Hikari smiled slightly at his comment, "Yes... that's true. But she can't. She's the Capitan of the guard as well, she has her own duties to tend to." she chuckled softly, "Someone has to whip Jett and Kyros into shape." Her tone softened slightly and she let out a quiet sigh, "And someone has to keep an eye out for Sri. She's not as much trouble as I am, but she can still get into her mischief." She kept her eyes on the stars, partially just to keep from looking at Kyran again. "I wouldn't want to risk anything just because I'm starting to miss female company. I know there are other girls on he trip, but...I'm not really sure how to relate to them. I actually find it easier to talk to you than anyone."

Nanashi cracked his eyes open for a moment when she nuzzled him and half smiled as he draped one arm over her before closing his eyes to sleep again.

((Bleh fixing typos. I hate the schools computers and their lack of spell check. >.<))

Yotsy 04-10-2008 06:16 PM

Kyran shifted slightly and let his eyes go back up so that he was staring at the stars again. He gave a very faint sigh and nodded a bit. "I suppose that it would be rather difficult for her to drop everything she's doing and tag along with you, just to keep you company." He paused. "You know, I'm sure that you could find something in common with either Aamori or LaRae if you really wanted to." He said glancing over at her. "You haven't exactly tried to be buddy-buddy with either of them. If you tried to be friendly to one of them I'm sure they'd eventually warm up to you. Though, I do enjoy you're company so I'm not going to go pushing you away onto either of them." He said with a soft laugh. He was pretty sure that Hikari could get along with anyone, as long as they were open minded; Which both of the other girls seemed to be considering the two guys they'd already warmed up to. He quite enjoyed her company and wasn't really sure he was ready to have to bond with the 'men' in the group. Unfortunately he didn't see himself really getting along with any of them and the last thing he wanted was to be standing around with them and no one talking. He was a talker after all, more so then a silent bystander. He shook his head softly and gazed back up at the stars for awhile. "...There will be more then enough female company to go around..." He said quietly, almost in a whisper as he thought about his sister. She was inclined to show up somewhere, either that or they'd run into her if he decided to head home for something.

Cyndel 04-11-2008 04:04 AM

Hikari smiled weakly and glanced over to him again finally. "Yes, I know that I probably could..." she said slowly and then laughed weakly, "I don't know... for some reason, I never know what to say to girls that I haven't known for a long time. Guys I can talk to no problem, but when I try to stat talking to a girl I never know what to say." She was around men more than women usually... the way that Ishta acted, she could barely be considered a woman. Hikari wasn't much more than a book worm, and in her territory at least, book worms were usually male. Few females there knew how to even hold a bow steady, and Hikari was a very good archer, thanks to Ishta. Almost everything Hikari did went against what the majority of girls in her territory did. Her land would almost remind someone of medieval times where women weren't expected to do much more than learn how to sew and do needlework. Of course, she'd learned to do that as well, but she preferred reading over sewing. She'd only learned to sew because she didn't usually like the clothes that others made for her and wanted to just make her own.

Kyran yawned again softly; Pulling his hand from behind his head to cover his mouth. Rather then placing his hand back behind his head he rolled over onto his side and propped his head up in his hand. "Well... I don't really know what to tell you." He said quietly while he looked over at her. He smiled a little. "...We should probably be getting some rest. It is getting late after all." He was rather tired himself but he didn't think he'd be getting much, if any sleep. The uneasy feeling, along with the static was making it hard to get comfortable. He'd probably be awake for most of the night, if not the entire night. He sighed softly and shut his eyes gently.

Cyndel 04-11-2008 08:47 PM

Hikari glanced over to Kyran when she heard him yawn and smiled weakly. "...Yes, you're right. I'm sorry I didn't mean to keep you up." she said softly. She finally rolled onto her side, facing away from Kyran as she curled up into a ball, "Good night, Kyran." she said quietly as she closed her eyes. She was definitely keeping a little bit of distance between them tonight...hopefully she wouldn't roll over and fry herself on him while looking for something to curl up around. She was pretty tired herself, so once she shut up and got comfortable, it didn't take her more than a few minutes to fall asleep.

