Celestine kept his head down even after he heard Aamori get up. He'd heard someone come out of their room, go into another, come back and return to their room, but he hadn't checked to see who it was. He didn't really care. His ears did twitch a little when he heard Aamori speak to Zale, though he didn't raise his head until he heard the main door opening. He finally glanced up a little and looked at Zale about the time that he glanced back to him. Still he didn't seem upset, he just closed his eyes slowly and then put his head back down. He would have told him goodbye if his head wasn't already about to split. The last thing he wanted to try was communicating like that, and he'd feel a little sitting saying it out loud with Aamori there.

Hikari laughed again and shook her head as she reached up to take the comb from him. As always when her hair was wet the gem on her forehead was perfectly visible again. She stared at his hair and raised an eyebrow when he said that he was about as done as he was going to get with his hair. "Umm..." she shook her head and grinned slightly when he tried to change the subject onto her bath. "Short and sweet."She said lightly before she say up on her knees and faced him again. All of a sudden she wrapped one arm around his neck to keep him from moving and then brought the comb up to his hair again and started trying to cork the kinks out of the base of it so she could work her way up. "And you're not getting away that easy, Do you have any idea hot ridiculous you look with your hair half brushed?" she asked with a soft laugh, "Besides, you're going to get mats in your hair if you don't brush it out more often. Then we'll just have to take scissors to it." she said with a smile. She was being careful not to pull his hair, but she was still trying to work quickly...before he could throw her off.

Aamori watched as Zale slipped outside and waited until he was a good few feet away before making sure that the door shut completely. She stood there for a moment while she stared back into the courtyard at her brother and then over at Celestine. Right about now she had wished that her brother hadn't fallen asleep where he had. She kind of wanted to find something to do since Celestine needed things quiet and she didn't want to just up and leave Celestine with her brother right there. It was very possible that Yoichi would wake up soon and the last thing she needed was Yoichi completely and utterly alienating Celestine when his head hurt. She sighed softly and finally started back into the courtyard. Rather than going over to sit near Celestine she went to sit down near her brother. She sat down so that she could see his face and hopefully if he did start to wake up she could catch him and detour him before he got the chance to pester Celestine.

Kyran quirked a brow at her slightly when he noticed her sitting up on her knees to face him. Of course he had a hunch what was coming but he had kind of hoped she wasn't actually going to try and do anything with his hair. Honestly, how embarrassing was that going to be? To be able to admit that Hikari had to brush his hair for him. He couldn't help jumping slightly when she suddenly wrapped her arm around his neck in an attempt to keep him from moving and then started working the comb through his hair. He stared over at her for a moment before sighing softly. "I beg to differ." He said with a slight smirk on his face when she said that he wasn't getting away that easy. He reached over to her and grabbed her waist, pulling her closer for a moment before he stood up all together. He guessed all in all, if it really came down to it he wasn't going to complain about her brushing his hair but if she was going to do it for him then he certainly wasn't going to make it easy for her. He then moved over to the bed with her and released her to fall onto the bed. If she hadn't released his neck by the time she hit the bed then he'd probably wind up falling onto the bed too. Either way that was surely going to give him time to get away from that comb if she hadn't already finished combing his hair.

Cyndel 11-27-2008 08:38 AM

Celestine sighed softly and lowered his head again, though this time he crossed his arms over his knees and snuggled down into them. He wasn't very concerned with where Aamori went once she left the door. She could have gone back to bed for all that he cared. If Yoichi got up and messed with him he could easily go back to his room, though he didn't know how well he would sleep with Kanone in there snoring loud enough to wake the dead. He guessed he could always hope that Yoichi would get the hint that he wasn't up for his being an ass and go away.

Hikari blinked when Kyran put his arm around her and then pulled her up. "Meep!!" Well that certainly wasn't what she'd expected. She left the comb sticking out of his hair and latched onto him for dear life with both arms. When he dropped her down to the bed she still hadn't let go...actually she probably tightened her grip if anything. She never had liked the idea of falling, so if she went he was coming with her. She fell over backwards when her butt hit the bed, consequentially dragging him down on top of her. "Gah...Kryan...I hate you..." she groaned. After a second she grinned and pulled one arm away from his neck so that she could grab the comb again and resume combing it through his hair carefully, though she kept her other arm firmly around his neck as if that was going to keep him from getting up. Unfortunately, she didn't really realize where holding him in this position left his face.

Yoichi finally did start waking up. He cracked his eyes open a little and blinked a few times before he looked at Aamori. He continued to lay there for a few moments trying to remember where he'd fallen asleep at. He might have remembered faster had he still been using Zale for a pillow. The fact that he had actually been snuggled into an real pillow threw him off a little since he hadn't thought he had it when he fell asleep. He gave up trying to figure out where the pillow came from and rolled onto his back before stretching his arms out over his head and yawning a little. After a moment he turned his head to look over at his sister, still oblivious that anyone else was in the courtyard. Though that was only because he hadn't looked around yet. "...Isn't it a little early for you to be awake?" He asked with a soft laugh. He knew that both he and Hisako would probably be asleep for some time so that meant that Aamori wasn't going to be getting her training in this morning so he was actually surprised to see that she was actually awake. He laid where he was for a moment longer and then started to sit up and rub his eyes a little. He was still tired and he hadn't slept for that long but the ground out here could only stay comfortable for long before it would force him to wake up. He glanced around a little now that he was awake and sitting up. He did notice Celestine finally but he stayed where he was. "Hey.. Aamori." He started as he looked over at her. "Can I borrow a brush or something?" He asked quietly. He wasn't always worried about his hair, but he did try and take care of it a little and brushing it after he woke up was a given.

Aamori sighed softly when she caught Yoichi opening his eyes. Well... that was kind of short lived. She had hoped that he'd stay asleep a little longer, at least until Celestine's head stopped hurting. She shook her head a little when he brought up that it was a little early for her to be up. She didn't really have anything to say to that. She was awake and that was it. Though if people kept going on about why she was up so early she was half tempted to just go back to bed. Was it really that weird for her to be awake right now? She sighed softly and watched as Yoichi started to sit up and look around a little. She had kind of hoped she could scoot him out the door or something before he saw Celestine but that was a little late. Her ears perked slightly and she looked over at her brother when he started to say something. She nodded weakly. "Um.. yeah.. I'll go get one." She uttered before standing up and starting to walk towards her bedroom. She glanced over at Celestine while she was walking and sighed softly. If she was lucky, Yoichi would just stay seated where he was. Once she reached her room she slipped inside to head over to her vanity.

