((Poor Limao...so traumatizing...)

The combination of the intake of so much alcohol and a long day of work left both Florent and Florian spiraling to the ground once they were shoved by the twins. After a few attempts to move, they resorted to just rolling onto their sides and sleeping.

Bani 08-22-2008 03:14 AM

Limao reached up to touch his lips once they were separated from his first kiss'.

Cal set to wiping his mouth with the back of his hand and spitting on the ground. "Disgusting." The thud of the twins falling back caused him to look over at them once again. "Tch." He started for the car that led them there.

"Should we leave them like this?"

"What else would we do with them?"

"Put them in bed?"

"Limao, they're servants. What do we care what happens to them. Let them rot in the sun."

Limao frowned and borded the car with Cal. He would call people to take the twins back to their beds so they wouldn't be forced to stay outside the rest of the day and night.

Unconcerned, Laranja watched the narrow plastic contraption. The bathroom door had been locked to keep out anyone who could walk into the scene of her in nothing but her nightgown, her hair ruffled, and a cool look on her face. Clearly, nothing was going to happen. She glanced at the time. Not enough had passed for the test to be complete. But the reading felt clear. There was just no way---

In a blink, a line stretched across the small space. She dropped it and grasped for the box, reading over the instructions in a great hurry. Dammit! She hurled the box to join the plastic stick, now reading a very strong line. Her hands held onto the porcelain sink tightly as her mind rushed, trying to place a person.

Outside, a very bored Crisanto was channel surfing. He sighed and looked around for Jado or Laranja, but neither were around to play with him. Part of him was beginning to miss the twins and Jolan.

((Just to cause some havoc for Tares!))

Bani 08-22-2008 07:24 PM

((Poor poor Tares!))

Larnaja thought over the entire trip from the resort. It would have had to been there. She thought over who she spent time with. Only one name came to mind that she played with and didn't use protection. "Tares." Her hand covered over her mouth as she left the bathroom to go to her room.

She picked up the phone and dialed her cousin Carjea's number.

Careja sat on Tares' lap reading passages from a Portuguese sonnet book. The best way she thought for him to learn the language. Her hand reached up to feel along Tares' cheek as she paused a moment in reading. When her phone rang she picked it up and answered with a smile, still admiring him.

"Hello?"

"I know Tares is there. I need to speak with him."

Careja stopped smiling to raise an eyebrow. "No, you may not speak to him."

"I figured since I'm carrying his child that we could speak to one another."

Careja frowned and hung the phone up. Was Laranja just lying? Did she just make it up?

"Laranja says she's pregnant."

ToriKat 08-23-2008 05:12 AM

((Nothing a DNA test won't fix! Mwhahaha, but no one knows!!))

Tares frowned darkly. "I know she's your cousin...but...I'm not going to fall for any of her traps." He had felt his stomach drop, but he made his best attempt at staying strong. There was a possibility. A strong possibility. Still...the anger she had toward him and Careja was plain.

"I think she's just trying to break us up again." He closed his eyes, opening them slowly to look straight into her face. "I'm sorry for even making there be a chance...for it to be true."

Bani 08-23-2008 05:22 AM

Careja knew it could be a plot, Laranja was so easy that she could have gotten pregnant from the majority of men in Mexico and Brazil.

"I know it easily could be a plot so we should ignore it until we have definately proof." She glanced down before looking back up at his eyes that she adored so much. "How many times were you two together?"

ToriKat 08-23-2008 05:47 AM

"Just once," he admitted, feeling over her cheek. Tares felt his heart tearing some as he imagined how much it must have been hurting Careja to be caught up in this mess. Softly, his lips met her forehead.

Bani 08-23-2008 05:55 AM

Careja's anger subsided with the touch of his lips. "I understand why you were though. It was before I even let you near me. As long as I have you now, I'm so happy."

ToriKat 08-23-2008 06:43 AM

Tares smiled, letting his arms wrap around her gently. Was there another woman more perfect? He felt he could easily contest anyone's claims. "Me too," he said, whispering into her ear. "I love you, Careja."

Bani 08-23-2008 06:54 AM

Careja set the book on her lap aside so she could be closer to him. "What if the two of us had a child together?" She was sure he would have been thrilled for that to happen.

"I don't think there's a way to avoid it since we're behaving the way we are behind closed doors. I'm not sure how I feel about that though. It's not exactly lady-like before marriage and wouldn't be good for my family name."