Yotsy 04-11-2008 09:06 PM

Kyran opened his eyes back up when she apologised for keeping him up; He would've responded letting her know it wasn't her fault and that he didn't mind but he feared that might spark more conversation and they really did need to try and sleep. He sighed softly watching her roll over onto her side. It didn't take much longer for a wave of tiredness to overwhelm him and his eyes were shut again. He barely slept, in a state of being half away and restless. He'd tried to sleep like this for two hours tops before he finally opened his eyes and sat up with a disgruntled sigh. He was still tired, but couldn't seem to get to sleep. He had way too much energy built up in him and it was keeping him awake. He glanced over at Hikari for a moment as he rubbed his eye softly with the back side of his hand. At least it appeared everyone else could get the sleep they needed. He quietly rose to his feet after removing his boots and dusted himself off. It was apparent that he wasn't going to be getting any sleep tonight. He sighed again softly and moved over to the tree closest to where they were sitting and proceeded to climb up it. The tree was one of the larger ones in the area, not to mention quite tall. He wasted very little time getting near the top to one of the larger branches and sitting down, resting his back to the base of the tree. He let one leg dangle off the branch and his tail slowly uncurled and fell along side his dangled leg. He sighed softly and looked up at the stars like before. If he couldn't sleep, he at least planned to relax for awhile.

Cyndel 04-11-2008 09:43 PM

Nanashi was awake not long before the sun rose, though he remained still and quiet. His eyes wandered down to LaRae for a moment and he smiled slightly, and then gently ran his hand along her arm. This was the time that he usually got up when he was alone and having trouble sleeping. He'd slept fie the night before, but eventually the position he was in grew uncomfortable. He tried to shift positions a little without waking LaRae. He didn't want to wake her until they had to leave. He glanced around for a moment, noticing Hikari still curled up on the ground asleep, her arms wrapped up around her own tail. He spotted Celestine in another tree and part of Aamori on the other side. He didn't see Nero anywhere, but he knew that wasn't anything uncommon. What he was a bit surprised about what that he didn't see Kyran anywhere. He looked around for a few moments and then looked up to the trees again and spotted a dark silhouette near the top. What the heck was he doing all the way up there?

Yotsy 04-11-2008 10:46 PM

Kyran sat quietly at the top of the tree just staring off in the distance at nothing in particular. He'd decided before to move away from the others soley because he didn't want to shock anyone; Mostly Hikari though. He was afraid if he had stayed down there she might have ended up touching him again. When he noticed the sun starting to rise he looked back down to the ground for a brief moment. He sighed softly and brought his eyes back up, looking over the green terrain. His eyes slowly scanned the surrounding area, stopping for a moment to take a second look at something that caught his eye as the sun shone over it. Something he hadn't been able to see before while the night had fallen. It wasn't completely visible from where he was sitting but it appeared to be a large stone structure. Of course it peeked his interest because it was something he didn't remember seeing in any of the forests. He had been told that none of them had anything more then some animals and greenery. "...I'll have to check that out..." He mumbled quietly to himself as he stared at the structure for a few more minutes trying to think of why he'd not been informed of it's existence.

LaRae woke almost immediately as the sun started to peek through the trees. She opened her eyes slowly and blinked a few times before realising where she was laying. She sat up rather quickly, a bit embarrassed because she hadn't remembered falling asleep on him; Then again she didn't remember going to sleep at all. Once sitting up she leaned forward slightly, hunching her back so that her hair once again fell into her face; A habit of hers. "...Sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep on you..." She said quietly just before lifting her hand up to rub the sleep from her eyes.

Aamori had actually been awake for awhile, though since she wasn't moving you probably wouldn't be able to tell. She sat with her legs crossed in front of her, her back straight and her hands were resting on her knee's palm side up. Her eyes were shut and she was completely quiet. The only movement coming from her was the steady rise and fall of her chest. She'd remembered to wake herself up with plenty of time to sort her magical energy. It took some time to actually complete, so she had woken with enough time to work. She had to sit in a meditative state to center herself and mentally move some of her magical energy into a reserve chamber in her own body. The reserve chamber was something she created within herself to hold a decent amount of energy that her body would slowly use to help her maintain her child-like state, while the rest of her energy was used for everything else she'd use magic for. Part way through the process she took a deep breath and it seemed like she was holding it forever, but she finally released it and continued back to her work.

Cyndel 04-11-2008 11:39 PM

Nanashi looked down at LaRae when she started to move and sat up straighter when she got off of him. He just smiled weakly and shook his head. "You didn't...You fell asleep sitting up. I didn't want you to fall over so I moved you." he told her, "I thought that might be a little more comfortable." he added, reaching over to tuck her hair back behind her ear. He pulled his hand back and stretched, cringing as his back popped in several places. "Geez..." He muttered as he leaned back against the tree again.

Celestine finally opened his eyes when he heard voices from across the clearing. He looked over to Nanashi and LaRae for a moment and sighed before closing his eyes again. He had been up for a while, but had yet to actually open his eyes. He shifted positions and looked up at the sky through the branches and then noticed Kyran up in another tree. He tilted his head slightly and sat up for a moment before standing. He slowly got up and reaching to the branch above him, hauling himself up and then continued to climb until he was at the top of the tree. He looked over at Kyran again, keeping silent as he noticed him looking at something. He turned his head to look off in the same direction to see what he was looking at. He narrowed his eyes slightly at the stone structure and tilted his head slightly, wondering if that was where they were going to be going next. He looked back over to Kyran again, but he didn't bother to ask. He'd find out soon enough.

Yotsy 04-12-2008 12:05 AM

Kyran's eyes hadn't moved from the stone structure; He was far too intrigued by it. He also couldn't believe he'd never been told about it, which also made him wonder if anyone even knew of it. He quirked a brow slightly, more curious now then before. He started to stand up on the branch to try and get a better view. He still couldn't see the structure in it's entirety, so he wasn't really sure what it was. He would find out soon enough. His ears twitched several times and his concentration was broken. He sighed softly and glanced over in Celestine's direction. "...Good Morning." He stated in a nonchalant tone. He rested his hand against the base of the tree and let his gaze fall back on the structure again. He couldn't help but hope that was the place where the relic would be found, it would make things a bit easier at least.

LaRae relaxed a bit when she heard that he was the one who laid her down like that. She smiled softly when he brushed her hair behind her ear. She started to turn to look at him and gave a soft sigh. "...You shouldn't let yourself be uncomfortable while sleeping just so I can be comfortable." She said quietly when she heard his back pop. "...Your just going to be in more pain the more often you do that." She sighed softly and looked away. "...I can massage your back for you if you like, since it's kind of my fault."

Cyndel 04-12-2008 01:23 AM

Celestine glanced over to Kyran when he wished him a good morning. "...Mmm...morning..." he muttered in about the same tone that he spoke to him him. He looked away again and stared at the structure again and then jumped off of the branch that he was on, falling a bit before landing on another which he just jumped off of as well, falling about halfway to the ground before opening his wings and slowing his fall, flapping once before he got to the ground. She touched down lightly and folded his wings back again and then looked around for a moment before sitting down against the base of the tree. He sighed and crossed his arms, closing his eyes again.

Nanashi shook his head slightly, "Oh it wasn't you... It's just kind of hard to be comfortable sleeping on the ground." He shifted positions slightly and looked at her, "It's not your fault, anyway, I did it myself. I was comfortable when I went to sleep just...not so much when I woke up." He put a hand on her shoulder, "Look... I told you before I don't mind letting oyu sleep on me... it doesn't hurt me. You don't need to feel bad every time my bones pop, it's not like that really hurts."

Yotsy 04-12-2008 02:15 AM

Kyran's eyes lingered on the structure for a little while longer, making note of where the structure was for later reference. He sighed softly letting his eyes fall towards the ground below. He'd half paid attention to Celestine when he spoke, then went back down to the ground but didn't focus on it too much. He had been far too interested in that structure to pay attention to anything else. He sighed lightly, removing his hand from the side of the tree and then stepped off the branch. He dropped down quite a few levels before landing on another branch where he'd bend his knee's slightly to brace for the impact. Then he'd stand up straight and step off the branch just like before. Once he got closer to the ground, he avoided the last branch and continued to drop; Just before his bare feet would've smacked against the ground his tail had uncurled and latched onto the branch he missed. Having done that caused him to jerk back up slightly keeping his feet from hitting the ground too hard. He then slowly set himself down on the ground and his tail released the branch in the process and curled back up behind him. He then walked back over to his clothes and knelt down picking up his long sleeved shirt and began to put it back on, pulling it down over his head.

LaRae nodded slightly, keeping her mouth shut for a moment after he finished talking. She had something smart-ass-ed to say in response to him, but decided against saying it. "...If you say so." She said simply. She smiled faintly and then turned her attention to her ankle which she'd nearly forgotten about until she moved her leg. Now that she was awake she realised just how much it had started to itch, of course she went to reach down to scratch it. Just as her fingers got close enough she stopped remembering that Hikari told her to refrain from scratching it. She balled up her fist slightly; It itched so badly.

Aamori had continued to sit in her meditative state for a while longer. She was still quiet and didn't move much at all. After a little while longer she let out a heavy sigh and opened her eyes. They by now had reverted back to the light blue color and the echo in her voice had faded too. She didn't move from where she was sitting, but she did stretch her legs out in front of her and rest her back against the tree.

Nero of course was still out of sight, hidden behind a large tree that managed to produce enough shade to cover his whole body from the sun that was peaking through the trees. Surprisingly enough he hadn't been awake early, he'd just managed to open his eyes and let out a small yawn. He didn't bother moving from where he was, he merely kept an ear out for when they'd start moving again. Until then he was content sitting by himself.

Cyndel 04-12-2008 04:57 AM

Celestine looked up again when Kyran got back to the ground and sighed, watching him gather his clothes, though by the time he started putting them back on he's looked away again. His ears twitched slightly at the sound of grass and leaves being rustled on the other side of the tree and turned his head slightly, guessing that Aamori was up, though he didn't bother her. He was pretty sure if she wanted to talk, she'd strike up a conversation whether he liked it or not.

Nanashi just sighed quietly, able o tell that she was biting her tongue to keep from saying something; probably something that he wouldn't like. He watched her start to reach for her ankle and then ball up her hand into a fist. "...Itching?" He asked simply before sifting around to look at the burn. "...Try blowing on it if you can... That may help a little." That's what he did when something within reach was itching and he was trying not to scratch it.

Hikari finally rolled over again and groaned quietly as the sun hit her face. She moved one arm, releasing her tail to flop back behind her again ans she tried to shield her eyes, but she was already awake. "Mmmm..." she groaned as she finally sat up and started to rub her eyes. When she lowered her arm she still looked half asleep. She was a prettily laughable sight with a few leaves stuck in her silvery, tousled mane. Most of her hair had come out of her ponytail, so it looked...pretty bad.

Yotsy 04-12-2008 02:24 PM

Kyran adjusted his shirt once it was on, immediately put off by the fact that it clung to him again. He sighed softly, shaking his head as he grabbed his boots and slipped his feet into them; Then lacing them up tight. He glanced over at Hikari when he heard her moving. He started to laugh softly seeing her hair the way it was. He moved closer to her and knelt down, smiling softly as he proceeded to pluck the leaves from her hair gently. He tried carefully to make sure that he didn't touch her; Only staying close to her long enough to pull the leaves from her hair. "So, how did you sleep?" After pulling the last leaf from her silvery hair he stood back up, taking a couple steps back.

LaRae started to pull her hand back releasing her fist as she brought it back to her lap. She gave a heavy sigh resisting the urge to claw the burn until it bled. She looked over at Nanashi with a weak smile. "...Yeah... It itches... a lot." She said quietly shifting her glance back to the burn for a moment. Blow on it? She'd done that when her wrists were bothering her; That did seem to help a little but her ankle was a little harder to get to. Though if she tried she was pretty sure she'd manage. She shook her head lightly. "I'll be alright. I just need to wrap it up with that bandage that Hikari gave me." Her eyes shifted and she started looking for the bandage; She couldn't remember exactly where it went after she came back over. It didn't take her too long to find it; It was near her after all. She reached over and grabbed it, holding it in her hands.

Aamori gave a soft sigh of relief now that she wasn't going to have to be fearful of who she spoke to. Now she could go back to being her talkative, happy-go-lucky child self. Though, she couldn't help thinking that her returning to this state was going to push Celestine away. Well if that was the case she'd just have to find someone else to talk to, or maybe she come to some happy-medium when talking to him. She sighed again softly and lifted her hands up over her head stretching them until they made small popping noises. As she brought her hands back down to rest them in her lap she straightened her hair slightly. She took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "...So, how did you sleep Celestine?" She asked quietly looking down at her hands.

Cyndel 04-12-2008 03:03 PM

Hikari raised her head slightly when Kyran came over to her and nearly flinched away when he reached for her, not too keep on being shocked on the head. She blinked when he started picking leaves from her hair and sighed, reaching back to pull out the rest of her ponytail. She smiled at Kyran when he asked how she slept. "Thanks... And I slept alright, considering." she said before brushing a small rock away from where she'd woken up. Apparently she'd rolled over on it at some point in the night. She ran her singers through her hair a few times and made a face when she caught a snag. She finally gave up and open the smaller front pouch on her bag, pulling out a small blue comb with a decorative white flower at the top. She just went straight to combing her hair down and picking out the tangles, which with her silky hair, didn't take all that long, and then tied it back again.

Nanashi nodded slightly, watching her look for the bandage. If he'd seen it he would have pointed it out to her, but he was sitting opposite of the bandage so his view of it was blocked. He held out his hand after she found it, "...Would you like me to do it or would you rather do it yourself?" he asked simply, waiting for her to either give him the bandage or put it on herself.

Celestine opened his eyes again and turned his head slightly, though he still couldn't quite fully see Aamori. "...Well enough." He responded simply. "...I see you have your voice back." he stated simply. "Good for you." He sounded a little disinterested, but at least he was talking. He was still kind of tired... he'd woken up more times than he could count throughout the night at different noises and sometimes for no reason at all. He guessed it was just being in this territory...it was unfamiliar and it made it pretty hard to sleep peacefully.

Yotsy 04-12-2008 03:36 PM

Kyran stood up straight and stretched a little before looking back down at Hikari as she combed her hair. "Alright is better then poorly." He said quietly. "I hope to stop someplace with actual beds sooner or later... Maybe after we get the relic." He said moving over to grab his jacket. Once he had it in hand he started to put it back on, again being put off by the static cling. He shook his head softly and then looked back over to Hikari. "...We should get going here soon. I've got someplace I want to check." Of course he was referring to the stone structure that he'd seen while he was up in the tree.

LaRae fidgeted with the bandage in her hands for a few minutes before looking up at him and extending her hand with the bandage to him. "...It's easier when someone else does it." She said quietly. Once he'd taken the bandage from her she'd just sit quietly waiting.

Aamori sighed softly. "Yes well I did say I would have it back in no time." She paused lifting her eyes up slightly staring off into the forest. "I see you're just as unsocial as before." She stated in a slightly sarcastic tone. She had a feeling that all the talking they did yesterday may have been a fluke; He was already back to giving short, to the point responses.

Cyndel 04-12-2008 04:16 PM

Hikari nodded slightly, "That sounds good..." she said as she reached for her boots. "How did you sleep?" she asked while puling them on and zipping them back up. She stood and looked over to him, tilting her head when he mentioned having somewhere to check. "Oh! You have an idea then?" she asked, smiling, "That's good."

Nanashi nodded slightly and took the bandage from her, gently taking her ankle and starting to wrap it around. He secured it carefully and then very carefully rubbed his thumb over the burn in a circular motion, barely hard enough to even feel, but just enough that it would hopefully relieve the itch a little. He glanced at her and then let her go, glancing away again. He hoped that hadn't hurt.

Celestine shrugged slightly. "Mmm-hmm..." he mumbled, "I'm still tired." He muttered as he stood up, "It's too early to have much to talk about, anyway. At least I answered you, didn't I?" he said simply as he crossed his arms, "Would you rather that I give you a simple answer that doesn't take forever, or just not answer at all?" Apparently, he wasn't going to get into the whole chattering thing. He talked with her yesterday only because it was something fairly meaningful. How did you sleep was a simple question that deserved a simple answer. Did she really want him to elaborate on how uncomfortable sleeping outdoors was? She should know that from her own experience.

Yotsy 04-12-2008 05:09 PM

Kyran looked away when she asked how he slept. He sighed not really wanting to admit that he hadn't slept a wink. "...Alright I suppose." He said quietly; He wasn't exactly lying he did sleep for maybe an hour or two tops. He started to look off in the direction he'd seen the structure when she mentioned an idea. He nodded softly. "Yeah. I guess it's an idea. It's something I saw earlier that I don't remember ever seeing in any of these forests." He stood for a moment and then crossed his arms over his chest gently, after saying that his curiosity was peeked again. He wasn't sure why but he half wondered if he had imagined seeing that structure. Maybe it was something like a mirage? He sighed softly and unfolded his arms glancing around. "...Is everyone else almost ready to go?" He asked loud enough that he hoped they all heard him.

LaRae stayed quiet for the most part until he rubbed his thumb to her burn. She barely felt it but she'd been watching what he was doing so she involuntarily flinched as soon as his thumb went close to her burn. Believe it or not, it took a lot for her to be able to let anyone touch her wounds. She was just starting to be okay with certain people touching them. Her ears twitched a few times when she finally heard Kyran's voice. He seemed to be in a hurry today more then the past few days. She looked over at her boots and thought about putting them on; Then moved over to grab them and set them down in front of her. "...Thanks for doing that for me." She said quietly looking back over to Nanashi.

Aamori sighed and started to stand up, bracing her back against the tree as she made it to her feet. "You know, you don't have to be so serious all the time..." She paused and started to move around the tree over to where he was at. "It's a bit depressing to be around you when you're like this." She sighed again softly looking at him for a moment. "Then again, your usually like this... So I guess if I don't want your depressing anti social nature to rub off on me I could just not talk to you." She stated in a slightly nonchalant tone just before continuing on, walking past him out into the clearing a bit. She smiled a little, almost a smirk. "Though, I don't plan on not talking to you. It's actually kind of fun to pester you."

Cyndel 04-12-2008 05:26 PM

Hikari nodded, "I see..." she said thoughtfully, "Well...he did say the last place you would go to look for something...a place you didn't know existed sounds like a good start." She smiled and moved closer to him, "You may be closer to turning over the reigns to someone else than you think." She stretched a little and then looked off in the direction that he was looking and her smile faded slightly. Now the only thing that worried her was the prospect of running into some kind of guardian... she really hoped that was just a made up part of the legend to scare people, but then again..she highly doubted it.

Nanashi nodded slightly. "...Yeah...sorry...if that hurt." he said quietly as he started to stand. He brushed himself off and stretched out his wings for a moment before folding them again and turning back to look at Kyran. He nodded simply and then glanced to LaRae again, waiting for her to get her shoes on before extending a hand to help her up.

Celestine glanced back toward Kyran and shrugged, then looked back to Aamori. He looked at her indifferently when she said that it was depressing to be around him when he was like this. He was about to point out that he was always like this, but she beat him to it. "You could." He said indifferently when she said that she could just not talk to him. He turned to follow her, almost rolling his eyes when she said that it was fun to pester him. "...Well if you find it fun...then I would rather not hear you complain about my depressing demeanor." he said simply as he started over to Kyran.

Yotsy 04-12-2008 11:03 PM

Kyran nodded softly agreeing with the place he saw being a good place to look. "I'm just hoping I wasn't seeing things..." He said quietly, he wouldn't have been surprised if he was seeing things; Considering he hadn't really slept and he was restless all night. He glanced over at her noticing her smile fade and quirked a brow. "...Everything alright?" He took a few steps ahead and looked back at her again motioning for her to follow. Any conversation could be continued on the walk; At least that is what he thought. He paused for a moment and looked back again, around at everyone. "Lets go." He said simply as he started walking again.

LaRae had already started to put her boots on, lacing them up tight. She gave a little more wiggle room for her right ankle though, hoping that might cause less friction as she walked. She looked up at Nanashi when he stretched his wings and sighed softly looking away until he offered his hand. She stared at his hand for a moment and smirked slightly. "Ya' know it isn't fair that you can do that with your wings..." She wasn't really upset or anything, just seeing him stretch his reminded her that she couldn't. Her own wings were in dire need of some stretching. She reached up and took his hand, pulling herself onto her feet. Once she was up right she let go of his hand and proceeded to dust herself off a little.