Kyran had half prepared to hit the bed too, even if it was only a thought. Though, he had kind of hoped that she'd have let him go. If he had thought better about it he might have remembered how tightly she held on for dear life when someone else had to carry her and in remembering that he might have thought twice about just dropping her onto the bed the way he had. Since she hadn't released his neck he really had no where to go but where her arms pulled him and that just so happened to bring his face right into her chest. Honestly, he couldn't complain right now. What guy would? He didn't respond to her when she had said that she hated him, though, had he not had his head where it was he may have said something witty to counter that. He felt how firmly her arm was around his neck while she continued to brush his hair yet again and he could only guess that she hadn't realized where exactly she was keeping him held down. It was bound to hit her eventually, especially since he'd stopped struggling with it all together. Just about the only thing he wasn't looking forward to was the reaction when she found his face where it was. She was still a woman after all and he was half expecting to either be physically and or verbally slapped since he wasn't doing anything to move from where he was.

Cyndel 11-27-2008 05:20 PM

Celestine sighed quietly when he heard Yoichi's voice from where he was laying. He just burrowed his head a little further into his arms and tried not to move or draw attention to himself. Honestly the last thing that he wanted was to deal with Yoichi right now, especially since he couldn't even fly away from him this time. So long as Yoichi didn't say anything to him he didn't plan to move at all, though he almost groaned when he heard Aamori going back into her room. Grand, that meant that he was the only other person out here right now. Well...if Yoichi was as oblivious as Aamori maybe he wouldn't even notice him there if he didn't move too much.

Hikari was glad that Kyran finally decided to stop struggling with her. Apparently she'd gotten him pinned in a good position or he'd just decided to stop being difficult. She finally finished combing out his hair and laid the comb aside for now. "There...now that's bet...ter...." she said slowly when she finally tried to look at his face and realized that it was sitting right between her breasts. She blinked and then her cheeks flushed to a deep red color. Well...now she knew why he wasn't moving. After a second she let out a "YEEK!" and slammed her hands against his shoulders and her feet against his stomach at the exact same tome, not only pushing him off of her, but quite literally throwing him completely off of the bed and out into the floor. Hikari might have a very small frame, but she was still considerably strong, especially for a woman. As soon as he was off of her she sat straight up and crossed her arms over her chest tightly while muttering something in her own language, though from the sounds of it it was probably something about 'men.'

Yotsy 11-27-2008 05:57 PM

Yoichi watched as Aamori walked to her room and slipped inside. Once she was out of sight he leaned forward a little to stretch again and then started to get to his feet. Since he had noticed Celestine before when he glanced around he thought of taking this time to go pester him, even just a little. He started to move closer to him, pausing though when he was a couple feet away. He crouched down, resting his forearms to his knees and then tilted his head slightly as he looked at Celestine. He originally was going to just start right on him like he usually did but decided against it after giving him a once over. "...Not feeling well?" He asked quite possibly sounding a little concerned. He may have been like his sister in some places, but he was a little more observant some of time and he'd guessed by the way Celestine was sitting there that something wasn't quite right. At least for the moment Celestine had earned himself a break from his pestering.

Aamori fumbled around at her vanity briefly while she tried to to pick a brush that her brother could use. She had a few different types, mostly because the room had been stocked with almost every type of brush or comb you could think of. They had no idea what Aamori's preference was when she first moved in so they just gave her everything. She finally settled on one and then started to head back out of her room. She pulled the door shut behind her and went back to the courtyard. She rolled her eyes slightly when she saw that Yoichi had taken advantage of her leaving the area to go bother Celestine. She hadn't heard what her brother had asked him so she was assuming that he was flirting with him again, just like the other times. She huffed quietly and walked over to Yoichi with a faint hint of a stomp in her step. She flicked the brush in her hand, holding it out to her brother. She nearly whacked him in the head with it and he of course tried to dodge the brush which caused him to roll backwards right off his toes and onto his tail. "Go do your hair." She uttered while waving the brush slightly waiting for him to take it.

Yoichi's eyes widened slightly when he caught sight of the brush being flicked towards his head and he automatically moved to avoid being hit with it. Of course he wound up on his tail. He stared up at Aamori with a rather annoyed look on his face for once and then snatched the brush from her. "You didn't have to nearly hit me with that, you know!" He muttered. He scooted back a little and got his tail out from under him before sitting up straight. He pulled his hair around in front of him from over his shoulder, still half glaring at his sister for that. He hadn't done anything so he wasn't even sure why she'd done that. He grumbled quietly and then started to brush his hair.

Kyran had started, very slowly to lift his head slightly when she was finished with his hair and had started to speak. Though he soon found himself wide eyed and being thrown off of her and onto the floor. He hit the floor with a thud and landed rather uncomfortably on his tail. Unfortunately he hadn't saved his head from the fall considering how unexpected it was. He'd smacked that right down against the stone floor and groaned quietly while he laid there. He was honestly surprised though right now that couldn't be seen on his face. He was hurting a bit and that was evident. He hadn't expected her to react quite like that and he certainly hadn't expected to find himself being thrown onto the floor. He still hadn't bothered to get up and hadn't really even moved an inch. After that reaction he wasn't so sure that he'd ever touch her. Being thrown like that because she over looked where she was holding him down at really did make him a little weary of touching her.

Cyndel 11-27-2008 08:03 PM

Celestine still didn't bother to raise his head even when Yoichi approached him. He didn't even move until he heard Yoichi's question, which actually surprised him a little. He slowly raised his head and stared at Yoichi with his eyes only half open before he shook his head just a little. "...Not really..." he muttered quietly, seeming almost reluctant to speak to him at all. He glanced back to Aamori when she returned and nearly clobbered her brother with the brush. He just sighed softly and leaned his head back down onto his arms again, though he kept it turned to the side, watching Yoichi as he went off to go fix his hair. He was glad to see that Aamori was at least trying to keep her brother at bay, though for once he actually wasn't pestering him. He just sighed and closed his eyes again, trying to curl up into the blanket a little more.

Hikari didn't move for a moment, though she finally looked down to Kyran. She blinked when she realized that he wasn't moving really moving and then she remembered that these floors were stone. Her ears fell slightly and and got up quickly and then scurried over to kneel by his head. "Oh, Kyran, are you okay? I'm sorry I didn't mean to..." She really hadn't meant to hurt him...or throw him off of the bed for that matter, it was just a knee-jerk reaction for her. She put her hand to his face gently and then ran her fingers back trough his hair before she slipped her other hand under his head and lifted it off of the stone floor and onto her leg down near her knee. She combed her fingers back through his hair again and laid her ears back again. "I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you..."