ToriKat 08-24-2008 06:05 AM

"My biggest dream with you is marrying you. To have you as mine forever." Tares's hands clasped over hers as he brought them to his lips to kiss. "You are right...perhaps we should act more appropriately." He wanted to ask her so badly, but he lacked a ring and the guts at the moment to request Pessego's permission. He was almost certain it would be a no from the intimidating man.

He had already thought of what their children would look like. In his mind, their offspring resembled her much more. Feeling like he couldn't talk about it too much without gushing too much emotion, he smiled at her. "Children with you is my other dream."

Bani 08-24-2008 10:45 PM

"I never thought of what it would be like to be a mother." Careja loved his soft lips against her skin as they brushed her hands. "I guess it would resemble how my mother was with me." She thought over how her mother had given her everything she ever wanted, and made sure that even with such a busy schedule there was always time for her children.

"We'd do everything together. She wanted me to be a real classic lady. Like how they acted in old movies. My dad was nice, but he was with my brothers more since he had to teach them how to take over after he passed."

It was so fun and great to her that Tares would sit there and listen to her talk. The other boys she was aquainted with only used her image for publicity and spent the time they were together on their cell phones or reading scripts for their next movies. So boring!

"Do you know anything about your father, Tares? Did you ever meet him?"

ToriKat 12-23-2008 03:49 PM

Tares paused for a moment before responding to her inquiries. His father had caused his mother so much heartache. She had easily fallen for him. As easily as he had left her.

"I've never met him. He stayed at the resort my mother worked at and that was the extent of their relationship. Most likely, he left without even knowing she was with me. If he hadn't broken her heart, I think she wouldn't have been so negative about the wealthy. He was rich and full of promises. Stories about how he could help her, Cinderella, from her fate as a mere servant. Somewhere in Canada, he runs his business, probably lying to other women.

"I think she knows his name, but she'll never tell me," he murmured, feeling over her hand in soft caresses.

Bani 12-25-2008 05:15 PM

Careja glanced over his face to see the expression of sadness at the thought of his father. The man sounded so much like a great deal of the people she knew in high positions. Morango, in fact, had been one to trick lower class women into escapades of romance and money then drop rapidly. It was a wonder what he was doing with the boy he was with now.

"I'm glad you're mother's here with us now. I hope we can spoil her as much as she deserves."

The idea gave Careja such happiness, that she would be able to take care of her Tares and his mother. They deserved a lot of good things since their past had been so bleak.

"I was kind of rude to you when we first met, Tares. I'm glad you're so stubborn or we wouldn't be in the position we are now."

ToriKat 12-29-2008 06:52 PM

"I feel guilty taking so much from your family," Tares said. His fingers found interest in her vibrant hair. "I really do want to work to help support you."

While it was laughable to think that he could support her, she still found it sweet, welcoming it with a kiss. He smiled broader, swearing that nothing could ever ruin such happiness.

Florian and Florent crouched behind a bush, each taking turns to keep a lookout for Cal and Limao and their followers. Neither had a clue they were being watched anyways from a distance. Because of their curious behavior, extra monitors were aimed in their direction.

In low whispers, they attempted to plot out an escape from the seemingly endless groves of lemons and limes. The twins would need a distraction of some sorts. Perhaps a fire! Their eyes shot out into the distance where the fuel they needed most likely lay.

Bani 12-31-2008 07:34 AM

Limao answered the phone he kept in his pocket. His eyebrows raised at the information the security guard gave him. "Why are those two always causing trouble." He gave a sigh as he replaced the phone back into it's place. "Come on Cal, we're going to go stomp some bugs."

Cal pulled his hands free from his pockets where they had been shoved in defiance to a task given to them by their parents. He was extremely thankful for the distraction that kept him from completing the chore he had been given. "What are they doing now?"

A roll of his brothers eyes were followed by a short statement. "Being stupid."

The two brothers walked through the long rows of trees until they were standing behind the huddled twins. In loud voices they screamed in unison. "What are you doing?!"

ToriKat 12-31-2008 09:57 PM

The two fell against the bushes, crying out in surprise. So distracted by their plots and giggles at what Limao and Cal's faces would reflect, they hadn't seen the two walk up behind them. Earning scratches from the branches and stabs against their sides, they stared at the dreaded two.

"Nothing!" snapped Florent.

Florian rose, brushing off the leaves from his clothes. "What are YOU doing?" he snapped, equally defiant.

Bani 12-31-2008 11:29 PM

Cal responded coldly, mimicking the voice he had frequently heard his father use with subordinants. "That is none of your concern."

Apparently, his brother Limao did not get the hint of using superiority in order to terrify the two boys. In a much higher pitched excited voice he added his two cents. "We own this joint! It doesn't matter what we do!"

