Aamori glanced over to Kanone when he came over and smiled a little. "Couldn't handle walking around the front all by yourself?" She asked with a quiet chuckle. She was about to start heading back when she finally remembered that she wasn't carrying anything. Now that she thought about it she'd dropped the bag before heading upstairs. She started to turn around to go back to Sanura's to retrieve it but noticed that Kyran was already carrying it. She stared at the bag for a brief moment and then looked up to Kyran. "You picked that up for me?" She paused and smiled. "Thank you." She had honestly thought she left it in the store so she was glad to see that Kyran had it and it looked like he was going to be nice enough to carry it for her. She turned back again and then started walking. Though this time she decided to just cut through the park rather than walk around to the paths. There wasn't anything that said you couldn't walk through the park she usually just stuck to the paths. Since going through the park was faster they'd reach the building in no time at all. She then walked around the building until she came to the large doors and then paused to make sure that she hadn't actually lost anyone. She doubted that she could considering it was pretty much a straight shot from Sanura's to the training building.

Kyran looked down to Hikari when he felt her take his hand and then smiled. He was glad that they had gotten this little outing even if it had ended fairly quickly thanks to a couple of crabs. It had been nice to walk around with Hikari when they weren't worried about anything in particular. If he remembered correctly the last time that he and Hikari had gotten the chance to walk somewhere on their own was in Caledonia, walking back to Sonia's from Marius' and they spent the majority of the time talking about the possible Hydra in that forest. He lifted his eyes and looked over at Aamori when she looked back at him and asked about the bag. He gave a slight nod after her question. "You're welcome." He responded. Once Aamori started walking back to the training building he of course followed. As soon as they had reached the building and Aamori stopped to check to see if everyone was there he released Hikari's hand and stepped around everyone so that he could get to the door. He then opened the door and held it open so that everyone could go inside.

Cyndel 12-09-2008 07:57 AM

Kanone shook his head at Aamori and then huffed and patted her on the nose again. "Just didn't want you to feel insecure." he said playfully. He glanced back when Aamori did and then half smiled when he realized she was looking for her bag. It looked like it was a good thing Kyran had grabbed it or she would have probably forgotten it. Once she got moving he followed close beside her and kept pretty quiet as they returned to the building, though his eyes wandered all over the place as they cut through the park. He smiled again when Aamori started looking around like she was afraid she'd lost someone. He noticed she always only thought to check after she'd already gotten there. Once Kyran moved to open the door he just smiled slightly. Heh, overachiever. The guy was already carrying his own things and Aamori's and still trying to open doors. Well at any rate he was pretty sure that he hadn't really opened it for him, so he did at least wait until the girls had gone inside before he started in himself.

Hikari was quiet on the way back, though she never once let go of Kyran's hand. She was glad they'd gotten to go out, even though the fun for her was short lived. Once they got back to the training building and Kyran let go of her hand she smiled, already realizing that he was heading for the door. She let Aamori go inside and then thanked him before she stepped inside again. She glanced back to make sure that Kyran was coming and then glanced back to Aamori again to see if she had anything to say before she wandered off go try to comb out her hair again.

Yotsy 12-09-2008 08:28 AM

Aamori smiled seeing Kyran had gone to get the door for them. She stepped inside and then turned back to the door to wait for everyone else to come in before she stepped closer to Kyran to take her bag back. She needed to get some things out of it and figured she could drop the bag by door or something, just somewhere that Nanashi or LaRae might see it. She then stepped over to Hikari and held her hand out. "I can take your clothes. If I drop them down through the chute in my room they'll be done sooner." She said while she waited for her to hand her clothes over. It was kind of nice to have anything dropped through the chute in her room cleaned ahead of everything else. Her things were a special priority but that probably wasn't a surprise.

Kyran waited for everyone to pass through and then followed after, making sure to shut the door behind him. He stood there for a moment and then looked to Aamori when she came over and took the bag from him. He let her take it easily enough and then glanced as she stepped over to Hikari and mentioned getting her clothes cleaned faster. He looked back down at the bag for a moment and remembered that he'd stuck that bandanna in there. "Oh yeah... there's a bandanna in the bag for Nanashi." He said a bit unaware that the majority of the items in the bag had been for Nanashi. He had hoped mentioning the bandanna would mean that she'd get it to him on his behalf.

Cyndel 12-09-2008 08:53 AM

Hikari smiled slightly when Aamori offered to take her clothes and then nodded once before he handed over her shorts and shirt. "Thanks." she said again as she shifted her hold on her boots and then glanced back to Kyran briefly when he mentioned the bandanna in the bag. She smiled slightly and then sighed softly, "I'm going to go put my boots int he ro--Oh! Wait..." She sat the boots down and then reached back to her shorts again, "Let me borrow these for a second..." she said as she took them back and reached into the pocket to get her folded up pass. She pulled it out as carefully as she could and then sighed softly. The thing looked like it was glued together already with the way it was folded, though it could probably peeled apart if one worked carefully enough. She laughed weakly as she looked at the paper and then shook her head before she handed the shorts back to Aamori again. "There, don't need that disintegrating in my pocket; I may never get it all out." she said with a slight smile. He reached down to pick up her boots again and then glanced back to Kyran again briefly before she started down the hallway again.

