LaRae hated to have to let Nanashi know it had been Renzo and she really didn’t like that it seemed to upset him, or at the very least irritate him judging by his expression. She didn’t condone anything that Renzo had done but at the same time she also didn’t do much about it. In her position there really was only so much she could do and just dealing with whatever he did was the easier way to go about things. She agreed wholeheartedly that there were other ways to go about waking someone up but obviously that didn’t matter to Renzo. She had no idea just how ‘out’ she was so maybe that was the best way to wake her up? She didn’t really know, she just hated that she had physical evidence on her face of being abused. God did she hate that word. Abused. Unfortunately that is exactly what Renzo was, abusive and there wasn’t anything that she could do about it. She sighed heavily after Nanashi had lowered his hand and proceeded to ask what Renzo had wanted. She brought her arms up to rest on the edge of the bed, crossing them over one another before lowering her head down onto them lightly. “…I don’t really remember all of what he said…” She admitted quietly. “I had just barely come around once he started running off at the mouth and before too much longer he’d run off.” She told him. “…I guess about that time is when Esen and the other dog showed up…” She didn’t quite recall a lot of the things that were said but she did remember when Renzo left and not too long after that Esen had showed up. She shut her eyes for a moment and thought a little more about it. She was quiet for a few moments before she cracked her eyes open again. “…I think he gave me another letter… or something… but I don’t want to check right now.” She mumbled quietly. “…I vaguely remember something being shoved in my pocket but that’s about it… anything he actually said... well.. it's kind of fuzzy right now...”

Nanashi watched silently as LaRae laid her head down on her arms and then sighed softly. He really wished that she didn't have to deal with Renzo, but of course there was nothing he could do about it. On top of being a nobody from an enemy clan he was a halfbreed, he had no say and Renzo could easily overpower him. If he could he would really love to put that guy in his place. There weren't many people that Nanashi ever really honest to god wanted to hit, but he wouldn't mind laying Renzo out one good time. He nodded slightly when she said that she didn't really remember what had been said and that he had run off soon after talking. He sighed again and moved his hand over to her arm before raising it to rest against the back of her head. "...Don't worry about it..." he said quietly as he ran his fingers along her hair once until his hand came to rest at her shoulder. He was of course very curious as to what he had wanted, but for now he didn't feel like pushing it and it was obvious that LaRae didn't want to think about it either. "...It doesn't really matter...right now." He rolled back onto his side again, this time facing her rather than the opposite side of the room. He absently moved his hand up to her head again and started stroking her hair gently, letting his fingers comb down through it before coming back to the top. He'd rather get up and just hug her but for right now he guessed this was about the best he could do.

LaRae sat there rather quietly after she had spoken and just tried to push the thoughts aside. She barely remembered what Renzo had been saying and she could most likely easily find out by checking her pockets for whatever had been stuffed inside but she really would rather not. She didn’t want to deal with that right not and she also didn’t want to be reading whatever it may be for the first time in front of Nanashi. She could only imagine what would be there and she’d hate to have to explain why she reacted whatever way she may react. There was a slight comfort in knowing Nanashi couldn’t read because that meant he’d never know what was written on these letters that she received unless she told him. At some point she had shut her eyes again and was just sitting there in silence though she did crack her eyes open a little when she felt him touch her arm and then the back of her head. She smiled almost weakly when he told her not to worry about it. That was easier said than done. She had only received one other letter if her memory served correctly and it hadn’t been pleasant so of course she was worrying, at least a little. She relaxed her smile considerably once he had run his fingers along her hair. “…Yeah…” She responded quietly to his saying that it didn’t really matter right now. She was glad it didn’t matter right now. Considering Nanashi had been hurt earlier she really didn’t want to deal with Renzo and his crap, she would much rather just focus on Nanashi. She shut her eyes again and kept the small smile on her face once he had started stroking her hair and running his fingers through it. That really was quite comforting in an odd little way and definitely relaxing. After a few minutes she finally opened her eyes again and then started to sit up from the bed. She sat up and shifted a little so that she was kneeling rather than on her knees resting against her feet and then leaned over the bed so that she could reach his face. She smiled a little and lowered her head enough to kiss him lightly on the cheek. “…Sorry to trouble you with that…” She mumbled quietly as she pulled her head back a little.

Reyes finished up with as much of the second plate of food as he possibly could. He had been quite hungry so he did manage to almost finish the plate intended for Nero. He glanced over to Nero briefly after he had finished and sighed softly before setting both of the plates together with the forks and then getting to his feet. Nero didn’t look like he was going anywhere. Not only did he look ready to call it a day but he had a cat most likely asleep in his lap. He didn’t particularly want to go into the woman’s house but she had said that they could and he did want to return her plates rather than leave them outside all night. Once he was on his feet he dusted himself off a little and adjusted his dress before kneeling down to grab the dishes. She cast one more glance to Nero before heading around the corner of the house to the back porch. He didn’t focus too much on anything more than reaching the door and getting inside so he was a little oblivious to anything else outside at the moment. He sighed quietly when he reached the door and opened it slowly and cautiously almost like it was going to slam in his face at any given moment. He was usually pretty perky and easy going but in this instance it was a little hard to be outgoing or anything of the sort. He’d never really been around light dragons, let alone one’s house and it did bother him that this woman lived alone in the middle of nowhere. He’d be far more comfortable in a highly populated area even if it was populated by nothing but light dragons. At least then it wasn’t like they would go unnoticed. Honestly… if anything happened to him or Nero here in the middle of nowhere, no one would know they were here but the people Nero had been traveling with and he had only just joined up with them so he wasn’t quite as trusting as he would have liked to have been. He just barely opened the door enough for him to slip in along with the dishes and didn’t dare close it behind him. He wanted an easy way out and shutting the door just seemed like it’d make things harder to get out. What was he going to do if the door like… locked itself when he shut it? He’d fumble with that like there was no tomorrow and only put himself into a panic. He didn’t even bother looking at the table to see who was sitting there. He focused solely on the sink and was making a b-line for it so he could drop the dishes inside and then turn right around and scurry out of the room.

