..."

My first thoughts? That it was a forum.. probably would be just as bad as Gaiaonline -glares- and go down hill just as fast. My second thoughts where 'aww cute Avvies' my third was 'ugg that is a lot of money' my fourth was 'boy they sure are nice here helping me get my first item' and the fifth was 'wow im on my second item on my wish list' my sixth was 'the Mods TALK TO US NO WAY'.. beleave me they dun on gaia my Seventh and Eight was 'hey they didn't warn me and I did two goofs they just fixed them for me'.. so over all i have nothing but GLOWING words for this place.. and I'v eonly been here ONE DAY I cannot wait to see what its like when I've been here a week.

Well...for the first 4 days I've been here, it has been a little difficult to earn gold, but people have been so nice and have donated items and gold to me that it's been fun! And I really love the avatars, they're so pretty!<3

My first thoughts were that this site had some pretty art on the homepage. xD Then I saw the avatars and thought they looked a bit different, but I've decided that I really like them. They are much better then some that I've seen on other avi sites. I decided to join and check out what the people were like... and I can honestly say I was shocked at how friendly everyone was... for some reason I wasn't expecting that. ^^;

I just joined yesterday as well and I thought that this place was much friendlier than Gaia, I'm really glad I found it =3
With how big Gaia has gotten I find it hard to find more people like me, and a lot harder to make friends. The staff wasn't real great either, I NEVER saw staff members anywhere. The much smaller community here is much better. And even though it's a bit harder to earn gold, the items are a lot nicer, the hair is better, and the people ON Menewsha type 100x more literately than the flocks of people on Gaia. Overall, this is a great site. c: |

Kind of inbetween, really. I got really frustrated trying to make my avatar, because I had to go down the drop-down list and click "Save" each time to see all the hairstyles and eyes and everything. x___x I'm sure the difficulty of earning gold was a frustration when I first joined as well (I didn't really notice it when I came back yesterday because I got 3k from something). Customising my profile came across as rather complicated too, so I didn't bother.
But I really like the layout, it's very friendly and reminds of me of Gaia waaay back when. ^^ I also like the forums and the community, everyone seems pretty friendly and literate. |

I loved it and found it to be a breath of fresh air.
The group of people that welcomed be did an awesome job, and I really enjoy the pixel art here. Which just added another couple of incentives to stick around. The community seems really social, literate and at the same time just somehow different from other sites. I'm not sure what it is yet, but I'm trying to figure it out. :) |

First I had like no idea how to make money And I Was naked!! I was thinking that I wanted to get some nice clothes but when playing games I only earned like 2g when game over appeared!!!! I then found out about the forums and started to like it better... My only problem still is that I can't make up long story's! I'm doing better and better but still... Than most people say "go sell art"... Well I'm not that good :P haha So that's pretty much it |
It's hard to earn gold here, but i like it that i have to post to earn gold. I tend to lurk too much.

That was my first thought of Menewsha. :] I love the fact we have to post and the characters in the post are the amount of gold you get, just because it encourages proper typing&what-not. Makes it a little more bearable and I'm not as much of a b-word here. :P I don't like the avatar feature that much though. D: I can't stand having to press "Save Changes" to see all the hairstyles...x_x;; I do like the avatars themselves though. They're very cute. :] AND they have my hairstyle! <33 (Yes, my hair is very similar to what my avatar has.) |
I entered the gate of Menewsha just a couple of days ago, and I was thinking, "This site looks hard. . . Just like a mini site of GaiaOnline." But yeah, turns out I was wrong. I realized that it's very different, of course! My first impression when I joined was, "Uhhh... where's my avatar??" Looking up, I found my little self nekkie. He he... It's pretty hard to earn gold here on Menewsha, and that's what gets me ticked on. But after I stayed here, and played games, and chatted in the forums, I realized it wasn't that bad! <3 And earning gold like this actually makes you LOVE what you buy, and buy it with appreciation. However, I would be glad if there were more sources to earn gold from, besides games and forums; And competitions... I'd suggest for the games that there would be more so that it can be easier for people, and sort of like Gaia. Doing everything earns you gold. Well cause it's sort of hard to gain gold here :\

I joined for the detailed items. I joined Gaia when it was 'born' and loved it.
I was refereed here by my gf and loved the detailed items, so I joined. This was all 8 or 9 hours ago. Love it even though gold earning is slow, but then again I am used to millions on Gaia. I can get used to this though. |
I'm from Gaia, although it's been a while since I've been on now. Although it's been so long since I've gotten on my account after I lost my items. I've always secretly wanted to get back on, or find a site that would be just as entertaining. (and I guess this is it)
Today is my first day on Menewsha, and I have to say I was a bit excited and nervous. I was excited cause it's similar to how Gaia was before, and that much I really like. I was nervous because I wasn't sure what the site was like. After being on and browsing for a while, I can tell that I like the small community of literate people. I just hope no one gets mad at me if I mess up; like accidentally sign my name at the end of the post. :roll: I'm hoping I won't be "nekkie" for too much longer, either. :] heh. |
When I first joined it kinda seemed somewhat boring. Started to join in the forums and was a little more interested then but I also go to solia and find their forums about as interesting. Did find Menewsha more mediated which seems like a real good idea unless it is one of the mediators that are somewhat biased. I find most of them to be fair to all sides and just trying to keep the peace. On the whole for a forum site it is interesting. Though it is very hard to get gold and besides the forums it is somewhat more boring than Gaia. I really like the way the avis can interact on Gaia and the market place they have going.

I honestly don't remember what my first thoughts were. It has been so long since I joined.
I don't even remember how I got here. I know how I got to Gaia, I was sick of Habbo and found a link to Gaia when I searched it. And I believe I was on Zantarni when someone mentioned they were a member of all the smaller avi sites including Menewsha so I decided to check it out here. I'm just not sure how I got to Zatarni. I do remember what it looked like, and the scepter sets just came out so I busied myself with obtaining a set. |