Kanone just stood there with his arms crossed over his chest until Hikari started to walk off, then he glanced over to Aamori, "Well, while we're here I'm going to go change clothes. But...um...there a shower or something I can rinse off in first? I don't want to spell like fish water all day." he said with a laugh. He didn't plan to take an all out shower or bath, mostly jsut rinse off the ocean water and maybe wash his hair, which wouldn't take more than five minutes.

Yotsy 12-09-2008 09:26 AM

Aamori took the shirt and shorts when Hikari released them. She was going to go to her room right away but stopped when Hikari said 'wait'. She stood quietly while Hikari fished her pass from the pocket and then took the shorts back once she didn't need them any longer. She smiled and shook her head slightly at Hikari's mention of never getting all of the paper out of her pocket if the shorts went through the wash with the pass still inside. She again was about to head to her room but glanced to Kanone when he started to ask about a shower. "Oh.. well.. it probably isn't the type of shower you're used to.." She started. The only thing resembling a shower was the waterfall in the bath itself. "There's a bath on either side of the building, just past the guest rooms. Make sure you use the right one... there's one for girls and one for guys." She said and then started into the courtyard. She was a bit ready herself to change a little so she went straight to her bedroom after telling Kanone where to go. She was pretty sure that he'd figure out where to go from what she'd told him. It wasn't all that hard after all. Once she was in her room she went to set the bag down on her bed and then stepped over to her closet. She pulled the doors open and dropped Hikari's clothes in the chute before returning to the bag. She pulled her holster out and set it down on the bed before pulling her clothes out as well. Now that only the things for Nanashi remained in the bag she picked it up again and started out of her room. She then walked down the hall to the room that LaRae and Nanashi were using. She thought briefly about knocking to see if anyone was awake so she could give the bag to them personally but she wanted to be quick about it since she wanted to try and get cleaned up too. She hung the bag on the door and then went back to her room to grab her clothes.

Kyran stood patiently while Hikari got her pass and handed her stuff off to Aamori. Once she started to walk off he started after her. He lifted his vest up while he was walking and started to unbutton the pockets so that he could pull the papers out. It didn't seem like they'd gotten quite as wet as they could have. If he'd been facing that wave when it hit they surely would have been in worse shape. They were still wet however and were going to need to dry. He sighed softly and lifted his eyes just as he got near the room. Again he moved ahead of her so that he could get the door for her. He really didn't mind holding doors for women, it was actually a habit instilled in him by his father when he was younger so it just happened a little involuntarily. Though, if a girl reached the door before him he was going to let her open it herself, unless she stood off to the side and waited for him to get it.

Cyndel 12-09-2008 10:07 AM

Kanone nodded slightly to Aamori and then started back toward the room he was sharing with Celestine. He opened the door quietly and glanced over to the bed. There was a sigh of relief when he saw that Celestine was still sleeping and he stepped further into the room, closing the door behind him without latching. He started over to his bag and then paused and looked back to the bed again before walking over, just to see how Celestine was doing. He smiled slightly seeing the way that he was curled up against Nobu with Esen's head nearly laying on him. He reached out to stoke the top of Eden's head since she'd looked up when he came over and then very lightly brushed Celestine's hair out of his face. He smiled again and then shook his head before he started over to the couch again and opened his bag to dig out his clothes. he fished out another pair of pants that were similar to the ones he wore now, only a lighter shade of brown with a three leather strings hanging off of each side and a green bead at the end of each one. He then dragged out another shirt, similar tot he one that he'd been wearing before only deep forest green and more form fitting than the blue one that Aamori was borrowing. Once he had the clothes he headed back out to the hallway and walked down to the nearest bath and checked the door. Well at least he didn't have to make a trip tot he other side of the building it seemed. He opened the door to the bathroom and then blinked at the sheer size of the place, "Well, stone the crows..." he muttered quietly before he started over to the screen. He snagged a towel off of the shelf and then hung his clothes on one of the hooks. He then kicked his still squishing boots off and slipped out of his pants, just tossing them in a pile against the wall for now. He knelt down by them for just a moment and pulled out his pass before tucking it into the pocket of his clean pants before he forgot about it. He then wrapped himself up and walked over to the bath and laid the towel on the edge before he sank down in the water. He took a deep breath and then just went under the water for a few seconds before he resurfaced again and checked the bottles on the side of the bath, trying to figure out which one was the shampoo.

Hikari was just about to reach out to get the door when Kyran slipped past her and got it before she got there. She chuckled softly and thanked him again before she stepped into the room. She walked over to the couch and sat her boots down beside of it before she headed back over to the night stand and picked up the comb to try to brush the tangles from her hair again. "At this rate, they're going to run out of shampoo... This is going to make the third time I've had to wash my hair since we got here." she commented quietly as she say on the edge of the bed.