Cyndel 09-17-2009 04:28 AM

Nanashi continued to stroke LaRae's hair gently so long as she kept her head down there. He really did feel bad for her, and he felt even worse for being just one more thing she had to worry about. Once she started to raise her head he lowered his hand back to the bed again and watched her as she started to sit up again. He half thought she was about ready to get out of the floor, but once she leaned close to him and kissed his cheek he smiled weakly. Of course that was enough to make him smile a little, even if he wasn't in much of a smiling mood. "...I asked...," he said softly when she apologized and his smile faded slowly. "...It's no trouble to me...I want to know what is going on or when something if bother you what it is..." After a moment he sighed quietly. "...I'm just sorry I keep adding to things..." He lowered his eyes down to the bed and then closed them for a moment. He wished he would stop getting hurt so she would stop having to come stand over him next to a bed in order to talk to him. No one had any idea how much it bothered him for people to have to do that because he knew it wasn't very pleasant. Not to mention it wasn't helping much that he wasn't in too much of a talking mood. He didn't really want to be alone, but he also wasn't in the mood to have to come up with things to talk about. He was at that point where he wanted to talk about what had happened earlier, but at the same time he didn't want to tell anyone about it. He knew he wanted to be told it was alright, but no matter how hard anyone tried to tell him that, he also knew he'd never accept it. Then there was also the chance that no one would tell him what he wanted to hear, so it was safer not to talk about it. Personally, it was easier to hear about LaRae's problems than think about his own at the moment. He could probably make himself sick pretty easily thinking about it too much, which was why he wasn't too keep on the idea of being alone in the room in the first place. Right now it was just hard for him to decide what he wanted. In his mind, if someone was there to see him, he was meant to talk to them. Hopefully it would just help to keep him from freaking out too badly again if he had someone with him, or at least that was what he was hoping for.

Hikari had already finished her food and taken her plate to the sink, but she was still sitting at the table. Kamaria was still in the process of eating her food as she was normally a pretty slow eater. It didn't take her long to notice the door opening and Reyes scurry in with the plates Kamaria had taken outside earlier. She tilted her head slightly as she watched her move over toward the sink. She was half amused at the say that she seemed so worried, and just shook her head a little whens he noticed that she had left the door open. She was tempted to say something about it, but it almost looked like if anyone spoke Reyes might just jump out of her skin and she really didn't want to be the cause of her busting Kamaria's dishes, so she just kept quiet. She side glanced to Kamaria for a moment, but Kamaria just continued eating her dinner without even acknowledging that anyone had entered the room. Her back was to the door, but she seemed to be just ignoring that it had opened.

Kanone had sat there with Celestine while he ate, and made sure he ate as much as he could. Surprisingly, Celestine cleaned the plate, though he had a feeling that was mostly just so that he wouldn't say anything to him. That was a lot more than Celestine usually ate in one sitting normally. Either way, Kanone didn't complain about him finishing his dinner. As soon as he was done, though, he practically shoved the plate at him and then laid back down on his side facing away from him without a word. He sighed and reached down to rub Celestine's arm gently for a moment. He didn't bother to say anything to him either, but he was at least letting him know he was satisfied with what he had eaten. He kind of gathered already that Celestine didn't really want anything to do with him now, so he just took the plate and started for the door. It didn't take him long to notice Reyes slipping into the house, and since she'd left the door open, he just started in that direction so he could put his dish up as well. Of course it didn't take him long to reach the door, and he just pushed it open a little more before starting inside.

LaRae looked at Nanashi for a few moments after he had said that he asked and that it was no trouble to him. She smiled a little hearing him add that he would want to know what was going on or when something was bothering her. That made her feel a little better but she still felt a little bad for bringing up her issues when he had been hurt and was obviously still trying to recover. He didn’t need to deal with the stuff going on with her right now, or at least that is the way she felt. She stared at him when she heard him say that he was sorry that he kept adding to the things. She continued to stare at him for a moment before shaking her head. Well… they were a sorry bunch. They were both apologizing to one another and taking turns doing so. That really was kind of sad. “…You aren’t really adding to anything…” She commented quietly. She continued to sit there for a few moments before lowering back down onto her feet and leaning against the bed again like she had been before. She set her arms against the bed once again though she left one stretched out a little towards him before laying her head down. She wasn’t really sure what else to talk about so she was just sitting there quietly which she wasn’t really opposed to doing. She hadn’t been with him much since earlier this morning before everything happened so she wasn’t really in a hurry to leave the room though she would of course if he asked her to.

Reyes did a decent job of ignoring everyone who was in the kitchen on his way to the sink. Once he reached his destination he set the dishes in the sink. He stared at them for a moment, thinking very briefly that maybe he should wash them but he didn’t really want to stay in the house any longer then needed. He was, unfortunately, uncomfortable being in here. He turned away from the sink and was going to head for the door but gave a quick scan of the room. He of course spotted the Princess and Kyran then the older woman. All of which seemed to be done eating except the woman. He was prepared to head out of the room but paused in mid step when he saw Kanone had apparently come inside not long after him. He almost instantly turned right back around and started to turn the water on at the sink. If he couldn’t get out right this second he may as well do something to distract him while he waited for a clean escape route. He really would have been more comfortable if Nero had followed him inside but he didn’t and he felt rather defenseless at the moment because Shen wasn’t with him. Since it was dark out there really wasn’t much of a shadow for Shen to hide in and that left Reyes a little defenseless and uncomfortable. That may have been another reason why he was so uncomfortable entering the house, he was literally entering all by himself. Shen had left him sometime earlier before night really fell. He had made an easy get away and had found a place in the surrounding forest to rest. He had positioned himself close enough that he could get to Reyes if he needed and he could keep an eye on him but he had decided to stay out of sight rather than be where everyone could see him in plain sight. Reyes could really be like a different person without the protection of Shen or someone he knew really well which was kind of pathetic in his eyes but he couldn’t really help it. At any rate, he really hoped that he could finish up cleaning the dishes and make his exit quick enough.

Nanashi just sighed softly when LaRae said that he wasn't really adding to anything. Well, that was good, he guessed...if it was true. He cracked his eyes opened again to look at her for a moment before he shifted positions a little and curled up just a tiny bit on the bed. He watched as she went back to her previous position and then sighed softly when she put her head down again. Slowly, he moved his arm mover until he could brush the back of his fingers over the arm that was stretched out toward him. He didn't say anything for a long moment, but he did think that the way she was laying didn't look like it could possibly be very comfortable. "...Hey..." he started quietly, "...you...don't have to stay here... I'll be alright..." Of course he didn't mind her company, but he would rather she was comfortable somewhere than kneeling in the floor beside the bed like that. He offered her a ghost of a smile as he brushed his knuckles against her arm again and then closed his eyes. "...I may fall asleep on you anyway...," he added softly.

Kanone raised an eyebrow after he entered the kitchen and noticed Reyes looking around before turning on the water like she was about ready to wash the dishes. He kind of noticed how nervous she looked, but he guessed he couldn't really blame her...though he doubted he really would be if it was him. He just wasn't a very nervous person by nature, so when it came to being around 'enemy' dragons, he really wasn't all that affected by it. He just made his way over to the sink and smiled at her as he sat the plate he had in the sink as well. "While you're at it, I guess," he said with a soft chuckle. He placed a hand on top of her head for a moment and patted it lightly, for once not rubbing around to the point he'd screw up her hair. He leaned down a little so that he was just a little closer to her ear and then offered her a warm smile. "...Calm down, okay?" he started in a quiet voice, clearly meant only for her ears, "You look like a scared rabbit.... You're fine, I promise." With that he straightened up again and lowered his hand from her head to her shoulder giving it a little rub before lowering his hand back to his side.