Yotsy 11-27-2008 09:31 PM

Aamori stared at Yoichi while he scooted back and started to brush out his hair. She probably didn't have to nearly whack him with the brush but she couldn't really help it. She knew that Celestine didn't want Yoichi bothering him and Yoichi had been told a couple times to leave Celestine alone and yet he didn't ever listen. She glanced back to Celestine for a moment. She sighed softly and then walked over to where her brother was sitting and stared down at him. "You and Hisako were up late last night, right?" She asked. "That means that you can leave after you are done with your hair. I mean, you're not going to have to work today so you don't have to stay." She uttered while glancing towards the door briefly. She didn't mind her brother, she actually liked him well enough but if he wasn't here than she wasn't having to worry about him bothering Celestine.

Yoichi brushed through his hair pretty quickly and then was doing another sweep through it when Aamori came over. He looked up to her and nodded slightly when she asked if he and Hisako were up late. Of course they were... After all... Hisako wanted to make a point of punishing him into not trying to play hooky ever again. He sighed softly after hearing Aamori continue. If she wanted him to leave she probably could've been a little nicer about it. He had planned on leaving soon anyway since he was still tired. Now he had enough energy to walk home and crawl into his own bed. "Yeah, yeah..." He paused. "Don't worry I'll be leaving in a few minutes." He said as he finished up his hair and brushed it back over his shoulder. He then held the brush up for Aamori to take rather than throw it at her like he half thought of doing. "Why're you in such a hurry to get me to leave, did I do something wrong?" He asked quietly, not exactly sure himself why she was pushing him to get out.

Kyran still hadn't moved very much at least until Hikari knelt down beside him and said she was sorry. He started to open his eyes a little when he felt her hand touch his face and then her fingers through his hair as she lifted his head up from the stone floor. He groaned again quietly just because he had a small knot on the back of his head from where he'd hit the floor. He finally opened his eyes enough to focus on her while she combed her fingers through his hair. "...No more knots, right?" He asked while smiling weakly. He shifted slightly, just enough to wiggle his tail out from under him. He uncurled his tail enough to drape it over himself so that he could rub it gently with his hand. At a time like this he kind of wished he hadn't had his tail curled because falling on it like he had only made it all the more sore.

Cyndel 11-27-2008 11:09 PM

Celestine sighed softly and cracked his eyes open again to look at Aamori and Yoichi again for a moment. He wasn't really in the mood to put up with Yoichi but he didn't really want to be the reason that he and Aamori ended up in a fight if it did. Aamori wasn't being all that gentle at the moment. He slowly raised his head and looked at Aamori again before he propped one arm up onto his knee and rested his head in his hand lightly. "...Aamori...he wasn't bothering me...for once..." he said just loud enough to be heard. He sighed softly and finally started to push himself up, though it was obvious by the way that his eyes narrowed that his head was still bothering him when he moved around. He finally let the blanket slip down a little and then pulled it around to the front and folded it over his arm while he made his way over to where Yoichi had been sleeping and sat back down to claim his vest. He picked it up and then slipped it on and tried to get his damp wings back into the slits that they fit through.

Hikari smiled slightly and shook her head when he asked about the knots. "No...no knots." she said with a soft smile. She stroked his hair again and then looked over to his tail when he started to rub it. She sighed softly and leaned down, gently lifting him up off of her leg so she could press her lips against his forehead. She just cradled him in her arms and then nuzzled against his face while she lightly rubbed the back of his head where he'd hit it. "I'm sorry..." she said again quietly. She just had a bit of a habit of overreacting to things like that sometimes. She nuzzled him again and then kissed his cheek. After a few moments she smiled weakly. "...Well do you intend to get up or shall I see if I can carry you?" she asked with a soft laugh.

Yotsy 11-28-2008 12:22 AM

Aamori took the brush from her brother when he held it out for her and sighed when he asked if he had done something wrong. She wasn't even sure how to answer that since she wasn't really sure that he'd done anything wrong well, other than possibly bother Celestine while she getting her brush. She glanced back to Celestine when she heard him speak and then shook her head lightly. Okay... so for once Yoichi hadn't bothered him. That was a little surprising to say the least. She looked back at her brother and shook her head again lightly. "No, I guess this time you didn't do anything wrong." She replied. Hearing that he hadn't bothered Celestine kind of made her feel bad for automatically assuming that he had or was in the processes of but since it was her brother she wasn't exactly going to just go and apologize to him for how she was acting. She glanced to Celestine for a moment when she noticed that he'd gone to sit where Yoichi had been sleeping and was trying to put his vest back on. "Are you still going to head home, Yoichi?" She asked sounding a bit nicer than before. "Mom and Dad didn't know that you stayed here last night did they?" She paused and shifted slightly. "They're going to be worried about you..." She muttered quietly.

Yoichi was a little taken back by his sisters sudden change in attitude after Celestine had told her that he hadn't bothered him, for once. That was a little odd to him, at least. Well maybe not. He had been told that they were just friends and apparently Aamori liked to be there for her friends. Since she hadn't ever had any friends except for that one he never really knew how she was with friends. That one friend of hers wasn't even a good friend. He couldn't even begin to tell you the last time that she'd been around here to see his sister. He sighed softly and started to get to his feet. "...Yeah, I think I'm gunna go home and try to sleep some more." He paused. "If I don't Hisako will have me worn out in no time." He said with a slight laugh. He hated hearing the way she said things that related to their parents. Whenever it came down to it she always sounded a little spiteful when they were brought up. She never talked to him about how she felt with the way things happened so he was kind of in the dark with her feelings towards their parents and when ever he asked she didn't want to talk about it or didn't have time. Obviously that was a touchy subject with her, or maybe she just didn't want to talk to him. He sighed and looked over at her. He didn't want to comment that their parents were more than likely worried about him, especially with how she said that so he just ignored it. "I think I'll try and check in later tonight after I've slept." He said as he turned and started towards the doors. He paused for a moment and looked back at Aamori. "Oh yeah, if you have to go anywhere today... since both Hisako and I are well... not available, make sure you get someone to tag along with you. Even if it's just one of your friends, don't leave by yourself." He told her and then started for the door again. He didn't make it very far before he just turned around and started walking backwards. "And Celestine... whatever's wrong... feel better." He said loud enough before turning to open the door before he'd have walked into it.

