Amber jumped at the sound of Leoroar's voice. She quickly closed teh widnow. "Just a friend.. from boarding school.." she said. |
Leoroar was startled by her reaction so he decided to say," okay."
|
((Gotta go guys!))
Amber nodded. 'So.." she said looking around teh room, "What do you want to do? Watch t.V?" she offered. |
Leoroar laughed and said,"sure. whats on the t.v.?"
|
((I have a few min....))
Amber shrugged, "Let' see." she said grabbing the remote and turning on the t.v. It opened to a new report channel and once agaiun Henna's face flashed across teh screen. She tried to stay calm and show no emotion. |
Idox sighed. "I told you, I'm happy with this life. I like living dangerously, it's just in my nature," he said, quietly. "Don't worry, okay? I hate making girls cry."
|
Henna decided to turn the TV on, only to find her face flashing across it again. She started shaking and she sank to her knees, staring on in horror as the new reporter repeated his words from that morning;
"Should be considered dangerous and a threat to all" Henna screamed, throwing the remote at the screan. "It's not true! I'm npt what they say!" |

Idox snapped a bit. "Dangerous...?" Idox grabbed a gun from it's holster. "There is no way in HELL Henna could be considered dangerous!" He emptied a clip into the television. Realizing he had just opened fire and destroyed Henna's television, he was filled with regret. "...I'll pay for that," he said, feeling rather stupid.
|
Henna's eyes widen for a few moments, staring at her destoryed TV. Then, a smiled spread across her lips, and she began laughing. She didn't know why, but she found it hilarious!
"It's okay, I'm getting a new one!" she giggled. "I can't believe you shot my TV!" |
Idox laughed. "I'm a little bit high-strung. I should probably lay off the drugs and coffee."
|
"Poor girl," Leoroar said while shaking his head,"to be misunderstood. I'm sure she didn't mean to kill the boy." Leoroar started thinking about the guy he had killed 4 years before. his face turning a little pale.
|
Henna looked at him sadly. "I wish you'd lay off the drugs!"
She sighed, turning on the radio would probably have the same affect on her. She guessed they had reports on the radio as well as the TV... and she dreaded the day when they'd start hanging up posters! |
"You know, we could stop them," Idox said. "Them putting your face all over the news, hearing about it on the radio. We could stop it."
Idox relaxed. "I've got more than enough connections to get the right tools we would need. We could entirely delete your criminal record and silence the people who wrote these reports," Idox said, smiling. "And I don't mean kill. Just send a... message." |
Henna was really tempted by the idea, but she shook the thought from her thoughts.
"Bernie says I could get it erased later on if I have good behavior!" she said. "Besides, Henna Rose and Henna McLaughlin are two completly different people according to the government. There is no way that someone could put the two together unless they knew me personally enough or they hacked into files!" |
"A name isn't enough to change it, Henna," Idox said, softly. "First off, you kept your first name. You also have the same face." He sighed. "There are people who want revenge on you, right? We can get rid of their attitudes."
|
"B-but I like being Henna McLaughlin!" she whimpered. "She's a good person, who has never done anything that had to be hidden away! She is a sweet, kind girl who works hard! Not a murderer! If I change try to stop the searches then I'll have to change my identity again and leave all this!" She gestured around her to sybolize her new life.
|
"I never said anything about killing," Idox said. "I have connections, as I'm sure many people in your past do." Idox sighed. He did that a lot. "You can't run from who you are. You don't want to end up with split personality disorder like I had. I'll respect your decision either way, but I have to go now." He took a piece of paper and a pen and wrote down his cell number and the address of the Anthill, and then handed it to her. "You can reach me at either of those, but you have to think," he said in sort of a condescending way. "Which Henna is the real one? You talk of Henna McLaughlin like she's another person. Maybe she is." Idox kissed Henna on the forehead and left, walking back to the Anthill.
|
Idox's words played and replayed in her mind over and over. Which Henna is real?!
She couldn't be sure, Henna McLaughlin was who she was now, but she had been born Henna Rose. This sent a shiver up her spine. She felt suddenly cold, from tips of her fingers, to her toes, to her heart. Shuddering, Henna walked to the kitchen where Bernie was scribbling away at a note pad. She looked up at Henna. "You've had a rough day!" she said as Henna sat down. "Want me to make you something?" Henna nodded. |
Idox slowly approached the Anthill. Nothing seemed out of place, except for a black Mercedes parked in front. He smirked and walked into the building. The weapons dealers were here, and just leaving. John had finished the deal. When they left, Idox took a look in the weapons closet. A new stock of AK-47s lay fresh against the closet wall, along with a minigun. He went into his room and laid back. He poured himself a cup of coffee and sipped it. He felt like a king.

"What's wrong?" Amber asked surprised as she watched Leoroar's face pale. |
"I love you and I will see you in a few," Mirabelle called out to her boyfriend before she closed the door with her foot. In her hands lay a cake she had made for a very belated Valentines Day present. "I hope Henna will understand that I did not have any time until now to make it," she said to herself.
The time it usually took to walk to Henna's home was about five minutes, give or take a minute. However, it was nice out and Mirabelle decided to take her dear sweet time, so the walk took around ten today. When she arrived on Henna's doorstep, Mirabelle took a minute to fix a loose strand of hair and to get situated. After she decided she was presentable, she rapped lightly on the door. |
Bernie scurried to the door. They had many visitors today.
"Yes," she asked, once she'd open the door. "Can I help you?" |
Leoroar looked at Amber and considered whether he should tell her. He decided that it would be better if he just got it out of the way and hoped for the best. "Amber, I have something i need to tell you," he said with his face pale white.
|
Amber listened, "What is it?" she asked in curiosity. |