Yotsy 09-18-2009 09:52 PM

LaRae barely moved at all from where she was leaning against the bed and just kept silent while she was sitting there. Even if there wasn’t anything to talk about it was still nice to stay by his side regardless. She lifted her head very slightly to look at him a little better when he started to speak. She listened to him and then sighed softly and started to lay her head back down where it had been. She knew she didn’t have to stay here, but she kind of wanted to and she didn’t mind sitting on the floor like she was. She smiled very slightly after he had said that he may fall asleep on her. She didn’t mind that at all. “…I don’t mind if you fall asleep.” She started. “Do you want me to leave?” She asked quietly. “I will if you want me to… but otherwise I think I would like to stay, if you don’t mind.”

Reyes had shifted his focus to the water he had turned on in the sink and was going to start washing the dishes though he jumped very slightly when he saw the other plate being set in the sink. He didn’t mean to jump but he couldn’t help it. He looked up at Kanone briefly and felt a little relief since it was just him. He nodded his head a little after hearing him say ‘while you’re at it’. He didn’t mind the extra work especially since it wasn’t much to begin with. He lifted his eyes slightly and tried to look up at his head when he felt the hand on top but stopped and started to look back down at the sink. He sighed almost heavily when he heard Kanone tell him to calm down. He hadn’t really thought it was that noticeable how uncomfortable and nervous he was but apparently he was wrong if Kanone had noticed. His ears laid back momentarily at the ‘scared rabbit’ reference. That was pretty sad to think he reminded him of a scared rabbit. He couldn’t really say he felt a whole lot safer after Kanone said that he was fine and he promised that. He barely knew Kanone but he did talk to him and Celestine a little more than anyone else today. He tried to relax his shoulders a bit and started to wash the dishes in the sink. “…Is it really that noticeable…?” He asked rather quietly, practically whispering. It was really kind of embarrassing that he, a dark dragon, was nervous like this and of light dragons no less.

Cyndel 09-19-2009 06:36 AM

Nanashi sighed softly and nodded his head a little whens he said that she didn't mind if he fell asleep. Well, that was good at least since he really couldn't promise that he wouldn't. He cracked his eyes open again when she asked if she wanted her to leave. "No!" he blurted quickly, sounding a little guilty. "...I...I wasn't trying to run you off...you just...that doesn't look very comfortable..." he explained quietly. He reached down to her hand and curled his fingers loosely over her hand so that she could easily take it back at any time. "...I don't mind...," he added softly as he closed his eyes again. He was at least glad that she wanted to stay with him even if he wasn't in much of a mood to try to keep anyone entertained. He still felt a little bad for just laying there doing nothing, but if she didn't mind he guessed it was all right.

Kanone smiled slightly when Reyes jumped when he saw the dish and then shook his head a little. He sighed softly and then shook his head a little when Reyes lowered her ears and rust rubbed her shoulder a bit when she asked if it was really that noticeable. "...Well...kind of," he said softly, keeping his voice low as well. "...I mean...you jumped at the sight of a plate," he pointed out with a soft chuckle. "...Look, don't worry... Hikari's a really nice person, she would sooner heal you if you fell and scraped your knee than hurt you, and I'm sure she wouldn't let anyone else hurt you either. You should see her annoying your cousin to death when he gets hurt.. she'll practically hold him down and heal him if she has to." He patted her shoulder again gently and sighed, "Don't worry....I wouldn't let anyone bother you either. I don't care where you're from, and I'm pretty sure no one else here does either. This isn't a very judgmental bunch...so there's no need to be so nervous right now." He smiled again and pulled his arm back to cross over his chest with his other one, "So...want some help?"

Kamaria finally finished with her dinner and glanced over toward the sink when she noticed the young dark dragon still hovering there. She had of course noted who had entered, but considering how skittish the girl looked she didn't want to do anything to startle her. Now that she was done however, and all of the other dishes were in the sink she finally started to get up and move over in that direction with her dishes slowly, not that she moved very fast on a normal basis to begin with. She slowed a little as she neared the sink and then edged around Reyes to set the dishes on the counter. "...I can get those, dear, if you'd rather be doing something else," she told her in her usual gentle tone. She didn't mind doing her own dishes, and she could tell the girl was pretty uncomfortable being in here, it really wasn't that hard to tell.

Yotsy 09-19-2009 07:46 AM

LaRae lifted her head almost instantly when she heard him blurt out ‘No’ after she had asked if he wanted her to leave. She couldn’t help but smile a little after he explained. She laid her head back down after that but still held her smile for a little while longer, especially after he had curled his fingers over her hand. “I’m alright. I’ll move if it gets to be unbearable.” She responded quietly. She didn’t really mind the way she was sitting. It wasn’t bothering her at the moment though she did suspect that it would probably get to her eventually and when that happened she would most likely move as she said she would. When that time came she didn’t plan to move very far. If anything it’d mostly be to get her legs out from under her and stretch out a little. She smiled a little once again after he had said that he didn’t mind. She was glad. She really didn’t want to have to leave the room so soon. She continued to look at him as best as she could with her head resting against her arms, at least until a few moments after he had shut his eyes. Once he had done that she started to shut her eyes as well and just sit there in silence.

Reyes couldn’t help felling utterly embarrassed after Kanone had pointed out that he had just jumped at the sight of a plate. That was really pretty pathetic. He listened quietly while Kanone spoke. He didn’t know Hikari that well so he couldn’t say for sure that what Kanone was saying was the truth or not but at the same time he didn’t really have any reason to doubt what he was saying. He smiled very faintly when Kanone started mentioning Hikari when it came to healing Nero after he had been hurt. Somehow that wasn’t the least bit surprising and it kind of amused him. He glanced back over at Kanone briefly, having barely done a thing with the dishes he was supposed to be cleaning. All he had really done was run the water over the plates and lazily run his hand over the one on top. He tried to smile a little more genuinely after hearing Kanone say that he wouldn’t let anyone bother him either. That was kind of nice to hear, he just hoped it was true. He couldn’t say for sure, like with most of what he had said if this group really wasn’t judgmental. He hoped they weren’t and maybe they really weren’t. Though he wouldn’t have been surprised to hear that Nero had scared them all enough to accept him or at least pretend to accept him. That really wouldn’t be a surprise and to begin with he thought it was a little weird that Nero seemed to be treated alright by the others, honestly he expected his cousins treatment to be a lot worse. He turned his eyes down to the sink when he heard him ask if he wanted help. He hadn’t gotten very far with the dishes and to be honest… he wasn’t much of a dish washer. He could dirty any dish just fine but cleaning was another story though… it clearly didn’t seem that hard to do. He just kind of stared at the dishes in the sink for a few moments; at least until he heard the older woman so close and say that she could get the dishes. He hadn’t been paying attention to her and absently jumped slightly when he heard her so close. He glanced to her very briefly before nodded his head slightly. “…O-okay…” He responded quietly before taking a step back and moving away from the sink. He wasn’t going to clean the dishes if he didn’t have to and he really felt like getting out of the house now that more attention had been drawn to him. He bowed his head very slightly and then turned tail for the door so that he could get out to the porch at the very least. Regardless of what Kanone had said if he could be out of the confined space with two light dragons in it then he was going to try and get out.

