Celestine just dropped his hand back to his side when she got up and released it then sighed. Apparently she was still agitated with him and he still didn't know what he'd done. Once she started off he followed after her quickly, catching u to her shortly and soon passing her. He didn't bother to say another word on the way back to the house at all and once he got there he just opened his wings and flew back up the the roof. He flopped down and sighed before just stretching out on his back again and closing his eyes. A shadow passed over his face and he opened his eyes again to see Lani flying high over the roof of the house. He smiled weakly and raised his fingers to his mouth, letting out the two shrill bursts that he used to call her down. She soared down to the roof and landed on his knee, tilting her head nearly upside down to look at him. He chuckled softly. "What?"

Nanashi finished up with the ointment fairly quickly and then closed the top and walked back around the bed to put it back where he got it. He glanced at the door again and finally started forward. He slipped into the hallway and then closed the door behind him and walked further down the hallway to the bathroom to wash his hands. He turned on the water with his clean hand and found the soap then started to scrub off the ointment off of his fingertips. he forgot to take off his gloves first, but luckily, they had no fingers in them and only came part of the way up his hand to loop over his thumb, so he avoided getting them wet for the most part. Once he was satisfies that they were clean he shut off the water and dried them. It was then that the noticed the staff and sandals on the floor. He recognized both as belonging to Aamori. After glancing at the tub of full water and then the window, he started to wonder what in the world had happened to her.

Aamori continued to walk without a word until they reached the house. She watched for a moment when Celestine went right back onto the roof. She opened her mouth to say something to him, but stopped and shook her head softly. She wasn't exactly upset with him, she was annoyed about the dreams that she'd have to share if she wanted to sleep anywhere near him. Then to wake up startled, and be told to go back to sleep; Well, that wasn't exactly very comforting for her, or him she imagined. But what did any of his dreams have to do with her anyway. She was caught between just forgetting about the damn things, or thinking about them. Which of course also left her at the crossroads of sleeping near him, or away from him for the entire trip. And just how far away was far enough? She was sure the distance she'd gone last night might have been good enough, but who could tell for sure and if Celestine knew anything else about the actually ability of having these dreams would he even share them with her? She sighed heavily, a lot plaguing her mind as it would seem. Though at the top of her to-do list was retreieving her staff; Hopefully before anyone noticed it on the floor of the bathroom. She let her eyes trail from the roof down the side of the house and to the front door. She barely focused on it for long before pulling the door open, entering and not watching where she was going. She was in a slight hurry so once she was inside she slammed into the back of someone. The door managed to shut behind her, leaving her nearly sandwiched between the door and the person. She opened her eyes and peered up to see who she'd run into and shook her head, grumbling quietly. Of course, of all people it had to be Nero. Mr unpleasant. She averted her eyes when he turned and looked down at her. "...Sorry Nero..." She muttered quietly before slipping around him and heading for the stairs.

Nero glared at Minako after hearing the way she'd spoken to him, including her use of tone. It'd been awhile since he'd had someone talk to him like that, tone and all. He scoffed and stuck his nose up in the air slightly before responding to her. "...You've got a lot of nerve little girl..." He muttered as he lowered his eyes; His usual ice cold stare hooked on Minako. "...No one tal-..." He was suddenly cut off and stumbled forward a few inches. He growled lightly under his breath when he felt someone behind him, who had just ran right into him. The turned to see who it was and wasn't surprised to see Aamori standing there looking at him. Though she quickly averted her eyes, apologised and started to walk off. He grumbled as she passed by him, he just stared at her slightly angry. He'd already been irritable, and he had to deal with some girl's mouth that he'd never met and then Aamori just running into him. He probably wouldn't have been as upset if he'd managed a decent sleep. He watched as Aamori neared the stairs and thrust his arm out quickly to snatch her from the steps just as she set her foot down. He'd taken a tight grip to her upper arm just below her shoulder and without even noticing dug his claws into her arm slightly. He tugged her back sharply, completely catching her off guard and even causing her to stumble backwards into him. He glared down at her and went to open his mouth to say something to her but stopped himself when he saw the slightly frightened look in her eyes. Of course he then snapped out of his fit of rage and glanced down at her arm, noticing now that it had started to bleed a little from where he dug his claws in. He quickly pushed her away, back towards the steps and released her arm. He didn't say a word, then walked right past Aamori and into the kitchen where he turned a corner and went into the small breakfast nook and sat down in one of the chairs. He leaned his elbows against the table and looked at his hand, the very tips of his claws painted red. He sighed heavily then wiped his hand on his pants. He hadn't meant to cause her any real harm, hell he didn't know that she was that fragile. He was just so used to the men he worked with, and she certainly wasn't one of them. He actually believe it or not felt a little bad for what he did to her; But that was it. He'd never apologise for that. Never.

Minako merely stared back at Nero rolling her eyes slightly when he said she had some nerve, though she ended up laughing softly when Aamori bumped into him and caused him to stumble forward. She quirked a brow slightly seeing how timid Aamori became after bumping into Nero. That was a side of Aamori she hadn't seen, and it'd been some time since she'd witnessed anything like Nero's reaction. She nearly threw the book down on the coffee table in front of her when she saw him grab Aamori and then toss her aside. She started to get up just as Nero walked away and into the kitchen. She moved over to Aamori and reached out to look at her arm, but Aamori threw her hand up over it and then proceeded up the stairs rather quickly and without a single word. She gave a heavy sigh and looked down the short hall into the kitchen. She debated going in there and saying something to him. After a few moments she found herself standing in the kitchen staring at him sitting in the chair in the breakfast nook. She crossed her arms over her chest and placed all her weight on one foot and stared at him. "...What the hell is you're problem?" She asked, well more like demanded in the same assertive tone as before. "In this house you do not, I repeat, do not, treat women like that!" She spat a little riled up. She didn't have much else to say to him after that, at least nothing that wouldn't wake every other person who was still asleep. She huffed and turned around and went back into the living room and dropped herself down on the couch. "...And he said I had nerve...." She muttered with her arms still crossed over her chest.

Aamori managed to get up the steps quickly, though she stopped at the top of the stairs and removed her hand from her arm. She looked down at it for a moment, noticing the bleeding wasn't that bad. Though she now had blood on her hand and her arm. She sighed heavily as she lifted her hand back up to cover her arm. She winced slightly when she applied pressure realizing now that she was going to have a nasty bruise when all was said done. She was unfortunately very fragile. She'd never really been hurt, other then a very small scrape here and there and those were always taken care of right away in her territory. The scrape from last night, was the first small injury that produced blood that she'd ever really had. She was thankful at least that it was gone now, thanks to Celestine. But now her arm was hurting, this pain was definitely something knew to her. Whereas this might feel like nothing more then a couple needle pricks to some, it felt like she'd had daggers left in her arm for ages. It took her a few moments to finally get headed towards the bathroom again. She couldn't help thinking of how clumsy she was being lately. She sighed again softly when she made it to the bathroom door. She noticed that it was open a jar whereas she'd closed it behind her last night. She removed her hand from her arm and pressed only the tips of her fingers to the door to slide it open a little more so she could see inside, and of course not leave bloody hand prints all over the place. "...Hello?" She asked rather quietly as her fingers gently pushed the door open a little more.