Yotsy 12-09-2008 10:38 AM

Aamori only stepped into her room again long enough to grab her clothes off of the bed and a change of underwear. She then stepped out of her room and walked over to the females bath, opening the door and slipping inside. She walked over to the shelf that the towels were set on and set down her dry clothes while pulling a towel from the lower shelf. She set that down beside her clothes and then started to untie the rope from her waist. She put that down on the shelf as well as the shirt she was borrowing from Kanone once she'd removed it. She then knelt down and undid the buckles on her sandals before stepping out of them as she stood up. She reached over her shoulder to her back and pulled the bow from the dress she had on and caught it before it fell off of her. She sighed softly wishing she didn't have to put her Elder clothes back on after she cleaned up. She eyed Kanone's shirt for a moment as she let go of her dress and let it fall to the floor. She was pretty sure since Kanone hadn't asked for that back that he must have had another shirt with him. If he didn't need it... She smiled slightly and grabbed her towel before heading around the screen and over to the bath. She set the towel down just before the steps and got into the warm bath wasting little time grabbing the bottles for her hair.

Kyran nodded slightly and then followed her into the room, shutting the door behind him. He waited until she had set down her boots and moved over to the couch, draping his vest over the arm and then setting the papers down on the cushion as he knelt down. He then finally pulled his boots down from his shoulder and tried to work the knot out of the laces since he'd tied them together like he had. It took him a moment but he got the laces free and set the boots down. He looked over at Hikari and smiled slightly. "I wouldn't worry about running out of shampoo." He paused. "They make it themselves and I'm pretty sure that someone goes around and replaces the shampoos, towels, robes and such every so often." He shook his head lightly. "Probably more often since we've been here." He commented. There probably had been a lot more laundry to do lately and more shampoo to replace and what not since it went from one person on the main floor using the baths to seven, well, eight now if you counted Kanone. He stood up and reached for the papers before moving over to the dresser that was in the room. He set them down on top of it and one at a time he carefully unfolded them and set them out flat. He glanced them over and sighed softly. They didn't look too bad and the one he was most concerned about, the one from the Elders, it was still easily legible.

Cyndel 12-09-2008 11:11 AM

Kanone finally found the shampoo and poured a bit out into his hand before he started to work it through his hair. While he was doing that he started to wade over to the waterfall in the bath and just stared at it for a few moments until he was finished with his hair and then held his breath and stepped under it. He let the water fall over his head and force all of the shampoo out of his hair. Once he'd managed to get all of the suds out he stepped out from under the water and took a deep breath. He flipped his hair back over his head and then started back toward the steps, grabbing the towel on the way up. He wrapped it around his waste and then walked back tot he screen before he started to dry himself off quickly. He snagged another towel and tried to dry out his hair the best that he could before he started getting dressed again. He put on his clean pants and then the shirt before he glanced around again and walked over to the little basket chute unsurely. He opened it and looked down before he dropped the towels in, hoping that was where they went. If not...well there weren't many other places to put them. He reached down to snag his wet pants again and then remembered the comb that he'd gotten from Aamori. He pulled it from his pocket and dropped the pants again while he combed his hair out quickly and then pulled it up into a ponytail the way that he usually did. Considering that his hair was still damp and the hairband was wet it was a little hard to get it up, but he finally managed to make it stick and then reached down to grab his shoes, though he didn't bother to put them on since they were still drenched. He just snagged his pants and then started out of the bathroom again. He guessed he could lay the pants in the room to dry with his shoes; he didn't know what else to do with them.

Hikari smiled weakly and then shook her head at Kyean's comment about the shampoo. "Oh, I'm sure..." she said quietly. "As many towels as I've used I feel sorry for whoever does the laundry...plus this makes the second time that outfit has been washed since we've been here." She shook her head again and then sighed as she watched him unfold the papers. She laid her comb on the night stand again and picked up her pass from where she'd traded it out for her comb and then walked over to Kyran and held it up. "Think you can save it?" she asked. Her pass was pretty well drenched since it had been in the pocket that was facing the water when she was hit.

Yotsy 12-09-2008 11:33 AM

Aamori opened the shampoo bottle and put some shampoo onto her hand before closing it up again and setting it on the edge of the bath. She then started working it through her hair while she was sitting there on her knees. She dipped her head back once she had finished lathering up her hair and and held her breath while she dunked her head back and ran her hands through the top of her head to work out the shampoo. When she sat back up she continued washing it out of her hair until it was shampoo-free. She sighed softly and grabbed the another bottle with scented liquid soap in it and emptied some onto her hands before she started to wash her body too. She may have loved the ocean but she could only stand to smell of it for so long unless she could do something about it. She finished up and rinsed herself off by dunking in the water. Once she was done she moved back to the steps and grabbed the towel before standing up and stepping out of the bath. She went straight over to the screen after she wrapped the towel around her tightly. She made sure to grab another towel and work at towel drying her mass of hair as much as possible. Unfortunately she couldn't be finished in the bath quite as quickly as Kanone, but it wouldn't take her too much longer to finish up.

