Sethirius: Wow, that must've been scary. I'm glad you didn't get hurt :3

And lots of near death experiences have been posted o__o I'm glad I've never had one. I'd probably live the rest of my life being extremely cautious and not do anything remotely dangerous.

Sethirius 02-17-2008 01:39 AM

Nemui> Ah, hehe. Well it's to be expected thought isn't it? Boys will rescue you, then make fun of you later. >3>;;

JamesB14> Haha, but then you'll never experience life!

I've had a couple near misses... Though most of them involved freshly mopped floors. I go skidding on them all the time and have to grab something most of the time to regain my balance. I have yet to go to the floor but last time I slipped I almost missed the handle I had to grab onto to keep upright.

The fall resulting would have been a real mess. I would have either hit the back of my head or face planted right onto the hard floor. >.< Worse part was, I knew the floor was wet and that I needed to be careful, but I had to go in that direction anyway.

I fell inside the box crusher at one of my jobs once and was too short to get back out again. The boxes got stuck so I had to get in there and push them down with my feet because I was the only person who would fit and my feet went straight through the box and I fell into them and got caught. I could no longer reach the lip of the machine to get back out again. the manager started freaking out because no one could get in there to get me. I was pretty scared but I was able to scramble up some more resiliant boxes and get out safely.

I almost died at the bank! We were sat down and they were trying to give me a credit card >_> As if I'd actually get one >_> Then out of nowhere the huge picture frame suddenly falls. Thank heavens I have good reflexes, I darted out of the way and the thing barely missed me. We were in hysterics after that :P

My day was hardly eventful, I woke up and played animal crossing x]
Then took a shower.
I haven't had any near death situations recently,
but when I was very little my dad left me in the car while it was in park.
and I guess he went to this gas station really quick.
While he was out I was sitting in my baby booster seat and kicked the gear out of park and into reverse or drive. something like that XD
the car almost rolled down a cliff,
but luckily there was another car parked there that stopped the fall.

The person tried to sue my dad for hitting it but apparently it wasn't their car to begin with it was stolen

As for work, you reminded me that I need to go apply for jobs right now @[email protected]

My day was uneventful except for I had gone away for a week due to an lost in the family so when I got back today I had like a ton of things to do. My band director was also mad (until he found out why I was gone, at least he isn't that big of a jerk) that I had missed the big concert that had tooken place durring the week I was gone. But there was like one thing that kept me going today there is this total hunk that moved into my theature arts class, I love that class even more now lol.

My day was a serious waste of time. I went to visit a college, but all they did was talk about themselves. >< I wanted to see like what the buildings/classes are like and the dorms and such but they gave us like a 15 minute UBER brief tour. The speeches and such were like 2 hours long!! O__O

As for near misses, I almost ran into a pole a couple times and almost fell into the tracks while waiting for the train. XD The last part was only because I was so tired from the boredomness of the college visit. D:

I almost died before. When I was ten or eleven, my brother and I were going to visit our grandmother and she met our dad halfway (she lived like an hour a half from him so it was a really long drive) and picked us up. Well, she's driving along and out of nowhere, this car literally rolls across the road in front of us and into the embankment. It had to have been less than a foot from our bumper, upside down and when it rolled back, we'd only just barely made it out of range. When we got back to her house, everyone was all relieved saying how worried they'd been because of this really bad accident on the road we were on. Apparently after that car finally stopped rolling, landing upside down too, several other cars hit it and each other causing a huge pile-up and everyone in the accident died.
It was a pretty terrifying experience, even when I was little and didn't really understand everything that was going on.

@ Sethirius-Wow! that was a close call! I would have been scared out of my wits if that happened to me. how heavy was the box? Do you have any idea of why it fell?

