Hikari sighed softly at his first comment. "I hope so." she said softly. She hoped that he would be better since he'd finally let something out. Her ears fell back slightly when he told her about Marius and she nodded once sympathetically. She followed his face with her eyes when he started to back up. "Alright. Good night." she said quietly, preparing to follow him out herself. She took a couple of steps after him and then stopped when she caught sight of his back. Of course the noticed the scars right away. "Nero..." she called after him quietly, her voice sounding a little concerned. Her ears laid back again and she looked worriedly at him for a moment. They may have just been scars but she was still rather concerned about how he got them. "...What...happened to your back?" she finally asked, slowly finishing her short walk to the doorway.

Yotsy 08-27-2008 10:00 AM

Nero was going to just continue down the hall, possibly go down stairs. But he stopped completely when he heard her ask about his back. He guessed it was too much to ask for those scars to go unnoticed. His whole back, most of it anyway, was covered in different scars. Some of them had obviously been welts that had been burned into his skin while others looked like they came from weapons. He was at least thankful that his shirt did a good job of covering them, though had anyone touched his back they would've felt the welts through his shirt. He stood there for a moment longer before turning slightly to look back over at Hikari. "...About six years of punishment..." He muttered. "It's nothing." He added lastly with a heavy sigh.

Cyndel 08-27-2008 10:15 AM

Hikari continued to look at him with those caring, sympathetic eyes of hers. At least that news had finally caused the color to drain from her face again. In spite of all, she did still like Nero a bit, though she just tried to ignore him since she was fairly certain that the feeling wasn't mutual. She couldn't imagine what he could have done to warrant such punishment. "...Punishment for what?" she asked quietly, turning her eyes to his face since she couldn't really see his back anymore. She took another step closer to him and kept her eyes locked on his. "...What could you have possibly have done to deserve...that?" She slowly raised her hand to touch his shoulder as if she was trying to turn him around again so that she could look them over. She really hated seeing scars like that on someone because she could only imagine the pain that they had to have been through, and that scar was always going to be there to remind them of it.

Yotsy 08-27-2008 10:25 AM

Nero sighed when it was clear that she wasn't going to just leave it at what he answered before. Then again he couldn't really blame her for questioning. He'd have been curious himself if he'd seen someone with such scarring on their back and at his age no less. "...It's typical..." He started and then turned his back to her again. "...You won't find anyone in my job position that doesn't have similar scars." He muttered. "It's punishment for when something doesn't go right, or according to plan. Or even when you're not learning something fast enough for your higher ups." He continued. "...The punishment varies in degree according to behavior ...and God forbid you catch them on a bad day." He shook his head and sighed heavily. "Like I said before, it's nothing. They're just scars."

Cyndel 08-27-2008 10:41 AM

Hikari was a little surprised that he turned back around for her, but she didn't say anything, she just went right back to examining the old wounds as she listened to him. Her breath caught for a moment when she heard what happened. "...Your...own people did this to you?" she asked quietly as she raised her hand to his back, very lightly running her fingers down one of the larger scars. "....That's terrible....there are so many other ways..." she said quietly. She couldn't pull her eyes away from his back and after a moment her vision blurred suddenly and she realized that she was almost on the verge of crying. She seemed to be doing that a lot today, but then today was just one of those days. She didn't know how one person could stand and do this to another if they were not fighting for their own lives. This was nothing more than the results of torture in her eyes. She gently laid her hand, palm down on his shoulder blade. "...I'm not sure...how well I could do but...if you wanted......" she started to offer, hoping he got the message. She doubted she could get rid of them all altogether, but she could get rid of some at least and hopefully make the others less noticeable.