Cyndel 09-19-2009 08:52 AM

Nanashi smiled weakly when LaRae said that she would move if it got to be unbearable. "...Alright...," he answered quietly as he tried his best to relax. Once his eyes were closed again it didn't take very long before he was dozing off. It was a little easier to do now that he had LaRae with him. Of course he still probably wouldn't be too difficult to wake up, even if he was this tired, but one would probably have to really be trying to wake him before he would open his eyes.

Kamaria blinked when Reyes jumped after she spoke and just looked at her with an expression that looked either confused or startled, though it was probably hard to judge which one. After the girl had said 'okay,' and backed away the way that she did she just shook her head and sighed softly before moving to take her place at the sink and start on washing the dishes. She put her own into the sink as well and then glanced over to Kanone and offered him a slight smile."You can go, too, I believe I can manage," she told him simply, "Sorry for scaring off your little friend." She wasn't really trying to frighten the girl, she just wanted to go ahead and get everything cleaned up. It was starting to get rather late, and she still needed to figure out where she was going to put everyone tonight.

Kanone just watched silently as Reyes practically dropped everything and scurried out of the house again. He just sighed and shook his head. Apparently, nothing he'd said sunk in past her hair. Oh well...he couldn't do much about it. He glanced back to Kamaria whens he spoke to him and then laughed softly, "Oh, okay... Eh, don't worry about it...think she's just a little skittish." He started to back up himself to give her some more room and then walked back toward the table again and sighed before glancing around. Well...outside with Reyes and a crabby Celestine, or inside with Aamori, Hikari, and Kyran. For now, he decided to just head toward the living room. He'd had about all of Celestine he could stand for a night.

Yotsy 09-19-2009 11:15 PM

LaRae nestled her head into her arm while she sat there. Now that she was getting a chance to relax like this after having eaten she was realizing that she was still a bit tired, possibly even still fatigued. She probably should have taken it a little easier after having recovered from the immediate side effects of the sedative. Now that she was thinking about it, it did seem ludicrous to think that she could be completely herself after sleeping it off earlier. She was fairly certain that she could fall asleep easily right here like this and she didn’t really mind it though she would probably be sore later… that is if she didn’t wind up on the floor later.

Reyes was a bit thankful that he made it to the door without anyone stopping him. He almost expected Kanone to say something to him or try to keep him in the house and was really kind of glad that there was nothing. He may have tried to sit still in the house if Kanone was going to stay around him but he would much rather be outside with Nero and somewhere nearer to Shen. He glanced around a little from where he was standing on the porch, mostly to see who all was out here. He of course spotted Celestine but didn’t bother going over there. He figured that he was probably trying to sleep or something since it was getting later. He sighed quietly and started to head off of the porch and around the side of the house. He wasn’t that surprised to see that Nero appeared to already be asleep. He was still sitting where he was with Kyiri in his lap but he had shifted his head a little. It was resting against his chest now rather than back against the house. He just smiled a little and started closer to him. He sat down beside him and worked himself closer so that he was practically glued to his cousin and then leaned his head against his shoulder. He really did feel more comfortable out here and around Nero so he doubted it would take too long for him fall asleep.

Aamori had finished eating not too long after LaRae had gone upstairs to visit with Nanashi. She just hadn’t felt like getting up to do something with her dishes yet. She did finally decide that she needed to take them into the kitchen at least and not leave them on the coffee table the whole night. She sighed softly and picked up the plate and fork together before noticing the glass on the table as well. She assumed that must have been LaRae’s from earlier. She went ahead and grabbed that as well and started for the kitchen. She was at least watching where she was going so that she didn’t wind up walking into Kanone since he appeared to be headed for the living room. Once she got clear of him she hurried over towards the sink and set the dishes down on the counter since Kamaria was taking care of everything. She didn’t utter a word, just smiled a little before turning and heading back towards the living room.

Cyndel 09-20-2009 04:12 AM

Celestine had already pretty much caved for the night. He still wasn't feeling well, and eating as much as he had to quickly to get Kanone out of his hair had pretty much only upset his stomach, though he had a feeling it would have anyway no matter how slowly he ate it. He was already near sleep again, though he was still curled up close beside Nobu. Esen had come back to him and laid down against his back kind of sandwiching them in, not that he couldn't get up, but he wasn't going to be able to roll over much. He didn't really mind, he was pretty contend sleeping right here like this.

Kanaone glanced at Aamori and smiled slightly at her as she passed him before he made his way over the the couch and sank down on the cushion with a sigh. He ran his fingers back through his bangs and then just leaned his head back and closed his eyes. He was still feeling a bit sluggish himself, but he thought he'd probably be over it by tomorrow. He still couldn't half believe everything that had happened earlier today. Honestly, if it hadn't been for the others fighting to defend their asses, he, LaRae, and Celestine would all be grass by now. That or locked in cages somewhere, though of the three of them Celestine was the most likely candidate for that considering that he was still at the age they would consider 'trainable'. Though knowing him, he'd be killed before he'd be trained. Honestly he was about ready to just crash right here for the night, it was comfortably enough for his tastes.

Kamaria glanced over to Aamori and smiled slightly when she set down the dishes. "Thank you, dear," she said simply as she set them into the sink to be washed as well. She resumed what she was doing before glancing over to Senelity and Kyran. "Selen, you can help your friends find a place to sleep for the night, if you want...you know where the blankets are, don't you?" she asked simply.

Hikari glanced up from the table when she heard her nick name and then smiled slightly. "Yes, I do. I'll get on that." She stood up and stretched a little, "...I have a feeling Nero and Reyes are probably going to stay planted where they are... Would you care if I took one outside form them?" she asked simply. She smiled when Kamaria shook her head in response and then nodded. "Thanks," she added before she glanced to Kyran and smiled. "Well, you want to come give me a hand?" she asked lightly.