I never really had any close calls my self but I know people who have.*shudders at the very thought*

Fabby 02-19-2008 02:31 PM

It seems like every time I go out I almost get hit by a car. It's always my fault, though. I'm one of those people that's too lazy to walk down to a crosswalk, so I'll go out into the middle of the road and stand in the turn lane waiting for a break in the cars. At my dad's there isn't a light for a block in either direction when I want to cross the street to go to King Soopers, and due to the aforementioned laziness I won't walk that block when all I need to do is go directly across the street. Unfortunately, there's a bend in the road so I nearly always get hit by a car crossing the street. It will look safe, so I'll start to scamper across when I see a car come around that damn bend and then I'll start running. I'm so safe e__________e I am going to get hit by a car one day, I swear.

Hmm, maybe 20 pounds but it would have been directly on my head. x.X;;

It fell because someone was pushing it on the other side.

*reading about everyone's near misses* OwO

I thought I was going to die the other day. My sister and I were delivering newspapers and I was hanging halfway out of the window when she decided to take off because there was a car behind us. Not only did I almost fall out of the window, but if I had then I could have gotten run over by the car behind us.

Actually, I had a few near death experiences when I was really young..
When I was still a baby, I was in the backyard with my brother, and I was in a walker.
My Dad went inside quickly to get the phone, and I walked myself near the pool. My brother was playing near the kiddie pool, so I wheeled myself towards him.
I grabbed onto the side of it, and I alost toppled headfirst into the pool. My brother only about three years old, kept my head above the water why I was screaming, and he began to scream for my dad, who quickly came back out.
Also, When I was about five, My mom took my brother and I with our stepdad on a hike. We were near a lake at the time, and it was muddy. I slid into the lake, and I was not a good swimmer. My stepdad jumped in after me, and dragged me out. My mother made sure to hold my brother's and my hand for the remainder of the hike.

... I 'm sure there are other experiences, but my head is hurting thinking about all them.

I almost had 100lbs of rat feed fall on me today. It made me mad even more so because I knew the shelf it was on wasn't stable and it wasn't fixed like I asked it to be. Keep in mind the shelf's about 5 feet off the ground so that's quite a fall for that much feed.

I fell off my friends huge bike onto the road before when I was like 8 years old, and then this truck was speading, and like the tire would've smashed/pancaked my head if it hadent like moved two seconds earlier. and my friends were just standing there and I was soo scared I never rode big bikes again.

Alright. Here's my day. It's usually better when I'm... hyper-active and acting very stupid. I got on the bus with my neon pink Hillary Clinton poster. >_> I go to the cafeteria to call someone a Vampire and have a odd discussion with them. English is always entertaining, and my favorite subject! Mr. Smith does an AMAZING job. I actually LEARN >_<. So, we read some poems today, and it was about sex. XD But... it wasn't vulgar. So, yeah. We can read it? xD
Chorus- Teacher wasn't there... so Sight-reading worksheet, eating my friend's Ginocchi (I think it's spelled) from her cooking class. And watching ANNIE. Which I sung to the whole way through. EASY STREET...
Government-Boring as usual. >_< Too many worksheets... and then we go to lunch between it, so when we come back my sugar drops and I'm even DEADER. Also. I got called an over-achiever for making a 97 on a test, I don't know HOW I passed. And bringing in my Clinton project 5 days early.
What? It was an easy project. >_>; And a Creative one... which drives me?
Then Business Data Applications- which she springs that our stupid Database House project is due... so I'm trying to figure out my queries >_< and make them work. Which I do... after cheating some. *Coughs.*
Also, my friend, who I made the mistake of telling him I liked his "home boy" is apparently TELLING him things or just getting me rilled up. >_< And this guy is in my government class.. right across from me. Oh, joy. I've got some MURDERING to do.
Anyway, I came home... ate... and slept. And took my brother home in the pouring rain.
Also, the book I'm trying to read is extremely difficult and not entertaining me... so. I'm giving up on it. xD

Emerald Skye 02-22-2008 02:05 AM

Well, I hate my job, very very much so, can't wait to be driving then I can get a better one. Anyway, yeah, I went to work, and they sent me home because they didn't need me today :/....Whooo! ^_____^
