LaRae was about to answer him on whether or not she thought she could walk but she shut her mouth when he picked her up anyway. She was going to tell him that she couldn't, her whole body was a little numb from the pain still; So walking would have been difficult. She gave a small nod and then rested her head against him when he told her to just rest. She lifted her head for a moment when she heard him ask if she could fix the trees. She hadn't really been paying attention but now that he pointed them out she was a little confused. "...Did I do that to them?" She asked quietly. Obviously she couldn't remember that she'd done that to the trees. After thinking about it for a moment she must have, she didn't know any other person around here that could do that to the trees and still have them be alive. She sighed heavily. She felt bad for the trees. "...They won't be perfect..." She mumbled quietly before fidgeting her way out of his arms and down onto the ground. She set her hands against the dirt below her and shut her eyes; It didn't take long for her hand to emit it's usual aura. Considering the amount of trees she'd have to use more energy then normal. She gave a soft sigh and both of her arms started to glow; The glow then started to fade down to her fingers as if she was pushing it out of her body and into the ground. The trees reacted almost immediately and they started to straighten up for the most part. Of course a few of them still had strange bends in them but for now they were all at least pointed up and in the same direction. She gave another small sigh once she pulled her hands back and set them in her lap. She took a moment and looked at the trees again. "...There..." She said quietly. "...That's the best I can do..." She said lastly before having to throw her hands out in front of her to keep herself from collapsing to the ground.
|
Nanashi blinked when LaRae got away from him and knelt down. "LaRae..." He started and then sighed when he saw her arms start to glow. He started to stop her but then just let her go. Apparently she wanted to heal the trees so he let her. He sighed once she said that was the best that she could do and knelt by her again. "..You did, good." he said quietly as he wrapped his arms around her middle and pulled her back to rest against him. "...You know I was just kidding, right?" he said with a weak smile. He sighed and nuzzled her again before pulling her back into his arms and standing up again. He just continued in the direction that he'd been going before, following the dirt trail that she'd left in her wake.
|
LaRae gave a small sigh and then smiled faintly hearing that she did good. She'd never admit it but she didn't hear that all too often. She looked at him for a moment and then back at the trees. "...Even so, I couldn't leave them like that..." She said quietly. It made her feel a little better being able to partially fix something she screwed up because of her marking. Half of the time when she'd come to again there wouldn't be anything left, so she was happy to fix it. When he picked her up again she rested her head against him. "...I can't remember much of anything..." She said quietly. "...What happened?" She asked, almost afraid to hear an answer to that question.
|
Nanashi looked down to LaRae and smiled slightly at her, giving her a little squeeze. When she asked what happened he sighed softly and shook his head. "...I ran after you when you left... I was calling oyu but you didn't seem to be able to hear me... I caught you and turned you around...your eyes were just..glazed over. You couldn't see me... so I just tried to let you know i was there by holding oyu. It was working a little...you said my name at least." He sighed, "...Then Renzo stepped in..." he said a little reluctantly. "I kept trying...I used the eye to talk to you in your mind, but...then he took over." He didn't go into detail about that, she didn't really need to know or worry. "...We exchanged words and he left." he said simply. "That's about it...nothing bad happened. No one was hurt at all." he assured her with a soft smile.
|
LaRae gave a very slight nod once she heard all of what Nanashi said. It was a little weird being able to hear a little of what had gone on. After all she couldn't or see a thing. Whenever she was like that she felt like she was locked inside her head unable to get out. Then when she'd come to afterwards the aftermath of her destruction was enough to baffle her; She always wondered how she couldn't remember any of it and yet she could feel some things. She had known that there was someone else there, she could tell by the way the two of them touched her. But she had only been able to identify Nanashi. She gave a sigh having heard the other that was there was Renzo. She wasn't all that surprised to hear that. She gathered from his lack of detail concerning Renzo that something must have happened that she wouldn't have liked to hear. She fidgeted with her hands absently and didn't make eye contact. "...You don't have to tell me the details of what happened with Renzo... But I do have one question, if you don't mind answering it for me." She said quietly. "...I felt it..." She paused a little hesitant to ask. "...Who kissed me...?"
|
Nanashi sighed softly, looking a little relieved that she didn't ask about what'd happened. When she asked about the kiss he glanced back to her. "...Which time?" he asked with a weak smile. "...I snuck one on your cheek..." he said softly and then glanced away from her as if a little embarrassed. It took him a moment to decide to speak again. "...Renzo was the one that kissed you." He said quietly. He would have liked for it to be him, but he was a little wiser than to go quite that far in front of Renzo. "I'm not quite that bold, I'm afraid..."