Kyran stopped rubbing his tail and let it fall beside him and curl up again. He couldn't really be mad at her, well he wasn't begin with and he certainly couldn't be after how many times she'd apologized and how much affection he was getting right now. He smiled slightly and then looked up at her when she asked if he intended to get up. He was quiet for a moment and then shut his eyes gently. "I'm kind of comfortable, actually..." He paused. "If I play hurt for awhile longer you'll keep showering me with affection, right?" He asked while cracking a single eye open to look up at her.

Cyndel 11-28-2008 12:54 AM

Celestine was silent until he'd managed to get back into his vest, then he glanced back to Aamori and Yoichi again. He sighed quietly while he listened to their little exchange and then stared at Yoichi when he told him to feel better. He stared at him for a moment and then nodded weakly. "...Mmm...Thank you..." he said quietly. He sighed heavily once Yoichi started to leave and then stood up slowly and pressed his hand to his head again, closing his eyes tightly for a few moments before he walked over to Aamori again. He looked at her for a moment and then held out the blanket to her before leaning his head against her shoulder lightly. "...Thanks...." he said quietly. He did at least appreciate the effort to keep Yoichi away from him while he wasn't feeling well. "...You don't have to be mean to your brother on my account." he told her quietly, considering the way that she'd spoken to him when she first came out.

Hikari looked down to Kyran for a moment and then gave him a look when he asked if she would keep showering him with affection if he continued to play hurt for a while. She rolled her eyes and then just dropped his head and let him fall far enough that he would probably think that he was about to hit the floor again, but she grabbed him again just before he would have hit and giggled softly before she pulled him back up to her again and nuzzled him. "If you want." she said softly before she kissed his forehead again. "...Though I am starting to get rather hungry...so I hope you have almost had your fill of being injured." she told him while she nuzzled against his head again.

Yotsy 11-28-2008 01:38 AM

Aamori watched for a moment while her brother left. She kept her eyes there until the doors closed and then shifted her glance back to Celestine since he'd come closer. She reached for the blanket when he handed it to her and then looked at him as best she could after he leaned his head against her shoulder. She sighed softly when he said that she didn't have to be mean to Yoichi on his account. She hadn't really meant to be mean... it just came out that way because she was a little frustrated with Yoichi and his flirting with Celestine. "...I couldn't help it..." She uttered quietly. That was no excuse for how she spoke to her brother but she really couldn't help it. She hadn't even really thought before she spoke to him. If she had thought about it first than it might have turned out a little differently. She did know that no matter how mean she was to Yoichi, no matter how much they fought and argued, they'd be fine in a couple hours or by the next day or so. They never even had to say anything to one another, it was just kind of a mutual understanding and didn't speak about it, and continued on like nothing had ever happened between them. She sighed softly and shifted the blanket slightly in her hands. "...How's your head...?" She asked quietly, though she was pretty sure it still hurt just by the way he was acting.

Kyran's eyes shot open wide when he felt her drop his head. He thought his head was going to hit the stone floor again. His breath caught for a moment in his throat just before she caught him and pulled him back to her. He stared at her briefly and then let out a sigh after she nuzzled him. He shut his eyes again after she kissed his forehead. He didn't find very much humor in that, mostly because he already had a knot on the back of his head and if his head made contact again that was only going to make it more sore. Thankfully though she had obviously only been playing with him. After she spoke and nuzzled him again he started to sit himself up. He still wanted to rest in her arms but since she had said she was hungry he decided to get up. He couldn't very well keep her from eating just because he liked to rest against her while she ran her hands through his hair and nuzzled him. That was rather selfish after all. He sat upright for a moment and then finally started to get to his feet. Once he was standing he set one hand to the back of his head and rubbed the knot gently before extending the other down to her, to help her up. "...Now you can go get your tummy filled up." He could stand to eat something himself actually. He had only managed to eat a little of his dinner the other night so of course he was hungry as well. Though he wasn't sure what he wanted more, something to fill his stomach or... some ice for his head.

Cyndel 11-28-2008 04:10 AM

Celestine sighed softly when she asked about his head and then just leaned on her a little more. "...It still hurts...but I'll be alright." he said quietly. "...It feels like I was hit with a brick..." He sighed again and slowly raised his head up again before he started to move back a little and then just sat down. "...I think...I'm going to go back to sleep for a while... At least until this wears off..." he told her with a soft sigh. He'd just send Kanone out to keep her company for now. After all, he couldn't really sleep with him in there. He was too loud, even when he was sleeping. After a moment he finally started to back up and then turned to walk back toward his room slowly, still rubbing his head occasionally.

Hikari smiled slightly when Kyran finally started to get up and she lowered her arms and waited for him to get to his feet and then took his hand when he offered it to her. "Thank you..." she said with a soft laugh. She sighed and nuzzled against his chest against as she wrapped her arms around him. Honestly she was about to starve. She hadn't even nibbled on a piece of lettuce from her salad the other night and she hadn't eaten at all the day before that, either, so her stomach was definitely throwing a fit. She sighed and reached down to his hand, looking up to him with a smile. "Well, shall I bring you something?" she asked softly. She didn't mind waiting on him right now. After all getting him something to eat was the least she could do after nearly giving him a concussion.

Yotsy 11-28-2008 04:51 AM

Aamori nodded slightly when he said that his head still hurt. Of course she knew it did and she wished that there was something that she could do to try and help relieve the pain but the only thing she knew of was something cold and he'd been wet enough for the time being. She shifted the blanket in her hands and then nodded again when he said that he was going to go back to sleep for a while. She would've said something to him but she was biting her tongue, though that was probably a little obvious. Since she knew his head hurt she was at least trying not to do anything to aggravate it more than she may already have and talking wasn't exactly necessary. After he started to walk back to his room she watched him for a moment and waited briefly before turning and starting over to her room. She needed to do something with the blanket and unfortunately a wet blanket wasn't going to go anywhere but down the laundry chute in her closet. She stepped into her room, leaving the door open as she went straight to her closet. She opened the doors and sighed softly while she tossed the blanket down the chute. She stood there for a minute before lifting her eyes up to look at the shelf above the row of identical clothes. Luckily there was another blanket there. It wasn't quite as nice since it was just the spare for the room but it'd suffice to cover the bed until another blanket could be brought up. She reached up to pull the blanket down and then tossed it onto the bed before she started to close the closet doors again.