Yotsy 08-27-2008 11:03 AM

Nero shook his head almost immediately at her offer. "No. They're a reminder. They stay." He said shortly. He didn't care very much for the scars, and he would have preferred that he didn't have them but they were a reminder of the things he did wrong according to his clan. He also wasn't about to accept any help in their removal from a light dragon. He stood there for a moment longer before he stepped forward a little so that she wasn't touching him anymore. He turned slightly to look back at her but stared off at the wall instead. "...Each individual scar has it's own reason for why it's there. There is also a log, in my file, that lists all the reasons, and what what used to cause the scar. If I showed up back home without the correct number, the punishment would only be worse." He said quietly. He sighed softly and his ears lowered slightly. It'd been awhile since he'd talked to anyone about this, or brought the memories back up. "...I got my first one when I was fourteen. It's the largest burnt in welt..." He paused and shook his head again. "I was just forced into the military, I was learning the ropes. They gave me a sword. They wanted me to learn how to use it. Like most kids my age I was terrified at the thought of using it once it was handed to me. I panicked when I went to attack a dummy with my eyes shut and instead of hitting the dummy like I thought I was, I sliced into my instructor." He sighed. "Let's just say that instructor had to retire..." He couldn't believe he was standing here telling her such things. He didn't need to be bringing up these things with her of all people, but he couldn't really help it. He hadn't had anyone to talk to about this stuff before and he oddly felt safe telling her, not to mention he knew she'd listen.

Cyndel 08-27-2008 11:20 AM

Hikari nodded slightly when he said that they were to stay and why. "...I'm sorry...I didn't think about that." she said quietly. Of course they would notice if the scars were gone. She blinked when she realized that she was still holding her hand up where he had been standing before and then lowered it again along with her eyes. She expected him to walk away after that, but she was surprised to hear him continue talking so she looked back up to him again. She shook her head slightly, still looking at him sympathetically when he started telling her about the scar that she had touched. "...What could they expect? You were just a boy... He should not have been standing so close to the target, especially on your first try..." she said softly, "...I've...never believed that a military is anything that someone should be forced into... I suppose you can see why..." she almost whispered. Her eyes dropped to the floor for a moment while she raised her hand to rub them and clear the water from them, hoping that Nero hadn't noticed that since he hadn't really looked back to her again. Once she was finished she looked back up to his face again.

Yotsy 08-27-2008 11:50 AM

Nero hadn't noticed her eyes, because he had avoided eye contact with her on purpose. His eyes had a tenancy to soften considerably when he brought up such things and he didn't want to go looking at her. He also knew that Hikari was very sympathetic when it came to such things. So obviously he'd avoid eye contact. He sighed softly. "There is no reason to apologize." He said quietly. "...I may have been just a boy, but with my Father being so high ranked in the military they expected a lot out of me. I got pushed harder then everyone else and punished harder because they wanted to make me like my Father, if not better." He shook his head lightly. "Since I joined, my feelings about being in the military, obviously have changed." He paused. "So long as I do as I'm told and look after my subordinates, I save myself from the punishment. Once you get past that, the military isn't as bad as it sounds." He stood there for a moment and then finally glanced over at Hikari briefly. "If you don't mind, I don't want to talk about this anymore." He said and then walked past her back towards the bathroom. He stepped inside and grabbed the towel he left rolled up on the sink and then started back towards her. "Any other questions, save them. Maybe I'll answer them one day." He told her and then started off towards the stairs.

Cyndel 08-27-2008 12:17 PM

Hikari sighed softly and lowered her eyes again as she listened. It was clear when she was listening to someone intently because it was about the only time that she wasn't the one talking. She nodded when he mention their wanting to turn him like his father. She knew that feeling well enough of trying to be made like a parent's clone. She looked up to him again and nodded slightly when he said that his feelings had changed. Of course they had. When he said that he didn't want to talk anymore she nodded, still remaining silent as she watched him go toward the bathroom She sighed softly and lowered her eyes to the floor again as he came back out ad started past her, though she raised her head when she heard him tell her to save her questions. For once in her life,s he actually couldn't even think of any. "...Alright." she said quietly, letting him continue for a moment before she turned around again. "Nero..." she called after him and then paused for a moment and smiled sweetly at him. "Good night." she told him again. Now...she just needed to find somewhere to sleep herself. She was sure since Nero was heading for the stairs that everywhere up here was full. She finally just sighed and returned to the room that she had just left and walked over to the bed. Celestine may not be too happy when he wakes up, but he could deal with it. She just crawled onto the open space on the side of the bed and laid down beside him.