|
LaRae was quiet and continued to fidget with her hands, at least until she heard that he'd kissed her cheek. She smiled softly and glanced back at him for a moment. Though she looked away again almost immediately when he started to speak again. Her eyes widened slightly when she heard him say that it was Renzo. She sighed heavily and continued to look everywhere but at him. "...Oh..." She said quietly in a rather saddened tone. That definitely wasn't the answer that she was hoping for.
|
Nanashi glanced back to LaRae for a moment and smiled weakly. "...Not that I didn't want to." he said softly before glancing away again shyly. "...But I wasn't sure how good of an idea that would have been with him standing right there...you know..." he said softly. He sighed softly and shifted her weight a bit, holding her up a little higher before nuzzling his head against hers again. "Besides... I've never actually kissed a girl before." LaRae had of coursed kissed him that time, but he'd never actually tried to kills someone before like that. He was pretty sure he'd get slapped if he tried...or had been. Her tone told him otherwise. He looked back to her shyly and then glanced away. He wanted to do it now, but he couldn't. A few moments later, he looked up again to find then getting close to the clearing. He could already see Hikari through the trees.
|
LaRae brought her eyes up a little to look at him while he spoke, glancing away every time he'd look at her. Hearing all that he had said made her smile softly. When he nuzzled against her head she couldn't help but purr softly. "...It's alright..." She said quietly. She would have liked it to have been him over Renzo but it was done now. She lifted her eyes and glanced ahead of them. By the looks of it she hadn't made it all the far away from the others. It was a good thing that the mark was put back into hibernation; Otherwise there soon a good chance that the aftermath may have reached them. She shut her eyes gently and laid her head right back down against him.
|
Nanashi smiled slightly when he heard LaRae purring against him. He just held her a bit closer and continued walking until he got to the clearing again. He glanced around briefly and then went to go sit under the tree where they had been before Renzo's pet showed up. He sighed softly, keeping her in his lap even when he sat down. He just leaned his back against the tree and closed his eyes.
Celestine glanced over when Nanashi came back carrying LaRae and sighed softly. "..." Well so much for that. he thought when he saw her. Apparently she was coming with them anyway. He didn't bother to say anything. She was breathing and wasn't bleeding so she must be alright. Hikari looked up when Nanashi came back and sat up a little from Kyran to look at them. "Nanashi is she alright!?" she asked quickly. "Yeah...she just wore herself out." He said calmly without opening his eyes. "Everything is fine." |
LaRae didn't say another word, even when they came upon the clearing. She shut her eyes immediately when he carried her in and over to the tree. After everything that had happened she didn't want to face any of the others just yet. She was a little surprised that Nanashi hadn't set her down in the grass; Rather he let her stay in his lap. She gave a soft smile and nuzzled against him. "...Thank you..." She said quietly, almost in a whisper.
Kyran looked up when Hikari sat up and gently removed his arm from around her. He glanced over at Nanashi when he saw him carry LaRae in and sit down. He sighed softly hearing what Nanashi said in response to Hikari's question. At least she was alright. He half wondered what had gone on but he wasn't going to ask. Aamori glanced over at Nanashi when she heard them come back into the clearing. She focused on LaRae for a moment and smiled weakly. She was glad that he was able to bring her back. She preferred having LaRae with them, after all she worked well with LaRae when everything came down to it. She turned back around and laid down on the ground. |
Hikari sighed softly and sat back against Kyran again. She was satisfied enough with that answer and she was glad that he'd been able to get her to come back. At least she seemed calmer now and pretty content with where he put her. she smiled slightly and closed her own eyes. "Good..." She said quietly.
Nanashi smiled slightly to LaRae and nodded gently. "...Don't mention it." he said softly. He just wrapped his arms around her a little more and sighed softly as he shifted to get a little more comfortable. Celestine sighed quietly, cosing his eyes for a moment. He hoped that at least everyone else was satisfied with LaRae's return. "...Alright, get some sleep, people..." he said in that same monotone voice. He opened his eyes again and continued to look up at the stars. He still had a decision to make. Should he go through his home village with that girl or bypass it and just look for the forest on his own? It would be faster to get directions, but he wasn't sure he was willing to risk his people to save a few days. He knew one thing...either way he wasn't going to be getting much sleep tonight. |
LaRae cracked her eyes open briefly and moved a bit when he shifted a little and then snuggled right back against him again. She smiled a slightly and shut her eyes. It didn't take all that long for her to fall back asleep once she relaxed.