Kyran smiled a little once she took his hand and got to her feet. He started to lower his hand from his head when she wrapped her arms around him. He was going to put his arms around her but paused when he felt a twinge of pain and brought his hand right back to his head. Apparently making contact with solid stone floors hurt a little more than he originally thought. They certainly weren't as forgiving as wooden floors and at a time like this he was missing the old wood floors of his parents house. He sighed softly and shut his eyes slightly while he rubbed the back of his head. He shook his head very lightly in response to her asking if she should bring him something. "...No ...I'll get something for myself after the swelling goes down a little..." He uttered quietly. He was hungry but he was still very capable of going to get something to eat so he couldn't possibly bring himself to have her bring him anything.

Celestine just slipped back into the room again and sighed softly before he went over to the couch where Kanone was sleeping. He laid his ears back when he heard his snore and then shoved his mouth closed. He sighed heavily and then pushed on his shoulder lightly, and then a little harder when he didn't wake up. "...Kanone...get up...get out..." he groaned.
Kanone groaned in response and rolled onto his side, though unfortunately, there wasn't enough couch there for that. He toppled off of the couch and flat on his face into the floor. "Ooooow... Ow ow OW!" he groaned as he pushed himself up. He looked up to Celestine and groaned. "Ooowwww... Jeez, what was that for? What do you want?" he asked irritably. It was still way too early for his tastes and now his face really didn't feel all that grand after hitting the floor. He huffed as he stood himself up and dusted off his shirt.
Celestine jumped back and then cringed when Kanone hit the floor. He sighed when he got up and started snipping at him. "...I can't sleep with you snoring like that...go find somewhere else to sleep."
"Gah why don't you just sleep on the damn roof like you usually do?"
"...Because I can't get off the ground... god Kanone, just go away." he said in a much whinier voice. He didn't want to tell Kanone that his head hurt; he didn't want him to get worried about it. Unfortunately without that knowledge, Kanone wasn't talking very quietly and the sound was enough to drive him nuts. "...Please, just...go visit with someone or something..."
Kanone sighed heavily and shook his head. "You are such a pain..." he muttered as he walked toward the door, still rubbing his head slightly. He stepped outside, nearly slamming the door behind him as he went.
Celestine cringed when the door closed so loudly and then slowly moved over to the bed again and sat down on the edge before he scooted back and curled up in a ball, leaning his head over against Nobu's side lightly.
Esen was most certainly awake after all of that. She raised her head to look at Celestine and then glanced at the door. "What--?" she asked him. She didn't really think anything of talking to him since he could understand her so easily. She didn't realize hot hard it was on most to talk this way, mainly because she didn't talk a lot, so she never really had much of a problem and didn't strain herself. She laid her ears back and whined when she saw the way that Celestine reacted when she spoke and then quickly laid her head back down again.
Celestine cringed when Esen spoke to him and whined as he curled up even more while holding his head. He gritted his teeth together for a moment, waiting for the paint o pass. That hurt even worse that physical noise, it was more like a punch right in the brain that left it throbbing after the initial hit. After a moment he relaxed a little, though as soon as he relaxed his jaw his breath came out in a quiet sob. His eyes had already watered up, and he couldn't really help it. Crying really only made it hurt even worse, but the more it hurt the more he just wanted to roll up in a ball and cry. He wasn't sure if it was the pain or just the frustration that the pain caused that made him want to cry or a combination of both that caused him to start crying. He just wanted to fall asleep and hope this was gone when he woke up again. This was just misery in the making.
Kanone just sighed and headed toward the court yard once he was outside. He didn't really have anywhere else he could go. He yawned and then sighed before he noticed the random pillow laying in the grass. He moved to pick it up and then noticed Aamori's open door and smiled slightly as he walked over, reaching it about the time that she was closing her closet. "Hey...lose something?" he asked with a slight smile as he held up the pillow. "This was just kind of laying in the middle of the courtyard."

Hikari looked at him and then sighed softly and shook her head. "Kyran...just tell me what you want, I'll get it...I don't mind, really." she said with a slight smile. She leaned her head against his side and nuzzled him lightly. "Come on...I'm still showering you with affection here, I don't wait on just anyone." she said with a slight smile, "Besides...I think the swelling is kind of my fault..." she said quietly. She looked up to him again and smiled, "If you don't tell me, I'll just have to guess." she said lightly.

Nobu surprisingly enough was still asleep up until that door slammed shut. Being startled awake like that from a really good sleep caused him to open his eyes by accident. Though he easily enough realized he had when everything in the room looked pretty blurred and then took a moment to shut his eyes again. He turned his head to look down at Celestine when he curled up and laid his head against him. He watched quietly, intending to say something but after seeing how he reacted to Esen speaking he decided it was probably best to refrain from talking, at least until Celestine was feeling better. If Celestine couldn't pick up on the things that they said so easily he might have spoken to Esen, at the very least to assure her that she hadn't done anything wrong. He started to lower his head again but before he did he curled his body around Celestine as much as he possibly could without disturbing him or Esen. Then he picked up his tails and laid them down on top of Celestine gently. He was pretty sure that he wasn't feeling well, it was almost painfully obvious so he just wanted to try and be as comforting as possible.

Aamori jumped slightly when she heard Kanone's voice. She wasn't expecting him to be up, at least not for a while longer. She relaxed a bit after looking at him and then eyed the pillow he was holding and shook her head lightly. "No, not me." She paused. "That's from the room you and Celestine are in." She answered. She turned back to her bed and picked up the folded blanket that she had thrown on it and started to unfold it so she could stretch it out over the bed. "...Did you just wake up or did you get kicked out?" She asked quietly. Celestine hadn't said to her that he was going to send Kanone out of the room but considering how irritable he could be since he didn't feel well it really wouldn't surprise her. She was actually kind of glad that Kanone was up though, it meant there was someone to talk to. She could easily entertain herself while everyone was still asleep but it was more fun when you had someone to talk to. Once she had finished unfolding the blanket she flapped it a couple times over the length of the bed until it was covering most of the bed and then started to adjust it once it was laying flat on the bed.

Kyran sighed softly seeing as she wasn't appearing to be giving up on wanting to get him something to eat. He removed his hand from the back of his head and looked down at her after she nuzzled against him again. Well, at least he was still getting affection and he knew she didn't wait on just anyone, heck, considering who she was he'd be a little surprised to hear that she'd ever waited on anyone. As much as he didn't want to give in and let her bring him something when he could do it himself, he really didn't want to stand here and argue it with her either. He also had a feeling that if he said he'd go with her so he could get his food himself, he'd be told to stay here. He sighed softly and looked down at her, smiling slightly. "...As much as I'd rather you not cater to me..." He started. "...As long as it wasn't cooked by Minako, I'll eat it." He said with a rather short lived, soft laugh.

