trouble with zune mp3 player
I'm aware there is a thread for other mp3 players but thats not what I'm looking for, so I hope this is the correct spot, its sorta about computers? o_O;;; sorry just coudln't find a better spot for it.... >_<;
I have a 30 gig zune, nearly a year old so its one of the “first gens” I believe, everything is updated etc. and haven’t had any problems yet. Comps run on XP and Vista (PC and Laptop-I use both for syncing) so I was listening and my zune randomly stopped and when I went to restart my "quick list" it gave me an error ("the item is missing or can not be played"), so I went to everything else and its saying that for ALL of my music. I restarted it (holding back and up, thats restarting right?) and its still doing that. Its scrolls throu all my music franticly looking for something to work and nothing does. -_- I don't have the usb cord on me because I'm not at home but I really don't want to reformat it because of videos I have from my old computer I no longer have would be lost. Anyone else experienced this? Suggestions? Do I just need to wipe it clean? |
i have a zune, too, the same one as you, actually. the only thing i could think of is to delete all of your files and sync them back on... maybe try to limit syncing to one computer, maybe it's conflicting.
if that doesnt work, try restoring factory settings and resyncing everything. if all else fails, then send it back to the company if the warranty still covers it. good luck with everything, hope this helps. |

alright when I get home tonight I will delete all the music and try putting it back on and if that doesn't work I will completely wipe it and see if that works....*sigh*
thanks for the advice, and once I get a nice external to keep all my music on the syncing will be limited to one device. |
