He was jerked away as Fuego moved to avoid a group approaching them from the side. The prisoner knew his way around the castle grounds fairly well from working there - or loitering, as many did - the little time he did. "Kitten?" TK popped her head out, some hay finding its way in her dark hair to make her look like some odd creature. |
Hielo smiled at her appearance and pulled pieces from her hair. She had definately found a good hiding place. He reached out to take her hand in his. "We're going to have to find another place to hide until we can get away from the guards safely."
|
TK moved to be closer against Hielo, nodding at his proposition to find another hiding place. "There's the lofts," she suggested, pointing up above their heads. Certainly, the animals present could mask any sounds they could make, right? She was certain that the guards would excuse any oddities to be bovine created. |
Hielo nodded at TK and held her hand tightly as he guided her towards the lofts keeping a wary eye out for anyone that might be approaching. When he heard a noise he pulled her close against him and covered her mouth with his hand until it was clear. Then, he started towards their hideout again. |
TK stayed close against Hielo once they were settled, hidden behind bales of hay and other miscellaneous goods. She grasped his shirt, masking the scent from the animals below with his. While she found it a little warm, she didn't retreat from his hold. They watched the entrance of the barn as the shadows of guards passed constantly. |
Hielo found it difficult keeping his eyes open as the day dragged on. "Kitten, you must be tired. You can sleep against me." The hard wooden floor was something a girl shouldn't be forced to sleep on. He definately didn't mind his soft companion resting on him either. The thought made his cheeks flush, he was thankful for the darkness that shielded the hue from sight.
|
She nodded briefly in return. Throughout their time together, she had her eyes closed for extended periods of time. Being told to sleep was a welcoming change. Within minutes, she was asleep against him. |
Rey stood up and looked at Heliodor. "Do you have any food on you? Water?"
|
Heliodor was used to traveling. From his hip, he provided Rey with a gourd full of cool waters. With a nod, he sifted through his pack for something for him to eat. "Are you lost?" he asked. It was an ignorant question, but he wanted to open him up for conversation. |
Rey nodded his head. "Yes, I was kidnapped for no reason at all." He left out and had forgotten the fact that the reason he was there was to pay a debt since they didn't pay the brothers for taking Jasper.
|
"Kidnapped! That's awful!" Heliodor looked bewildered. Now why would there be people capturing others? Perhaps some slave trade ring? He shook his golden head, ashamed of how things were. "Well, I'm headed to the nearest town. If you'd like to come along---" Rey cut him off quickly with a resounding "yes!" Without saying more, Heliodor introduced himself and led the way. |
Rey stood as he started walking with Heliodor. "I'm so glad to get away from those morons."
"I'm glad you did! You're safe, don't worry." "I need to find my brothers, I think I could figure out where to go when we get to the town." Rey closed his mouth to stay silent as they continued walking. His throat was still parched from being out for so long. ~~~~ Kaze watched Jade as he slept. They had stayed up most of the night talking to one another. He wouldn't have woken up himself had he not heard Bani screeching down the hall about Sapphire not being there. He reached his hand out to feel along Jade's cheek. His hand moved away quickly when Jade's violet eyes opened slowly. |
"Slept well?" Jade propped himself up some, slim fingers diving through the masses of tousled brown hair. Even as disoriented and confused as his expression was, Kaze found him pretty. With how his eyes were barely open, he could admire those long lashes as they fluttered over his face. Then his cheeks began to redden when he realized the knight was staring so long and hard at him. He smiled. "I did." Curling up again against the pillow, he admired Kaze. He was still feeling warm and excited being so close to him. So many feelings and emotions rushing through him at once. Especially since he was staring...staring with deep crimson eyes. Jade was humored. Sometime during the night, Kaze's hair decided to move, bending on its own. His forehead was revealed. While it was a little large, he found it cute. A soft giggle escaped his lips. "What is it?" Kaze asked with a smirk. |
Jade kept his soft smile on his face as his fingertips lightly brushed against Kaze's forehead.
Immediately Kaze knew his forehead was exposed to the world! His hair style was specificially put so that no one would see his forehead. He was teased constantly for it's larger than usual size. In all truth it wasn't as large as it was in his mind. Jade sat up in the bed. "Oh Kaze, don't be ebarrassed. I think it's cute." Kaze glanced over his shoulder at Jade as his hands were frantically trying to calm his hair and set it back into place sheilding his forehead and right eye. "You don't." "I do." Jade moved closer to Kaze, taking the red eyed man's hands in his own. He let one brush Kaze's bangs aside again. "It's very cute." Kaze's cheeks turned bright red when he felt Jade's lips brush against his forehead. "Then I like it too." |
Jade giggled. Teasingly, he responded in the same tone Kaze had given him, "You don't."
Instead of recognizing this as being a play on what he had just said moments earlier, the man gasped. "You have to be kidding...No one's as perfect." His hands quickly felt over Jade's cheeks. "There's no one more perfect. No one. Don't you dare suggest otherwise!" He was flushed. Leaning forward, he let his soft lips brush up against Kaze's plump ones. Just a simple action got the knight moaning. |
Bani stomped through the castle looking for Kaze. It was apparent to her that Sapphire was not coming back so she needed someone to go and retrieve him so he could be shoved in the dungeon forever! Her pink shoes carried her everywhere she could think of, but Kaze was nowhere to be found.
What she didn't know was that Kaze was in fact in the castle. Just exceedingly preocupied. Kaze's kiss with Jade had sparked a great deal more than kissing. ~~~ Rey looked around the town as he ate what Heliodor had to offer him. "Do you live around here?" |
Heliodor shook his head. "No, I'm a wanderer. I don't live anywhere."