Cyndel 11-28-2008 11:47 PM

Celestine was relived that Nobu at least seemed to pick up on the fact that his head was killing him and didn't speak. he cracked his eyes open slightly when he felt him moving and then realized what he was doing. He slowly moved his arm and started to stroked Nobu's head gently. After a few seconds he pulled his hand back and wiped his eyes, trying to force himself to stop. "....Sorry...." he whispered quietly. He nuzzled his face against Nobu's fur again and then put his arm back to his side so he could resume stroking him. He found that about as comforting as anything else. He could definitely say that he was much warmer this way at least. He closed his eyes again and sighed heavily while he combed his fingers through his fur gently. After a few minutes his hand stopped moving against his fur and a little bit later his breathing slowed again as he fell asleep again.

Esen didn't move a muscle while Nobu shifted around. She did turn her head slightly to look at Celestine when she heard him apologize and whined softly. She shifted positions slightly and turned on the bed so that she was facing Nobu. She didn't want to speak again since that was apparently painful, but she did want to apologize for hurting him. She raised her head and lightly ran her tongue over Celestine's cheek a couple of times before she laid her head down on Nobu's side where Celestine's was so she could nuzzle against the back of his head.

Kanone blinked when she said that pillow was from his room. He shook his head and sighed slightly. "Jeez, am I that bad?" he muttered under his breath. He looked back to her again when she asked if he woke up or was kicked out. "...Haha...I rolled off the couch, crashed into the floor, then got kicked out." he said simply, his tail swishing slightly behind him. "...What the hell is his problem anyway? Vengeful gods it's too early for this. I swear no wonder everyone thinks he's a girl he's got the mood swings to fit one." He sighed and then leaned against the door frame. "Oh well...I'm up." he said with a yawn. "Heh, aren't you cute making your bed." he teased. He couldn't honestly say he ever really bothered making his bed. He was just gonna mess it up again that night, so why bother?

Hikari smiled slightly when he finally gave in and then nuzzled him again. "Oh...give me a break, I like to make myself useful." she said in response to his not wanting her to cater to him. She chuckled softly at his comment about Minako's cooking and then nodded and stood up on her toes to kiss his jaw. "I'll be right back, go lay down." she said as she gave him a gentle nudge toward the bed. Finally she turned and left the room again, slipping back out into the hallway, though she left the door slightly ajar so that she could push it open easily when she came back. She sighed as she started to the kitchen again and tried to fix her hair a little with her fingers before she stepped inside. She hoped the cooks were here by now and already had breakfast started because she almost hated to get anyone to work extra this early. She glanced around as she stepped inside and then sighed softly as she approached the counter.

Yotsy 11-29-2008 02:16 AM

Aamori finished one side of the bed and then glanced over at Kanone. "Well... at least it doesn't look like the floor hit you that hard." She said with a soft chuckle before she moved to the other side of the bed to finish adjusting the blanket. She shook her head lightly when she heard him make the comment about Celestine having mood swings like a girl. Honestly did he not realize that he was talking to a girl? Well, it wasn't really that offensive but that wasn't the point. She sighed softly and then glanced away briefly. "...It isn't his fault this time, Kanone." She started. "...He fell into the fountain and hit his head. He was out cold when I came back into the building." She paused and shook her head a little. "...When he came to he didn't remember much of what he'd done this morning after he woke up ...he didn't even remember the arguement we had just minutes before." She said quietly. She was a little bothered that Celestine had forgotten that, but she couldn't very well hold that against him since it wasn't his fault. Since she was done with the blanket she moved to the little padded bench at the foot of her bed and sat down. She didn't make her bed very often, in fact the bed was usually made for her and she so didn't see how someone could be cute making a bed. Obviously what he had said kind of went over her head. At any rate, she did at least know how to make her bed, all the way down to the sheets even if that was a little difficult. "I only had to put another blanket on the bed because Celestine got my other blanket all wet." She uttered with a quiet sigh.

Kyran smiled slightly after she kissed his jaw. When she told him to go lay down and then nudged him towards the bed. He took a couple steps towards the bed and then glanced back at her to watch her leave the room. He sighed softly and then went to sit down at the edge of his side of the bed. He wasn't going to go laying down like she said, especially if she was going to bring him back something to eat. He sat there for a moment before he lifted his hands up and started to unbutton his vest. Had he known that he was going to be getting back in bed even for a little while longer he wouldn't have bothered with the vest. He sighed softly and fought his way out of the vest as carefully as possible and then folded it up a little and set it down on the bedside table. He sat there for a few minutes longer before he fluffed up his pillow a bit then pulled his legs up onto the bed and leaned back. He had already forgotten about the knot on the back of his head and smacked his head right back against the headboard of the bed. Of course he winced and leaned forward while he pressed his hand to the back of his head. He was thankful at least that the headboard wasn't made from stone like the floors.

The cooks were there already and currently working on breakfast. They were already about half way through the meals and keeping them heated while they finished the rest. The usual cook lifted his head when the door opened and watched as Hikari started over to the counter. He stopped what he was doing and smiled a bit as he walked over to the counter. "Good morning, miss." He paused. "What can I get for you?" He asked, of course knowing that she must have come in here for something to eat.

Cyndel 11-29-2008 03:53 AM

Kanone's entire expression changed when she told him that he'd hit his head. In half a second his expression went from irritation to worry. "He hit his head...in the fountain!?" he asked sounding a concerned, "What in the...how did that happen!? He wasn't under water was he?" He glanced back out to the courtyard again, not really paying attention to what she was saying about the blanket. He shook his head and then sighed and looked down at the pillow in his hand. He already felt bad for getting grumpy with Celestine. He'd been a little too groggy to pay too much attention to him, but he knew that he usually had a massive headache after he hit his head on something. It also worried him that she said he'd lost some memory. "How...how much could he not remember?" he asked quietly, "Only from this morning?" He sighed heavily, "...That happens sometimes with him... He gets it back sometimes and sometimes it's just gone... Hell he forgot who I was one time." he said quietly. He rubbed his temple lightly and then sighed softly. "...I should probably go check on him..." he muttered quietly to himself.

Hikari smiled warmly to the cook who spoke to her and she nodded. "Good morning. Um...can I get whatever is for breakfast this morning? Er...um I'll need two, I told Kyran I'd bring him back something." She really didn't like ordering food and never had, she just felt a little awkward asking. She paused for a moment and then another thought stuck her. "Oh... um..if you have any ice could I get a small bag or something? Kyran could probably use an ice pack for his head..." She didn't really know if here was the best place to ask for that, but she figured the kitchen would probably have a better chance at having ice than the medical room would and that would probably save someone in there a trip.

