Hm...I don't think the arm is too thick, the strange thing though, is the forearm seems a little thicker than the upper arm...also they both seem too short. Another thing is, the hand seems to be small and the fan seems kind of awkward which you could probably fix when you color it P:

I like it, and the arms look fine to me. The drawing as a whole is appealing, but maybe next time you draw a person, you should make the legs longer.

I really like it! I know i'd go crazy with frustration if i tried to draw that frilly stuff or any victorian stuff. It always looks so tough to draw.
I agree with the points that Amiiu said. The arm doesn't look that thick to me, i think it has more to do with being too short, so it looks off. As well, is it just me or does it look like she might tip over? I dunno, maybe it's because i was scrolling through the pic. Overall, it's very good though <3 |
Hm... personally, I think the side view of her body looks a bit odd... the anatomy isn't quite right. ^^; I'm not sure how to explain it.. but it looks like she has no shoulder or a "back", if you know what I'm talking about. xD;;
Otherwise, I think it looks nice. :] I like your coloring style~ and the frills add some grandness to the dress. n__n |
@Amiiu: I tried to fix it... I'm not sure though but I may have actually made it worse lol.
@Hug: Thank you, I thought her legs were the right length this time...at least they were when I drew it up on paper :\ I don't picture her wearing high heels or anything maybe I'll bring the ruffles down a little more. @Amurita: Thank you! I love drawing frilly nonsense and insane detail. [I just put a little braid in her hair] She does indeed look like she's going to tip over...drunk maybe? :lol: @Suppi: I fail at side views, I know what you're talking about and I tried to fix that as well it too did not go so well. but anyways thank you ^-^ here's a picture of the dress I was drawing that eventually turned in to this dress. it's the pink one and here's what I've got now. http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b1...anamitired.png her eyes are also a tad uneven lol |
I have to say the amount of detail you out into the outfit with all of the layers and frills is pretty amazing! *Grins* Lovely work coloring her hair as well, love how those curls flow!

would you believe me if I told you this is one of the more simplistic dresses I've done? her hair is my favourite part of the picture at the moment I just want to touch it :lol: thank you muchly for the compliments I gotta go do some dishes now and then sleep so I can work on this a lot tomorrow.
