That's what I do - I like having my classes in the morning if I can get them in the morning. It leaves time later for me to do things I want to do. I had to take a night class a few semesters ago and it was so painful - I just wanted to sleep during the class XD

@Feline - I had no choice - it was the only time the class was offered that I could take XD It was so obnoxious - and it was a 3 hour class and he would keep us there for 3 hours whether we needed to be there or not. Usually the first day teachers all let you go early because they just talk about the syllabus, etc. But he lectured for 3 hours...about the syllabus!!! I was like "oh...my...goodness...let me OUT OF HERE "XD

Oh god! seriously On the syllabus? that's crazy >.>
I mean it's all the same junk why would u need to lecture about something everybodies heard alreadY!! ehh... I would've gone insane although I would've kept it to myself fuming in my head ahah (is incredibly quiet in school)

@Feline - lmao I just remember being mad and bored during the entirety of the 3 hours. I was drawing all over the darn syllabus. And then the rest of the year the only thing he would "teach" us was he would tell us about his years teaching in south and central america and then in small towns in the united states. We were supposed to be learning bills pertaining to education, etc, but we didn't learn any of that. I was like "UGH" 3 hours a week on a monday night...plus all the money I had to pay for the class.....wasted T_T XD

ah that's pretty ridiculous.. I hate it when teachers just blab on an on about something other than the actual education we're supposed to be learning... it's like WTF you're a sucky teacher wasting people's money like that >.> and their time ugh.....

I wouldn't mind so much if I didn't have to pay for the class and I still got the credit. But the fact that I have to pay for the darn class and get nothing out of it...that was killing me D: XD I find that all the basic education classes are pointless and a waste of time and money. The ones that are actually music education classes I learn from - but the ones where I'm just learning florida education laws and diversity techniques and stuff like that are pointless XDD

ah well that's true credit is always good ^^

A lot of people just end up skipping class - but I feel that if I'm paying for it I might as well go. that and most of my music classes - the teachers take attendence XD In other majors - teacher's don't care XDD

It is a lot different than highschool. I had a teacher tell us on the first day of class "If you show up, you show up. I take attendence. If you don't care - it's your loss. I don't care if you fail my class! It's more money for me! There are people in this classroom right now taking my class for the 3rd and 4th time! I don't care if I fail you..it's your fault!" XD after that my whole class was like "Oh...my....goodness...........wtf" XD

hahah now that's a teacher!! xDD be it your own butt, it's your responsibility to take of business yup yup

I should ask my sister how college ended up being for her... she didn't like her school but some of the professors she liked ^_^

Aw that sucks that she didn't like her school. The school I ended up going to was my last choice originally out of the schools I applied to. But I'm glad I went there because I ended up loving it!!! As I got my acceptance letters and went to visit the campuses and stuff - my last choice ended up being my first choice :D XD

I don't have much for choices yet.. but a lot of my friends want to go to this one that's farther away ;-;
and I have abosolutely no clue ugh.... I'm probably gonna have to go through the first year of college as "undecided major" lol

@Feline - well it's better to go in as undecided then to go in as something you aren't sure of, start taking classes towards that major, and then switch and have those classes as a waste of time and money XDDD A lot of people go in as undecided and a lot of people end up switching even if they have decided. and then a lot of people end up in jobs that have nothing to do with their major. My mom was a music ed major as well and she does business stuff now and she's really good at it XD

haha yeah that's how it goes... I just hate that we're supposed to decide what our lives are gonna be like with a career path >.<
I mean a lot of people start out doing something they don't enjoy only to switch to something that later they do like ... it's so confusing ;-;

I'm glad I graduated highschool when I did. the year after I graduated the state decided that they were going to start making incoming freshmen pick a major as they started highschool. a MAJOR for the rest of their LIVES...in HIGHSCHOOL. I couldn't believe that. I've know that I wanted to do music since forever but I am such a rare case. I can't imagine what some of those kids are going through right now.

I'm not sure if they're even keeping up with that right now because of the economy and budget crisis and stuff. I know when I was in HS...we would start the first week of august and end in the middle of may. then after I graduated, the year they implemented the major thing..they also decided to have school start after labor day and end in june. but now they are switching back to the old way after just a couple years...I guess the old way works better and saves money for them XD

Ahhh I see, lol our school starts in September and ends in June... it's always been like that for us >.> and they start us the week before labor day sOOo stupid

Now that I'm in college we start middle-late august and get out late april XD Such short semesters!! I don't know why but I like it :D XDD