Aamori merely nodded her head lightly after hearing Kamaria tell her thank you and continued back towards the living room. She spotted Kanone sitting on the couch and started to head over there herself. She moved towards the opposite end of the couch from him before sitting down. She looked over at him momentarily and almost didn’t bother opening her mouth since he looked kind of tired but she did want to know one thing at least. “…Did you have to force feed him?” She asked quietly. She assumed that Kanone had succeeded in getting Celestine to eat, though she could been mistaken. Honestly, she hoped that Celestine had at least eaten a little and she really hoped that he was over his crabby attitude tomorrow. She really did like hanging around him but it was really hard to do when he was as grumpy as he had been earlier. She supposed that if his attitude didn’t improve she could just hang around Kanone for awhile. At least that would be fun rather than a mess of cranky that only made her want to pull her hair out.

Kyran lifted his eyes slightly when Kamaria spoke to Hikari and just kind of listened in. There were so many names for her it wasn’t even funny. Hikari, Selenity, Selen, Princess… the list just kind of went on and on. He sighed softly and shook his head slightly before looking to Hikari since she had asked him if he wanted to give her a hand. He nodded his head slightly. “Sure.” He responded and started to get up from the table. Once he was standing he took a moment to stretch his arms and his back and unfortunately didn’t escape without a couple cracks and pops here and there. He was just about ready to call it a night himself. He really needed to rest some since they had such an unexpected busy day and he had exerted himself a bit more than his muscles would have liked. After he was finished stretching he looked back to Hikari and smiled slightly. “Just lead the way.”

Cyndel 09-20-2009 09:57 AM

Kanone cracked his eyes open when Aamori sat down, but closed them again shortly afterward. He didn't plan to say anything if she didn't, though he wasn't surprised when she finally spoke. He cracked open his eyes and looked over to her for a moment before he half smiled and raised his head. "Nah...He started scarfing it down when I threatened to and cleared the whole plate..." He shook his head a little. "...Just hope he didn't make himself sick trying to get rid of me..." he said with a soft sigh as he leaned his head back again. He had said he'd believe he couldn't eat it when he puked, but he really didn't want him to go getting sick. Then again, he didn't really want him sleeping outside either, but he knew it would be a huge fight trying to pull him away from Nobu tonight, so he didn't see that it was worth it. If anything he guessed he could go sleep on the porch for all the good that would do.

Hikari smiled slightly when Kyran agreed to give her a hand. She wasn't entirely sure she even really needed it, but she felt kind of bad wandering off and leaving him sitting there. Of course she wasn't going to make him come, but she thought it would at least give him something to do...and help get the blankets distributed faster. Her head tilted a little when she heard his bones cracking, but she didn't say anything. She was going to be glad to finally give him time to relax and rest, though unfortunately she couldn't promise him a comfortable location to do so. She was expecting to curl up in the floor herself since she wasn't about to take Kamaria's bed even if she did offer, which knowing her she probably would before the night was out. She started back toward the living room and then up the stairs to the second floor. She went into the first door on the right of the right of the hallway, which was obviously Kamaria's room as it had more personal possessions in it than the one Nanashi was in. Just inside the door was a rather large closet, which she slid open upon entering the room. Inside was a line of clothes, mostly gowns similar to the one she was wearing today, though there were a couple of outfits that were stained and had pants to them, and there was one off to itself on the opposite side of the closet that appeared to be a bit more fancy. Like most things in the closet it was white, but made with crushed velvet with long bell sleeves that had to be pinned to the hanger as they apparently came off the shoulders. There was a gold chain belt with blue gems of varying sizes hanging over the hanger as well, though only a small section of it was visible. Hikari payed no mind to the clothes and went straight for the shelf above them where there were several blankets and quilts folded and stacked neatly. She bypassed the quilts and snagged the blankets down from the stack. They were in varying colors from white, to pastel blue, pink, and purple, and there were at least six from what she could tell; two white, two blue, and one each of pink and purple. She nearly dropped them all on her head as she pulled the stack down but managed to stagger back and catch them. She sighed heavily before smiling at Kyran. "Here, you can help me hand them out," she said lightly.

Yotsy 09-20-2009 11:47 PM

Aamori was at the very least happy to hear that Celestine had eaten though she wasn’t so sure eating the whole plate was really good for him. So long as he didn’t throw it up she guessed it was fine. She smiled rather weakly and looked away. “…Thank you …for pestering him about it…” She said quietly. “…I would have but after today…” She paused. “…Well, I didn’t have it in me to deal with his attitude.” She added quietly. A lot had gone on today and she really wasn’t prepared to deal with his attitude. Had it been a normal day without any hunters involved she wouldn’t have had a problem pestering him to death about eating. She sighed almost heavily as she continued to look away. “…Today kind of …well …it reminded me of what I told you about that one day…” She said rather vaguely. Seeing those hunters today really had brought on the uncomfortable memories of the day she and Celestine had killed those hunters, be it intentional or not. She really did wish that she could just forget that completely and act as if it never happened but unfortunately it was proving itself an inescapable memory.

Kyran really didn’t mind helping Hikari with this task. He had nothing better to do and the sooner she was finished the sooner they could call it a night. He waited until she started to head wherever she was going. He had no idea where the blankets were kept so of course he was going to follow her. He headed up the stairs behind her silently and when she got the room that she went into he paused at the door; mostly because he didn’t really want to enter Kamaria’s room without permission. But then again she had known that he was going to help Hikari so maybe she didn’t mind if he was in the room for a few moments. He still debated on actually going into the room while Hikari messed with the closet. It wasn’t until the blankets looked like they’d fall on her head that he actually stepped into the room. He was taller; he probably could have gotten those down a little easier. He sighed softly seeing that she managed to catch them. Blankets weren’t really that lethal when they fell on you so he felt a little silly for being too worried about it. He smiled slightly after she had said he could help hand them out. He stepped closer to her and took some of the blankets off the top of the stack she had. “Who do you want me to give them to?” He asked. He figured he’d be giving his stack to some and she’d get the others but he figured he should know who she was giving hers to and who he was giving his to as to not miss someone.

Kanone shrugged a little when Aamori thanked him for pestering Celestine. "...Eh, don't mention it. It's nothing really new," he said with a half smile, "I'm pretty much immune to his attitude." He raised his head slowly after she said that today had reminded her of what she had told him about that one day. Frankly, that didn't tell him a whole lot, so he just stared at her with an uncomprehending look on his face for a minute as he tried to remember what she had told him...and when. It took him a few seconds, but he finally pieced together that she must have meant the thing about he hunters. He sighed softly and scooted down the couch so that he was sitting beside her and then reached around her to put his arm around her shoulders. "Hey...don't worry about that," he whispered softly as he looked over to her, "...You were both only trying to protect yourselves... You weren't out for blood or fun like they were. You did no less than they would have done to you, and likely a lot more...humanely..." He sighed softly and shuttered a little. He couldn't help seeing what they had done to his mother again. There hadn't been much left of her. most of her insides had been removed, her horn cut off, her scales stripped.... He shook his head violently and then shut his eyes tightly. "...You were lucky..." he whispered quietly. He pulled her a little closer and just sighed. "...Look...I know...believe me, I know..." he whispered softly, "...It's...hard not to think about stuff... Just try not to let it eat at you..."