Kyran glanced over to Hikari and shook his head a little. "I doubt you've used as many towels as I had to the night I had to make sure that Nanashi got clean." He paused. "I think the three of us made a mess more than anything." He commented quietly as he looked down to the pass that she held up. He wasn't sure he was really saving his own, he was just letting it air dry opened up. He looked her pass over a little while she held it up and sighed softly as he reached for it. "Yours looks a bit worse off than mine, but if we let it dry out after it's opened it should, hopefully be alright." He said as he looked at her pass again. He didn't want to rip it while he tried to open it so he was a bit more careful with it than he was with his. After all the paper was so wet that it barely felt like it could handle being pinched between his fingers. He continued peeling the folds back slowly until he had finally managed to get it completely unfolded. He'd gotten it set out on the top of the dresser next to his pass and it, thankfully, only suffered one minor rip while he was opening it.

Cyndel 12-09-2008 09:46 PM

Kanone shivered slightly when his bare feet touched the stone floor, but it didn't bother him too bad. It beat the heck out of soggy boots. He sighed as he opened the bathroom door and walked out into the hallway again, glancing around briefly before he walked back to the room again. He opened the door just as quietly as he had before and then walked over to the couch again. He just sat his shoes in the floor and then laid his pants out next to them. He didn't want to get the couch wet and the pants were already dirty, so the floor was just fine for them. He sighed softly and then glanced back over to the bed briefly before he went back to the door and slipped out into the hallway again while closing it lightly behind him. He didn't want to end up waking Celestine up by moving around too much in there, so he tried to make this trip short. Once he'd made it back to the hallway he just sighed and walked out to the fountain in the courtyard to sit and wait for Aamori.

Hikari smiled weakly when she said that the three of them had made a mess more than anything. "Well...at least everyone got clean." she said with a weak laugh. She watched as he tried to open her pass and then sighed in relief when he managed to get it open with little more than a minor rip. "So long as it dries..." she said quietly, "You would think with all of the water around here they would have waterproofed these by now." she said with a soft laugh. It made sense to her, but then again maybe that would have just been more trouble than they felt like putting up with. It seemed a lot of the guards weren't all that thrilled about having outsiders here in the first place.

Yotsy 12-09-2008 11:21 PM

Aamori dried her hair as best as she could with the towel. Again, wishing that her hair was shorter. It would've been so much easier to just wrap her hair up in the towel and leave it on her head but with how long her hair was she'd need one massive sized towel and unfortunately she'd probably fall over after getting the towel up on her head. She sighed softly and took the towel she was using for her hair and dropped it on top of her dress that was laying on the floor. Then she moved to her dry clothes and fished out her wetsuit so that she could squeeze into it. The suit was a little bit of a pain to get into sometimes, especially when she had no patience. After she managed to get that on and zipped up she glanced back to her Elders clothes and then over to the shirt she borrowed from Kanone. She had intended to put her Elders clothes back on since she didn't have anything else to wear but if they were still going to go walking around a little than she didn't exactly want to be wearing her Elders clothes. She would really draw a lot more attention to herself that way and she wasn't sure she wanted to put Kanone through all of that. She reached over and grabbed her Elders clothes and threw them down on top of the towels and her dress before kneeling down to pick everything up and walk it over to the chute. She opened the lid with her tail and then dropped everything inside before returning to the shelf where she then picked up his shirt and started to put it back on. Since it wasn't dry yet the shirt was a bit cold against her skin but it didn't phase her too much. She then reached for the rope and tied that back around her waist before grabbing her sandals and heading for the door. She opened the door and slipped back out into the hall again. The stone floor was cold against the bottom of her feet but she paid little mind to it as she headed for her room. She didn't bother looking around to see where Kanone was, mostly because she wanted to get to her room and brush out her hair. That was the last thing that she needed to do before she'd be ready to go again. She stepped into her room as soon as she reached it and dropped her sandals by her closet as she made her way over to the vanity to pick up her usual brush.

Kyran looked down to Hikari and smiled slightly. "Well... two of us were clean because we wanted to be and the other well... he just kind of fell in." He laughed quietly and then shifted his eyes back to the passes and looked at them for a moment. "Water proofing them does sound like it'd be something to look into." He paused. "But I get the feeling they don't expect everyone to go getting wet while wearing their clothes that are holding their pass." He said and shook his head a little. "I wouldn't be surprised if the passes are made like this and you're only told you get one because they want you to treat them as priceless and important." He paused. "I mean... how must it look if someone got their pass ripped, wet, stolen or something and they kept going back asking for a replacement? Would you really want to give that person another one even if every time it was just an accident." He said quietly. He couldn't be sure that was the reason that made Hisako say that they only got one pass but it was a decent enough guess and as it stood this territory really seemed to be big on the whole pass thing. Even Aamori had to have a pass, if you wanted to be technical. Her staff and her Elder clothes for all intents and purposes served as her pass.