Celestine sighed softly when he heard the door close at the front and raised his hand to stroke Lani's feathers gently. "...I think you are the only one who could put up with me for so long." he said quietly. Lani had been around him for a good three years by now, at least in human standards. Honestly he was always half surprised each time she returned to him. He always expected her to finally just disappear and never show up again. He was well aware that his personality could easily drive anyone away from him, though it wasn't like it mattered to him anymore. He could see why Aamori was agitated to a point, but he couldn't help the dreams... if he had someone to teach him he may be able to control the ability better, but he lived alone, there was no one around to share dreams with him. "Oh well..." he doubted that he would ever see any of them after this trip again anyway, so it didn't matter. What was the point of getting close to them anyway? He barely liked half of them and mostly tolerated Aamori because she was just so damn persistent.
Lani just craned her head at him again and screeched at him once before nuzzling against his hand. She didn't really seem to care, she was just happy to be getting attention.

Nanashi was still standing in front of the sink, looking down at the items by the tub when Aamori came to the door. He nearly jumped when she called into the room and then relaxed slightly. His eyes wandered over to the door and he looked at her for a moment before glancing away. "Um...h-hi." he said in that quiet, timid voice of his. "Sorry...I was just washing my hands." He said as he turned toward the door. Honestly, he wanted to bathe, but it seemed like Aamori had been there before he had, so he didn't bother to mention it. He moved over to the door, averting his eyes when he got to her the way that he always avoided looking at almost anyone's face. "...Excuse me." he said softly, but he paused trying to get out of the room when he saw her holding her arm. "...What happened to your arm?" he asked quietly.

Hikari was finally starting to get up as well. She rolled over in the bed and sighed, rubbing her eyes which were still heavy with sleep. After a long moment she sat up and stretched slightly before putting her feet on the floor and standing off of the bed. She tried to fix her hair a little, but was about too tired to even mess with it, so she just took the tie out all together and let the flowing waves go wherever they pleased. The only thing she did try to do was cover the gem in her forehead with her bangs. She wandered out into the hallway and glanced over to Kyran's door. She hesitated for a moment and then looked on down the hallway to see Nanashi and Aamori at the bathroom door. She just yawned and decided to go downstairs for a little it. Kyran was probably still resting, so she didn't want to bother him right now. With that decision in min she turned and headed for the stairs, descending them slowly. At least she was a lot better off today than she had been the day before. She was still a little weak, but she could get around fine. She just wasn't going to be able to do much healing for a little while.

Aamori took a slight step backwards when she saw that it was Nanashi who was in the bathroom. She averted her own eyes when he came closer to the door. Then lowered her ears when he asked what happened to her arm. She didn't move her hand away and gave a soft sigh. "...It's nothing. I just ran into something..." She mumbled quietly just before moving into the bathroom. She stopped once she was near the tub; She removed her hand from her arm long enough to reach into the tub and pull the stop to let the water out and then reached down and gathered her things. She held them in her arms, leaving her wound exposed as she headed back to the bathroom door. She stopped for a moment after the exited the bathroom. "...You can go back inside now, I'm done." She said quietly then started walking back to the stairs. Once she made it to the stairs she sat down at the top step and set her things down beside her. She put her holster and staff back on her thigh first and then started to lace up her sandals. She let out a heavy sigh once she finished and took a moment to sit and look at her arm.

Minako took a moment while sitting on the couch to try and regain her composure; She was still a little upset at what Nero had done, but there was nothing more that could done about it. Thus, no reason to dwell on it. She had started to reach for her book again but noticed Hikari had come down the stairs. She smiled softly. "Good morning, how'd you sleep?" She asked as she brought her book back into her lap. Moments later she glanced up at the stairs again she noticed a pair of feet at the top set and assumed it must have been Aamori again. She shook her head softly and started to open her book while still waiting to hear how Hikari was.

Nanashi stepped out into the hallway once Aamori went into the bathroom and then glanced back to the door silently. She was barely in there long enough for him to get more than a few steps away before she was out and telling him that he could go back in. He looked at her, eying her arm for a moment and then sighed softly as she passed him. He looked after her for a moment and then looked away again. He wanted to ask about her arm but he doubted she would tell him anything and furthermore there was nothing he could do about it. "...Thank you." he said softly. He looked back to the bathroom again and then turned to go back inside, closing the door behind him. He looked at the tub and started over to it, turning on the water and letting it fill with warm water while he looked around for some towels and then got undressed all but the bandanna and climbed into the water to clean himself off. He hardly even wanted to look at his scar covered body, he just quickly washed the dirt from his body and hair and body. The bandanna got a nice washing in the process as well since he refused to even take it off long enough to wash his hair. By the time he was finally finished, the water was fairly brown. He sighed as he got out and let the water drain while he dried himself off. He looked down at his dusty clothes and sighed before reaching down to put them on again. He didn't have anything else to put on.

Hikari looked over to Minako and smiled, offering her a nod. "I slept very well, than you." she replied softly. She rubbed her eyes again as she walked over to the couch and glanced down to the book in Minako's hands. She smiled slightly, "I see you're a bit of a history buff as well." she mused. "...I am going to get a drink if that is alright." she said with a smile as she edged toward the kitchen. Her throat was pretty dry since she hadn't really gotten anything to drink recently. The way this trip was going it was probably a good thing that dragons co fun for a little while without anything to eat or drink, though it didn't make things any easier yo be hungry and thirsty all the time.

Aamori sat at the top of the stairs until she finished getting her things together; Then stood up after looking over her arm. Thinking about it now she probably should have washed it off while in the bathroom. She sighed softly and started down the stairs into the living room. She paused once she took the last step off the stairs and looked around. She noticed Hikari towards the kitchen and Minako was back down on the couch. She didn't stay there very long. She turned and headed for the front door rather quickly; She removed her hand from her arm long enough to push the door open so she could get outside, then placed her hand right back over her arm. She glanced back at her arm for a moment while she stood outside the door, then moved over to the side of the house that was getting the most shade and sat down on the ground resting her back against the house.

Minako took a few moments to find her page again; She'd unfortunately lost it when she removed her finger from the page when she set the book down. Once she found it she rested her finger on the page again. She glanced up at Hikari again when she spoke and nodded softly. "...Yeah... Well, you sorta need to know all of this stuff when you're Kyran's little sister." She laughed very softly. "All he ever talks about with me half of the time is work. Though, I do find history to be very interesting." She stated before turning her eyes down to her book. She nodded again when Hikari said she was going to get something to drink. "Yes. That's fine." She paused and lifted her eyes briefly. "Oh, Nero's in there too. He appears to have woken on the wrong side of the bed." She warned before going back to her book yet again. The last thing she needed was Nero screwing with more people. She sighed softly and started to read finally. Though that was interrupted yet again when she lifted her eyes to look at Aamori. She watched as Aamori went outside and then sighed heavily before going back to her book again. She couldn't help but think to herself 'Maybe I'll get past a couple sentences this time...'.

Nero had still been sitting down in the breakfast nook staring at his claws. He sighed heavily and dropped his hands down flat on the table and grumbled softly. All around today was just not going to be one of his better days. He'd already hurt Aamori and pissed off that little girl, and now he could hear Hikari was up and moving. The last thing he wanted was to be stuck dealing with her next. He drug his hands across the table and then rested them in his lap as he leaned back in the chair and took a deep breath.

LaRae finally rolled over again onto her side and was starting to wake up. She opened her eyes slowly and gave a small yawn before pushing herself up into a seated position on the bed. She lifted her hand up and rubbed the sleep from her eyes then glanced around the room when she noticed that Nanashi wasn't in bed anymore. She gave a small sigh when she didn't see him anywhere in the room. She shrugged slightly and pushed the covers off of her just before moving to the edge of the bed and tossing her legs over.