Yotsy 08-27-2008 12:58 PM

Nero paused for a moment when he heard her say his name and then turned his head slightly to look back at her. "...Goodnight, Hikari." He said softly and then continued to the stairs and then down them without another word. Once he reached the foot of the stairs he glanced around the living room a little and noticed Aamori had gone to sleep in the chair. He sighed lightly and then wandered over to the couch. He set the rolled up towel down on the coffee table and unrolled it a little as he sat on the edge of the couch. He reached over and felt his pants. They weren't completely dry yet but they'd suffice. He unrolled the towel the rest of the way and picked up his pants, leaving his shirt on the towel. He stood up and slipped back into his pants and buttoned them up and then picked up the towel, setting it down on the couch before he sat down again. He sighed softly and sat there for a few minutes before shifting so that he could lay down on the couch. He was still tired from all the work earlier so it really didn't take him very long to fall asleep once he laid down and relaxed.

Cyndel 08-27-2008 01:21 PM

Marius finally managed to make it back to the house a few hours after everyone else was asleep. He had completely lost track of time between crying spells and staying at the strange glowing flowers. Once he got back tot he house he slipped inside quietly and went for the stairs, though he paused at the first room to see who had taken Nero's bed then sighed softly when he saw Kanone. If Nero had not already been asleep he would have given him his bed and taken the couch himself. He continued down the hall until he got to the next door and then entered his room and got ready for bed, taking his hair down and changing out of his work clothes...not that they'd seen much work today. He finally crawled into the bed and closed his eyes. He was asleep not much later, and for once had a fairly dreamless night.

By morning Hikari had of course curled herself up around Celestine and nuzzled against him, though for once she had done it consciously. He had woken her up in the middle of the night grumbling and tossing so she put her arms around him to hold him still and calm him down. At least it worked because he didn't wake her again.

Celestine was awake now, and had been for a while before dawn. He had started to get up but when he realized that Hikari had him pinned he didn't bother. However the longer that he lay there in silence the more he had time to think of yesterday's unpleasant events and oddly, Nanashi's story. It was kind of stuck in his head. Eventually he found himself laying there, facing the ceiling, with tears flowing from his eyes. At least he wasn't sobbing this time.

Kanone was still curled up in the bed, though his pillow had ended up in the floor as it did almost every morning, and he had cocooned himself up in the covers tot he point that all that could be seen of him was his head. He had just laid there wide awake for a while, but finally he fell asleep and once he had he was out like a light.

Nanashi had at some point through the night wound up in the floor since the bed was a bit crowded with him, LaRae, AND Nobu all trying to sleep on it. He was just laying on the floor on his stomach with his arms crossed under his head much the way that he'd slept in the room with Kyran for a while. He was already awake as well, but he hadn't bothered to get up. After all there wasn't a whole lot for him to do other than lay here.

Yotsy 08-28-2008 01:04 AM

Kyran managed to sleep as soundly as possible in the chair. He stayed asleep throughout most of the night, until he went to turn slightly and nearly slipped right out of the chair. Of course that had woken him up because he had to catch himself before he fell out of the chair. He stayed awake for a few moments trying to get comfortable again, he barely even noticed Kanone was in the bed and then he was asleep again. He stayed asleep this time until morning. By then he'd sat up a bit straighter in the chair and just sat there quietly. He couldn't help but shake his head lightly when he noticed the way that Kanone was asleep in the bed.

Aamori slept well enough through the night but just like the night before she managed to slip right out of the chair in nearly the exact manor. She smacked her head into the wood again, and didn't even wake up when it happened. By morning she was still laying with her head and shoulders to the floor along with her arms bent around her head a little, and her legs propped up in the chair.

LaRae was actually awake when morning rolled around. Though that was only because she'd gone to sleep so early yesterday. She was still laying in the bed, she'd barely moved an inch because Nobu was still laying on her a bit. She hadn't even known that Nanashi had been in the bed, or that he was even in the room for that matter. She wanted to get up and had for awhile but she really couldn't tell if Nobu was awake or not so hadn't wanted to disturb him on the off chance he was still asleep.

Nobu was asleep right now, and quite comfortable practically spread out on the bed even though he was laying on LaRae too. For most of yesterday he'd been awake even when LaRae had fallen asleep. He didn't actually go to sleep until part way through the night.