Kyran sighed softly and then looked down at Hikari when she leaned against him again. He smiled a little and gently brought his arm back up to wrap around her again before shutting his own eyes. Aamori turned slightly when she heard Celestine tell them to get some sleep. Had she decided to not talk to him for the rest of the night might have said something smart to him. Instead she turned back around and laid back on the grass. After a moment she extended one of her wings and pulled it over her as she rolled onto her side and curled up. Nero of course hadn't move an inch since he sat down beside the tree. He didn't even bother opening his eyes when Nanashi and LaRae had come back into the area. He just continued to sit there. He probably looked like he was asleep but he wasn't. He was still a little concerned with having someone behind them; Even if they weren't a threat at the moment. He gave a small sigh, followed by him trying to stifle a yawn. He was rather tired but had no intention of falling asleep. |
It didn't take Nanashi long to fall asleep either. He was pretty tired form walking all day and once relief sat in on him now that LaRae was back he just felt drained. He didn't care to have quite this much excitement going all in one day. It was pretty tiring.
Hikari was asleep not too long after Kyran put his arm around her again. She snuggled up against him and sighed softly before she fell asleep. honestly she liked this a lot better than just curling up on the ground. She wrapped her tail around herself and then relaxed and drifted off. Celestine looked down after a little while to check around and make sure everyone was at least trying to rest. He then turned his eyes back tot he sky again and sighed softly. His eyes remained open as he stared up through the leaves. He didn't even start to doze off until the wee hours of the morning just before dawn. |
Kyran slept decently through the night. He definitely preferred sleeping laying down, but the way he slept this night was nice. When morning had started to roll around he finally opened his eyes. He didn't move much at all hoping not to disturb Hikari. He carefully lifted up his free hand and gently rubbed his eyes. He then set his hand back down and glanced over at Hikari with a faint smile.
Aamori through the course of the night had pretty much rolled all over the place. She had a rough night to say the least. When the sun hit her face it didn't take long for her to wake. Though she rather quickly rolled over onto her stomach and buried her face in her arms to block out the light while grumbling to herself quietly about it being morning already. LaRae hadn't move much at all in her sleep; Though that was due to how worn out she'd been. She was still snuggled against Nanashi and would probably stay that way if she wasn't disturbed. Nero had kept himself away throughout a decent part of the night. Though his body got the better of him and he ended up falling asleep easily enough. He hadn't slept well the night before either so this was well deserved sleep and easily he could sleep for a while longer. The fact that morning had already come hadn't bothered him too much for once; He absently tilted his head down so that his hair could block out some of the light and continued sleeping. |
Hikari woke up fairly early in the morning. She was still laying against Kyran with her eyes closed and her arms wrapped around his middle now, but she was awake. She opened her eyes when she heard Aamori grumbling and then turned her head to look up at Kyran, returning his slight smile. "...Morning, Kyran." she said softly, nuzzling him with her head again before sitting up a bit.
Nanashi was still sitting against the tree, but he'd already woken up fairly early. He looked down to LaRae and smiled slightly, combing his fingers over her hair lightly. He didn't move a lot, not wanting to disturb her and wake her up. He knew she was tired so he didn't want to wake her until they were ready to move...or for all he cared he could carry her until she woke up. Celestine was still sitting in the tree where he'd been the night before, though he was fast asleep by now. His head was laying over on his shoulder and one leg was hanging from the branch while the other was drawn up, resting on the branch. One arm was handing off of the side and the other was draped across his lap as his tail hung limply from the opposite side of the branch from his leg. He hadn't been asleep for more than half an hour by the time the others were waking up, and it kind of showed. He looked like he'd just passed out of there without trying to go to sleep and half looked like he may fall right off the branch and not even notice. |
Kyran hadn't even noticed that Hikari was wake, at least until she started to move. He smiled a bit more warmly. "Good morning." He paused. "How did you sleep?" He asked quietly as he gave her a slight squeeze before taking his arm back and setting his hands in his lap.