Cyndel 05-08-2008 11:27 PM

Celestine's ears twitched slightly when he heard the front door open again. He raised his head slightly, but didn't get up to see who it was. He figured if whoever it was wanted something to do with him they would come up to the roof or call to him. Lani tilted her head and looked back toward the hound and then ruffled her feathers and took off again. Celestine sighed and sat up then, watching her fly off again and after a moment went to stand on the edge o the roof to watch her go. She was heading back toward the mountains. He sighed heavily, half looking as if he wished that he could follow her. He was ready to go home, just not to go looking for that stupid relic.

Hikari glanced back to Minako and smiled slightly. "...Oh...don't worry. He's almost always like that." She said simply before stepping into the kitchen. She glanced around for a few moments before seeking out a glass and filling it with water. She ignored Nero at least long enough to down half of the glass of water. Finally she glanced over to him and sighed softly. "...I suppose I should apologize to you. I was a bit frustrated with you last night." She said simply before taking another sip of water. "...Thirsty?"

Nanashi tried to dry his hair the best that he could before hanging up the towel and exiting the bathroom and starting into the hallway. He kept his eyes down as he walked, like he usually did until he got to the room that he and LaRae had been sleeping in. Once there he pushed the door open and stepped inside. He looked up then and smiled slightly when he saw LaRae was awake and sitting up. "...Good morning." he said quietly. At least now that's he'd showered he looked a lot better. At the moment his hair was a pieced out, ruffled mess from where he'd tried to dry it, but at least his skin was an even copper tone now and not splotched with dirt.

Aamori sighed heavily as she stared down at her arm. It hurt a lot more then she thought it would. She reached for her staff, unbuckling it from her holster and holding it tightly in her hand. She didn't debate about it too long before pressing the button to open it. She had five small marks to cover up on her arm, four in a line under her shoulder and then one on the other side not too far from her armpit. She sighed and started to pour some of the water from her staff onto the marks. Before she knew it the staff was empty; There was a lot less water inside then she thought. She set the staff down in her lap and watched her arm as two of the marks seemed to just disappear. She smiled slightly and then let her head fall back against the side of the house. "...That will have to do..." She mumbled as she started to fidget with her staff in her lap. The two marks were now gone, she however still had two more outward and one on her underarm. The two marks that were gone were actually still there, but you could no longer see the cut on the skin. The water mere closed the small cut, but deeper down it was still there and causing her pain. She sighed softly again and lifted her hand up to rub her arm lightly; Smearing the blood while trying to wipe it off. She had hoped that there had been more water inside, enough to at least hide any signs of what Nero did. Now there was nothing and she'd be without until she could return home. She shut her eyes gently and tried to relax.

Minako lifted her eyes from her book one last time and looked at where Hikari had been and then shook her head softly. "...Always like that?" She paused lowering her eyes back to her book. "...I think I'd really hate to see him on a bad day then..." She smiled softly and went back to reading.

Nero looked up briefly when Hikari entered the kitchen and then averted his eyes rather quickly. He only sighed softly when she said she should apologise. He started to bring his eyes back to her but stopped and let them focus on an empty spot on the wall. "...No need... I've already forgotten about it..." He muttered as he set his hands back down on the table. His claws were at least clean now, his pants served well enough to clean them with. His eyes darted over to the sink when she asked if he was thirsty. He hadn't had anything to drink, or eat for that matter in awhile and he could use something but shook his head lightly. "...No." He stated simply before letting his eyes come to rest on his claws. He was still a bit upset with himself. He wasn't usually like that towards women, or at least he tried not to be. He found it hard to believe that he'd actually made her bleed, even slightly. He couldn't believe that she was that fragile, it was almost obvious to him now that she mustn't have ever really been hurt before. He shook his head lightly and tried his best to just force the thought from his mind. Seriously, what did he care if she was hurt anyway?

LaRae glanced up when she heard the door open and smiled warmly when she saw that it was Nanashi. By the way he looked she could tell that he'd come a shower. She definitely thought that he looked better after a shower, and he probably smelt cleaner too. "...Have a nice shower?" She asked as she stood up from the bed and walked over to him. She lifted her hands up to his head and gently tried to straighten out his hair. She gave another soft smile. "I guess I may be in need of a shower now too..." She paused for a moment and then sighed. Bathing with her wings the way they were was going to be a little difficult now that she thought about it, but she couldn't very well go without cleaning up. She'd have to remove the bandages completely and let her wings down for a little bit. Then maybe she could talk someone into wrapping her back up, that is if she couldn't manage without the bandages; Or rather, get away without them.

Cyndel 05-09-2008 03:22 AM

Celestine sighed softly and then glanced down when he heard someone muttering below him. he sighed softly when he saw Aamori and knelt down a little, peeking over the edge to see what she was doing. He narrowed his eyes when he saw the red dots on her arm. After a moment he finally hopped off of the roof, hardly bothering to open his wings to catch himself so he just landed in a crouch beside Aamori. He didn't say a word, just looked at her arm and sighed. He wasn't going to heal her every five minutes when she got a nick or cut. "...Now what did you do?" he asked as he sat down beside her.

Hikari nodded slightly and then turned back around to refill her glass. She took another sip and then sat it on the counter as she reached up to get another one. She filled that one and then walked back over to the table, setting it in front of Nero. "I heard you woke up on the wrong end of the bed today." she said simply before going back to the other side of the kitchen to get her own drink. She hadn't seen hi drink anything at all since they set out so she was at least making it available easily to him, hoping he'd take it anyway. "You seem to do that nearly every day..." she commented before taking a sip. She was staring out the window rather than looking at him. "...How is your side?" she asked finally. She wasn't too sure how well she'd been able to heal him...and if she'd already asked she didn't even remember asking. She was at least still trying to be nice to him, whether he wanted her to be or not. She refused to be one to cause conflict with someone, and she was especially determined to get along decently with Nero just because of their clan's history. He didn't have to like her, but they were at least going to be civil.

Nanashi smiled weakly and stood still while she tried to fix his hair. "Well...I took a bath..." he said quietly. He raised an eyebrow when she said that she needed to shower. "...Maybe...you should just lean over the side to wash your hair and just rub down really well...that way you wont get you bandages too wet and you wont have to take them off." he suggested. "...No need to hurt yourself over it..." He was obviously still worried about her wings the way they were.

Yotsy 05-09-2008 04:03 AM

Aamori jumped slightly when Celestine ended up next to her. She had nearly forgotten that he was on the roof, only because her mind was preoccupied with other thoughts. She looked over at him once she settled down and then let her eyes rest on her arm. She sighed softly and placed her hand over the marks again. "...I didn't do anything..." She said quietly before turning her eyes away. "...I merely bumped into Nero when I went inside to get my things..." She mumbled. She didn't say anything more then that, assuming that Celestine could put the rest together on his own. She wasn't exactly sure why she even told him that much, considering she didn't tell Nanashi anything. The only reason she could think of was that she was kind of comfortable around him, and she felt she could trust him. She sighed softly and shut her eyes again.

Nero didn't look at Hikari again until she set the glass of water down in front of him on the table. He stared at the glass. "...I don't see how I can wake up on the wrong side of the bed, when I didn't sleep in a bed..." He muttered. He finally took his hand and took hold of the glass unable to resist drinking it any longer. He brought it to his lips and nearly drank the whole glass before setting back down on the table. He glanced over at her briefly when she mentioned his side again. "...It's fine..." He said quietly. He was for the most part alright, just a little sore; Especially from sleeping out on the rocks again. He reached for the glass again and finished it off quickly then set it down again and started absently tapping his finger against the side of it.