Yotsy 11-29-2008 06:17 AM

Aamori stared at Kanone while he started spouting out questions and then sighed heavily. That right there was probably why Celestine hadn't said anything to him, himself. She turned her head away and stared over at her bookcase. "Like I said before, when I came into the building he was out cold." She still wasn't exactly sure how it happened and she was having a hard time believing that Zale or Kyiri was the culprit. They were just playing when she left the building, after all. "If you fall into a fountain you're bound to be underwater, even just a little." She uttered. "He didn't appear to have taken in any water until I pulled him out. I think he breathed in just as the sheet of water ran past his face." She said quietly. She started to glance back over at him while she tried to recall just what all he had forgotten. "...It was just some stuff from this morning. Nothing really ...important ...so I guess he could survive just fine without remembering it." She said and then sighed softly. Well, part of her was a little upset that he couldn't remember their arguement but then again maybe it was better that he didn't remember it. That made one less argument that they'd had, right? "He said he couldn't remember anything that happened after he had come out of the room and gone up on the roof." She paused. "...I think that might be roughly twenty or thirty minutes that he can't remember." She looked over at him and stared for a moment after she heard what he'd said, he was quieter, but she still managed to hear it. She sighed softly and shook her head a little. "Don't." She started. "He said he wanted to sleep it off and if you go check on him and he's already asleep and you wake him, you're only going to make him upset."

The cook nodded to her. "Of course." He paused. "And an ice pack?" He turned without bothering to wait for an answer and went to the farther part of the kitchen and stepped into the pantry where he could no longer be seen. He headed straight for their freezer that they kept in the back of the pantry. Since they fed so many, of course it was a walk in. He was back there for a few minutes rummaging around in the freezer looking for an ice pack that they could spare. He finally did come back out of the freezer and pantry and walked all the way back to the counter to hand her a black pack that was about the size of a greeting card. "Here. This isn't quite ice, but it serves the same purpose." He paused. "We use those to keep some of the foods well frozen since we open the door back there so often. It's got a gel inside that will stay colder a bit longer than ice and the black material of the pack is the same type of stuff the fighter suits are made of so it shouldn't leak either." He explained and then started over to the area where they kept the plates of prepared food warm. He'd already decided to start making more food at the meals since there had been more guests the past couple days. Rather than chance being out of something when someone was hungry he and the other cook had just decided to make more food. Better to be safe than sorry. He picked up two of the plates and walked them over to another counter before setting them down. He then started to reach into a couple of bowls that were sitting there. He'd already cut some fruit previously to be set on the side of the plates once they removed them from the warmer. Once he finished with the fruits he picked up the plates again and walked them over to the counter and set them down in front of Hikari. Lastly, he retrieved some silverware and set that down as well. After that he glanced back up to her and smiled lightly. "I hope you two don't mind simple breakfast omelets and fruit." He said as he stepped away from the counter and reached for a cloth to start wiping his hands. "Oh, and since you all appear to be staying here for a little while, my names Annan and he's Kanu." He said as he motioned with his head to the other who was still cooking. "If you need anything don't be ashamed to ask." He told her as he set the cloth down. They enjoyed what they did so they really didn't mind serving others and they didn't mind making special orders. It was actually more fun to do special orders, though of course, those did take time.

Cyndel 11-29-2008 07:17 AM

Kanone glanced back to Aamori again and sighed heavily. "...I guess..." he shook his head slightly. "I wasn't going to wake him up if he was sleeping..." He looked down to the pillow and sighed. "Well, what should I do with this then?" He asked before to tossed it at her face lightly. He shifted a little further into the room and leaned against the wall near the door before he crossed his arms. "...So what were you two arguing about this time?" He asked with a weak smile, obviously trying to get off on something else before he started sounding too much like his mother.

Hikari nodded when the cook asked about the ice pack and then watched as he wandered off. She tilted her head slightly at the little think that he brought back and smiled slightly when he started to explain what it was. "Interesting... Thanks." she said lightly, smiling at him again, "I'll be sure to return it later." she told him with another nod before he went to go get the food for her. She smiled when he sat the plates in front of her and her stomach growled quietly. She blinked and then blushed a little. After he'd put the silverware down she started to gather it up and then looked at him with a smile. "Oh no, it's perfectly fine. It looks really good, thank you." she said with a smile. She tilted her head slightly when he introduced himself and his partner and then nodded. "My name is Hikari." she told him, since it was just second nature to her to introduce herself after someone had given their name. She smiled at him again and nodded when he told her not to be ashamed to ask. "Thank you." she said lightly before she started to gather up the plates and ice pack. She blinked and then glanced to the door before she tucked the ice pack into her pocket. Oh WOW that's cold! she thought as she gathered the plates up again. "See you again later." she said brightly before she started to the door. She paused for a moment and then shifted the hand that she was holding the silverware with a little before she balanced the other plate on her arm while she pulled open the door. Once she managed that she took the other plate in her hand again and stepped out into the hallway again. She glanced back and wrapped her tail around the door handle, pulling it closed behind her before she continued on to the bedroom again, pushing the door open lightly with her shoulder before she stepped back into the bedroom and backed up against the door to close it. "Hello, I come bearing gifts." she said with a soft laugh. She moved over to the bed and sat her plate down on the night stand and then put the other in Kyran's lap along with his silverware. She placed her silverware on her plate and then quickly fished inside her pocket to get out the cold pack that she'd borrowed. "Whoo and here..." she said with a slight smile as she held it out to him, "For your head."

Yotsy 11-29-2008 08:35 AM

Aamori sighed softly. "I didn't say that you'd wake him up." She paused. "But if his head really is bothering him badly than I wouldn't be surprised for him to wake up just because you opened the door or something." She could've been wrong but she thought he might be a little more sensitive with a headache. She started to look at him when he asked his question and then her eyes widened just before the pillow hit her in the face. She was glad that it was just a pillow and more so that there wasn't a hand connected to that flying pillow at any point. Once the pillow fell into her lap she set a hand down on top of it before lifting the other to rub her face slightly. "...That didn't mean you were supposed to throw it at me." She said as she looked down at the pillow for a moment. She lifted her eyes back to him when he asked what they had argued about. She was quiet for a moment. "It's ...not ...important." She mumbled while absently tightening her grip on the pillow. She knew better than to go telling him what her and Celestine had been arguing about. He didn't really need to know any of that, anyway. She stared down at the pillow for a moment before she picked it up with her hand and threw it back at him a little harder than he'd tossed it at her.