Aamori continued to lay on her stomach with her head buried in her arms for a while before she slowly brought her eyes up just past her arms so she could glance around a little. Of course one of the first places she looked was at Celestine. She couldn't help but chuckle a little at how he was asleep. It was obvious that he hadn't intentionally gone to sleep. She only hoped he wasn't going to slip right off that branch. Though, if he did; It was his fault for sleeping in the tree to begin with. LaRae stirred very slightly having barely felt his fingers at her hair. It wasn't enough to wake her; With how tired she was it would take a hell of a lot to wake her up at this point. But that was usual, she didn't wake easy on a normal day either. She absently lifted her hand a little while sleeping and took hold of his coat; Tugging on it lightly. After a moment her hand loosened slightly and she stopped moving again. |
Hikari smiled at Kyran and raised her hand to push back through her hair. "I slept very well." she told him lightly. "...How about you?" she asked, tilting her head slightly. She glanced around briefly while she waited for an answer just to see who all was up. She glanced to the tree and half smiled when she saw the way that Celestine was sleeping. "...Well...looks like he finally passed out..." she said softly. When she'd first woken up a little before dawn and looked at him, he was still awake, then she closed her eyes again and dozed off. "...I think he stayed up all night... he was still awake when I first woke up the first time..."
Nanashi looked down to LaRae when she grasped his coat and smiled slightly, tightening his grip on her slightly to reassure her that he was still there. He leaned his head down against hers and closed his eyes for a moment and then raised his head again. He glanced at Celestine, half wondering how long it was going to be before he woke up, though when he heard Hikari say that he'd probably been up all night he shook his head slightly. It was probably going to be a while then. |
Kyran had taken a moment to glance around at the others finally; Seeing who was awake and who was asleep. He looked back down to Hikari and smiled. "I'm glad you slept well." He paused. "I slept pretty decently myself." He answered quietly before looking back over towards Celestine since she'd mentioned him. He merely shook his head lightly. "...It doesn't surprise me that he'd stay up all night... Considering how uneasy he's been with even being here." He paused and shrugged lightly. "We can probably let him sleep until he wakes up. If I remember correctly he said we weren't too far off from his first destination. So if he still intends on going home then it shouldn't be too much a problem to just let him sleep." He paused. "Though, if he still wants to change course then I fear he might be angry if we let him sleep too long." He commented quietly.
Aamori finally pushed herself up into a seated position and began running her fingers through her hair to untangle it. Since she'd slept so roughly her hair was quite the mess. She tensed up briefly every time her fingers hit a tangle; She had a sensitive head when it came to her hair. So many times had she complained about it and wanted to chop it all off but her mother always argued about it; Saying she'd regret cutting it off. She gave a small sigh being reminded of her mother. They were rather close and being away from home this long was starting to bother her. |
Hikari nodded slightly to Kyran. "Yes, I guess so..." she said softly. "Hmm... poor Kid I almost feel sorry for him. I don't think he knows what he wants to do." she said quietly. "He seems like he wants to go back but at the same time he doesn't. I wonder if he was just using LaRae for an excuse to avoid the place or if he really distrusts her that much..." she shook her head. "Oh well, guess it doesn't really matter either way... I think too much into things." She stretched out a little and sighed. "...But I am interested to see what the towns here are like...I've never been through here before."
Nanashi just continued to gently comb his fingers through LaRae's hair absently. He was just waiting for the crew to wake up and tell him to get moving. He watched Aamori try to untangle her hair and smiled slightly. "...Having trouble?" he asked softly after she sighed. He really wasn't one to talk, his hair was completely unmanageable. It just went wherever it felt like going and he didn't fight with it. As long as he could see where he was going he was fine. |
Kyran gave a soft sigh and glanced back over in Celestine's direction for a moment. "I have to agree, I don't think he knows what he wants to do either." He paused. "He said he needed directions, so I assume thats the only reason why he 'wants' to go back." He then looked over in LaRae's direction and gave another small sigh before looking back at Hikari. "It may not matter but I think I'd like to know what makes him distrust her; Just out of my own curiosity." He commented quietly. "...As for the towns here, I've been through her once before but it was a couple years ago. I don't remember too much of the area, or the towns." He said with a slight shrug. His job had taken him into each of the territories at least once, but he never really payed too much attention to the area around him when he was there because of work.