Nero was up early just as he usually was, though he easily could've slept longer. He was sitting up on the couch and putting his shirt back on now that it was dry. He leaned back on the couch and glanced over at Aamori briefly shaking his head when he saw the way she was sleeping. He sat there for a few minutes longer before standing up and picking up the towel from the couch. He folded it up and set it down on the floor right beside the couch for now. Then he headed for the hall and went straight back to the kitchen so sit down at the table after fixing himself a glass of water.

Cyndel 08-28-2008 01:43 AM

Celestine finally raised his hand to his face and wiped it clean before he lifted Hikari's arm off of him and slid away from her and off of the other side of the bed. He gasped when he stood up and wrapped his arm around his bruised side for a moment. The pressure didn't really help but he couldn't help holding it as he slowly limped for the door. He was still very sore from his little run yesterday, and extremely worn out, but he didn't want to lay there with Hikari cuddling all over him anymore. He slipped out of the room and crossed the hall to lean his uninjured shoulder on the wall as he walked slowly down the hall. His cane had ended up spending the night outside beside the porch, so he didn't have that to help him along. He guessed he was just going to have to hope the rail would hold him on his way down. If he made it that far. He was already panting a little by the time he got to the last door on the hallway. He stepped forward again, still trying to lean again the door. Unfortunately, it seemed that Kanone hadn't gotten the door to latch completely when he went in, so as soon as Celestine leaned against it, the door flew open and he fell over sideways, smacking off of the hardwood floor with a thud and a pained squeak. He ground his teeth together and closed his eyes tightly while he waited for the pain to fade, all the while curling his nails up against the rug by the door. After a moment he slowly started to push himself up, though he kept his head down with his long jade-silver hair half hiding his face.

Kanone shifted positions and rolled over with a groan when he heard the thud, but it didn't wake him. He was still tired so it would probably take more than one little thud to wake him.

Nanashi sighed softly where he lay and then rolled over onto his back and stretched his arms out, though he sat up when he heard the thud across the hall and tilted his head slightly. He glanced back tot he bed for a moment and then blinked when he realized that LaRae was already up. "...Hey..." he said quietly before he glanced to the door again.

Yotsy 08-28-2008 02:38 AM

Kyran glanced over to the door when he noticed from the corner of his eye that it was opening. He just stared for a moment with a quirked brow when he saw Celestine fall into the room and hit the floor with a thud as the door opened all the way. He pushed himself up from the chair after a moment and crept over to Celestine, crouching down so that he was at his level. "...Are you alright?" He asked quietly as he looked at him.

LaRae tried to sit up a little more in the bed when she heard the thud. Though she was finding even that much was difficult with Nobu on her. She sighed softly and then startled a bit when she heard Nanashi. She hadn't been paying any attention to who else was in the room, she really hadn't expected anyone else to be in here anyway. She smiled lightly and looked over at him. "Good morning." She then glanced back down to Nobu for a moment and rested her hand on top of his head lightly. "...Did you sleep in here on the floor?" She asked curiously. She kind of assumed that he had probably slept in the room since he was on the floor beside the bed, but she could've been wrong.

Cyndel 08-28-2008 04:12 AM

Celestine closed his eyes again when he heard Kyran's voice. Well he guessed the guy had to go somewhere since he stole his bed. He still had his teeth gritted together at the moment but he nodded his head weakly in response to his question. He still wasn't in much of a talking mood. He only managed to get up to a sitting position before he sighed and dropped his head a little more, keeping himself held up by locking his elbows in place where he held his arms out in front of him. He hadn't even really moved his legs other than to pull the one that hurt the least up closer to him. After a minute he just sighed and gave up on trying to get anywhere for now and unlocked his joints to let his hands slide out in front of him as he laid back down again, still trying to catch his breath. "......Tired..." he muttered quietly just so Kyran wouldn't worry about him laying back down again.

Nanashi looked back to LaRae again and smiled slightly. "...Good morning...and yes....most f the night." he said quietly, "I was in the bed but Nobu kept kicking me, so I got down." he said lightly. He yawned slightly and then stretched out, cringing when his back cracked a few times. He shook his head and then pushed himself up and sat down on the edge of the bed, glancing down to Nobu for a moment before he gently ran his hand down the giant canine's side.