Hikari smiled slightly when Kyran came in to try to save her from the avalanche of blankets and took his share. "Erm..." she started when he asked who she wanted him to give them to. "...Well...whoever needs one? I don't really know... I was going to take one or two outside for Nero and Reyes... I have a feeling they're not going to come in tonight..." She sighed softly, "Um...I guess you can just hand them off to Kanone and Aamori? I'll go ahead and go outside... unless you'd like to take outside." She didn't know if Kyran would want to take the chance to check on Nobu or not, but she didn't mind either way. "...Just don't forget to keep one for yourself," she added with a slight smile.

Yotsy 09-22-2009 09:17 PM

Aamori kind of wished that she could say the same when it came to Celestine’s attitude; she’d love to be immune to it. She was better at dealing with it some days and others she wasn’t. It was kind of a pain but then again being immune to it is probably what you should expect from someone who’s pretty much grown up with Celestine, minus the few years he was away. She continued to sit there relatively quietly after he had spoken. She wasn’t really sure she expected him to grasp what she had been referring to about that one time they talked and she wasn’t so sure she really felt like having that all brought up if he did catch on. She finally turned her head a little to look over at him when he started to scoot down the couch closer to her and then put his arm around her shoulders. Before he even said a word she had guessed by just that action that he had understood what she had been referring to. She sighed very quietly when he said don’t worry about that. She wasn’t exactly worrying about that like she had been in the past. She had kind of accepted it and just went on with her life but the memory kept rearing its ugly head every so often; mostly when it came to blood on her hands or in this case… being attacked by hunters. She listened quietly while he spoke and nodded her head weakly after he said about more humanely. She wasn’t so sure she would call scorching a guy with a geyser of water… humane …nor would she consider slicing open a man so that his insides spilled out. Neither one of those things even sounded remotely humane and the worst part about what she had done, in her eyes was the fact that she hadn’t meant to. It just happened and then the guy was dead. That was terrible, thinking you could kill someone so easily without even meaning to, or really even thinking about it. She listened to him again and tried to ignore his shutter and violent head shake. She had guessed that maybe some images or something resurfaced that he most likely didn’t care to remember himself. Lucky. Yeah… she guessed she was. Had Celestine not shown up when he did she probably wouldn’t be around right now. There would’ve been no way that she survived after killing the man she did and there was no way she would have been able to take down the other two by herself, especially while caught under a weighted net. She leaned against him once he had pulled her a little closer and then sighed softly. “…I’m sorry …for bringing it up…” She mumbled quietly. She could only imagine that having brought up what she had, had made him think of his mother and she didn’t mean for that to happen. “…I don’t think about it often…” She said quietly. “…or as often as I used to…” She paused. “…It just kind of pops into my head with certain triggers…”

Kyran nodded his head slightly after Hikari had said that she was going to take one or two out to Nero and Reyes. He didn’t mind one way or the other who he gave blankets to and right now, checking on Nobu… well… that wasn’t really on his mind or at least not the forefront of his mind. It was getting late and it was time to call it a night, it would be better to check on him in the morning after everyone had gotten some sleep. He smiled slightly and started to turn back towards the bedroom door. “…You go ahead and take care of Nero and Reyes and I will see to Kanone and Aamori.” He said and then slipped out into the hall. He glanced down at the blankets briefly when she reminded him to keep one for himself. He hadn’t really thought about keeping one for himself unless there was extra. He’d much rather make sure that everyone else had blankets before he took one for himself. He already figured two of the ones he had were going to Kanone and Aamori. Then Nero and Reyes were getting some of Hikari’s. That left… Celestine and LaRae. He wasn’t sure Celestine would need one, the kid almost always slept outside and if he was sleeping on the ground then he likely had a number of furry masses sleeping around him. LaRae on the other hand he wasn’t sure. But he guessed she might be alright considering she was in the room with Nanashi. He finally started to head down the stairs, going ahead and going first just in case the stairs became difficult to maneuver with blankets in your hands. Once he reached the bottom of the stairs he stepped off to the side and waited for Hikari to reach the bottom.

Kanone sighed against softly when Aamori leaned against him and opened his eyes slightly to look down at her. He just rubbed her arm absently when she apologized for bringing it up. "...It's alright," he said quietly. He knew that she hadn't been trying to make him think of what had happened to his mother...it happened to a lot of people, and had very nearly happened to her. Of course she would want to talk about it occasionally. He nodded a little when she said that she didn't think about it as much as she used to. Well, that was a start at least. "...I know," he said again quietly when she said that it just popped into her head with certain triggers. He could definitely understand that...considering he got a nice vivid image every time he even thought about his mother anymore. He had a hard time even picturing her face without it being followed by a picture of...what had been left of her face. He shuddered again absently, realizing that he'd let his mind wander back again. He just wrapped his other arm around Aamori as well for a moment. He was glad that hadn't happened to her...at least he'd gotten the chance to meet her...and that meant that Celestine wouldn't have had to go through this twice. He could just imagine what that would have done to the poor kid's mind, especially since it was rather clear that he was find of Aamori, even if he didn't seem to want to admit it. He glanced over to the stairs briefly when he heard someone coming down, but then glanced away before he really got to see who it was. He just laid his head on top of Aamori's and closed hie eyes again, trying to keep his face as out of view as possible. He didn't know how he looked, but considering the way he felt, he could just imagine he looked pretty depressed again.

Hikari nodded her head slightly when Kyran said that she could go ahead and take care of Reyes and Nero, "Alright." She followed him out of the room since he was kind of interfering with her getting out anyway. She didn't bother to say anything more as she followed him back downstairs and then gave him a slight smile as she passed him. "Well, be right back," she said lightly. She took her three blankets toward the kitchen and then fumbled for a moment ass he tried to open the back door. Once she got it open she slipped outside and pulled it closed behind her. She glanced over to Celestine for a moment and smiled slightly. She didn't think he really needed a blanket considering that he seemed to be wedged snugly between Nobu and Esen. Plus she didn't know how Kamaria would like having her blankets down with the dogs... She started around the house and smiled slightly when she spotted Reyes snuggled up against Nero's side. She shook her head and went back long enough to set one of the blankets in the rocking chair on the porch before picking out the darkest colored blanket that she had on her, which...was either one of the blue ones or a purple one, in the lack of light it was a little hard to tell, and starting to unfold it. Since Reyes was snuggled so close to Nero, she was pretty sure one would be good enough for them, but she was taking the other with her just in case. Once she reached the two of them she smiled a little as she draped the blanket over them carefully. It did go over both of them easily and she tried to tuck it behind Reyes's shoulder and Nero's opposite shoulder. She then straightened up and tilted her head a little as she stared at Nero before she shook her head and took the other blanket off of her shoulder and folded it up to roughly the side of a pillow before placing it behind Nero's head and gently slipping her fingers under his chin to push his head back against the soft blanket so that hopefully he wouldn't wake up in the morning with a stiff neck.