Aamori hadn't made very much leeway with her hair; It was still terribly tangled. She sighed heavily, just barely lifting her eyes to look over at Nanashi. "...Just a little..." She said spitefully. One day she'd get her way and chop the lot of it off. She'd more then likely cut it as short as Minako's hair was if not shorter just to keep from having to do the daily maintenance on it. She finally gave up and threw her hands down in her lap. She heaved another heavy sigh and focused a bit more on everything but her hair and memories of her mother. "...So how is she?" She asked as her eyes fell on LaRae momentarily. LaRae was still asleep, and rather comfortable too. Her ears twitched slightly at the sounds of people talking. She tried to ignore it as best she could; She may be a heavy sleeper but something like people talking for any amount of time could eventually annoy her into walking up. She pressed her head against Nanashi a little more and her hand tightened slightly on his coat while she tried to ignore them. |
Hikari nodded slightly. "...Yes...I suppose that would be good to know... But I somehow doubt that he would tell anyone that asked... When he and LaRae got into an argument the other day she mentioned something about when he got knocked out back in your territory and he said that it was because of 'her kind' that he tended to pass out easy... I don't know, really...maybe it has something to do with that scar on his forehead... I saw it when I was checking him to see why he fainted."
Nanashi's smile faded a bit when Aamori responded to his question in that tone. He then looked down to LaRae and shrugged slightly. "...She is still sleeping soundly..." He said and then chuckled softly when she latched onto his coat again. "...Or trying at least..." he said more quietly. Suddenly out of the brush a small furry creature came bounding into the clearing, making a tiny jingling sound as it moved. The tiny animal was in the very least strange to behold. Its head was like that of a cat with long ears that stood straight up, similar to a rabbit's ears. Its hinged legs were fairly long and looked like they were build for jumping, almost like a rabbit, but not quite. Three bushy tails more like a fox swished behind it as he bounded toward the tree that Celestine was in. Its long fur was a light shade of gray-blue, though the pits of it's ears, pays, and it's two outermost tails were tipped with a darker blue while the middle tail was colored darker blue at the base where it connected. The little creature was fairly tiny, no bigger than a full grown rabbit itself. It stopped below the tree where Celestine was and pointed its nose to the air, sniffing rapidly before diving at the tree and scampering up. It pounced into Celestine's lap and looked up at his face with those big golden eyes and mewed softly before hopping up and licking his nose. Celestine startled violently when the little thing jumped in his lap and his eyes snapped open. He almost slipped off of the branch but caught himself with his claws int he bark of the trunk. He stared at the little fur ball until it licked his nose and then reached up to pick it up and stare at it. The little thing started to purr rapidly and try to lick his fingers. He blinked when he saw a tiny golden bell attached to a light blue ribbon. "...Kyiri?" he said a bit unsurely. The little creature 'mewed' again and tried to lick his nose again. He almost smiled and then pulled the little fur ball closer, stroking her back gently. "Hey there..." |
Kyran looked back to Hikari and merely quirked a brow slightly at what she was saying. He hadn't heard any specifics on the argument between LaRae and Celestine until now and even now he didn't gather too much from what he was told; Though that could be blamed on the lack of detail. He gave a soft sigh. "I see." He said quietly. "Well, if anything we know now that he passes out easily. Which is useful information I suppose. I am still interested to know the specifics but I do believe you're right yet again. I don't see him telling anyone." He paused for a moment changing topics slightly in his mind when he caught sight of the small creature that came into the area and went straight for Celestine. Now that it was morning and the appropriate amount of time had passed he wondered when Nobu would be getting back. It should be any time now, at least he hoped. The last thing he wanted to think was that something bad had happened to him since that other canine was in the area. He heaved a heavy sigh and lowered his eyes slightly.
Aamori had looked at Nanashi and caught him smile fade; She immediately started to look extremely nervous and apologetic. "...I-I didn't mean for my tone to be directed at you." She said quickly. "I just completely hate my hair. I'm sorry." She said lightly. She started to stand up and adjust her skort a bit. She looked back over to LaRae for a moment when she heard him say that she was trying to sleep. She hadn't really paid any attention to it, but she wasn't exactly trying to be quiet. "..Oh...erm... I'll be a little quieter then..." She said quietly. Her eyes rather quickly shifted when something small and furry came barreling into the area and straight for Celestine. She at first was a little alarmed but she relaxed rather fast at the sight of the creature. It was so cute. Something that cute couldn't possibly be dangerous could it? She merely stood where she was, staring over at Celestine and the small creature with her head tilted to the side slightly once it woke him up. She was curious but wasn't so sure she wanted to over and inquire about the creature. LaRae by now was having even more trouble then before with staying asleep. She'd been able to focus on one rather loud voice inparticular; Aamori's. Her voice stuck out like a sore thumb because she was actually used to being woken by her friend. She absently tightened her grip on Nanashi's coat once again before releasing it all together. Moments later her eyes cracked open and then shut immediately when the light hit them. Of course now it would be near impossible for her to fall back asleep easily; That damn sun had flooded her eyes, even though they'd only cracked open. She gave a small sigh and finally just opened her eyes all together, then brought her hand up to rub the sleep from her eyes gently all the while grumbling to herself silently. |
Hikari nodded slightly to Kyran in response to his comment about Celestine. That was true enough, knowing that he passed out easily was a good piece of information to have. Once she noticed the little critter come scampering into the clearing she smiled. "Oh my! That is so cute!!" she exclaimed and then looked over to Kyran. She was waiting for a response but when she saw his expression and then glanced back to the creature, looking at it a little closer she realized what he was thinking about. The three tails gave it away. She looked back to Kyran again and gently placed her hand on his shoulder. "...Kyran...I'm sure Nobu is fine..." she said softly. "...Where did you send him, anyway? I hadn't even noticed he'd gone until that other one showed up..."