Kyran was still sitting there on the bed leaning forward slightly as to not accidentally drop his head back onto the headboard again. His ears perked slightly when he heard the door shut and then lifted his eyes to look at Hikari while she walked over and then set the plate down in his lap. He stared down at it briefly before picking up a piece of the fruit and putting it into his mouth. He looked to her again when she 'here' and that it was for his head. He reached out to take what she'd held out to him. He was quite surprised by the feel and the fact that it was as cold as it was. He couldn't stare at it for very long just because his hand was already tired of the cold. He slipped it behind his head and then very carefully leaned his head back on the headboard so that he could make an attempt at keeping that cold pack in place while he tried to eat. Hopefully that wasn't going to be all that hard to manage. The pack felt great even if it was really cold. He was awfully glad that she'd brought this for his head without his asking. He was going to try and get something for his head after he'd eaten and now he wasn't going to have to. "Thank you." He paused. "...For both the food and the pack." He smiled a bit and then looked back down at the food. He sure was hungry and the omelet did look pretty good. He reached down and took another piece of fruit and ate that before looking to her again. "...Have any trouble with the door this time?" He asked quietly.

Cyndel 11-29-2008 08:59 AM

Kanone glanced up to her again and then tilted his head slightly, though he grinned when the pillow came flying at him. He simply held up one hand and grabbed onto the pillowcase as it came at his face before he half smiled. "...It must have been kind of important if you were upset enough to leave." he said lightly. He tossed the pillow back to her again, still not as hard as she'd thrown it at him. If she threw it back again they'd probably wind up playing hot potato with the thing. "It's alright, Cel's still just a hot head...it doesn't take much to stark and argument with him." He sighed softly and tilted his head again, "Let me guess...he's still mad because I'm here, right?" he ventured.

Hikari smiled at Kyran when he thanked her and then shrugged. "Don't mention it." she said softly, "It's the least I could do..." She finally picked up her own plate as her tunny gave another noisy rumble. She just sat back similarly to the way that Kyran was sitting and sat the plate in her lap before forking a few pieces of fruit and sticking them in her mouth. She was too hungry to worry about being proper right now, she just wanted to eat. She glanced over to Kyran when he asked about the door and smiled slightly. "Not much. I just balanced the plate on my arm and used my hand." she said simply, "and I left this door ajar." She had at least thought to do that much. She chuckled softly and then when right back to filling the edge of her fork with fruit and then poking it into her mouth before she finally cut into the omelet and took a bite out of it.

Yotsy 11-29-2008 06:24 PM

Aamori wasn't paying attention to that pillow at all after she threw it and got hit with it again after he'd thrown it back at her once more. She stared at him after the pillow fell into her lap and then shook her head lightly with a slight smile. She was thankful that Kanone wasn't like Celestine. He probably would've gotten mad for her throwing a pillow at him and said something about her being childish, especially if she kept throwing the pillow back. She picked up the pillow again and threw it back at Kanone, again, a little harder. "...Yes ...unfortunately. Though ...I don't think ...that's not exactly what set him off." She said with a sigh. "In his eyes I guess I overstepped my boundary and if I hadn't just walked away I foresaw that possibly turning into another physical thing like when I kept purposely calling him by a name he didn't want me to..." She uttered quietly. She couldn't have said for sure, but there were apparent topics and things that you just didn't say around Celestine and if he was upset or angry enough than a slapping was in order and she wouldn't hold it past him to do that again because of something she said without really thinking.

Kyran finished up the fruit that was on his plate pretty quickly while Hikari was sitting down and then answering his question. He was still trying to keep that pack held in place behind his head and he tried to stare down at the plate in his lap. He was pretty sure that eating the omelet was going to be more difficult to maneuver than the fruit that he could just pick up with his hand. He sighed softly and made an honest attempt at cutting a piece, though that was difficult since it was hard to look down and keep his head pressed against the headboard. "Sounds like you had an easier time of it than the other night." He commented before returning his attention to the plate in his lap. It didn't take very long for him to give up and just remove his head from the headboard. Which of course let the pack drop down onto his pillow, but at least now he could see what he was doing and hopefully eat the omelet without unknowingly butchering it. Having the cold off of his head was alright at first but after a few bites of the omelet he was already feeling a slight throbbing sensation from the knot.

Cyndel 11-29-2008 06:54 PM

Kanone again raised his hand quickly to catch the pillow and chuckled softly. "Are you playing catch or trying to knock me out?" he asked playfully. He just started to toss the pillow into the air and then catch it again. He sighed when he heard her answer to his question and then shook his head slightly. "...Eh...he'll get over me being here eventually. I wouldn't worry about him too much... He's just really touchy in some areas..." He sighed and when turned his eyes from her to the pillow as he continued to toss it up and down. "...I think the main ones are animal mistreatment, his looks, and death, those are just three areas you never want to touch with him. He does not believe in doing anything to hurt animals. He'd about starve before he'd kill something to eat it. Then there's the fact that he looks like a girl.... Don't ever joke about putting him in a dress or doing makeup on him or he will throw a tantrum. And then...the last one...well I guess it's kind of a given... Death bothers him...a lot... He doesn't like talking about it, he doesn't like hearing about it, and he doesn't like thinking about it... I've been trying to avoid mentioning mother around him... I mean he was the same way with his own parents... He just gets upset really easily when things like that are brought up. I know Mom drove him nuts, but he did look at her almost like a mother... I'm sure he really misses her, too." He looked back up to Aamori again and smiled, "But I guess that's about it. Just avoid those topics and about anything else can be smoothed over." He grinned at her and then threw the pillow back at her again, a little harder this time. "And if you really want to get under his skin, call him 'Celly.' Haha, he hates that even more than he hates Cel." He shook his head slightly, "...But if he ever hits you again...either hit him back or tell me and I'll do it. He may look like a girl but that's no reason to hit one."

Hikari chuckled softly and nodded. "Yes, a bit." she said lightly as she continued eating. She was liable to make herself sick as fast as she was chowing down on that omelet. she was already nearly half finished with it. She glanced over to Kyran when she noticed that the ice pack had fallen away from his head. she smiled weakly and shook her head before she resumed finishing off her omelet and then picked off the last of the fruit before she sat the empty plate aside on the night stand. One thing was for certain, she could certainly clean her plate quickly when she was hungry enough. After a moment she reached down to the ice pack on the pillow and picked it up again before lightly pressing it to the back of his head while he went about cutting up and eating his omelet.