Aamori kept her mouth shut this time, at least for the time being since she wasn’t entirely sure what to say. There wasn’t a whole lot more on the topic of hunters and what had happened earlier to add. She was kind of glad though that Kanone was being really considerate like he was after what she had said. She had kind of wanted to speak about it but hadn’t for a little while, particularly since there weren’t a lot of people she thought she could speak to. She would have liked to have mentioned it to Celestine since he had been the one to actually experience the first encounter with hunters that she had but he was quite frankly on the grumpy side today and she didn’t think she’d get a nice reaction of him whereas she was getting what she wanted out of Kanone. She didn’t bother moving much at all when she heard someone coming down the stairs. She did however cast her eyes in that direction so that she could try and see who it was.

Kyran nodded his head slightly after Hikari had said that she would be right back. He watched her leave for only a moment or two before looking over to the couch where Aamori and Kanone were. He half wondered if he might be interrupting something as he moved a bit closer to them. “Sorry to interrupt…” He started. “…but here.” He said as he started to take one blanket off of the top and hand it to Aamori and then reach for another once she’d taken it. He then held out the second blanket and waited for Kanone to take it. “There aren’t beds for everyone… so blankets are what we’ve got.” He said as he slipped the last blanket under his arm and took a step back. He kind of wished that there were better places for everyone to sleep but this was better accommodations then the forest would have provided them with at least.

Aamori lifted her eyes slightly to look at Kyran when he approached and started to speak. She looked at the blanket he held out for a moment and then reached out to take it from him. She set it down in her lap and smiled slightly. “…Thanks.” She hadn’t really expected a blanket but she was pretty happy to see it. Perhaps finding someplace to sleep in the house wouldn’t be that difficult now that she had this. She kind of wished that she had thought about bringing a blanket of her own with her on this trip. She really hadn’t thought about bringing something like that until now. It probably would have just been too much to carry in the long run and so long as she was outside someplace she suspected she could always lay with Zale and he was plenty warm like a blanket.

Reyes didn’t wake up when Hikari wound up outside and covering both he and Nero with a blanket. He was too tired to bother with waking up for that though he did move a little. He snuggled a bit more into Nero after the blanket was over them. Nero also didn’t wake up though he probably should have considering his head had been moved so that a blanket could be placed behind it. He was quite tired himself and having to deal with Reyes being on this trip along with the reasons for it, and everything else that happened earlier in the day he was more than ready to call it a day and not wake up until morning.

Cyndel 09-30-2009 06:22 AM

Kanone pulled his arm away from Aamori when he noticed that Kyran was getting closer to them and finally glanced back to him when he held out the blanket toward him. He reached up to take it with his free hand and forced up a smile. "Thanks," he said simply as he laid it in his lap pretty much the same way that Aamori had. He shrugged a little when Kyran said that there weren't beds enough for everyone. He'd kinda already assumed that much considering the side of the house. "I think we'll live," he said lightly. He finally pulled his arm back from Aamori and sighed as he started to stand up. "Think I'm gonna go find a corner and claim it," he said with a half smile. As comfortable as the couch looked, he guessed he'd best leave that for one of the girls. Sleeping in the floor wouldn't really kill him, he guessed. He may even go outside and sleep on the porch near Celestine or something.

Hikari smiled slightly at Reyes and Nero before she turned and rounded the house to head back inside with the remaining blanket. She was pretty sure Celestine was set, so she guess she could just use the last one herself unless someone else needed it. She opened the door and stepped back into the house before closing the door behind her and glancing back to Kamaria. "Well, I think we're all about ready to turn in for the night. Sorry for the mass intrusion..." she said with a weak smile.
Kamaria glanced over to the door when Selenity came back inside and smiled slightly whens he started apologizing for all of them. "Don't worry about it..." She glanced back toward the living room for a moment and then sighed softly," You can go ahead and take my bed tonight, Selen, I'll find somewhere else."
Hikari sighed heavily when she said that she could take her bed and shook her head. "No, Granny, I'm not taking your bed. I'm sleeping int eh floor," she said firmly. "If you just really want to join me, that's okay, I guess, but you may as well sleep in your own bed." She smiled at her and then stuck her tongue out playfully before starting toward the living room.
Kamaria just stared at her for a moment and then half smiled before shaking her head. "...Alright, don't say I didn't offer..." she said simply. She just didn't feel right knowing the princess was sleeping in the floor when there was a bed, but...well she wasn't going to argue with her; she knew Selenity would win. Besides, Selen was in better shape than she was. She just turned back to finish drying the last couple of dishes so that she could put them away and head toward bed herself.

Yotsy 09-30-2009 07:02 AM

Kyran smiled slightly. “You’re both welcome.” He responded after both their thanks. He nodded his head a little after Kanone had said he thought they’d live. Of course they would. The floor wasn’t that bad of a place to sleep. It would likely just leave some of them sore in the morning. He gave another slight nod of his head when Kanone said that he thought he was going to find a corner and claim it. He figured he needed to find a spot on the floor against a wall for himself as well. He wasn’t even thinking of taking the couch when there were girls who could use it. He also wasn’t going to attempt sleeping in a chair; he was just too tall for that. So the floor really was the best option for him, not that he minded really… though a bed would be wonderful. He was starting to think maybe they were being spoiled with as often as they’d gotten some place comfortable to sleep with a few beds. He continued to stand where he was for a few moments; at least until he noticed that Hikari was coming back towards the living room. He stepped towards her and smiled a bit. “Get those two taken care of?” It was obvious that she had but he was kind of curious to know if Nero had put up any type of fight over being given a blanket by Hikari.

Aamori glanced over to Kanone briefly when he started to pull his arm back and stand up. She hadn’t expected him to move, let alone go find a corner to sleep in. He had been the first one on the couch so she had thought she would get up and move and let him have it. She figured if she didn’t find the floor comfortable she could always attempt a chair like she had in the past… then again… chairs were kind of dangerous for her; she usually fell out of them and wound up on her face until morning. She stared up at Kanone momentarily with her hands resting on the blanket in her lap. “You didn’t have to move Kanone; you can have the couch if you want it.” She told him quietly. She supposed if he really didn’t want to take the couch then she wouldn’t mind it too much since it was probably the second or third most comfortable place to sleep… well, unless you were Celestine. He’d argue that it was more comfortable some place outside, most likely.

