By means of equal in presenting characters, Beauty and the Beast is the best.
And most other stories are mainly female focused~ <3 So I don't mind~ haha. Ironically, I don't like Sleeping Beauty. Because all she does is sleep. haha. I like woman to work for themselves instead of waiting for prince to save. |

@xuvrette: Yeah, I really like the Beast. He's pretty complex for Disney and I relate the most to Belle compared to the rest of the Disney girls. Well, Aladdin is focused more on him than on Jasmine. Well, Sleeping Beauty couldn't really help that she was sleeping. xD Plus, I love the part where she and the prince are singing once upon a dream. That song is amazing. But I understand, I feel the same way. I like how Belle saves the Beast for a change. xD |

Sukiki, you know Sailormoon? I don't like Sailormoon too, but I prefer other sailors. lol! and I am a female supporter, the female is not necessary to be 100% perfect... but I don't like female to be THAT weak or... stupid. I don't even mind if the female is not the prettiest, I just want the female to be... useful? LOL. As for sleeping beauty, I had read a funny story in manga. that the easiest part to play is Sleeping Beauty, because she don't have many dialogues, she just sleep. haha. |

I don't really remember Sailor Moon much. But yes, I appreciate useful females and not damsels in distress. :roll: I read a remake of sleeping beauty not long ago by Orson Scott Card called Enchanted and I liked it. She was annoying at first because the cultures of she and her "knight" clashed but she got better and I liked it. She did have a personality. |

NO wonder. I think Disney version cut a few scenes from Aladdin...*shruggs* anyway, the only one I like from Disney is... Mermaid. Because hte original one is a sad ending. haha. |
well, in "enchanted" i like the main guy chara, so i was rooting for him all the way... and the prince (other than near the end) was literally a dumb prince... XD
aladin is ok... i think there was too many tangents to it after it came out... XD as for sailormoon... honestly, i think it's really just the american dubbing that made her sound extremely stupid. cuz in the manga she was that dumb, and in the first season that i actually did watch in subs, the subs didn't make her look like a total retard either... but on tv in america, i wanted to shut her up... XD |
But I didn't watch dub from English. lol. Just Hong Kong dub and stupid country dub.
It is just the personality of Usagi that I don't like. |

Or are you just talking about the story? I like the little mermaid too. The original story is sad but more realistic. @miyu: Well, I liked how the prince believed in true love and destiny and all those things because he was pretty set on marrying her. Aladdin isn't my favorite either. I just love A whole New World. xD Plus Robin Williams is pretty good in it. I was never interested in Sailormoon really so I don't really know what it's about although I know how it ends in the Japanese version since a friend was into it. >.> |

Yeah, I love happy endings but I also like realistic circumstances.
I haven't watched any in a while but I used to watch a ton. Let's see if I can even remember what they were. xD; I definitely love Ouran Host Club and Nodame Cantabile. They are my favorite. ;3 Fruits Basket was cute but Tohru...or however you spell it can get a tad annoying. And I can't remember any others right now. Usually whenever I have time to watch anything like that I watch Japanese or Korean dramas. ;3 It's so cool seeing characters being brought to life. |
Yeah, if a story doesn't have a happy ending I almost always don't like it. o:
