What MMORPGs Do You Play?
Yeah, so I just wanna see what MMORPGs people play on Menewsha. Just realized that I had an account on here, and I decided to chat here nao. ;o
As for the MMOs I play, it would currently have to be World of Warcraft and Ragnarok Online. How about you guys? :) |
I current play EA Land (Which used to be under the name of The Sims Online), and I've played A TON of MMOs in the past - more traditional ones too.

I just play FlyFF. I know it's usually dismissed a little girl's game, but I think it's the best free mmorpg out there. It has amazing graphics, even better than some pay-to-play games. They're really cute, so I think it puts some potential users off, but now that I think about it, it should be pretty popular among Menewshan users. :3

I wish I still had the link to it, but I don't. And those are a list of what I HAVE played, not what I do play. xD I only continue to play the Sims Online. Cabal's a very fun game, but extremely tedious all the same. It involves tons of annoying quests, which in turn involve running around from place to place quite a lot. Also, your experience deteriorates while you're offline, so if you don't play for a week, you could go down a level or two. |

I'm currently addicted to my first MMORPG, World of Warcraft.
I was surprised by how much I liked it, really. I'd never played Warcraft or any other game relating to it before, but playing on this online world is great fun. Personally, I play a Tauren female. Hehe, yes, I play a cow-girl. ^_^ My class is an Enhancement Shaman. *bows* |
Well I'm not currently playing any, I never have time for it.
I am however signed up to FlyFF, Maple Story, and Rappelz. Overall I think I actually like Maple Story the best, it just seems easier than all the others. FlyFF was hard because I died a lot and it took forever to lvl. up and the translations left me guessing on what I was supposed to be doing most of the time. Rappelz has some really awesome graphic, even better than Fly but I have not played in a while because I'm swamped under quests. Ugh. I really wish I had Ragnarok but I do not think I would pay for it because I'm such an inconsitent player. |

I'm currently playing Sword of the New World.
I used to play Flyff, Trickster, Rappelz, Ragnarok Online and Silkroad Online but with the exception of RO (played this for yeaaaars. I kind of miss it.) I got bored of them pretty fast. :[ I'm sure there are other games I've played but I can't remember them at the moment. |
The only one I regularly play is World of Warcarft. I've played others, like Guildwars and Ragnarok online but the only one that has held my interest is World of Warcraft. I wonder if that says something about Wow or simply points out my lack of attention span?

I used to play Runescape and Maple Story, played Trickster for a little while but now I amk hooked on World of Warcraft :P

Let's see..I've played RO a LONG time ago...So I don't really remember much of it now..Maplestory Fo sho...*laughs* and Flyff..also Trickster but I haven't played that In a year and Gunbound..It was pretty Okay..Lastly 2 moons, now that's one of those games you have to be like 17 for..=3=

I first started playing MMOs with Dark Ages.
After that I jumped around to some free sites and played Nexus for a bit. More recently I've played Ragnarok Online (both on the Sakray server and on some free servers) and Guild Wars; although the latter I only played for a very short span of time. |
MMORPGs.
I've pretty much gotten bored with most MMORPGs. They are mostly just a bunch of clicking on monsters to fight and trying to level up, and it actually feels more tedious to me than fun. I used to play them a lot until I started getting bored with them. I wish they were a bit more interesting. I used to play Guild Wars, which I haven't played in a long time. I once tried Runescape, which I thought sucked and quit right away. The very first MMO I ever played was WoS, I actually liked that one quite a bit, even though it doesn't have great graphics or anything. There was just something about it. XD I only stopped playing because I think I lost my character. The computer it was on got reformatted and stuff, and my character somehow was messed up before that as well. I also used to play Flyff, which I quit because I didn't like the changes made to it last summer. But since my boyfriend spent real money on that game for us, I might go back to it at some point. But probably not real soon. I'm not crazy about that game. I play RO once in a while. I play PSOBB sometimes, and I play Rumble Fighter now and then. I don't play any of the games for very long or very often anymore. I just get bored if I do.

I don't have time anymore, but when i do i play conquer online =3 Its fun ^^ lots of quests and crap you can do, i really just like hunting in met zone and collecting mets tho xDD
i haven't been on since i started as a dev here tho >.>;; it eats all my time up i want to try trickster online! mainly because im attracted to the pixelness of it all xD but alas, all these games need windows to play, and i have a mac ^^; there are NO, and i mean no, good free MMORPG games out there for a mac xP i thought i had found one, but you can barely do anything unless you pay xP they even kick you off the servers if it gets too full and a paying person wants to go on xP |

I've played a lot of MMO's in my time.
A long, long time ago, I played what were called MUDs (Multiple User Domain). They basically played like text-based MMO's. But the first real MMO I played was The Realm. It was originally created by Sierra, the people who made the great point-and-click adventures of the past (like King's Quest). Though, back then, we called it a graphical MUD. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y50...nny_blaugh.gif Then I played Ultima Online for about three years. THough all I really did was fish. Fish and fish and fish. It made me very rich, and when money got tight in college, I sold my account on eBay for nearly a grand! After that, it was betas and free trials all over the place. Everquest, Anarchy Online, Eve Online. I spent a lot of time on Ragnarok Online. Some time on Final Fantasy Online. And my brother got me to try World of Warcraft, but I didn't like it. There's nothing original about it. I mean, it's good. Everything works really well, just nothing's innovative. Right now I'm being posessed by Mabinogi. It's a new game being published by Nexon (the people behind Maple Story) and it's a lot of fun. Free too! Which is a bonus for poor people like me. I play Europe Maple Story, and Cabal. At the moment the Easter Event is going on in Europe Maple Story (late I know) and the drop rate of the items for the special quest sucks hardcore so I'm not impressed.

Runescape and Dofus for me - I used to play Tibia as well, but it got a little boring. Oh, and if Guild Wars counts, I play that occasionally as well, but am losing interest fast, sad to say.

I'm on World of Warcraft as of now. Not lately since I recently downgraded to dial-up.. It worked fine on dial-up, but as son as a patch came around, I'm effed. So I just usually play at my girlfriend's house.
I am also anticipating Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. My MMO/RPG history: .World of Warcraft .Dark Age of Camelot .Ragnarok Online .City of Heroes .Final Fantasy XI .Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction .ROSE Online .Maple Story .FlyFF .Gunbound There are more, but those are the major ones. I'm starting to want to start FlyFF again since I didn't really get into it before, and I'm starting to see a lot more people play it, and am hearing a lot more good things about it. |
Im currently playing the MMORPG Mythwaronline
My opinion on this game its excellent i love it, although the other players do seem a bit hostile o.o Currently, Im a female mage lvl 82, With a Mudraper lvl 81. And i play on the Archenar server, as the character Nixxie. Nyahaha coincidence. Anyways i tried to play Dofus but didnt like the battle system. On Mythwar though i managed to get a pet id been trying to get since i joined over a year and a half ago x.x a Capilla, which i managed to get only a few days ago by trading my very trustworthy but low level Aurora Lion. If anyones interested look me up in world chat ;) |