LaRae had let her hands drop back down to her sides once she finished trying to fix his hair. She just looked up at him and half nodded once he finished speaking. "That would be the logical thing to do, but these bandages have been on for a couple days straight." She paused. "They itch like hell and I'm sure I need to clean beneath them, and wash my wings. I'm pretty sure they don't smell very well either..." She sighed softly and looked over her shoulder at her wings. "...Plus I need to see what shape they're in..." She stated quietly. She knew that they weren't healed yet, that of course was naturally impossible but she did want to see how they were coming along. She moved away from Nanashi for a moment and walked over to the bed with her back to him. She knew he'd probably end up trying to talk her out of removing the bandages and she was bent on getting them off. She took a moment; Letting her hand glow a faint shade of green before another small root knife appeared in her hand. It took a little more energy to make something like that appear from thin air practically; but it wasn't of a large scale so she'd be fine. She lifted up the front of her shirt slightly and slipped the sharp end of the knife up her stomach to the other end of the bandages. She then pulled her shirt back down and her wings fell slightly from the slack in the bandages. She smirked lightly and quickly took the knife to the tops of her wings slicing through the bandages on either wing before setting the knife on the bed. Now it would be impossible for those bandages to be used and now they'd have to be removed. She winced faintly once her wings fell completely and she tried to keep them up on her own. They were incredibly sore and rather weak at the moment from their lack of use. She bit down on her bottom lip gently as she managed to keep her wings steady as they opened a little; The bandages that were binding them now starting to fall to the ground.

Cyndel 05-09-2008 06:02 AM

Celestine sighed and shook his head when she covered her arm. "...I've already seen it, no use in hiding it now." he pointed out. He tilted his head slightly and lightly placed his hand on hers for a moment before pulling it back, looking a little irritated. "That guy needs to learn to control his temper..." he muttered as he rested back against the wall. He could tell that the marks were bothering her, but he still didn't want to heal them with her awake. Sure it may be kinda obvious that someone was healing all of these minor cuts and scrapes, but he didn't really want to flaunt his ability to heal. If he was going to do it he'd rather do it at his own discretion and not have people expecting him to do it because he could like Hikari. He wasn't really sure if she'd noticed what he'd done or not since she just got up and walked off pretty much, but he really didn't care either way.

Hikari sighed softly and glanced back to him for a moment. "You know what I mean." she said as she looked away again. "...If you weren't so stubborn you could have come inside... I am sure there was at least one place to sleep, and even if not an even floor has to be better than the rocks. You could have even had the guest room and I would have taken the couch. Really you don't have to avoid us all of the time... We're going to be on this trip together for a while...the least we can all do is try to get along." Her ears twitched slightly and she turned back when she heard him tapping on the glass. She turned back and walked over to the table again, snagging it from him and returning to the sink to fill it again before putting it back in front of him. "...Well I'm glad you feel better at any rate..." she told him before going back to her spot by the window.

Nanashi sighed heavily when she started making up excuses to remove her bandages. "LaRae, you're only going to--" he started, but by the time he realized what she was doing, she's already cut the things off. he sighed, almost in irritation. "If you keep making them move like that you're only gong to hurt yourself worse..." he finished what he was trying to tell her before. "...Not that you're going to listen to reason..."

Aamori lifted her hand back up and placed it over the wounded area, applying a little pressure. She sighed softly. "...I wasn't hiding it." She paused. "It doesn't hurt as much when I'm holding it like this..." She mumbled looking away. Of course she felt the same way about Nero; He did need to learn to control his temper. Unfortunately everything was done and over with now; She'd just try to avoid direct contact with Nero for awhile. She started to look over at Celestine but she stopped. She felt rather silly to be honest. She'd been hurt again and just for bumping into Nero. And just last night she'd scraped up her knee from landing hard. She hadn't noticed right away that the scrape was gone, but when she had she knew that Celestine had to have done something. He was the only person she'd made contact with between the time she hit the ground and when she woke up. She didn't bother saying anything about it though. Knowing a little about him, he'd have told her if he wanted to share it. She lowered her hand for a moment and picked up her staff from her lap and placed it back in the holster, making sure to buckle it in snugly before returning her hand to her arm.

Nero only listened to part of what Hikari had said before he just zoned out. He had a habit of only listening to the important parts of what someone had to say; Though that came from the couple years he spent in the Military. His head jerked back slightly when Hikari took the glass from in front of him. It must have been clear from that point that he wasn't paying attention. He had started ignoring her about the time she said he could've slept in the guest room. His eyes followed her while she moved back over to the sink to fill the glass, then he looked away when she started to bring the glass back. Once she was back in front of the window he glanced back over at her. "You talk too much..." He said simply before taking the glass in his hand and taking a drink.

LaRae turned around as the last of the bandages dropped to the floor. She didn't make eye contact with him, and even had a slightly apologetic look on her face. She did listen to reason, she just didn't always follow it. She had been proud of herself for at least keeping the bandages on as long as she had; And here she felt like she was going to end up scolded again. She really didn't think that it was going to kill her to have the binding's off long enough for a shower. Once she was clean they could go right back on. She sighed softly and stood there quite still for a few moments. She had previously wanted to just keep the bandages off, but after having them off and realizing how much strain was being put on her wings she knew they'd have to be bound again. She couldn't go like this for long before she'd have to drop her wings again; Which would only hurt them more. She started to open her mouth to say something to him. "..." The words just wouldn't come out. She shook her head slightly and then started to move over towards the door carefully.

Minako finally finished the chapter in her book that she'd been trying to since she sat down the first time. She smiled softly and set the book down on the coffee table in front of her before standing up from the couch. She stretched a little and started to head towards the stairs. She was going to go up and check on Kyran, just to see if he'd been awake at all. She hadn't heard from any of the others, so she wasn't sure if anyone checked on him. Plus, she wanted to make sure he was conscious. If he wasn't she was going to get their uncle, who was a doctor to come have a look at him.

Celestine sighed softly and shook his head again. "...Are those honestly bothering you that bad?" he asked, obviously unable to believe that such tiny little marks could be that bothersome. He looked at her arm for a few moments and then turned his eyes away again. After a moment he reached into his bag and pulled out his pipe, staring at it again for a moment, looking as if he was debating on playing it. Actually, he was thinking of a way to discretely do something to help. There were certain spells that could allow energy to be transmitted through different things...such as light, sound, water... It basically depended on what was available and what the basis of your power was. Sound could have a lot to do with some wind dragon's power considering that wind was essentially moving air and sound required air to move in order to travel. What was better was if one knew how to work those spells they could cover a wider area than when they had to hold a hand over one little spot, though that also made it more dangerous since it was harder t judge what you were healing. That was the only reason he was thinking of deciding against that approach.

Hikari just sighed when he told her that she talked too much and looked back to him again. She shook her head. He reminded her so much of Ishta when she was in one of her moods. She walked back to him with her hands on her hips. "...You're a military man, aren't you?" she asked, hardly waiting for an answer before she continued, she was fairly sure that she was right judging by both his attire and his attitude. "Fine, I will put it in simple terms." she said as she braced her hands palm down on the table. "We are all stuck together and are going to be for a long time. You need to adjust your attitude and stop taking your frustration out of the rest of us. There's no need to make being around you so difficult." she said bluntly. "Kyran and I can only do so much to keep the peace in this group, we need a little help. So please, try to control yourself and think before you so something hurtful." She removed her hands from the table and stepped back again, since that was the most important part of what she was trying to say. "...Really I think we could all come to like each other given the chance... I already like you, you're just so hard to put up with." she stated honestly as she shook her head and returned to the counter to take a sip of water.

Nanashi shook his head slightly when he saw her moving toward the door and sighed, moving over to get out of her way. "...Just be careful." he said simply. he wasn't going to scold her again, it did no good at all. She would do whatever she wanted to do in the end and he knew it already. She reminded him of a child sometimes; the kind that would poke themselves if the eye just because you told them not to.

Yotsy 05-09-2008 05:29 PM

Aamori looked over at Celestine briefly then looked away, pulling her hand away in the process. She sighed softly. "...Yes... It's bothering me that much." She stated simply. "...Being who I am, back home... I'm never hurt like this, I never feel any pain... Nothing. So bleeding, being hurt, it's all new to me..." She muttered. "Back home there are people who are told to look after me, of course they followed me around in secret. But should I ever get a bump, bruise, scrape or small cut... They took care of it in an instant before I was able to feel the pain." She paused and stared at the ground. "It's silly... I know. But even the smallest little prick feels so much worse then it actually is... at least with me anyway." She brought her hands to rest in her lap and laced her fingers together, fighting the urge to want to press her hand against her arm. "...I tried to take care of the marks myself..." She pointed out, referring to the two marks that were no longer visible. "But I ran out of water..." She sighed heavily. "I'll be alright... I'm just not used to being in any sort of pain, that's all."

Nero didn't set the glass down until he had finished it off once again. He didn't even bother to look at Hikari even when she walked up to the table, he merely stared down at the empty glass. Once she had moved away and had finished talking he just shook his head softly. "...You call that 'simple terms'?" He muttered as he finally looked back over at her with his usual cold eyes. He couldn't help his stare always looking cold, it was just the way that he was molded. He sighed softly. "Yes, I'm a Military man." He said simply in an answer to her question, though he was sure she needed no answer. He leaned back in the chair and crossed his legs at his ankles in front of him followed by the crossing of his arms over his chest. "...I've been on my best behavior since we were forced to go on this little trip. I've refrained from wanting to harm at least two of you and I didn't mean to hurt that little water dragon." He muttered averting his eyes. "...I'm not going to completely change myself for you likes of any of you. You all are lucky that I'm even speaking at all... Though I could just go back to avoiding you all like the first couple days and save everyone the trouble of trying to get along." He commented with a smirk. "I also hate to inform you that no light dragon is going to be able to make all seven of us like one another. It's just not going to happen..."

LaRae didn't bother saying another word to him, she just headed out the door and towards the bathroom. She stopped and turned back to look at the stairs she thought she saw someone standing at the top of them; She was right, it was Minako. She sighed softly and turned back, headed for the bathroom. She stepped inside and moved straight over to the tub and turned the water on. She had originally thought of taking a shower but after seeing the size of the tub she couldn't resist a bath, let alone a chance to soak a little. She stood next to the tub struggling to hold her own wings up while she waited for the water to fill the tub. Once it was full she leaned over and shut it off. She started to head back over to the bathroom door to shut it and noticed that Minako was standing outside the door. "...What's wrong?" She asked quietly noticing the expression on the girls face, she looked rather concerned.

Minako had followed after LaRae rather then go into her brothers room. She was concerned after seeing LaRae's wings and couldn't help but follow her to the bathroom. She sighed softly when LaRae spoke to her. "Oh... I was just curious about your wings. They look like they're hurting you." She said simply. "I'm guessing you're taking a bath, if you need any help just let me know... Alright?" She said quietly. She wasn't sure that LaRae would need help, but she wanted to offer just in case. "Oh, and I think I'm going to call my uncle... He's a Doctor. I wanted to have him look at Kyran, but it looks like you could use his help too." She stood there for a moment longer before turning away and walking back towards her brothers door. She lingered in the hall for a little longer, until she saw LaRae shut the bathroom door. Then she pushed open her brothers door and walked inside. She couldn't help but smile softly when she saw him curled up on his bed, with his tail sprawled out on the floor. "...Well... That's a familiar sight I haven't seen in ages..." She said quietly before walking over to the side of the bed that he was facing. She leaned over slightly and gently set her hand on his forehead. He wasn't warm or anything, and by the looks of it he was conscious. She gave a sigh of relief.

Kyran barely moved at all, and remained still even when his little sister entered his room. He was sleeping of course. He moved slightly when he felt someone's hand touch his forehead. He started to roll over onto his back and with a slight smile on his face. Apparently having a good dream. Once he felt the hand move away he awoke very slightly, though didn't open his eyes. "...Hik--?" He stopped once his eyes were open and saw that it wasn't who he thought it was and sighed softly. "Oh... hello... Minako..." He mumbled just before looking away from his sister. He had almost forgotten where he was, but it all came back to him fast enough. He'd had a decent sleep and would probably be able to keep himself awake for a little while longer. Perhaps long enough to eat and drink something. He glanced back over Minako as he listened to his stomach growl. "...C-could you... get me something... to eat?" He asked quietly as he started to sit himself up in bed. He was still incredibly sore, but that was to be expected. He clenched his teeth together while he sat up and gently set his back against his pillows. "...Anything... will do..." He added before be started inspecting the burn on his chest.

LaRae had shut the door behind her after Minako had walked away. "...That was nice of her..." She mumbled. At least there was someone she could call if she had trouble while she was bathing. She shook her head softly and walked back over to the tub, taking a minute to slip out of her clothes and then get into the water. She hissed when the water hit the cut on her ankle and rather quickly pulled her ankle out of the water and hung it over the side of the tub. She growled lightly, upset that the water made that cut sting so bad. She was thankful that the tub was so large; big enough for two made it large enough for her to submerge her wings for the most part. Which meant no strain on herself to keep them up. It took her a few minutes to relax but she did finally. She just laid there for a few minutes before cleaning herself up and washing her hair. Once she was finished completely she slipped her leg back into the water long enough to get to her feet. Though once she was standing and went to get out of the tub, she set her bad ankle down first and slipped falling flat on her face with a loud thud.

Celestine lowered his pipe and looked back over to her again with a soft sigh. "...I have a feeling that pain is something that you will just have to get used to." He said softly. "We can't go around healing you every time you get a scrape..." He raised his hand again and set it on her shoulder lightly as he tucked his pipe back into his bag again. Once a day was all he was willing to go as far as near pointless healing. "Heh...maybe we should stock up on that disgusting herb and just numb you."

Hikari sighed and looked back over to him, ignoring the icy glare that he gave her. "...Then your best behavior is lacking." she said simply. She wasn't even going to bother sugar coating what she had to say. She looked a bit annoyed at his last comment and flicked her tail slightly. "Nero, I could honestly care less if you like me or not. All I want is for you to be civil with everyone else. I can deal with you and your foul temper." Finally she walked back over to the table again and looked at him, finally half smiling as she took the glass again. She just put her other hand on the top of his head, "We can at least pretend to get along." she said as she ruffled his hair before snagging the glass and taking it to get him another refill. For not being thirsty he was certainly drinking like a fish. Normally Hikari was pretty tolerant of people and could put up with nearly anything. The only reason that she even got mad at Nero the night before was because he hurt Kyran. She wasn't even mad because he dropped her, she was just angry that he dropped her on him. "Here." she said simply once the glass was full as she say it back in front of him again.

Nanashi just remained in the room for a while, longer than it had taken him to bathe. After a while he started to worry a little and finally got up just to go make sure that LaRae was alright. He went back into the hall and glanced back toward the stairs for a moment before heading to the bathroom. He noticed that Kyran's door was open and guessed someone must have gone in to check on him again. Just as he reached the bathroom door he heard a thud on the ground and cringed. That didn't sound good. "LaRae?" he called as he tapped on the door. "LaRae, are you alright?" he asked through the door, sounding pretty worried.

Yotsy 05-10-2008 12:59 AM

Aamori glanced over at him. "I don't expect to be healed every time. I didn't want to be back home... But they would freak out every time I got hurt and heal me. They really fear loosing an heir to an Elder." She half muttered the last part. She would have preferred being just an average person, but no. She had to go and be special. She sighed heavily when she felt him place his hand on her shoulder, and smiled softly when he made the comment about the herb. "...If I had to eat that herb, I'd end up boiling it rather then eating it the way you did."

Nero scoffed and looked away when she started to come back over to the table. When she put her hand on his head and ruffled his hair he bit the bottom of his lip lightly and then just sighed. Had she been a boy, she'd have been laying on the floor right now. But he was doing well to show his self restraint. Once she started to walk away again he sat up straight in the chair again and rested one arm to the table. "...And here I thought I was being civil." He muttered looking away again. "...I slipped up once and hurt that fragile girl... and that warrants this much griping?" He paused and glanced back to her when she brought the glass back again. "...Or am I missing the reason for this impromptu talking to?" He looked at the glass for a moment and then looked back at Hikari. "....Or are you saying all of this for what I did last night to Kyran?" He turned his head away and laughed slightly. "That is it, isn't it? You're just mad because I hurt your buddy."

LaRae took a few moments before she could push herself up off the floor. She lifted her face from the ground just about the time she heard Nanashi at the door. She coughed a couple times and got herself into a seated position with her back to the door. "...Yeah..." She paused. "...I just slipped..." She said through the door as she looked down at her ankle with a glare. The only reason she'd fallen was because of her damn ankle. She gave a heavy sigh and just sat on the floor for a few minutes before getting to her knee's and crawling over to the towel that she'd set down with her clothes before getting into the tub. She took the towel and dried herself of for the most part before taking the towel and wrapping it around herself and then she sat on the floor again. "...I think I twisted my ankle... I'll be out in a few minutes..." She said again through the door.

Minako only smiled softly when the first thing he asked for was something to eat. She nodded. "Of course brother." She stayed in the room for a moment longer while she watched him sitting up. She took looked at his burn for a second while it was exposed again. "...I'll bring something up after I send for Uncle." She smiled and turned to head back into the hall. She stopped right at his door and looked back at him. "Is there anything else that you want?" When she saw him shake his head 'no' she nodded and proceeded towards the stairs. She was focused on what she was doing, so she didn't even notice Nanashi by the bathroom door and she hadn't even heard the thud when LaRae fell. She hurried down the stairs and headed towards the kitchen. She turned almost as soon as she entered and opened a door that went down into the basement. As soon as the door opened you could hear something growling from the bottom. She smiled softly and went into the basement. As soon as she hit the bottom the noise stopped. She was down there for a few minutes before rushing back up to the kitchen being drug by a dog sized dark purple fox with three fluffy tails and no eyes. Once she was back up stairs she tightened her grip on the creatures collar and yanked him into a seated position. The creature was rather strange looking, considering it's three tails and no eyes but it had an odd charm about it. She looked up with an apologetic look on her face. "I'm sorry if he scared either of you. Nobu hasn't been allowed out for awhile, so he's a little excited."

Kyran placed his hand gently on his burn and felt it for a moment before looking up at his sister when she asked if he needed anything else. He shook his head 'no' and then let his eyes rest back on his burn. He was slightly startled to hear the commotion coming from down stairs and he shook his head again knowing what it was. "....She's letting Nobu out...." He said softly before relaxing again. "...I hope Nobu doesn't creep anyone out..."

Cyndel 05-10-2008 02:44 AM

Celestine shook his head and sighed softly. "Well I guess it can't be helped." he said simply. He could tell that she was rather annoyed with it. "...I get nicks and cuts all the time...it's bust to just clean them out and forget about them." he said simply. He pulled his hand back again and glanced down to his bag. "...But I don't think I have anything in here..." He did feel a little bad for drinking so much of her water, but he couldn't very well give it back so he didn't think on it too much. He just knew in future not to accept an offer from her staff.

Hikari sighed softly and shook her head at Nero. "...Nero I was angry last night because you kicked the living daylights out of him and then dropped me on his back while he was unconscious. Yes that is what I was referring to, I didn't even know about Aamori until you said something about her." she admitted. "And it is not funny. You know none of us would kick you in the side while you were injured. I don't know how you treat your buddies back home, but somehow...I doubt it would be quite that roughly." She set her hands on the table again and eyed him, "I've treated you no differently than I would anyone else. Now what I want to know is so you treat everyone this way...or is it just because we're not from your clan?" she asked bluntly. About the time she asked her ears twitched and she looked over to see Minako head downstairs. "What the?" she started when she heard the growl coming from the stairs. she straightened up a little and then nearly dove behind Nero when the huge fox came upstairs, latching onto his shoulders for a moment. As soon as the creature was seated she released him and sighed heavily in relief. "...What...is that?" she asked, staring at it in mild wonderment.

Nanashi sighed softly and shook his head when he heard her answer. "...Are you alright?" he asked softly, "...Um...i-if you need any help..." he started and then thought a little better of offering to go in. "...Um...I...can go get someone..." he said softly, "Unless you're decent." he added.

Yotsy 05-10-2008 03:39 AM

Aamori nodded slightly. "I'm well aware." She said simply before. "Believe it or not, I do know a little when it comes to taking care of wounds... Just not so much my own..." She mumbled remembering again that she'd originally wanted to study healing full time and was forced to stop once she was recognised as an Elder to be. "...Anyway, don't worry about me." She paused. "I'll be alright, I've just got to get used to the pain first..."

Nero leaned forward, resting his arms to the table as he looked right back at Hikari. "Truth be told, I don't much like having to help you all. I'd rather be surrounded by my own clan, but I'm sure somewhere in the back of everyone's mind they're thinking the same thing." He muttered just before sitting back again. "As for Kyran, I kicked him. Yes, to see if he was moving or not. Unfortunately I kicked him just a little too hard." He paused. "As for you little lady, a moron doesn't know any better. You said you wanted down, so I put you down." He crossed his arms over his chest for no real reason, merely because that's usually where he always had them. "Lastly, I do treat everyone this way... At first." Of course he alluded to the fact that they all had to earn his trust and respect before he'd act any differently towards them. Though, he also had a habit of showing his considerate side to those who were injured while in his company. He sighed just as he noticed Minako had come into the room and then into the basement. He didn't budge even when he heard the growling coming from below. Though he did turn his head slightly when he saw how quickly Hikari hid behind him. He shook his head laughing again softly. He let his eyes trail back over to the creature and he quirked a brow. He too was a little curious to know what that was.