Rey wondered if he had encountered a hobo. Perhaps a serial killer? His enigmatic new "friend" was a curious person indeed. "Ah, I can relate." "What do you do?" "What do you mean?" "Have a job?" Rey grinned. "I deal with money." "Ah, don't tell me you're a tax collector!" He laughed. "If I were, I bet you'd be busted. I'm good at...keeping track of things." The blond smiled. "Can you read me?" "Hm?" "Am I wealthy?" he asked, laughing. Rey was tempted to feel him up for how much money he had. He hadn't heard any jingles of coins since they met. Heliodor wasn't dressed in anything impressive. He was seeing many signs of a wealthy man...who didn't show it... |
Fuego panted when he finally was able to sit with Morgan. His legs ached from finally being able to use them after so long of just pacing around a dungeon cell.
"Are you alright? Do you need water?" Morgan questioned his violet haired friend. He definately needed water himself. "Don't worry about it, darling. I'm fine. If you need something, let me find it." Fuego wouldn't let Morgan take care of him. It was the man's job to take care of their gorgeous companion after all. Morgan thought for a moment. How hard would it be to get back to his villiage? "If we keep on this road, we'll make it to my villiage." Fuego nodded his head before glancing back towards he castle. "I'd love to go to your villiage, but I dont' think I could leave Hielo." |
Morgan squeezed Fuego's hand. "Of course not..." His violet eyes turned back toward the castle, silently wishing the older brother would come running out by now. With no movement from anyone but the guards, he sighed.
"I wonder who he was waiting for..." |
Fuego shrugged. "I have no idea. He didn't have any friends as far as I know. We need to just stay here for awhile. Well hide out in the next town and then come back tomorrow. Maybe the castle will have calmed down by there. "
Morgan nodded. "Alright, that sounds good." He held Fuego's hand as they headed towards the next town. As he was walking, he looked at Fuego. This was the first time he had really gotten a good look at him. |
"You're beautiful," Morgan said, bluntly.
Fuego blinked. "What?" "I've only gotten glimpses of you as we escaped...but..." Fuego stared at him blankly, glad for the excuse. He could see his features this close and for this long. Accentuated with a rosy mop of healthy hair and he was just so perfect. A smile spread across his lips. "But?" "But god...I'm so glad I can really get a good look at you. You're handsome, Fuego." |
Fuego smirked slowly at the remarks from his companion. "I guess this makes peeking at you through the wall, alright. I'm not some ugly fat pervert. I'm a ...thin, tall, handsome pervert."
Morgan couldn't help but laugh. "True. I hope I'm safe traveling with you." Fuego turned towards Morgan and smiled. "I'll be honest. You more than likely wont be safe traveling with me. I can hardly keep myself in check when it comes to someone I'm attracted to, and I am definately attracted to you." |
"Oh really now?" Morgan smirked mischievously. "Well, lucky for you, I enjoy danger. It excites me."
Fuego's mind thought this over as he considered the prospects of him using "excite" in the same context as he was imagining it. "Then you're in for an adventure." An arm swooped to wrap about his waist. "I don't know if I should be flattered or worried..." "Would someone tall, dark, and handsome really incite some fears?" Feeling quite bold and somewhat unchaste, Morgan grabbed him by the collar and extended the smirk. "Let's find out." Lips met before Fuego could chuckle. |
Fuego's eyes widened when Morgan's lips parted from his own. He hadn't expected Morgan to kiss him. He didn't seem like he was the type to kiss people so suddenly without DATES or something. He supposed the sudden rush of the escape had caused him to react this way, he shouldn't take it the wrong way. Fuego smirked at Morgan and patted him. "Come on. Let's go to the town and see if Hielo doesn't meet up with us."
Morgan was certain his actions would have recieved more than just a pat on the back. Fuego's lips HAD kissed him back, hadn't they? Was it his imagination? They were playing and joking, now Fuego wanted to get down to business. Morgan crossed his arms and walked with him. Why wouldn't Fuego want to be kissed by him. The two walked into the villiage and headed towards the inn. Morgan half expected Fuego to get them two rooms, instead the man only got one. Money was low for Fuego. "Let's rest a little while before we let people know we're looking for Hielo. Then if he shows up they can direct him to us." Morgan only gave a short nod in response. Once they were in the Inn room Fuego went to the bed. "Finally! A real bed!" He laid down on the soft mattress and closed his eyes. Morgan watched him. His lips still in the same pout they formed when Fuego snubbed his kiss and affection. |
Lapis frowned.
Fingers tapped along the arms of his ornate, wooden chair. He was excessively disappointed in his son. All he had to do was marry the air-headed little girl and her kingdom would be his. Considering female rulers were so out of the question, of course he would take over. But no. The boy had run off instead. His eyes rolled at the messenger's words. He would have to take things into his own hands. Rising from his chair, he exited the room in long strides with the man still reading off his notes and expressing great concern and confusion on whether he should stop or not. Once his footsteps faced down the hall, he did. When Lapis traveled, he made sure everyone was well aware of the fact he was on the move. A black, sleek carriage was pulled by a team of heavy ebony stallions. They pawed anxiously on the ground and thrust their heads into the air, exhibiting the same kind of virility and fire he still had within him. At the princess's castle entrances, the guards who still stood watch glanced over. The black hue was intimidating. Within moments, after a scramble for who would alert her first, Bani was told about her visitor. |