Yotsy 08-28-2008 05:55 AM

Kyran continued to crouch there for a few minutes, at least until he heard Celestine speak after he had laid back down. He sighed softly and then stood back up, stretching a bit in the process. "Since I don't think you fell in here on purpose... where were you going?" He paused. "Do you need some help?" He asked quietly. He had guessed that Celestine was probably still hurting after yesterday and him falling into the room was probably a result of him trying to brace himself as he walked.

LaRae felt a little bad since she hadn't known that he was in the bed, or in the room for the night for that matter. She patted Nobu's head for a moment and then looked back over to Nanashi when he sat on the edge of the bed. "I'm sorry he was kicking you... I just gave up trying to move him yesterday and let him stay where he was." She sighed softly and pulled her hand back from Nobu's head and then tried to pull her legs out from under him. She struggled for a moment until she managed to shimmy one of her legs free. She hadn't really realized how heavy Nobu was until he laid down on her yesterday and now that he was clearly asleep he felt even heavier. She shook her head lightly. She couldn't believe that Kyran had actually been able to fly and carry this behemoth even for the distance that he had. She sat there for moment longer before she started trying to free her other leg so she could get up. She wound up just pushing her hands against Nobu long enough to give her the room to get her other leg out from under him and then hurried to get to her feet before Nobu could move again. As soon as she put her weight on her legs they gave out right under her and she quickly found herself sitting on the floor. She sighed heavily just stayed there. She should've guessed her legs were going to be numb because of how long Nobu had laid on them.

Cyndel 08-28-2008 06:15 AM

Celestine sighed softly and closed his eyes again, shrugging his shoulder slightly when Kyran asked him where he was going. He didn't really know where he was going, he just wanted up. He opened his eyes again when Kyran offered him help and then tried to push himself up again, though he settled for just rolling onto his back. He gasped again when he jarred his body and then shut his eyes tightly again, his chest rising and falling heavily with his breath. After a moment he opened is slightly watery eyes and looked up to Kyran upside down and shook his head weakly, apparently ready to just resign himself to the idea of laying there in the floor. At least Hikari wasn't hanging off of him anymore. "....I'm fine...." he muttered in that same almost inaudible voice. He still looked barely better than he had yesterday, though his eyes were still red from crying and he still looked sad...as well as just outright miserable from the pain. He was trying his best to just do for himself and stay out of everyone else's hair. He doubted they really wanted to put up with him, and he didn't really want to talk to anyone except for maybe Aamori or Nanashi.

Nanashi watched as LaRae tried to free herself and smiled slightly when she finally got loose, "LaRae I--" he started before she stood and then cringed slightly when her legs gave out. "...stand up yet." he finished lamely. He chuckled softly and shook his head before he slipped down into the floor and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "Are you alright?" he asked quietly, nuzzling his head agianst hers lightly.

Yotsy 08-28-2008 05:47 PM

Kyran sighed softly as he watched Celestine roll onto his back. He continued to just stand there looking down at him at least until he shook his head and then said he was fine. "If you decide on where you want to go, and would like some help getting up... Just let me know." He paused. "I really don't mind helping you out, especially if it will help to keep you from slowing your recovery." He said quietly before stepping around Celestine to get out into the hall. He wasn't so sure how well Kanone could sleep through people talking so he wasn't going to just stand in the room and keep his mouth moving. Then again, Celestine really didn't look like he was in the mood to talk.

LaRae looked over to Nanashi when he came down off the bed and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. She smiled slightly and then leaned against him. She was a little embarrassed to say the least. She should've known better then to go trying to stand up right away and yet she was more focused on getting away from Nobu that she just didn't think about anything else. She sighed softly when he asked if she was alright. She couldn't really feel her legs at the moment so she wasn't entirely too sure but after watching the way her legs gave out under her she was pretty sure that she had probably done a nice job of twisting her ankle. She nodded her head a little. "...Yeah. I'm okay." She uttered quietly. Though, once she was able to get onto her feet again it'd be obvious that she had lied about being alright.