Minako held Nobu down for as long as she could before he jerked away from her and rushed over to Nero and Hikari. He thrust his head into Nero's lap and laid it there for a moment, much the way a dog would while wanting to be petted. He left his head there until Nero lifted his hand to pet the creature's head softly; Roughing up the fur on his head. Nobu then moved over to Hikari for a moment sniffing her. He faintly picked up on the smell of Kyran and before you knew it he was bouncing all over the place yelping rather loudly before he took off running for the stairs. He was such a large creature that when he went to turn the corner to head towards the living room his back end slid across the floor and smacked into the wall with a loud thud before he managed to get into the living room and up the stairs. Nobu rushed all the way up the stairs rather clusmy and ignored Nanashi at the other end of the hall and dove into Kyran's room and onto the bed. Minako sighed softly and shook her head when she saw Nobu run off. "...That is Nobu. He's... our pet, I guess you could say. I don't recall where we got him, but he's practically half dog and half fox..." She paused looking over at Hikari and Nero. "...Nobu is special though, he can run just as fast as Kyran, if not a little faster." She smiled softly. "And right now, it's apparent that he's smelt Kyran and has gone to see him. It's been a couple months since they've seen each other." She turned and shut the basement door before walking over to the sink and peering out the window. Then she remembered something. "Oh! That's right... Kyran said he was hungry.." She said as she dug around in the cabinet for a bowl; She'd planned on reheating what LaRae had cooked last night and giving that to him.

Kyran's eyes quickly went towards the door when he heard the thud down stairs followed by the commotion coming up the stairs. He was all too sure that Nobu was headed for his room. He reached for the blanket and pulled it up over his burn to protect it. He didn't want to take a chance of his friend's claws cutting open the burn or scratching it. He braced for impact when Nobu shot into the room and dove onto the bed. Nobu wasted very little time getting into Kyran's lap and curling up slightly waiting for attention. Kyran smiled softly and reached out placing his hand to Nobu's head and petting him. "...It's been awhile Nobu..." He said softly.

LaRae glanced over her shoulder towards the door when she heard what he said. She smiled slightly. "I'm alright Nanashi." She paused. "Thank you though, for offering to help. But I think I'll be fine on my own." She finished before sitting up on her knees again and reaching for her shirt and slipping it on. She had been near the sink so she reached for the edge of it and used it to get to her feet. Making sure to put all of her weight on her good foot until she was standing again. She kept her other leg bent slightly and avoided applying any pressure what so ever while she struggled to get her bottoms back on. After a few more minutes of struggling she managed to get her pants on; She pulled them up and buttoned them. She then turned and leaned against the sink while she started to slip her leather arm bands back on. "...I'm dressed now Nanashi..." She said as she started to buckle the leather bands to her arms. She gently pushed herself from the sink and started to head towards the door, trying to balance on the one foot. She stopped nearly dead in her tracks when she heard the commotion outside of the door. What in the world was making all that noise coming up the stairs? She was slightly startled by the noise and lost her balance again; She fell backwards and landed on her butt.

Cyndel 05-10-2008 04:42 AM

Celestine nodded slightly. "Yeah." he said simply. His ears twitched slightly when he heard the racket inside the house. He blinked and then turned around to look at the wall behind them. "...Do I even want to know?" he muttered as he stood up and walked to the nearest window to peek inside. All he saw was a huge purple blob go flying up the steps. "...???"

Hikari smiled slightly when Nobu came over to put his head on Nero's lap. "Aww..." she said with a soft sigh as she reached over Nero's shoulder to touch his ear. When he came around to sniff her and then started jumping all over the place she jerked back quickly and then watched him take a run for the stairs. "Oh...I...see." she said slowly as she stared after the large animal. "Well...he's very cute." she said with a soft giggle. "Don't you think?" she asked, elbowing Nero lightly on the shoulder...partially for laughing at her when she ran around behind him.

Nanashi nodded when LaRae said that she was dressed and started to reach for the door handle. he stopped quickly when he heard something clambering up the stairs and spun around, his eyes widening when he saw the huge...whatever it was come into view. He gasped when he saw it run into Kyran's room and then took off. "LaRae, hold on!" he said quickly as he hurried down the hallway, skidding to a spot in front of Kyran's door and looking in. He stood there for a moment with that wide-eyed stare on his face, looking worried until he realized that it was just laying in his lap. "...Wh...what is that?" he asked quietly, timidly taking one step into the room.

Yotsy 05-10-2008 05:28 AM

Aamori had been about to say something else but was cut off by the racket she heard coming from inside. She glanced over at Celestine when he stood and headed for a window. She started to get to her feet to follow after him. "...W-what was with all that noise?" She asked quietly half thinking it might have something to do with Nero.

Nero just watched as the massive creature took off towards the stairs. He shook his head softly thinking about how clumsy that thing was when it was in a hurry. Though when he heard Minako say that it could move faster then Kyran he quirked a brow slightly wondering how that was even possible. He'd never seen such a creature before, or known of one capable of such a feat. He looked up at Hikari when she elbowed him. "...Y-yeah...." He paused. "...cute..." He muttered, otherwise he was quite speechless.

Minako had found a bowl and started to reheat the food in the pot. She glanced over at Hikari and smiled softly. "Nobu is cute, well... once you get past the fact that he's strange." She leaned against the edge of the counter while she waited on the food. "It's been a few months since Nobu has been allowed out of the basement, which is why he's so rambunctious." She smiled softly. "He's only allowed out when Kyran's here... Nobu is actually Kyran's pet. He found him, a few years ago and has been raising him." She paused to stir the pot for a moment. "There aren't very many creatures like Nobu, so they're hunted frequently. Kyran saved him from a pack of hunters. Though, on the other hand... There are also a lot of people who are afraid of them and can't control them... Kyran just so happens to be able to control him. Which is why he doesn't come out unless he's here." The contents of the pot finally heated enough to eat. She smiled softly and started to fill the bowl. "Nobu is also good at being a messenger. Once he's done seeing Kyran I'm sending him to bring our Uncle back here. Our Uncle is a Doctor." She finally stopped talking and set the filled bowl down on the counter and went to get a glass to fill with water. Once she finished with that she set the glass down next to the bowl and started looking around for one of their wooden trays to carry that all upstairs to her brother.

Kyran continued to pet Nobu even when he noticed Nanashi at his door. He laughed softly seeing the look on his face. "It's alright Nanashi." He said simply. "This is Nobu. My... dog?" He wasn't quite sure what to call Nobu. He was part fox, part dog and part speedy creature. "He's a bit clumsy, but I blame that on his lack of eyes..." He turned his eyes back down to Nobu and just smiled softly as he moved his hand to tug at the creatures ear. "Nobu, I'm sure that Minako has a job for you.." He said before removing his hands from the creature. Nobu merely whined softly and rolled over onto his back with his massive paws extended in the air, followed by his three tails wagging all over the place. He clearly still acted like a puppy; Though that could probably be blamed on the fact that Kyran babied him.

LaRae just sat on the floor staring at the door with quirked brow. "Umm... Okay... I'll be here..." She in response to what Nanashi said. Of course she was curious to know what that noise was so she didn't stay where she was for very long. She'd already managed to get back onto her knees and had started to climb back to her feet while reaching for the door knob.

Celestine looked back to Aamori for a moment and raised an eyebrow. "I...have no idea... something big just went running up the stairs." he told her. "...Come on, let's go see what the heck is going on." he said as he started to move around the house. He wasn't quite sure what to expect to find.

Hikari sighed softly and finally moved back around Nero, standing in front of him again as she looked at Minako. "...I can take it up to him if you'd like." she told her, "I meant to go check on him, anyway. I guess now is a good time since he is awake." She glanced back to Nero for a moment, "That is, if you don't mind, Nero." she added with a half smile, though she was certain that he'd be overjoyed to be rid of her by now. She was a bit curious to see that...Nobu again as well. She wondered how he could see...maybe it found it's way around be feeling things. Already her curious nature was kicking in and taking over.