Cyndel 09-30-2009 07:55 AM

Kanone smiled slightly at Kyran and then glanced back to Aamori. "Haha...yeah....you want me to get yelled at?" he asked with a half smirk when she said that he could have the couch if he wanted it. Of course he'd rather sleep there, but he knew that Celestine and possibly even Kyran would have his head if he ran a girl off the couch so he could use it himself. He shook his head and waved his free hand before starting around Kyran. "I think I'll just go sleep on the porch," he said simply. He couldn't say he was much better off than Celestine. Of course he could stand being in a house and all, but this one was a little cramped, and it was just easier for him, as a wind dragon, to sleep out surrounded by fresh air. "Night guys," he said simply before he started to hear around Kyran and Hikari since she was coming back in here. He didn't waste too much tine heading outside and offering Kamaria a smile on his way out before he headed out onto the porch. He glanced around for a few moments and then sighed before moving over to the side of the house again where he just stretched out along the porch and rolled up in the blanket, practically cocooning himself while he laid against the house.

Hikari smiled slightly at Kyran when he asked if she had gotten those two taken care of. "Yes, they're both sleeping like babies," she said with a soft chuckle, "I didn't wake them, just covered them up." She glanced to Kanone for a moment when he started around them and said goodnight. "Night, Kanone," she said simply before glancing back to Kyran. "Well, would like to try to squeeze into the chair?" she asked with a slight smile. She knew he would be scrunched into that chair if he tried it, though at the same time, she was almost too tall for that herself, but she would probably fair better than he would. However, she had a feeling she may just curl up on the rug and go to sleep since that may be more comfortable.

Kamaria fished putting away the dishes and returned her slight smile to Kanone before he left the house. She then turned and started to head back into the living room before smiling slightly. "...Well, I'm going to call it a night. I'm sorry I couldn't find you anywhere more comfortable to sleep... YOu know you girls could share my bed—"
"Go to sleep," Hikari interrupted her with a soft laugh. "Well be fine..." She turned around to give Kamaria another hug and then let her go. "Goodnight."
Kamaria sighed again and stood there until Selenity hugged her before she shook her head a little as she wrapped her arms around her again. "...Alright, alright... Goodnight, then." She offered them a slight smile and then shook her head before turning to head back toward the stairs. She didn't see why Selenity wouldn't let her spend a night on the sofa and just take the bed so she and at least one of her friends would be more comfortable.

Yotsy 09-30-2009 08:20 AM

Aamori just kind of stared at Kanone for a moment when he asked if she wanted him to get yelled at. Of course she didn’t and she wasn’t really sure who’d yell at him, especially if she was telling him that he could have the couch if he wanted. It wasn’t like Kanone was being an inconsiderate jerk and taking the couch without first considering anyone elses comfort. She sighed quietly when he said that he was just going to go sleep on the porch. If not for the fact that he was a wind dragon she might have complained about that. As it was she kind of felt like she was running him out of the house and off the couch but she did at least know better. Being a wind dragon he was like Celestine and preferred to be outside. She glanced over to Hikari and Kyran momentarily and then Kamaria when she came into the room, or rather was passing through. She wouldn’t have taken the woman up on her offer even if Hikari had. She couldn’t see taking an older woman’s bed when she herself was young enough to handle the floor or the couch since it looked like she was going to get to claim it. She stared over at Hikari for a moment before eyeing the couch and then looking back to her. “…Hikari, do you want the couch?” She asked. She figured she should ask first since Hikari was here now. She didn’t mind sleeping on the floor and would give the couch up to Hikari. Kyran on the other hand… she might fight him for the couch but knowing him he’d be a gentleman and let a lady take the couch over himself.

Kyran watched as Kanone started to leave for the back door and nodded his head slightly. “Goodnight.” He responded and then started to turn his attention back to Hikari. He was a little surprised to hear that both Nero and Reyes were sound asleep… well… okay maybe not that surprised but he was a little at the fact that she hadn’t woken them. “That was nice of you.” He responded after she had said that she just covered them up. He probably would have done the same thing but it was still a nice thing to do. He glanced to the chair briefly when she asked if he would like to squeeze into the chair. He shook his head with a slight smile on his face. “I think you’d have to chop me off at the knees first.” He said jokingly. “I think I’m just going to sleep on the floor, rather than subject myself to a world of hurt from a chair.” He added. He glanced to Kamaria when she came into the room and started to speak and then shook his head lightly when Hikari interrupted her. He just smiled a little once Kamaria had finally started to go. “Goodnight and thank you.” He said before shifting slightly and moving over to an empty space against the wall so he could sit down and try to get comfortable.

Cyndel 09-30-2009 10:44 AM

Hikari chuckled when Kyran said that they would have to shop him off at the knees to fit him in the chair. "Yes, I think I know what you mean," she said with a soft laugh. Her attention turned to Aamori for a moment when she asked her if she wanted the couch and then smiled slightly as she shook her head. "No, that's alright. I believe I can make due with the floor." She was pretty sure that chair wouldn't be too comfortable for her either, but she still didn't want to run Aamori off of the couch. She could sleep in the floor and be just fine. Once Kyran had said goodnight to Kamaria and she had given them a backwards wave and responded with a 'goodnight' of her own, Hikari just started across the room and watched as Kyran started to get comfortable. She just stood there for a moment and then sighed heavily before plopping down on the floor near the small table. Normally she would have been over there trying to snuggle up and use Kyran for a pillow, but she didn't really know how well Kamaria would take that, so she left a good bit of distance between them, well, in fact, she was on the other side of the room, practically. She unzipped her boots and removed them only to place them under the table before glancing around. "Well...Goodnight," she said to pretty much everyone in the room before she fell over and tossed the blanket over herself in one swift motion. She closed her eyes and nuzzled her face against her arm as she tried to get comfortable and go to sleep.

Aamori gave a small nod of her head when Hikari shook her head and said no in response to her question. She watched only for a moment once Hikari had gone to find herself a space on the floor and then went about making herself comfortable. She shifted a little, just enough that she could stretch out on the couch as much as possible and then started to unfold the blanket and cover herself up before resting her head on a folded arm as she laid on her side. It wasn’t going to take a whole lot for her to fall asleep once she shut her eyes. She was tired though not as tired as some others. She cracked her eyes open a little when she heard Hikari say goodnight and then smiled very slightly. “Goodnight.” She responded quietly and then shut her eyes once more.

Kyran watched Hikari momentarily when she went to sit down. He wasn’t surprised that she took to sitting somewhere with some distance from him. He kind of expected it though it still kind of bothered him. He had grown a little used to her sleeping so close to him lately but he had expected this, especially here of all places. He continued to stay seated upright where he was until after Hikari and Aamori both had said goodnight. He didn’t really bother uttering a word and just sat there for a few moments longer before he finally decided to just stretch out on the floor as best as he could and cover himself up. He was certainly quite tired, especially after the unexpected amount of exertion today. Well, it could have been worse… today wasn’t really that bad, at least physically perhaps. It really didn’t take long at all for him to fall asleep even given the sleeping arrangements.
