I'd rather not.. the last time I asked for help outside of class (well, through email) she didn't give much of any feedback. I sent her about three different pictures for an idea, asking what she thought about them, and she just replied with a simple 'they all look good so far' or something. But whatever, right now I'm feeling.. screw it, I'll just do whatever. DX What makes it a little worse is that we're given certain art styles to design the poster, and the one I got was 'Fine Arts', which basically means (as she says) I can do whatever I want. *sigh* On the plus side, I have now finally watched Gone With The Wind and thought it was cool. 83 |

It's thought to go up as high as $4 by the summer. DDX My friend who lives in Claremont and goes to UCSD sometimes takes the train to go back and forth on some weekends though. 6 6 It's a poster with a subject of 'movies', directed to 'senior males', and as I said before, in the 'Fine Arts' style. @[email protected] Seems it'd be easy enough, if I actually understood the first two. As for art style, the teacher suggested picking a single fine artist and trying to like, imitate their style. @[email protected] And I picked Gone With The Wind simply because I googled a movie survey that said it was one of the top favorite movies for seniors and some males. x.x I think there was another movie I wanted to watch but never did.. It might have been Casablanca, just cuz I've never seen it before (as opposed to personal interest? XD). |

I'm hoping to get a used Prius for my first car because I'm all about eco-friendly things and I like how hybrids sound when they're driving, haha. How is public transportation in southern California? I don't think I have ever taken it... and I've only heard bad things about it so I'm not sure if I will. Draw porn, mwahaha. 8) I don't think I have seen Casablanca either. I watched Weatherman yesterday and it was really good. Nicolas Cage is just not capable of making a bad movie. |
How funny, we had a lab today for a geology class, talking about air pollution, and we compared cars to see which was more eco-friendly, hehe. The Prius was one of the cars, and of course, the most eco-friendly car, and only hybrid, that we compared.
I think it basically depends on where you are. Like.. in LA, any kind of transportation is pretty bad with traffic, rather the traffic is pretty bad anywhere in LA. I've taken the train from the station in downtown (to San Diego, and another time to.. Fullerton?), that wasn't too bad, or too scary - no one bothered me while I was waiting anyway. XD And getting there, I took a tram that went directly from my campus to the station, haha, so I can't say much about 'genuine' public buses. XD; And the rest of the times I rode the train, there was somebody there to pick me up. XDD; Yeah, I should. >.< I'm going with whatever image seems to me to be more appealing to men from the movie. There is this one dress she wears that exposes quite a bit and was intentionally worn (in context of the plot) to attract attention. But the dress is red, and I think I'm already having a bunch of reddish orange-ish colors in the poster. >.<; There's another dress that's white and green that would make her pop out more, so I'm thinking I'll go with that. XD Haha, that's true, at least for the ones I've seen. XD I've heard some people not liking the National Treasure movies, but I haven't seen any of them myself. Though the people I've heard this from talk more about what happens in the movie, not really blaming any of the actors. Ahaha~ I think the 18-20g posts start to come back every time you visit. XD |

I'm not worried about traffic as much as I am about cleanliness and creeps on the bus. >.> Buses and trolleys in Monterey and San Francisco were rather clean. San Francisco had some perverts and weirdos on the bus sometimes, but not as much as you might expect -- no more than in everyday life, I guess, so it wasn't like only creeps took the bus. Overall I haven't had a problem with public transit in those areas, except some buses in Monterey just randomly decide not to run sometimes, and same for trolleys in SF (GREAT fun having to walk one or two miles home from the city some nights/early mornings...). The thing about so Cal buses is that they look dirty, and it seems like people only take them because they can't afford a car or something. The white and green sounds better for the poster since you'll have contrasting colours to make it more interesting. ^^ Good luck with it! I haven't seen the National Treasure movies either, but I want to. I want to see The Wicker Man too, even though I'm not usually interested in horror movies. Uh ohh, are 18-20g posts good or bad things? :'D |

Mm.. A Chev suburban, a Honda Ridge-something (some kind of truck XD), and a Camry (our choice of whatever else was listed). Obviously, the suburban produced the most air pollution. >.<;; Yeah.. I don't know. @[email protected]; My Chinese teacher apparently takes the bus to school. Based on her character, I'd say it isn't too bad? >.<; ( Though she's also from Beijing, I don't know if that adds any bit of information. XD; ) I'd imagine the buses to be clean enough to sit on, don't know about the creeps but just leave them alone (if any) and not notice them, I guess. That sucks that some buses don't run though.. Some buses take the freeway here, so I think some tend to be a little late sometimes. But this is from assumption, not experience. Thanks. >.< I hope I get at least a B+ on it because I'm finding that I'm desperately in need of it.. The Wicker Man sounds vaguely familiar, but I don't usually watch horror movies either. I'm used to paying $.50 for a bus ride and a transfer that lasts the whole day. *cheap ass* I hope you do well too. ^^ I've been seeing commercials for The Wicker Man on a movie channel here. I'm not even really sure what it's about... there's an accident and a girl goes missing, and Nicolas Cage's character goes to some weird place to look for her. Sometimes scenes in horror movies or scary characters get stuck in my mind and I get scared of the dark or being alone, so I generally avoid them. XD;; Yay for earning lotsa gold per post. 8D I'll talk to you later thennn. I think I might got to sleep, hah. 8:55 A.M. I haven't slept all night and I'm tired, but I don't want to be wide awake for my whole flight back. How boring. |

I think I remember during winter break, my friend from school took a bus to San Francisco. @[email protected] I think the bus was ok, she was comfortable enough to sleep on the way anyway. Yeah, I'm probably not going to watch that movie then. XD; ! XD; I think.. it was the Ring, or the Grudge, that my sister made me stay up late to watch with her (she loves horror, gore, scary movies DX) and I couldn't go to sleep the rest of the night.