Cyndel 08-28-2008 10:18 PM

Celestine sighed softly and then nodded again, closing his eyes as Kyran started to step around him. He was quiet for a moment and then finally tried to sit up on his elbows again. "...I was...trying to get...downstairs...." he muttered quietly. That was all he knew because that was his original destination. He reached up and grabbed into the door frame quickly and then pulled himself up to a sitting position before leaning against the wood heavily and closing his eyes again. He was starting to look thoroughly irritated again at how little he could still do. Of course the face that he'd half about half of one apple in five days probably really wasn't making him much stronger, but he didn't really think about that. He still wasn't hungry and after yesterday probably wouldn't be for a while.

Nanashi nodded slightly and then sighed softly and raised his head before he hooked his arms around her and gave her another hug. After a minute he slowly got up again and held out his hands to her. "Here..let's try this again." he said lightly, "I wont let you fall." He promised. He could catch her if her legs gave out again, but he thoughts she'd probably have a little feeling back in them now. She could walk the rest out.

Yotsy 08-29-2008 01:31 AM

Kyran was going to start down the hall to the room he'd been using since Celestine was obviously out of the bed. That meant he had a place to lay down for a while and work the kinks out of his back from sleeping in the chair all night. He glanced back down at Celestine when he heard him say that he was trying to get downstairs. He sighed softly and shook his head lightly while thinking to himself that he'd already asked him before where he was going and received a shake of the head as a response. He watched as Celestine pulled himself up so that he could lean against the wood. He outstretched his hand to offer to help him to his feet. He wasn't sure how Celestine would rather go about getting downstairs so he figured he'd try helping him walk down before he'd offer to just carry him. "...Where exactly downstairs?"

LaRae smiled again softly when he gave her another hug and then looked up at him when he stood up. Her eyes fell to his hands for a moment before she reached up to take his hands and get to her feet. "I know you won't." She said lightly. Once she'd gotten up she went to put pressure down on her right ankle and winced. She sighed heavily and lifted her foot up off the ground slightly to take the pressure off. She was a little aggravated that she'd hurt her ankle yet again. At least this time it didn't seem to hurt too badly, it was just really sore and that first attempt to step down on it was probably the worst it was going to hurt; Or so she hoped.

Cyndel 08-29-2008 02:01 AM

Celestine sighed again and stared at Kyran's hand for a moment before he tried to use the door frame to get to his feet, obviously wanting to do it himself. After a short moment it was apparent that he was getting nowhere like that so he finally reached up to Kyran's hand and closed his slender fingers over his hand, letting him pull him up. He staggered slgihtly when he was up and soon found himself leaning against Kyran's side. He shook his head slightly and closed his eyes again, feeling suddenly lightheaded after he got up again. "...I...don't...care...." he muttered quietly. "....I'm........dizzy." he said quietly as he raised his hand to his face and pressed his hand against his head. He just wanted to sit down...preferably somewhere soft.

Nanashi held onto her hands as she got up and then watched her wince when she put her foot down. He looked down to see which foot she was holding up and then shook his head slightly. "...You have the worst luck with those ankles..." he said softly. He slowly released her hands and then wrapped his arms around her again and gave her a gentle squeeze. "Does it hurt bad?"

Yotsy 08-29-2008 03:09 AM

Kyran helped Celestine to his feet and then looked down at him when he wound up leaning against him. He sighed softly after he heard him say that he didn't care where downstairs. If that was the case he could easily just dump him at the foot of the stairs, or be rather mean and leave him in the room where Sonia had been yesterday. He of course would never do that though. He shook his head then moved slightly before reaching down to pick Celestine up. Much like the other times he slid his arm behind his knees and put the other to his back. Since Celestine was dizzy, he wasn't going to expect him to walk down the stairs. He suspected after one step Celestine would probably nose dive down the rest of the stairs. Once he had him up off the ground he went straight over to the stairs without a word and started down them. After he stepped off the last step he walked over to the couch and then set Celestine down on it before taking a step back. He hadn't looked to see who else was in the room until now and he shook his head when he saw Aamori was asleep the same way she was yesterday when he saw her. He glanced back over to Celestine. "Do you need anything?" He asked quietly. If he didn't need anything he was just going to go back upstairs to relax for a bit longer.