Cyndel 12-10-2008 04:04 AM

Kanone just sat there silently while he waited for Aamori, though he glanced back over his shoulder when he thought he heard her door open. He stood up and looked around the fountain at her door before he smiled slightly and then sighed and walked over to her door to lean casually against the frame. He raised an eyebrow and tilted his head slightly, "You're still wearing my shirt?" he asked with a soft laugh, "That's not exactly the dressiest thing you could fit in." he said with a smile. He didn't mind if she wanted to borrow his shirt, he just hoped that Hisako didn't throw it out like she seemed to like to do with the other clothes Aamori used that didn't have that symbol on them.

Hikari laughed softly at what Kyran said about the baths. "Oh my..." The way that Celestine was with water she could only imagine how much he liked that. "At least we weren't the only ones who got our passes drenched, I suppose..." She listened to Kyran's theory about why they might limit the passes to one per person and then shrugged slightly. "...I suppose so... But even still accidents do happen, and paper...doesn't do so well around so much water." She sighed and sank back down on the bed again, "Oh well..." she said quietly as she leaned back on her arms. "Oh...speaking of passes...did you think to check Nanashi's pockets for his before you had his clothes cleaned?" She could only assume that he'd had them cleaned since Nanashi clearly wasn't wearing them and she didn't see them laying around the room anywhere.

Yotsy 12-10-2008 04:49 AM

Aamori stood near her vanity after she picked up her brush and started to brush her hair. She paused however when she heard Kanone and glanced over to her door. She smiled slightly since he had asked about his shirt. She looked down at it and then looked back over at him. "...I thought you wanted to continue the tour and rather than draw attention to myself by wearing my usual clothes I thought I'd borrow your shirt a little longer." She paused. "Unless you want it back..." She hadn't really bothered to ask if he minded. She didn't think he would mind that much considering he'd put it on her to begin with and he hadn't asked for it back once they returned here. She looked at him for a moment longer and then went right back to brushing out her hair.

Kyran glanced back at her after she sank down on the bed. "You kind of make it sound like they shouldn't have paper period, just because of the water." He paused. "Even still, I do agree that they should look into at the very least waterproofing their passes." He started over to the couch again and lifted his vest up from the arm of the couch. It didn't feel like it was that wet, or well, it was drying fast. Much faster than anything else he was wearing. He sighed softly and started to lay it open over the top of this boots. Thinking if he left out like that it might be dry in no time. He stood there for a moment when Hikari asked about checking Nanashi's pockets before getting his clothes cleaned. It was probably obvious by how stiff he'd gotten that he hadn't even thought to check his pockets. He was far too focused on just getting him cleaned up and back in a bed. He sighed heavily and then shook his head. "...No ...I'm afraid that never once crossed my mind." He said quietly. Honestly, his mind wasn't even in the right place after everything that had happened so of course he hadn't thought of something like that.

Cyndel 12-10-2008 05:45 AM

Kanone smiled slightly and then shook his head and held up his hand. "Nah, go ahead. I don't care...just make sure it doesn't get tossed." he said with a soft laugh, "That's my favorite shirt, ya know." He watched as she brushed out her hair and chuckled softly, "You're such a girl...taking forever." he teased. He walked into the room and over to stand behind her, "Why don't you just put it in a ponytail?" he suggested, "That way it'll look fine and you don't have to fool with it so much." He reached up to her hair and gathered it all back, holding it as if he was ready to put it in a ponytail and then smiled slightly. "See?"

Hikari smiled slightly, "Not at all, just not paper that they expect someone to keep with them all of the time and not mess up." she said simply. It was kind of hard to go to the beaches and enjoy yourself if you had to worry about keeping your pass dry. Of course she had never had any intention of getting close enough to the water to get wet; the water kind of came to her. Still it was just a tad inconvenient. She sighed softly and then shook her head slightly when Kyran said that he hadn't thought to save the contents of Nanashi's pockets. "Oh well.... it looks like he got most of his things back, I'm sure LaRae went to get it for him. Maybe she caught it before it got washed." she said. She hoped that she had. After all, it was going to be difficult for Nanashi to get around the islands. Out of everyone he was probably the most likely to get stopped. "If not maybe you can do some of that sweet talking you were talking about earlier." she said with a slight laugh, "I'm sure since Hisako already knows what happened she could understand everyone being a bit too rattled to think about that."

Yotsy 12-10-2008 07:29 AM

Aamori finished brushing most of her hair started to set the brush back down on the vanity before looking back at him. "I think it's a little more than obvious that this shirt isn't mine, nor was it meant for me. Not to mention I think Hisako saw you in it yesterday... so she knows it's yours." She paused. "So it shouldn't get thrown out." She stared at him for a moment when he made the stereotypical girl comment and then shook her head lightly. "Forgive me for taking a few minutes longer than you to try and look nice." She said with a slight shrug of her shoulders. She watched him walk over and then just sat there quietly for a moment while he gathered her hair. "I know… it looks nice up." She said after he had said 'see'. "I don't usually bother with putting it up because it's difficult for me to do by myself." She paused. "There's a lot of hair on my head, you know." She also had trouble with putting her hair up because of her horns. There was only so much room between her horns and her hair either had to be tied above or below them. It was just more of a hassle so she usually never bothered putting her hair up. The one time that she had recently, Celestine had told her she needed to and had he not told her that, she wouldn't have done a thing with it.

