Fresh...Meat...?
I'm new here. I signed up a month ago, but forgot to check my e-mails for the activation code. I finally remembered a month later. I hail from Gaia :3
The literacy here is much stricter then Gaia, considering I'm a really bad speller. |

You don't get warned for not having the right spelling [if that's what you mean] People just say that if you type -illiterately-(Sp?) then you get less gold than you would if you typed and spelled everything correctly.

Thanks! I hope I'm literate enough not to get banned. I am horrible at spelling. D; I noticed there is a lot of Gaians here. That makes me feel more comfortable! xD

*ahem* Anyway, I'm from Gaia too, as are a lot of us. 3 I'm...actually not that active there anymore, though, except to buy art. ^^; Don't worry about poor spelling - we appreciate literacy here, but we're not Grammar Nazis. You won't get banned because you can't spell very well. That's just silly. Mainly the only things we discourage are useless one-liners, "txt tlk" and "1337-5|>33|<" - and even that shouldn't get you banned or anything, unless all your posts are spam or something. I think you'll do just fine. :3 So...welcome to Mene, Kei! I hope you have fun here. :3 Oh, and I hope you don't find it creepy that I remembered your nickname - it's just because people call me Kei, too. XD |

you souldn't worry so much. I'm can not spell well my self, and i have been a member here since October. spelling is not the most important thing in the world. As long as you are actually talking and not jsut posting spam or taling in that l33t speak or what ever it is you should be jsut fine.

The hardest thing for me here is the gold-earning but I think it'll get the hang of it soon. I admit I like the strict environment here; I've seen a lot of trolls on Gaia. Thanks for the Sticky advice. Actually, I read all of them already xD |

Yeah - no worries about the spelling. XD If it weren't for the spell-checker feature in Firefox, I'd make mistakes too. XD Everyone does! Like everyone else has said, it's mostly to prevent, "ppl typg lik diz lolz". @[email protected]; And you earn more gold from typing out the words. X3
As has been said - once you figure out where your 'home' hangout is on Menewsha, you'll find you'll earn gold much more quickly. :3 And I heard the phrase 'art shop' thrown around, so if you're an artist or have art skills, you can earn gold that way too. :3 Hope you enjoy Menewsha! I do art on Gaia, but I've seen some of the wonderful art that people are selling and starting to reconsider xD

XD But like you've seen - gold earning isn't quite as quick as other sites - so artists of all skill levels tend to do well. XD Because people love art! XD It wouldn't be an avatar site without art whores. X3 (And I mean art whores in the nicest possible way - as I am one. LOL. )
