I'd be so happily astonished if I managed to get the Raven Wings or the Panda Headphones. Those are two of my favorite CIs ever! But I guess that's a little presumptuous of me to be hoping to get such big-ticket items so soon after I joined. I'd really be happy with anything, since pretty much the only clothes I have are the ones I'm wearing. ^_^;

For me, well, it kind of depends on the roll.
If I win gold, it goes to my charity. if I win an item, I take a look and see if there's anything I want to have myself, but often it also goes to charity. xD |

Well, about CIs to buy... I have one set I am buying this month (as soon as the owner sends the trade) for 700 gold, and two sets next month for 777g each. I reserved them already and can pay whenever I want during September. It's slightly higher than the average price, but that way I am sure I'll actually have them. Then, it reminds me I still miss quite a few CIs. Some I will never get, though. xD |
I'm really glad that I'm not in love with many of the CIs here yet, because now I won't feel bad about not getting them all! ^_^ There were so many of Gaia's that I loved, but couldn't get. But at least here the ones I adore are reasonably within my range!

I was questing for the Jacked up shirt a year ago. And it was at a reasonable price than. I forgot about it for that year and it inflated to 1mil! ;_; I cried. Actually I don't really mind what Item I get. ^^ I'll most likely just own it for a while than give it away. haha. |

I managed to get the Ancient Katana and Coco Kitty and a few other items in mid-range at Gaia, but no items above one mil.
And somehow I managed to keep up with a giveaway there for... 10 months, perhaps. I gave away X-mas 05 sets, gifts of the goddess, dark halo, etc. At least a year later, when I had semi-quit gaia, I gave away my Coco Kitty to a fellow Menewshan who's also a Gaian member. |
I have the Horns of the Demon and the Angelic Pendant, but I got those long before they were expensive, so I don't really count those.
I've thought of semi-quitting several times, but I've never really done it. Are you active on Gaia now? |