Nanashi looked back to Aamori again and smiled weakly again. "It's alright..." he said quietly, accepting her apology. "...I like your hair...it's lovely. I can imagine it's hard to manage, though..." he said quietly. He was starting to be a little more adventurous and try talking to someone besides LaRae. He guessed Aamori was a good place to start being LaRae's friend and all. His ear twitched slightly when he heard he jingling of the bell and looked up to see the little animal run to Celestine. He blinked and then smiled; that thing was so cute whatever it was. It kind of reminded him of a kitten the way it meowed. When LaRae moved her hand to her eyes he looked back down to her again and laid his ears back slightly. "Oh...sorry I didn't mean to wake you up..." he said quietly. Celestine chuckled softly as the little kittenish creature tried again and again to get to him to lick him. Apparently she'd missed him. He then realized that the wind was blowing toward the village so she could probably smell him when she came outside. He seemed to be enjoying the animal's company until he heard something else in the woods. "Kyiri!! Kyiiiiiiriiiiiiiiiii!! Come back here you crazy animal!!" a voice called from not too far away. Celestine's ears perked and he looked toward the sound quickly with wide eyes, almost as if he recognized the voice. He quickly sat the little animal down and shooed her away. "Go on! Go!" He said quietly as he urged her away. Kyiri looked back to Celestine for a moment when he sat her down and the mewed again. Her ears were perked as well as if she heard the voice too but she seemed to be ignoring it until Celestine told her to go. Her ears laid back and she meowed almost pitifully before hopping off of the branch and bounding toward where she cave from again. She hardly seemed to be paying any mind to any of the others, though she did make it a point not to go anywhere near any of them. |
Kyran lifted his eyes but didn't focus on anything inparticular. "...Was it really that obvious what was bothering me?" He asked quietly, though not looking for answer. He briefly glanced over to Hikari and then looked away. He was actually a little hesitant to tell her what he sent Nobu to retrieve. Especially after what they had gone through to get it, now he was forgetting it like it meant nothing. He sighed and stared down at the ground. "...I sent him..." He paused. "Back home... for the relic." He said quietly. The part that worried him the most now that he thought about it was that Nobu would be bringing the relic back and he had no idea what it was capable of. He also worried about anyone running into Nobu and deciding they wanted the relic. Sure Nobu was strong enough to take care of himself but he still worried about him. Especially should he run into that other canine.
Aamori looked back over to Nanashi when he spoke and mentioned that her hair was lovely. She barely smiled, just because she hated her hair so much. "...Thanks." She paused. "You and my mother both." She commented quietly. Her attention again shifted back to the small creature that was with Celestine, though this time she was noticing that it was leaving much in the same manor it arrived. She glanced back up at Celestine for a moment after the creature was gone, but didn't say a word. Then she turned back around and reached for her sandals before slipping them back on and lacing them up her calf once again. LaRae moved her hand from her face and set it back down before looking up at Nanashi, having heard him apologize. She shook her head slightly. "...It wasn't you who woke me up." She said sounding still a bit sleepy. She was still comfortable where she was and didn't bother moving, though if he asked her to get off of him; She would. "...Lets just say that a particular water dragons voice has become like an alarm clock to me." She said quietly stifling a soft chuckle. Nero believe it or not was still asleep under the tree he'd sat down at the night before. He'd managed to block out pretty much everything that was going on around him, in hopes of catching up on some good sleep. |