LaRae sighed after hearing what he said. She had to agree. Thankfully though this was only the second time she'd twisted her ankle on this trip, so far. The first time was when she slipped getting out of the tub back at Kyran's house. She leaned into him a bit when he wrapped his arms around her again. She started to lower her foot back down, a little more carefully this time. She started out with putting her toes to the ground and then slowly easing back onto her foot completely. She clenched her teeth slightly and shut her eyes when she felt a brief stabbing pain in her ankle as she put a little weight on it. She at least managed to stand on it alright because the pain subsided after she was standing on it. She sighed softly after opening her eyes again. "No, not too badly." She paused. "I think I'll be alright." She said quietly.

Cyndel 08-29-2008 04:07 AM

Celestine sighed heavily and just dropped his hand down to rest across his stomach. He leaned his head lightly against Kyran's shoulder since that was just the easiest way to support it right now and was quiet until he got to the bottom of the stairs. "....I'm sorry..." he muttered quietly. He knew it had to he a pain in the ass for him to have to carry him everywhere. It was driving him nuts at least. He sighed again once he'd put him on the sofa and then shook his head slightly when he asked if he needed anything. He wasn't going to take up any more of his time than he had to. "....Thank you...." He closed his eyes again and leaned his head against the back of the couch again. He still looked pretty miserable. He was hurting in more ways than one and he felt terrible. His head still ached, the room felt like it was rocking like he should be sitting on a boat, and he was still very tired. He just tried to curl his legs up on the couch with him and then leaned his head forward to rest on his knees. He was a little paler than normal as well, though it was hard to tell considering how light his skin tone was to begin with. All in all he was ready to just go back to sleep now.

Nanashi smiled weakly and nodded. "...That's good..." he said softly. "You should still probably not put a lot of weight on it for a little while... Do you want to sit back down?" he asked, glancing over toward the chair in the corner of the room. Honestly he probably could have set in that and slept instead of getting in the floor. Just like the chairs in the other rooms it was made for lounging in. He smiled at her and gently tugged her in that general direction.

Kyran shook his head lightly. "You don't have to apologize, I said I didn't mind, didn't I?" He started back towards the stairs since Celestine didn't need anything else. He paused when he reached them and looked back at him briefly. "You're welcome." He said simply before he went up the stairs. Once he reached the top of the stairs he stretched a little and then started down the hall. He paused when he reached the door to the room that Kanone was in and then reached in to pull the door shut quietly. Then he continued down the hall to the room that he'd been using. He came to a stop again once he had reached the door, pleasantly surprised to see that Hikari was in the room and still asleep. He proceeded over to the side of the bed, he smiled and then shook his head lightly when he saw how she was sleeping. Since she was still sleeping he thought about leaving, mostly because he didn't want to disturb her. But he couldn't resist wanting to lay there with her. He reached over and gently lifted up her arm so that he could slip into the bed beside her.

LaRae glanced over towards the chair once he asked if she wanted to sit back down. She didn't really want to sit down again, mostly because she'd been in that bed for so long. But with her ankle sore, she knew it'd be better to stay off of it for a little while like he said. She smiled lightly and gave in to his tugging without fighting him on it. She of course had a slight limp when she moved. "Since I'm going to listen and get off my foot... you're going to stay in here with me, right?" She asked quietly.

Celestine glanced back up again for just a moment to look at Kyran and then sighed softly and lowered his head again, though he turned it slightly to the side to see Aamori hanging out of the chair. He looked at her silently and then huffed once quietly in mild amusement at how she was laying beside he just turned his head back down to hide his face in his knees again.

Hikari was still pretty tired since she had stayed up fairly late and had been woken up a couple of times by Celestine. She hardly seemed to notice when Kyran lifted her arm, though when he got into the bed beside her she immediately latched onto him the way that she’d been holding Celestine before and nuzzled gently against him. “…It’s okay...Cel…” she muttered quietly in her sleep, obviously thinking that Kyran getting in the bed was Celestine being restless again.

Nanashi smiled slightly as he helped her to the chair, trying to help her keep most of her weight off of her sore foot. “Of course I will.” He said lightly. He smiled slightly at her, “Just so you can make sure…” he sat down in the chair before she could and then dragged her down into his lap. “There, now I can’t get up.” he said with a soft laugh. He just leaned his head against her shoulder and wrapped his arms around her middle, closing his eyes. “…This is actually…kind of comfortable.”