Kyran nodded his head slightly after listening to her. "I hope you're right." He paused. "Nanashi doesn't need to be wondering around without one." He commented and then started sit down on the couch. He stopped himself before he had actually sat down and then set himself down on the floor just in front of the couch. He didn't need to get the couch, or any furniture wet by sitting on it. He sighed softly. "They really need to come up with a term other than 'sweet' talking." He said as he started to pull his shirt up over his head. He didn't bother taking it off completely. He kept his arms through the sleeves and just let the shirt rest over his chest as he leaned back on the couch. "I suppose if Nanashi's pass has bitten the dust, I'll try and talk Hisako into a new one." Now that he was thinking about it he did feel a little stupid for forgetting to check his pockets. That should've been one of the first things that he did. He shook his head lightly. Well, hopefully his pass was in one piece and it wouldn't require him having to sweet talk Hisako.

Kanone smiled slightly and sighed as he shook his head. He released Aamori's hair and then wrapped his arms around her neck and raised his chin up to rest on her head. "Hmm..." He reached under his bracelet and slipped off one of the hair ties that Sanura had given him before he pulled his arms back and took a step back. Once he had the room he gathered Aamori's hair back again and then put the hair tie in, starting at about her shoulder blades. He pulled it through as many times as he could and then slid it down to her mid back before pulling her hair through one more time to tighten it up, leaving her hair in a loose ponytail. "There... How's that look?" he asked with a slight smile. It looked good to him from back here at least. He'd seen Celestine wear his hair like that a few times.

Hikari smiled slightly, "Well...maybe we wont have to worry too much about it either way... Nanashi doesn't seem the overly adventurous type, I doubt he would do much wandering around unless he was with the lot of us...and I'm sure he's smart enough to know that if he doesn't have a pass that he doesn't need to go outside." She sighed softly and stood up off of the bed before she walked over to Kyran and sat down on the couch beside where he was sitting in the floor. She reached down to the sandals she was borrowing and unbuckled them before she slipped them off and drew her legs up onto the couch so she could scoot over to sit behind him. She smiled slightly and then reached down to his head and started to comb her fingers through his hair gently. "How's that knot doing?" she asked softly.

Aamori was quiet when he wrapped his arms around her neck and glanced up briefly when he put his chin on top of her head. As soon as he started to remove one of the hair ties she looked down to see what he was doing just in time to catch him pulling his arms back. She smiled slightly once he'd gathered her hair again and continued to keep quiet while he was putting the hair tie in her hair. It was kind of nice to have someone else do something with her hair for once. It'd been years since even her mother had done her hair and it was hard to talk Hisako into doing anything to help. When he was finished and asked how it looked she glanced into the mirror to look for herself. She'd never really thought of doing a loose ponytail. Well, any type of ponytail was hard for her to do with her horns, they just always seemed to be in the way. She smiled and then turned to look back at him. "It's nice. Thank you." She paused. "But now you're just like a girl, you helped me take even longer getting ready." She said with a chuckle. "I was ready to go once I finished brushing my hair." She pointed out. "Anyway, you're still wanting to go look around?"

Kyran agreed with Hikari for the most part. Nanashi didn't seem too adventurous, at least alone anyway. If LaRae wanted to go out somewhere he wouldn't be surprised to see Nanashi go with her just so she wasn't going alone. He also agreed with her saying that he was smart enough to know he shouldn't go outside without a pass. That certainly wouldn't end very well and out of everyone here Nanashi and himself would probably have the worst time dealing with the guards if they didn't have passes. He watched her when she got up from the bed and smiled a bit when she sat down on the couch beside him. He turned his eyes away while she took off the sandals she was wearing and sat there until she had scooted behind him. He started to lean his head back a little to look at her but stopped as soon as he felt her run her fingers through his hair. He smiled softly and relaxed a little. It really did feel nice when she did that. If she ran her fingers through his hair every so often he might actually work at keeping his hair brushed and free of knots. He sighed softly when he heard her ask about the knot. He lifted his hand up and reached for the back of his head to rub it gently. "It doesn't hurt that much anymore." He paused. "By the feel of it... it's almost gone." He said and then pulled his hand back down to rest in his lap.

Kanone smiled when she said that she liked it and then rolled his eyes slightly when she said that he was just like a girl. "Maybe I'm just nice and in touch with my feminine side." he said as he stuck out his tongue at her. He smiled slightly and sighed, "Just make sure you don't try to keep that one." he said with a slight laugh, "I'm sure if you looked you'd find several buried in here somewhere." he said with another laugh. He nodded slightly when she asked if he still wanted to go look around. "Sure. Heh.....no water this time... I think two baths are enough for one day." he said lightly, apparently counting his dunk in the ocean a 'bath.' As far as he was concerned any form of getting doused with water was bath enough for him. He didn't really care if he smelled pretty as long as he didn't smell like sweat. He half smiled and started back toward the door again, "Come on, slow poke, you look gorgeous." he said simply. He didn't really mind how long she took, he'd just decided to put her hair back for her since it seemed like she liked to wear it back occasionally but didn't just because it was such a hassle.