Aamori shook her head laughing softly. "If you don't like hearing me complain about your demeanor then you should change it; At least around me, then you wouldn't have to hear me complain." She stated as she started to follow after Kyran. She hadn't really meant anything by what she said, she was just screwing with him a little. Though she did think it would be nice if he wasn't so down when he was around her. Though, she was pretty sure that he wouldn't change his demeanor for anyone.

Nero was almost immediately on his feet as soon as he heard Kyran say 'lets go'. He stretched behind the tree and cracked his neck slightly before stepping out from behind it and starting to walk after them. Of course he'd keep his distance from the others, unless they were unavoidable. Rather then walk with his hands crossed over his chest this time he stuffed his hands into his pockets and stared blankly ahead of him as he followed after Kyran.

Cyndel 04-13-2008 12:08 AM

Hikari blinked and looked back to Kyran again. "Huh? Oh...no, every thing's fine." she said, offering him another smile as she started forward. "I doubt that you were seeing things... I have a feeling we're heading in the right direction now." she tried to reassure him. Whatever you saw isn't the first off thing to happen since we got here." she pointed out, motioning to his clingy clothes.

Nanashi's ears laid back slightly when she said hat it wasn't fair that he could move his wings. He couldn't really tell if she was joking or not, but as usual, he took her seriously. "...I'm sorry... I wont do it again." He said quietly, trying to fold them a little more tightly against his back. He glanced back toward Kyran and then motioned his head for LaRae to follow. "Come on..." he said quietly as he started after him.

Celestine gave Aamori a slightly annoyed look. "...I will not change myself simply to suit you no more than you will change your 'persona' away from an annoying child to suit me." he said simply as he walked. He turned his eyes away from her to look ahead of him as he followed after Kyran, just trying to keep up enough that he and Hikari were in sight.

Kyran hated being reminded of his clinging clothes, but she was right. It couldn't just be a coincidence that his body had become some sort of a conductor for all this electricity and he'd seen some strange structure that he'd never been told about before. He sighed softly and without really noticing he'd gone back to picking at his shirt sleeve while he was walking. The structure wasn't too far off from where they were resting for the night so it shouldn't take them too long to reach it. Not to mention it was on the larger side, so as long as he kept walking in the direction he saw it, they were more then likely going to run into it. "Of all the things so far I think I could live without the static cling..." He said nearly mumbling. The feeling of every article of clothing sticking to him was extremely annoying, especially because it didn't seem to be letting up at all; Only getting worse. By now he'd attracted so much electricity that his own hair was making an occasional static popping noise which only aggravated him a little more.

LaRae shook her head softly hearing him apologising yet again; Only this time for something she was only messing with him about. "It's alright Nanashi." She said quietly moving closer to him as he had started to follow after the others. "I'll be able to stretch my wings soon enough; I couldn't possibly ask anyone with perfectly fine wings to not use them or stretch them for that matter." She smiled softly. "Besides, if you stop using yours who is supposed to lend me their wings since I can't use mine?" She said in her usual slightly mellow tone.

Aamori laughed a little and looked over at him with a smirk plastered across her face. "That is where you're wrong Celestine." She paused. "...If you asked me to talk to you in my natural state, then I would. But only because I trust you enough to not go telling everyone about me." She placed her arms behind her as she continued to walk, her fingers laced behind her back.

Hikari laughed softly, looking at Kyran with a soft smile on her face. "I'm sorry." she said softly. Her eyes wandered to his hair and she chuckled softly at the way it was fluffing up. She shook her head and continued to walk, looking around a bit in the process. She was trying to remember where she'd been just in case the knowledge of how to get back would come in handy.

Nanashi glanced back over to LaRae and smiled weakly. "...Oh..." he said quietly. He blushed and glanced away when she repeated what he'd mentioned about loaning her his wings. "...If the need arose, I wouldn't remember not to use my wings, anyway..." he said in the same quiet voice, "and of course I wouldn't leave you to fend for yourself."

Celestine looked back to her again, "I don't care what voice you use... It's just the way you act sometimes. It's annoying." He said simply. "...I wasn't very playful even when I was younger...that I remember. Nothing has changed."