Nanashi looked at Nobu for a few moments and then smiled weakly when he rolled over. "Oh...I see..." he said softly and then sighed. "He scared me... I didn't know you were up." He admitted in that shy quiet tone. "...I'm glad...you look a bit better." he added before glancing back to the hallway. He looked toward the bathroom door and then backed up. "...Um...I need to go see if LaRae's alright.. She twisted her ankle again." he said quietly before turning and hurrying form the room like a mouse scurrying back to it's hole. He got back to the door again and opened it just as LaRae was reaching for it, and probably smacked her hand with it. "Oh...s-sorry." he said quickly. "U-um...it was just Kyran's...pet." He told her since he was pretty sure that she was curious.

Aamori moved over closer to Celestine and nodded slightly when he said they should go see what was going on. She didn't say anything but she was curious to know what the big thing was that he saw.

Nero finally just gave up trying to understand the mechanics of that creature and just accepted that it was, what it was. He sighed lightly and glanced over at Hikari and then looked away. "...Of course I don't mind... I'm not your keeper." He muttered as he reached for the glass of water that he had yet to drink. He happened to look down in one of the other chairs as he took his glass and noticed a wooden tray; Which he thought was what Minako was looking for. He set the glass down and grabbed the tray instead and held it out so the girl could see it.

Minako rummaged around in a few different areas looking for one of the wooden trays, just about to give up when she noticed the one Nero was holding out. She smiled faintly and walked over to him to take it from him. "Thank you, Nero." She said quietly before turning to return to the counter. She placed the bowl and glass on the tray along with some silverware then looked up at Hikari. "I think Kyran would be happier if you took it upstairs to him." She said with a nod. "He started to say you're name when he woke-up. So I think he thought I was you." She smiled softly and walked over to the sink to wash her hands.

Kyran shook his head softly when Nobu rolled over onto his back. He ignored the pet for a moment and looked over at Nanashi. "I told you not to worry, I'm alright. But I completely understand being concerned with seeing Nobu." He paused and reached out to pet Nobu again. "He does look a little strange and not everyone has seen one of him before. I reassure you, he's no threat to any of us." He smiled softly and looked back at Nanashi when he mentioned LaRae being hurt again. "It looks like you've got your hands full with just her... No need to add me to that plate." He said with a soft laugh as he watched Nanashi leave.

LaRae jerked her hand back just as it was hit with the door; Since she'd been trying to stand up and use the door knob as leverage in process when he opened the door she fell back and lost her balance yet again. She quickly found herself sitting on the floor again; She gave a heavy sigh thinking it might be better to stay on the floor since she seemed to keep ending up there. She looked up at Nanashi when he apologised and then said Kyran had a pet. "...It's alright..." She said quietly as she tried to look around him into the hall. She didn't see anything so she assumed that what-ever it was must have been in the bedroom. "...Kyran has a pet?" She mumbled looking at Nanashi again. "What is it?"

Celestine didn't say another word as he went around to house and opened the front door, finally stepping foot inside the house for the first time. He glanced around for a few moments before hearing voices in the kitchen. He glanced back to Aamori for a moment before heading in that general direction, pausing when Hikari came out carrying a tray of food. "..."

Hikari gave Nero a funny look when he said that he wasn't her keeper. "No...but we were talking...sort of." she said and then shook her head. She looked back to Minako again and smiled weakly when she said that he'd started to say her name when he woke up. "He's probably just more used to waking up with me around right now." He didn't really want to admit that he usually woke up with her latched onto some part of him. She finally walked over to the tray and picked it up then turned to leave, heading for the stairs when she left the kitchen. She glanced to Aamori and Celestine for a moment and smiled. "Good morning, you two." she said brightly as she started up the steps. "Minako and Nero are in the kitchen." she told them as she climbed up. She made short work of getting upstairs and then headed straight for Kyran's room, smiling at him when she made it to the doorway.

Nanashi couldn't help but worry a little bit for Kyran since he was hurt. He knelt down in front of LaRae and nodded to confirm what he'd said about Kyran having a pet. "I...don't really know what it is." he admitted, "It kind of looks like a fox with three tails...but it acts more like a dog and has no eyes." He shook his head and shrugged then held out his hand to her. "Are you alright? How is your ankle?" he asked softly, looking down at her foot. "Come on, I'll help you up."

Aamori followed after Celestine when he headed for the door. Once inside again she couldn't help but get a little nervous; The last thing she wanted was to do something resulting in Nero hurting her again. When she saw Hikari she bit her lip lightly and forced her nerves to calm down. Her eyes followed after Hikari as she went up the stairs and then fell back towards the kitchen. She'd absently lifted her hand up to cover her arm; rubbing up and down gently.

Minako nodded softly when Hikari came over and took the tray. After Hikari left the room she glanced over at Nero, noticing that he'd been eyeing the bowl on the tray as Hikari left the room. She smiled softly and reached for another bowl, then filled it quickly before moving over to the table and setting it down in front of Nero along with some utensils. "There, go ahead and eat up." She turned and walked back over to the sink and leaned against the counter once again. "Ya' know, you don't have to stare... or go without. You could've asked or fixed it yourself."

Nero watched as Hikari left the room and gave a soft sigh. He was for lack of better words was glad that she was gone, now if he could just get Minako to leave the room too. He's attention was snagged when Minako walked over and set the bowl down in front of him. He was rather hungry, and apparently the girl could tell that by the way he looked at the food Hikari left with. He sighed again after hearing what she had to say and then proceeded to not say a word and eat the food set in front of him.

Kyran had been petting Nobu when he caught someone at the door again. He smiled when he saw that it was Hikari; Then noticed the tray she had in her hands. He glanced back down at Nobu who was currently sprawled out on the bed. He sighed softly and pushed his hand against Nobu's head in a motion to try and push him off the bed. Nobu of course pushed back thinking it was play time. Kyran shook his head and looked at Nobu with a more serious expression. "Nobu, down." He said rather sternly. Nobu reacted almost immediately and rolled over onto his feet and climbed down off the bed with his ears laid back. He laid down on the floor directly next to Kyran's bed with his head down on his front legs which were extended in front of him; One crossed gently over the other. Once Nobu was off the bed Kyran pushed himself up straight once again and looked back at Hikari, smiling again. "Good Morning."

LaRae quirked a brow at the description of Kyran's pet. She half wondered if Nanashi was pulling her leg because she'd never heard of anything quite like that. She reached out to take his hand and get to her feet. She sighed softly and nodded. "...I'm fine. My ankle will be alright. It's just sore again." She paused and glanced down at it, lifting her pant leg slightly. "...And now it's apparently swollen..." She dropped her pant leg and sighed again. "I swear I'm not usually this clumsy."

Celestine nodded to Hikari and then looked toward the kitchen again, finally walking in that general direction. He looked at the girl who he supposed was Minako and then to Nero. "...What was that thing that went charging upstairs?" he asked, his eyes on Nero. He was apparently directing the question to him since he didn't know who the other girl was really and had yet to speak to her. He looked at the food for a moment and then glanced back to Aamori. Well at least maybe now she would actually eat something since there was more to go around.

Hikari smiled at Kyran as she walked over to the bed, waiting for Nobu to get down before coming closer. "Good morning to you." she said softly as she went around the bed to sit down on the other side, opposite from Nobu. "Here." she said as she handed the tray over, sitting it in his lap more than putting it in his hands. "How are you feeling?" she asked softly as she leaned over to give him a one-armed hug. "You had me worried last night."

Nanashi stood and pulled LaRae to her feet as well then wrapped one arm around her. "...You need to just stay off of it for a while and put it up." he said quietly when she told him that her ankle was swollen. He just smiled at her comment about not usually being this clumsy. "It's alright...it happens." he said softly as he started to lead her back toward the room they'd used.