Hikari smiled slightly when he said that it didn't hurt as much and was almost gone. "Good..." she said quietly before she leaned down to kiss the top of his head. She sat there for a moment and then started to comb her fingers through his hair again lightly, just because she could tell that he enjoyed it. She ran her fingers through his hair just behind where his horns started and trailed her fingers all the way yo the back of his neck before starting over again. She did that about three times before she let her hands just slide all the way to this shoulders and started to massage around his neck. She was still in a bit of a cuddly mood now that she was dry again, though with all of his clothes wet she didn't want to go and snuggle all over him, so she figured petting him was the next best thing.

Aamori chuckled and shook her head lightly when he said maybe he was in touch with his feminine side. "Haha.. yeah.. right.. feminine side." She said and laughed quietly. "I think I'd be more inclined to believe you like touching a feminine side than you're in touch with your own." She told him. She smiled slightly when he said that she could probably find several of her own hair ties buried in here somewhere. Well, actually, she knew where her own where. They were in the smallest drawer of her vanity, she just rarely used them. She laughed a little when he said that he thought two baths was enough for one day. There had been days when she'd had to take at the very least three in one day, courtesy of Hisako's training. She'd give her a break and she'd think it was safe to bathe and come back to find out it was time to train some more. She watched as he started towards the door and started to follow after him. She paused briefly when he called her a slow poke and was going to say something in response to that but his saying that she looked gorgeous really threw her off. Of course she blushed and tilted her head down slightly before she started to walk again, trying not to make it that noticeable that she had stopped in the first place. That made the second time that he'd done that, said or did something to throw her response off. Although she wasn't so sure this time it was intentional.

Kyran smiled softly when she kissed the top of his head and then shut his eyes gently when she continued to run her hands through his hair. That really was quite relaxing. He cracked an eye open when he felt her hands slide down to his shoulders though he soon shut it again once she'd started massaging. "Mmm.." Having his shoulders massaged was pretty nice too now that he was thinking about it. He smiled a bit and his muscles started loosen up while he started to relax more. He couldn't help thinking that this would've been nice back in Radha after he had recovered, or even after being stiff from sleeping on the ground. Even still, he was quite enjoying it at the moment.

Kanone laughed at her comment about he liked to touch the feminine side more than he was in touch with his own. "Hmm...Well, I'll give you that one." he said with another laugh. He glanced back to her briefly once he'd gotten out of her room and saw the way that she was looking down and trying to hide her blush. He chuckled softly to himself and then continued on to the main doors. He pulled them open and waited until she'd gotten outside before he tagged along after her and closed the door behind him again. "Alrighty... So...now where to?" he asked with a slight smile. "You're the tour guide that I'm not so much lucking out on." he teased her again as he propped his elbow on her shoulder while he had waited for her to pick a direction.

Hikari smiled when she finally felt the stiffness leave Kyran's shoulders. After a few more minutes she stopped and just wrapped her arms around his shoulders while she leaned her face down against his hair and nuzzled him gently. She chuckled softly and raised one hand to continued stroking the side of his hair while she kept her other wrapped around his neck. "Heheh I'm going to put you to sleep in a few minutes."

Yotsy 12-10-2008 12:38 PM

Aamori followed after him as he walked to the main doors. She looked at him after he'd opened the door and smiled slightly. "No over dramatic motioning?" She asked with a chuckle as she stepped outside. She stood there and waited for him though when he teased her again she sighed heavily. A moment after he'd propped his elbow on her shoulder she shifted slightly, lowering her shoulder and stepping away from him. "...Well, there isn't too much else to see." She said after taking a couple steps away from and looking back at him. "Buuuutt... since you're not lucking out on this tour guide... I don't have to tell you where we're going." She said with a laugh as she started to walk off. She smiled a little while she was walking. "And... I guess that would also mean that I can be a bad tour guide and ditch you somewhere so that you have to try and find your way back all by yourself." She paused. "I think I may even know the perfect place to ditch you, now that I'm thinking about it." She said with a chuckle.

Kyran was quiet for a few minutes. He barely moved, pretty comfortable just where he was even if he was sitting on the floor. He smiled when she put her arms around his neck and then started to open his eyes a little when she commented about her putting him to sleep in a few minutes. "...Yes, I'm afraid you're right." He said quietly. He could be asleep in a matter of minutes if she continued with either of the two things she'd been doing.

Cyndel 12-10-2008 12:49 PM

Kanone lowered his arm when she moved away from him and then watched her as she started away. He blinked when she said that she didn't have to tell him where they were going and started walking off. He half smiled and shook his head slightly as he started after her. He blinked when she said that she could just ditch him and then pointed at her back. "See!? Bad tour guide!" he said as he pointed to her back and spoke as if he was scolding a dog for peeing on the rug. "Am I going to have to leash you?" he asked as he caught up with her. Without warning he grabbed onto her hair just below where he'd placed the ponytail holder and wrapped her hair around his hand once before he closed his fist around it tightly. "Hehehe good luck getting rid of me that easy. You know I'm not beyond walking around like this all day." he said in a lazy voice, "Though I bet everyone's going to look at you funny." he said with a slight smirk.