Cal's only notification to Limao of dissapointment was a roll of his eyes and slight sag of his shoulders. "You two had better get back to work and stop playing around. Or you're not going to get any dinner."

ToriKat 12-31-2008 11:51 PM

"How many times do we have to tell you? You can't just go around kidnapping tourists to make them your slaves!" Florent stood up. "If it's money you want, seriously, just tell us how much. We'll pay it off and then go on our way."

As if they had the money to make it worth their while! The twins laughed.

"A million? Or two?" Florian offered, patting the grass from his pants.

Bani 12-31-2008 11:54 PM

Limao couldn't contain his laughter as he spat the 5 million dollar limit. "That's the only way we would let you go."

Cal covered his mouth as he cackled. The two would never make that kind of money.

ToriKat 01-01-2009 12:56 AM

"Five..." Florian and Florent glanced at each other. They were greedy, but this was still within the realm of possibilities. The two were sure their family would be more than happy to have them back!

"Give us a phone. We'll get it," Florian demanded, a smirk growing on his lips.

Bani 05-11-2009 06:36 PM

Limao and Cal watched the two twins in front of them. They weren't sure if they should give the brothers the phone they asked for. They would more than likely call for help in order to get out of there. It was up in the air whether or not they would actually recieve the money.

"No tricks?" Cal took the cell phone from his pocket and tossed it around in his hand.

The twins shook their heads. They were ready for the phone and to recieve their freedom.

Limao reached into his own pocket when he noticed Cal's hesitation. "Here you go!" He handed the phone to the closest twin, Florian. "I'll miss you when you leave though. You were fun to tease."

ToriKat 05-13-2009 11:52 AM

Florian hastily began to punch in the number to his father's private cell phone. After entering the wrong number, he wiped his brow and edited it before starting the call. Five rings before it was picked up. Florian had gotten to the point that he could hear the loud pounds from his heart.

Mr. Park looked at the phone number with immense interest. Had his purchases drawn notice? "Ah, Limao Dulce, it's a pleasure to receive this call. What can I do for you?"

"..............Dad?"

Mr. Park looked at the number again before adjusting his headset. Now which twin was it? "Ah, yes?"

"Oh god...Dad...we've been kidnapped."

"Kidnapped!" Now how much were his boys worth? Obviously millions...

"Yeah, these two rich jerks kidnapped us to make us slaves in their orchards of fruity crap. They want five million dollars, then they'll let us free."

"...Let me speak to them, boys."

Florian smirked and passed on the phone to Limao. Home free! His father would surely set them free now. Florent looked at him with some concern.

"Talk to my father, conspirator."

Bani 05-14-2009 03:48 AM

Limao made a little gasping noise when Florian handed him the phone. He loved getting phone calls, and talking to others. "Hello? This is Limao Dulce."

Mr. Park highly doubted the Dulce's would hold his sons ransom for money. There was no reason for them to try and aquire more. The recent article in Fortune magazine detailed the fortune of the Dulce family fortune at exponential levels. "Hello Limao. How are you?"

"I'm fine, thank you sir. I just have a slight issue with your sons."

"They're difficult to deal with sometimes."

"Indeed! They were being terrible at this resort we went to in Mexico. We brought them here in order to atone for their mistakes. They refuse to work, they refuse to behave, and most of all they refuse to take orders."

"What exactly did they do at the resort?"

Limao didn't have an answer for this. He couldn't think of why they brought Florian and Florent there other than to play with and torture for their own amusement. "Well, they broke a lot of bottles of our liquor." That sounded good enough.

The cry from Florian was shielded by Cal's hand.

"I see."

"There's that, and we wanted friends!"

Cal moved from his place holding Florian to take the phone from Limao. "This is Cal Dulce. We're going to keep the two here until we get payment for what they broke, and for the brats they're being. Either 5 million or we get to keep them here in the orchards. Who wouldn't want to work here? Is it a deal?"

ToriKat 05-14-2009 01:14 PM

Mr. Park considered how he could possibly see the orchards himself. "Keep them for awhile. If you would allow me to visit, I'll pay for their stay there. I'm sure those boys eat a lot."

"Very much so," Cal stated, trying hard not to laugh too hard. "It's like housing ten people! And they're being so picky with what we feed them."

Florian and Florent made violent protests with what was being said. They attempted to strike either brother until guards from the distance proceeded forward to contain them.

Cal clicked his tongue. "There they go again...such trouble makers." With a wave of the hand, the two were knocked unconscious and sent to their room.
