Yeps. 60cm boy. Had him painted to be a red head with freckles all over. Can't wait to hold him. He's my first. I'm planning one other, but she won't be ordered for quite teh few more months.

Yeah, the price is painful at first, but once you get a good paying job and alocate, it's okay. But I"m not going to be one of those people that has like, 12 or more BJD's. That's just crazy. How do you even concentrate on them all to give them attention? Where did they get the money? Can they afford foodstuffs?

No, my collection shall be a small and happy bunch. *squishes* and I must save up at lest twice the amount of a doll before I can save up for the doll... before I can buy it. From now on. That way, I have a drive to set up a proper savings and watch my spending.

Well individually they aren't much. people end up with colections liek that because they buy a little at a time, and it builds up.

Take eating out. You eat out say twice a week for 6$. Every week that's 12$ spent on eating out, every month that averages about 24$, and every year that would be 288$.

People end up with collections of small things becasue they buy maybe ONE every month or two, and over time that builds up.

Now the BJD collection thing... same kinda thing, only hella more expensive, since the tinies average about $250-$400 a pop, the mini's $400-$600, the SD (60 cm size) average $600-1000$ a pop not including accesories (wigs, eyes, clothing,shoes). Again, not something I'm willing to make a huge collection out of. I honestly find a lot of molds kinda fugly or just not my style, so luckily my pikyness co-incides with my wallet size, which is still rather pidly, but I'm working on it. XD

Plus, I got my first doll second had... the previous owner just couldn't handle a 60cm doll, what with only being 5' tall herself, and wanted to get him a good home. She gave me a deal since he would be my first doll and thus definetly loved to bits.

I have a few porcelain dolls myself.

They are not anything real special, but they are cute.

XD When I worked in got hstore in the mall, we had camaras all over the place. When it was slow we'd pick one and do a dance or something infront of it. It was amusing when the guys from teh 'watch tower' of the mall would come down on breaks to say hi and chat 'cause of the dancing.

I don't beleive ther are any video camaras where I work or where I live right now. But they are all over the skytrain, though apparenlty they don't work when you need them most (local news story, girl got mobbed by a bunch of other girls to rob her and the camaras hadn't been working for a few days but no one had thought to fix them even though we're paying tones of money to have these things working).

No, they don't have recorders in the moniters. That is a 'school myth' that my brothers privat school also had flying around. They don't waist money on that. They have camaras, and that's all they want really. Plus I think there's a recordation act that having all your speech recorded without your permission would be horribly violating.

But no, you don't have recorders in the computers other then what sites you go to and what files your using.

They have screen shots and mircrophones in Mr R's room because the technitions need that to prove what has been said in there when people start hurling insults at Mr R or other teachers.

Along with all the cameras that are all over the place.