Hikari chuckled softly and then nuzzled her cheek against his head again. "...Well...that's alright." she said quietly as she continued to stroke his hair lightly. She didn't have anywhere to be since they couldn't leave without their passes and Kyran was still wet anyway. If he was just going to camp out int he floor he could at least be comfortable doing so. After a few moments she closed her eyes and started to hum soft lullaby tune.

Yotsy 12-10-2008 01:36 PM

Aamori hadn't planned to stop walking. She kept walking even when he called her a bad tour guide and didn't even bother looking back when he asked if he was going to have to leash her. However, she came to a rather abrupt stop once he'd gotten a good hold of her hair. She came rather close to falling down just because her feet had wanted to keep going without her. Her eyes watered and she winced from the pull she felt all the way to her scalp when she had to come to that stop. She stood there for a moment with her back to him still, almost like she was waiting to see if he was going to let go. She hoped he would, but figured he wouldn't and what he'd said only proved that he wasn't going to let go if the possibility that she would ditch him was still there. She couldn't honestly be that mean, to just leave him to get even more turned around and even if she did, she'd send someone out to find him... eventually. She finally turned so that she was standing sideways and stared at him. "And here I thought you said that putting my hair in a pony tail was going to make sure that it stayed nice." She paused. "You're only going to ruin your work if keep holding onto my hair like that." She said as she lifted her hands to wipe her eyes. She had a bit of a tender head so that had hurt a little. She let her arms drop back to her sides and she looked at him again. "And you know... everyone will only look at me funny until I start crying... then they're going to give you nasty looks for doing something to make a girl cry... and in public no less." She told him and then sighed quietly. "If you still plan to keep a hold of my hair like that then I'll have to remove you by force." She paused and smirked a little. "Though, I think that would be easier if I had my staff." She said and then chuckled quietly. She wasn't exactly upset that he had her hair like that, but she did want him to let it go and she'd try whatever she could to get him to release his grip.

Kyran shut his eyes again gently when she nuzzled against his head and told him that it was alright. He smiled softly and continued to sit there quietly. Though, once she started to hum it really didn't take very long for him to grow increasingly tired. After a few moments his head rolled back and he'd fallen asleep sitting there leaned against the couch.

Cyndel 12-10-2008 10:56 PM

Kanone smiled slightly when she said that he was going to ruin his work if he kept holding her hair like that. "Your hair is just fine." he said simply. He wasn't really doing anything that was going to mess it up, but was just holding onto it. His smile faded slightly when he saw her wipe her eyes and he sighed softly. He hadn't realized that grabbing her hair would hurt. After all, he had been walking with her when he did and he hadn't really pulled when he grabbed it, he just latched on and made sure he had a good hold. He rolled his eyes when she said that everyone would give him funny looks for making a girl cry. "Please don't tell me just touching your hair is enough to make you cry." He sighed and finally let her hair go, though he just started walking again. "You know, you girls have it pretty damn easy. Everyone always thinks the guy's a jerk, no one ever stops and wonders what the girl did to deserve it." he said simply, "Guess I'd better just get prepared to ask directions." He stuffed h is hands down in his pockets again and then looked back to her, "Well, princess, you coming or are you just going to ditch me at the front door?" he asked with a half smile."

Hikari smiled and raised her head when she felt Kyran's head roll back and then shifted her arm to cradle his head gently so that he wouldn't wake up with a stiff neck. Once she had him positioned more comfortably she leaned her head back down against his and closed her eyes again while she continued to comb her fingers through his hair.

Yotsy 12-11-2008 12:07 AM

Aamori stood there quiet for a moment after he released her hair. She hadn't cried yet, but her eyes had watered slightly from that. Even if all he did was grab her hair, the fact that he had wrapped her hair around his hand and closed it tightly in a fist. Believe it or not even doing that still put a pull on the hair to the scalp, so of course it was going to hurt. "...I have a tender head." She paused. "...Even using a comb on my hair when it's knotted badly can make my eyes water." She muttered quietly. She rolled her eyes at his comment about girls having it easy. Well, if she started crying it was going to be his fault. He teased her first, she joked about ditching him and he grabbed her hair because of that. She shook her head and decided not to even respond to that. If Kanone was anything at all like Celestine then saying something back could easily end up in an arguement. Then again, there had been several things that had been said between her and Kanone that probably would've warranted a negative response out of Celestine if she'd been talking to him instead. She sighed again when he asked if she was coming or if she was going to ditch him at the front door. She hadn't planned to ditch him anywhere in the first place. She started to walk finally, following after him though not bothering to pass him or even get beside him. "...Since it looks like we switched jobs ...where are we going Mr. Tour Guide?" She asked with a faint smile.