Kyran sighed softly hearing another popping noise come from his hair; Right in his ear. He lifted his hand up to rough up his hair a bit hoping that might disrupt the flow of electricity. Though as soon as his hand touched his hair the noises just got louder and as he started to pull his hand away you could see a small bolt of static connected from his hand to hair; Much like before. He let out a heavy sigh and dropped his hand back down to his side and continued walking. It wasn't that much longer before he finally came to a stop in front of the structure he had seen earlier. It was free standing in a clearing much like the one they had slept in. The structure was easily a story or two high and appeared to be made from the finest of white stones. There was a set of stairs that lead down a flight to a large set of double doors; Right next to the doors was a tablet attached to the wall written on in ancient scripts. All of which was encased by a very intricate set of stone pillars connected by a bridge just over the stairs. Kyran just stood for a moment staring at the structure, of course with a quirked brow. He really wondered why he'd never noticed this before; Especially considering how easily it was to spot it from atop the tree. "...Well... This is what I saw..." He mumbled nearly speechless.

LaRae smiled seeing him look away again after her comment. "Ya' know even if I had to 'fend' for myself, I'm pretty sure I could." She wasn't trying to argue with him or anything, just merely stating her opinion. "...My wings are starting to feel better though, they don't hurt as much unless I try to move them a lot." Which had been nearly impossible to do, except the bandages had started to loosen. She glanced over her shoulder slightly to look at tip of her bound wing; Knowing full well if the need arose she'd cut her way out of the bindings and use her wings if she had to. They may have been broken in a couple places but they weren't completely useless. She sighed very faintly and happened to look up just as Kyran had come to a stop. Her eyes widened slightly see the size of the stone structure before them. She'd never seen something like this before. She'd half expected to recognize anything in the forest since it was created by her clan in the first place. So the fact that she didn't recognise it either, or even know what it was confused her a bit.

Aamori continued to walk with her hands behind her back; Glancing over at Celestine every once in awhile. "I wasn't referring to the voice only. My natural state is more then a voice and eye color, it's also my natural personality and not this childish kid one I use out in public." She paused, smirking again lightly. "Though I wouldn't have expected you to have caught on to what I meant." She looked away briefly focusing for a moment on where she was walking. "I only use this child-self because my child hood was taken away from me when I was young. Finding out what you're meant to become at a young age, for a lack of better words sucks. So it's like I get a second chance at everything I missed and it's also a good disguise." She said in a quiet tone before noticing that Kyran had stopped. She brought her eyes up and focused on the structure before her, not really as thrown off as some of the others might be. She had actually seen similar stone buildings before.

Hikari followed Kyran silently, keeping quiet as the static set off his hair. She was starting to feel uneasy again the closer they got, her mind flickering back to the possibility that there was some kind of guardian around this artifact. Once they did reach the structure, Hikari stopped in mid step staring up at it. "Oh...my...goodness..." she muttered in awe as she looked around. She slowly stepped closer to Kyran, her eyes wandering over the stones slowly, resting finally on the tablet near the doors. She narrowed her eyes slightly, unable to see too clearly from where she was standing what it said. She edged a little closer and soon realized that it was definitely not the modern language...though it did seem oddly familiar.

Nanashi smiled slightly at LaRae, "I know..." he said quietly whens he said that she was pretty sure she could fend for herself. He nodded, his smile broadening slightly when she said her wings felt better. "I'm glad." he said softly, "...But you should still keep them the way they are... they will only hurt again if you let them down now... you learned that the last time." he reminded her, just in case she got any ideas. He paused when her expression changed and he looked ahead as well, his eyes wandering all over the structure. His stood silently gawking at the building with his mouth hanging half open. He'd never come across anything quite like this that he could remember.

Celestine barely looked at Aamori as she spoke. "Tell me about it..." he muttered under his breath after the word 'sucks' came out of her mouth. He glanced over to her finally and sighed, "I simply prefer to hold conversations with...adults." he said simply, "I am not particularly fond of idle chatter... I prefer to speak when it's important... so if my answers are not long enough to suite you in future, perhaps you should think of asking a slightly more in-depth question." He finished as he turned to look at the structure. Of course he was not surprised by it; he'd seen it before alreasy, though it was a bit bigger than he first thought.
